This is why when you come to a different country you should try to assimilate. I am all four people keeping their culture alive. I wish as an American I had more of a culture. But for one you should learn to speak the language you can speak your native tongue also but you should also speak the language to the country you’re going to, and the driving issue I’m pretty sure is due to the way they drive in India there’s like no road laws and its insane driving. Maybe there needs to be more laws regarding some of these things you should have to take driving lessons in the country you’re moving to. I don’t exactly know but there needs to be more rules. the Indians i know in canada have been very hard working and honest people. there was one who had to go back home though they wouldn’t renew his worker permit. I know plenty more on these permits. Indian households in Canada make more on average than native Canadians. To be absolutely clear.. this is not an Indian problem its a government problem. They let in anyone who could spell their name. I know several Indians who are professional and kind. But most are rude they run into you. Cut you off while walking and driving. Walmart is the worst now. AFSPA gives the state the power to detain or kill anyone with impunity. No due process is needed. AFSPA is imposed on areas India deems restless, such as South Tibet and Kashmir. It is a law meant to suppress dissent and instill fear among the populace. The Tibetans in occupied South Tibet are voiceless people because they are not the right kind of Tibetans, so their plight is ignored by the Western world. I have yet to hear from the Western media any concern for the human rights abuses of the Tibetans in occupied South Tibet by India. P.S. I am using the word Tibetan as an umbrella term to include the various Sino-Tibetan Burmese people (Monpa, Abotani (called Lhotba on the Chinese side),..etc. The Sixth Dalai Lama was a Monpa) in South Tibet. The Sixth Dalai Lama is known for his many love poems and romantic escapades outside the Potola Palace. Sadly, his hometown, Tawang, is now under India's occupation since 1951. The Tawang Monastery is the last major frontier monastery before the area merged into the tribal region. It historically enjoyed a close relation with the Beijing central government. I know it's not on most people's radar, but what is a huge problem that no one talks enough about is how when so many temporary foreign workers come here, they make money in Canadian dollars and then send that money out of our economy to their home Country. So our Canadian dollars are sold, and isn't spent in our Economy. When you go somewhere and you don't see any born in Canada employees you really need to make a choice to not support that business. Canadian wages should go to Canadians and spent in our economy. I hope we wise up and we start to really limit how many people we bring into the Country. I’m a proud Indian who is now a Canadian citizen, and I’ve made a conscious effort to assimilate into Canadian culture and values. What bothers me is how this conversation has been reduced to blaming one group. The reality is that the Canadian government failed first by not properly managing immigration volumes, not enforcing document verification, and not honestly assessing whether the country could support such rapid population growth. That policy failure created pressure on housing, jobs, and social systems long before resentment followed. We also need honesty within the Indian community. Some Indians struggle to adapt being overly loud, culturally rigid, and sometimes lacking empathy for Canadian norms and shared public spaces. I studied Canadian and Indigenous history in school, and respecting that history matters. Assimilation doesn’t mean abandoning your culture, but it does mean understanding and respecting the society you chose to join. Cultural education should be expected, not optional. That said, one Indian doing something wrong does not make all Indians bad. Most Indian students and workers I know are hardworking, punctual, and serious about contributing. I’ve personally worked minimum-wage jobs for years, and what I noticed was not jobs being “taken,” but fewer Canadian youth willing to stay in or commit to these roles long-term. Indians didn’t replace Canadians, they filled vacancies that already existed. I also briefly volunteered helping the homeless, and what I saw was honestly shocking. It’s not that the government isn’t trying to help there are rehabilitation programs and support systems in place. The difficult truth is that a significant portion of the homeless population struggles with substance abuse and refuses treatment because it requires giving up drugs. Over time, homelessness itself starts to function like a culture, where benefits and assistance unintentionally enable continued substance use rather than recovery. This is an uncomfortable reality people don’t like to talk about. None of this is simple. Immigration didn’t break Canada, and neither did one community. Poor policy, weak enforcement, lack of accountability, and refusal from governments and individuals to adapt responsibly is what brought us here. Blame is easy. Honest solutions are not.

I am working very hard in my country to be a doctor and I wanna leave my country (because no opportunities ) and move to a better and a safer country where I’m respected as a woman , which my country fails to . Whats not fair is that they came here for a better life and now our quality of life has suffered. Every person will tell you how things have changed negatively because of the Indians, Punjabi's and Pakistanis. None of them aligns with Canadian values. I feel its very rude and nerve-racking of them to come here and then try to change our culture to look like what they just came from. They are a dirty people. They have no rules when it comes to cleanliness in their food factories. They literally use their filthy feet to help in the preparation of food that is shipped to Western countries. Its a common agreement that we dont want them here. Even natural-born Indians dont want them here. They know how disgusting their hygiene practises are. I went to an indian resteraunt with a friend of mine and i could see into the kitchen and the guy who was cooking was barefooted and as he came to deliver the food he slid into a pair of slippers. I asked him if he was cooking in bare feet and he lied saying OHHH no maam and then he lifted his foot. I looked at my friend and said this is grose and im going to McDonalds. And everyone in Mcdonalds was Indian too. FUCC that. Canada doesnt even look Canadian anymore. We honestly look Asian and its the Liberals who are doing it. Get rid of White Canadians. Bring in Dumb down indians and they will never lose another election

The EU has this new enlightened plan to open borders to Indian 'talent' as they say. We all know what happened after the previous plans of importing all those docters and engineers 🙄 As a EU citizen, does anyone have any ideas on how to seek asylum in a actual functional country? I know everyone says "why dont you move back to India, instead of making this place like India?" Truth is, people want to replicate their home countries and cultures, MINUS the things that made them leave. Political corruption, poor living conditions and struggling economy. Its like a revised version. Considering they dont make huge political changes, I dont see a problem with that tbh

Dear Canadians, I know this is no consolation, but you are not alone in facing this problem. Here in Western Europe, in countries like the UK, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, and France, something similar is happening. Here, it's different groups causing trouble and slowly but surely gaining majorities in cities. The EU is also now starting to make agreements with India, which will most likely lead to further migration to Europe. For me, Canada will always be the proud country I was fortunate enough to visit 20 years ago.

It all boils down to how the Indians are raised in their own country. They are raised with the individual mentality. Do for yourself, and to hell with the others. Leave it for someone else to take care of. This is why their country is one of the dirtiest in all the world. They use the streets as a garbage can or toilet, then just leave it for someone else to clean it up. But, when everyone is raised with this attitude, there's no one left to clean it up. In India, they have the "untouchables". Yes, the caste system is still operating in India, although it's not recognized by the government. It's the untouchables that are supposed to clean up all the trash and feces off the streets, but they never do. They don't get paid to do it. This is why their trash clean up is so poor as far as having trucks go around and pick it up to take to a landfill. There are very few untouchables and the other people won't work for the trash pick up companies, because they feel it's beneath them. So, they trash their country and instead of cleaning it up, they move to another country to trash it. My brother used to be a truck driver for many years. Every time he saw a truck rolled over on it's side, he'd say "Must have been an Indian", because every rolled over truck he ever saw was driven by someone from India. If you look at videos of the traffic in India, you will see lot of trucks rolled over, and you'll see no one pay attention to stop lights, stop signs and everyone just cuts off everyone. This is the individual idea. I have to get somewhere, so I will cut you off to get there. It's always "Me, me, me". This attitude causes so many wrecks. Westerners have a hard time driving in India because we are all raised with everyone in mind, not just ourselves. We are a community, not an individual. We need to put a big wall around India and stop all airplanes going in and out, so they don't spread their diseased ideals of life and end up ruining another country. Do you know why India doesn't really take military training very seriously? Because no other country wants to invade and have to deal with the clean up. At this point, it's just about impossible to ever clean that country up.

I don't understand what makes them think they can come to a White country, on Christian land, seriously. Their food? Why would you eat that witchcraft food anyway. Unless it's coming from a Christian, one that actually follows Jesus Christ you shouldn't be eating it. American Indians confirm Vikings were there the same time they were, but the fact is, Vikings travelled everywhere they just didn't settle everywhere and they actually came long before the American Indians saw them, as in Vikings were actually in America first.
