-DEAR AMERICANS ..., this video is a prime example of why the USA needs to stop depending so much on other countries for so much importing and start investing in building and start manufacturing products again in the US like it used to be and keeping our farmlands IS VERY IMPORTANT also. Now you see the other side to alot of what's going on , it's important for America as a whole. If you don't understand why manufacturing/ farming/ and investing into some independence like other countries is important ....now you know!!! . Yes their are always gonna be trades and we need them also, But USA is like totally relying on other countries for everything!! We have nothing to offer of value anymore as a country or trade!! \n\n Hopefully the leaders in charge work with these trade countries and they come to fair agreements in fairness and the best intrest of Canada and USA .

Good for Canada the republicans in congress are spineless to stand up to the felon president Trump and are allowing him to be a fascist tyrant. As an American it hurts to see how Trump treats allies and how he embraces enemies like Putin, North Korea and others. As painful as it will be I hope the free world does what the Republicans are scared to do and that is stand up to Trump and put him in his place!

I hope Americans are happy with their choice of president. I could see this coming a mile away trump is a putin loving dictator that will destroy the free world in under 4 years.

As an American, I am very sad to see our neighbors and friends pull away from us. All of these decades of working together to achieve the greater good for the world; destroyed by one man's selfishness, greed, and delusion. Don't get me wrong, he's supported by people that worship him and are pushed on by their own delusions of grandeur and selfishness. They can't see the immovable, solid wall they are hurdling towards. I hope in the future, our past friends and allies are willing to take us back once these fools get kicked out.

Sad to see all of this. Really sad. Hopefully, the world will be at peace soon. Trump is smart and very good at making deals, but hopefully his elegance won't lead his intelligence.

To all Canadian's, I did not vote for him and tried to convince others of how bad his was, but here we are. I love Canada. I have been to Canada several times and the people have been so warm and welcoming. It is beyond sad to see this happening. He's a traitor and I don't understand why someone can't arrest him and his gang of thugs. Trust me there are a lot of people here who do not want this. I'm a 71 yr. old with lots of medical issues. I wish I could have done more to stop this. I've always wanted to see Banff. Hopefully, one day I will be welcomed back.

It doesn't make sense until you're prepared to face the fact that Trump is a wannabe dictator. Very proud of our Prime Minister!!! The Trump administration is currently destroying America. Canadians and Americans have been working hand in hand for more than a century and it's so sad to see that a bunch of billionnaires are using lies and manipulation to get their way. I cannot see any sanity, logic, or forward looking, with putting tariffs on our allies. It is hurtful to everyday Americans. Who benefits from this? The wealthy, like t-rump, and his cronies. If you think inflation was a very serious concern of t-rump or the repubies, why doesn't he fix it right now? What he is doing is causing inflation to skyrocket with no end in sight. Those of you wealthy who think t-rump is right are a leach who feeds off of taking from those who have little to nothing. If t-rump wanted to he could fix it on day one like he said. He has no idea what he is doing - laying off thousands of federal workers. He wants to bring jobs to America by becoming a traitor to our very faces with putin. you repubes are all traitors to what the Flag stands for. Those jobs won't come in the next 4 years. If there are no manufacturing plants in the U.S. we will have to build them. How long will it take to build these factories and tool them up to accept workers? None of what the repubes agenda is set about bringing jobs to America - the way I see it, we are losing jobs now. The factories won't be ready for years. You who voted for this freak - I hope you suffer the most.

Please don’t say ‘they’. Say ‘Trump’. Most of us don’t want this either…. His only mistake was not to talk to his Canadian in the same way about the external diplomatic journey. Most Canadians voted him out because most Canadians have little to no idea how it is arround the globe, missing an overall perspective in their critic to Trudeau. I allways knew Trump was bad news but never did I see a country turn it's administrative logistic into a pure representation of the cult Donald made into place. Somewhat right but not exactly right. According to Trump admin, Trump is actually trying to stop the circumvention of Chinese goods and Chinese drugs coming from Canada. Trudeau promised Trump to work on the drug issue, but I guess he did not if we are seeing the significant import tax on Canada now. And come on Trudeau, you dislike Trump and aren't exactly his friend. You talked back on him on many international stages. Anyways, I wish you two get along eventually and hope the same for US and Canada.

Why can’t we have a real leader like this! Instead we have a belligerent egomaniac Russian asset as president. He shouldn’t have even had 10% of the vote. I don't like Trudeau, but this speech was great. Intelligent when he needed to be, simple when addressing Trump. A strong start to this trade war which as he said, we don't want.
