I m wondering where all these MAGA voters who usually rush to the comments defending Trump are now... Why so silent guys?

We all know it had nothing to do with fentanyl. It is Trump's agenda. Reading all the comments I am also proud of Canada but we need to do something about Trump! Are we just going to keep letting this happen? Him screwing us all the while his wife and buddies and himself making money for themselves??? I'm ready for the next Revolution!

I'm irritated. Re Trudeau's speech this morning, I want to comment on it. I want to say that I'm not a Trudeau fan, but his response to Trump this morning was excellent and I'm impressed. However... EVERY damn CBC YouTube page has comments turned off. WTF?

I'm not American. I grew up hearing lots of hate bout USA cuz the US doesn't exactly have a good rep in foreign policies - always bullying other nations, starting wars for oil etc. but I've always preferred USA not just for the world order it brings, it allows different voices, criticism & scolding towards its leaders compared to China, Russia & North Korea. \n\nin the US, you can talk bad bout politicians in power, or probably make movies bout these kind of things like US invading other countries for oil, or testing out some cruel AI military robots on humans (movie name: Monsters of Man), & you won't be persecuted. but after looking at a bunch of executive orders Trump has signed, the way he (& JD Vance) treated Zelenski & Canada, I don't know if I still feel the same bout USA anymore.\n\nif USA doesn't wanna continue spending on Ukraine, perhaps USA shouldn't have sweet talked Ukraine into denuclearization thru the 1994 Budapest Memorandum. that's what you get for mendling with other countries' affairs. by stopping US aid & wanting a new mineral deal, Trump's refusing to follow the Memorandum (I added this sentence thru edit as I can't reply to the comment below).\n\nunderstandably, US & UK don't need to deploy troops in Ukraine as the security assurance in the memorandum wasn't clearly defined, but it also didn't mention that Ukraine should pay the US back financially, nor any mineral concessions. \n\nTrump always wanting a purely 1 sided deal will only isolate USA from more allies.

I voted against our current administration and I’m out in the streets to try to stop what’s happening. This is disgusting, good for you for fighting back! President Trump is trying to balance our budget by smart and fair trade, that puts this country’s legal citizens first! Fair trade hasn’t existed for many years, and while there may be increases felt by these tarrifs, our hope is that long term we manufacture more excellent goods here & use more of our own natural resources! Those commenting about what we are doing to Ukraine need to get their heads out if the sand…the Ukrainian people don’t want Zelinski but cannot get rid of him! He has taken hundreds of billions of dollars from the US and has no plan for peace in his nation…Pres Trump says enough is enough, and he is trying to not only end the war, but recoup massive amounts of money we wrongly gave through a deal for natural resources. Sounds like a plan that’s good for everyone involved, and that’s how you make deals! We cannot give whst we do not have & with our debt , we cannot afford to keep printing money, devaluing the dollar, and giving it away at the expense of hard working N Americans!

I see all these other comments saying how polite and eloquent he is compared to Trump, but you can seem polite and screw people over at the same time. I'm just confused on the admiration for Trudeau in the comments, because I haven't heard anything good about him or what he's got going on. Anyway, I’m gonna tell you about my cancer story.\nTwo years ago at the age of about 53-54, I realize that I hadn’t had a mammogram in a long time because I’ve moved cities so I was on the list but in another city. So I decided I need to go get a mammogram. I contacted my GP and he gave me a referral within a couple of weeks. I had my mammogram. They didn’t like it within a week. They did it again. They didn’t like it. They decided to do an ultrasound. And still, they found areas that they were not happy with. So within another week, they did two biopsies. And they came back as cancer cells that had not gotten together yet to create a tumor. So it’s called stage zero cancer. Within two weeks I was in surgery where they took out everything they needed to and I was told that I have good margins. I then had six weeks of radiation. Five days a week for six weeks.\n\nSo about nine months after that and that healing, I had a referral to a plastic surgeon. She reduced my other breast so that I was even. That was about eight months ago. And this week I had a further reduction, call it a fine-tuning, to further ensure that I was even.\n\nThis was all done in Montreal Quebec Canada. \nI paid zero dollars, except a few times I may have paid six bucks for parking. \n\nI am cancer free. I’ve gone from a double D to a B, which you know is better than dying. I am so happy that I live here.

When people asks what it means to be Canadian, I say it means not to come here and impose your religious and cultural traditions on other Canadians who have been here for over 400 years (ya, I know some people will comment on this and say what about what the colonialists did to the indigenous people, and I’ll say ya but we conquered this land - shiity but that’s reality). If you love your culture and religions so much, why didn’t you stay in your native country. Can you imagine going to an eastern country trying to assert your own beliefs and traditions and not not honouring their culture?! Good luck with that. Comment section is quite hilarious lol. Canadians are saying “No more USA product!” on Youtube (USA company). Most businesses use Microsoft (USA company). Majority of data is stored in Amazon (USA company). Smart devices use Nvidia chips (USA company). I'm reading.\n Some of the comments. I know my opinion may not matter. But it may eh inside some people. I hope I guess the way that I would look at this is being in their shoes. It's completely different than ours. We are given opportunities from birth. Basically to common deer, the life that we would like to have well, at least most of us are. In the United States, people from degrading. Or degraded countries are not giving those opportunities. So I would imagine over the years. Any type of hope that they had for a great country is depleted. Solidarity in countries like that is not accepted it would be suppressed. It would be stormed on and smashed out by the you. See an opportunity to better your life and your children's life. And it's the fourth quarter and there's 2 seconds on the time clock. And you've only got one play to make. We all go for what the big hell, Mary and I think that's what these people are doing and God bless every one of them. That are good people. I feel sorry for this situation. I wish the world was a better place, but unfortunately it's not all we can do is pray for these individuals that hope that they find solace in what they're looking for. They’re more fit for it than me. I was born a woman, still a woman, and I can promise you I wouldn’t set foot in the military bc I don’t trust the people running it. I don’t fully trust the govt. I appreciate ANYONE willing to be more brave than the rest of us in order to protect us. I think I’m going to thank them for their service & pray God is loving on them too. Thank you for advocating for our community. I’m 71, transgender, and this administration’s rhetoric is deeply troubling to me. I can only imagine how a young transgender person or those who are serving our nation must be feeling. I have a YouTube channel, and up to now I receive very little attention about who I am. I’ve been growing my channel and enjoy making videos about “what’s next” None of them have to do with my gender. My subscribers /viewers seem to like my content despite my being transgender my comments are very respectful and supportive of my content. I hope that trend continues. People fear what they don’t know.

Basically, a year of minimum wage take home pay. Very few people would find that amount of money easy to deal with.\n\nIn Canada it's not only free, but the government pays you monthly amounts if your income is less than what they deem enough to provide for them. This amount can be significant and continues until the child is 19.
