I am so ashamed of my country and the millions of low-information idiots who voted for tRump. I'm glad Canada is fighting back!

As an American I am absolute ashamed and disgusted at what is happening to our standing in the world thanks to DJT. And I’m so sorry at the way this is affecting our allied countries and their citizens, our friends. We have half of the American people to thank for this, as they voted for this bafoon back into the White House!!! I’m sorry Canada that you’re having to deal with this…a lot of us Americans don’t deserve this either, but apparently this is what the majority of Americans want. I’ve never been so ashamed of my own country before. Today, this year, this era is a sad time for American’s history.

As a disabled US Veteran I did NOT vote for this administration. I do not want these tarrifs. And I feel sad for our country. This is not what our country stands for. This isn't our agenda. I feel ashamed and embarrassed by the country's actions in the last month. I'm sorry Canada and Mexico. There are other ways to deal with these issues and tarrifs are not it. People are only now realizing the HUGE mistake they made.

You know who I feel bad for? For the unaccounted children, that don’t know any better; and were sent alone by their parents or family members. What kind of parent will do this to a kid? Not a very good person, I’m sure. I pray that we do find these missing children, and that all those that are trying to make it legally into this country; will be accepted.

Canadians born here are last now. And gaslit and shamed into thinking otherwise is racist. Our kind culture has been seen as weakness and is now being proven as weakness. They are gaslighting us using our own values to squeeze our culture, way of life, and future of having a fair shot at a normal and fruitful life that was once an option for our parents. The bias and religious ideals of these countries don’t need to be addressed in Canada as the media only sees the white man as rich and exploitative. Canadian here. Trudeau is a diaster. He's letting in 1.4 MILLION migrants every year into a country of 40 million, population is exploding, housing is nonexistent, healthcare has collapsed and its overcrowded and homelessness has exploded. Trudeau has turned Canada into a third world country. It's literally India now. And Canadians have been sold out. Canada is over. Trudeau has destroyed it completely and turned into New Mumbai. I'm ashamed of what has become of Canada. Our quality of life has nosedived under the Canadian version of Maduro.

I'm really ashamed of my country of how bad we are at welcoming you (who we so desperately need), while at the same time being unable to cope with unskilled workers as a result of illegal immigration and abuse of the welfare system. I can understand everyone migrating to Switzerland that successfully supports skilled workers. I witnessed everything mentioned in this post personally, due to working in a large multinational corporation.

It takes 15% of immigrants up to 20 years to realize they've been duped and that the cost of living in Canada is too expensive? I'm surprised that the number of immigrants that choose to leave is not a lot higher, and that they don't do it much sooner. Those with marketable skills (doctorates, degrees, etc) are told by Immigration Canada that the country needs people with their skills. However, it's only AFTER they move here that they find out their foreign credentials are worthless in Canada. It's all a big scam and IC should be ashamed of themselves for selling would-be newcomers a bill of goods.

We need to stop being ashamed of NOT wanting a cultural change. I'm not hiding my thoughts any longer, yes they are taking jobs, yes they are lower wages, yes they are creating housing problems but what really concerns me is the cultural change. I'm Canadian, not East Indian or a muslim and I don't want their customs or culture in MY country. PERIOD.

I'm married to a muslim Pakistani family my wife was born in Germany, i moved to germany from Pakistan and seeing here new muslims generation is moving towards atheism which is so heart breakign, and they are ignorant for muslims values because they are being impacted by western culture and they turn their faces and ashamed of their deen, i am so happy for you guys and I know Allah will put so much barakat in your decision. I hate to say it but no wall will keep them out and we can't seem to train and hire enough border patrol and ppl to check and make sure the ppl coming in are good ppl... what if we. First, I want to thank you for making this video. The health of a country, or the health of an individual which are clearly linked, is dependent on our ability to see ourselves and each other, and make necessary changes to improve in the areas that we lack personally, and as communities in our beautiful country of Canada and other countries as well. Well, it’s a work in progress. I appreciate how you’ve inspired us to speak about things that aren’t necessarily spoken about. At least not where I live and have lived in Canada. Thank you so much for that opportunity. It doesn’t matter about my opinion. What matters is sharing our own thoughts, feelings, and experiences because they aren’t debatable. \n\nWe are in violation of Multiple Human Rights violations against Inuit , Indigenous and Métis people by the United Nations. Most have no water to drink—not even boiled water and bottled water is available sometimes when it’s brought to reservations . Children don’t have the same access to books. So many thousands of bodies of children taken to residential schools from their parents arms and community for over 160 years yet the deep wounds aren’t given compassion by most people anymore and systemic abuse actively impacts them and therefore all of Us . We are all one whether we see people as other’ or not. We’re humans. \n They’re not seen in media unless it’s a bad story yet we’re only now teaching one mandatory class by non indigenous people. Solution: elders teach their grandchildren languages that weren’t erased by genocide and environmental /spiritual cultural practices and lifestyles before they’re gone by paying first people elders and streaming it into all Canadian classrooms so the children can see a future where they’re valued and all Canadian kids can get a full education and learn accurate history. Making canoes, baskets, sacred ceremonies, food growing (that they taught to pilgrims so they’d survive here), etc. No, I’m not indigenous. I’m an immigrant like all but the first people. They’ve an amazing culture that’s been all but lost . When we don’t see ourselves represented in any media, any careers, and start our lives in extended poverty based on our race, and all that was taken still today, it’s no wonder the teen suicide rate for indigenous youth is more than double / triple all non - indigenous youth. The numbers are growing. \nI live in Care due to my physical disabilities . An international nursing student worked for me providing personal care like showers, meal prep etc and over that year, she said she wouldn’t have moved here specifically because of a few things I’ve mentioned. She told me Canada was sold to people in her country of origin as a ‘multicultural’ safe haven without extreme racism still prevalent today and within our history. \n\nI’m ashamed of Canadian government promises for over 100 years that aren’t fulfilled. All children deserve healthy drinking Water and an education. Period. Especially, the ambassadors of this amazing land that they see as themselves without separation. That’s accurate. We will have nothing to stand upon if we don’t protect the earth. It will go on without us. \n\nI see many things in the comments I’ve seen or experienced, unfortunately. This is a beautiful country for so many reasons. Wow this is my country yo.. it’s so sad to see this happen when I see homeless folks our brothers and sisters everyday out here on the street.. U cannot I repeat you cannot do this in any other country anywhere besides America.. some parts of America I didn’t even believe was our country yo it looks third world yo I’m ashamed of our actions and I do not agree with this at all.. there country needs to do something for there own people and we need to do the same.. we should help with the infrastructure and laws over there to where they don’t want or need to force there way into America.. everyone has the right to be here but do it the right way

I was born and raised in Canada and left 30 years ago. I went to Vancouver about 10 years ago to visit family and I also found it ugly. The big glass buildings looked so dirty and outdated. It felt like an old outdated logging town. Like most Canadians, I used to be proud of the medical system but now I've realized it doesn't cure people it just keeps the citizens sick. Everyone I know there is sick and they are all proud of how many operations they've had and how many pills they take. I remember paying 30% in taxes as a University student with a part-time job. It just wasn't fair. The last straw was when I saw how the Trudeau government responded during covid. They hijacking the news stations and brainwashed the citizens. And then, they froze bank accounts of those who dared to protest or even support protesters. I lost a lot of respect for people there who I thought were intelligent and It made me realize how that place turns people into drones. Now I'm ashamed to be Canadian. Most Canadians live in a bubble and think it's the best country in the world but that's because they don't know what it's like to live. Good for you for leaving. I wish you all the best.
