The part that she actually does have to hear and accept is the truth..Her ancestors were and are colonizers, those are basic truths.. Now there are car loads of east Indians running around some actually living in those communities.. I am not a racist person, but that's my own observation on the ground.. Canadian here: I don’t agree with the WSJ that DJT is a very smart man. I think they are just being diplomatic and putting the emphasis on the actions, rather than speaking ad hominem. I think he is crafty, but not well-informed, or logical. Even if he is smart, he is not wise, and there is a huge difference. If you read Proverbs, you’ll see he has the traits of a nabal, a fool. Plus, he is showing signs of cognitive decline. Europe has just announced an 800 billion Euro defence plan; I bet they’d be very interested in Canada’s critical minerals. Canadians will not forget this; this has damaged our relationship with the U.S. and it may never recover. We cannot forget that Americans voted this man back into power knowing who and what he is; they somehow believed that he was magically going to lower the cost of eggs, end a war and save the economy. As a Canadian, I may not have agreed with everything Trudeau has done in the past 9 years. However he’s handled this American threat with class and dignity and I’m proud of our response. American/Canadian relations will never be the same. After all of this is over, there is a lot of apologies and healing that has to happen before we can even start thinking about rebuilding this relationship.
