It makes me happy to read the comments and seeing so many against him. 10 years ago it would have been the other way around. All the liberal bleeding hearts would be crying for him. People are fed up, and I'm glad.

I am not A Canadian I’m an American, but I interact with lots of Canadians as they find themselves coming down here for one reason to the other and I’m not near the border either. I’m quite far into the US in a major US city.\n\nThere are two types of Canadians that distinct themselves. The first group is the ones that are themselves immigrants that are naturalized. I make this distinction because many cases they have not assimilated. They still have their own culture from another country and is pointed out by the narrator people from south Asia and Asia strongly have their culture And language \n\n( Canada is good for allowing people to live in communities to cut themselves off from the main screen. You have people who speak the Ukrainian language Going Back 4 generations)\n\nThen I’m gonna have to use a euphemism that might make peoples hair stand on the back of their neck. I’m gonna call them. The white Canadians has a euphemism. These are people who are going so far back from the British Isles for the most part and the French also speak another language who have no connection to Europe. The English-speaking Canadians who are you from white could walk down or come down to the US and fit right in in a matter of weeks if they’re not already assimilated into the US Culture ( I hope I don’t see any fireworks start coming from this comment) Many of these white Canadians are now more economically disadvantage than the newer Asian and south Asian immigrants and find themselves often times competing for resources with these newer immigrants. Many immigrants more effectively when it comes to investment funds and banking as they formed their own little cocoon communities that don’t interact with the white Canadians.\n\nUnderstandably the white Canadians feel like they’re shut out, unappreciated by the government and now disadvantage and if they raise any protest, they’re called racist and white supremacist. \n\nJust so you know, I am not a white American, but I have an immigrant father from East Asia and I have relatives of my fathers who are also from the same Asian country who immigrated the Canada that I’m in contact with\n\nCulturally when I run into white Canadians, what I noticed is that their diction and speech is so clean clear and polished. It’s almost like they went to a finishing school or a low level class in diplomacy and public speaking many of these people come off like human resource people in the US because their culture is one of accommodation and consideration for other people they know how to be mindful of other people and these are great qualities\n\nYes, the Canadian government is messing up right now and they’re gonna wind up, ruining the social cohesion of their country if they have any and also wasting their human capital

So much ignorance in the comments. A lot of people say the man was right and that this is not harassment. Well this is what muslim women have to deal with basically on a daily basis. Having men/people shout at you to die, curse at you and just simply be rude. If you support that it just says a lot about your character. It is really sad that so many people lack decency. I too don‘t like every person I see on the streets but that doesn‘t mean I go after them and curse them. That seems like a mentally unstable thing to do… so yeah your support of that man just underlines the overwhelming islamophobia which also stems from ignorance. Maybe try to better yourselves peeps and learn things from the right sources. If you try to learn history you don‘t go to your math teacher for that so learn about Islam from reliable islamic sources and while researching about this war look at both sides please. The only reason India is lacking behind is because of it's abundant population and it was not blessed with self rule up until 1947 which kind of derailed it's progress by years thanks to European Colonization and discrimination. \nJust as an example for folks who are ignorant to see India as a third world or poor or poorly run country - \n* The way India handled Covid for 1+ billion people is something close to impossible for Canada with a meagre population of around 40 million. \n* You don't have to wait for months or weeks for normal checkups, MRIs, doctors and so on. \n* You don't have to pay $50+ per month for a meagre 10-30gb data instead it's less than $4 per month for 1-2gb/day data (yes per day)\n* The military budget of India is 66 billion dollars while Canada's is a meagre 26 Billion dollars.\n* India is capable of launching advanced missions in Space and has single handedly indigenously created aircrafts to land in moon and space exploration.\n* India has home grown automobile companies like Tata Motors (which owns Jaguar and Land Rover), Mahindra and many more while I don't see any homegrown automobile companies in Canada.\n* India has more than 170 billionaires while Canada has around 70.\n* India's richest people won't even bother to invest in Canada because it's not a viable market, but the economy in India is booming and will continue to do so.\n* Despite the population the country is managing in such a way that Canada can only dream off. Just because you had the privilege and the means to be developed does not give you the right to demean other nations. It's really nothing that you did, it's just pure luck, right place, right time, white superiority, destruction and so on which enables you to live such privileged lives and now you are crying when people are actually working hard to provide some competition.\n\nDon't you think regardless of race or ethnicity, every human being deserves the best life? \n\nBefore you judge a country do some research. \n\nYes, the people in general have a different thought process where in prominence is not given to space, way of living, probably you can put it up as standard of living and the quality of thought process. But that's always the case with generalization. I know it's hard not to when you see it, but being a better human is all about thinking beyond that. Yes people in India are general prone to having a shortcut process, at the same time, highly skilled people are abundantly present. In the information sector and other highly skilled areas, they are present earning loads of money which reverberates to more tax money for the government. \n\nI know that they have major issue with absorbing the host country culture and I believe that can probably or maybe alleviated by having some cultural programs so that they can fit into the society so that the Canadian culture is upheld. It's always difficult to see changes around you and your home being in your words being raided by foreign entities. Guess what? The world is filled with different ethnic groups. Hundreds of years ago all your native homes were part of the indigenous people here and they didn't even have time to complain or lament online when the Europeans butchered them and massacred their homelands, claiming the land and setting up as their own. Now you are in a position to call something your home and we all know what all your ancestors did regardless of how good you are right now. The least you can do is not comment such provocatively online against other ethnicities or is this atrocity still there in your blood. It's very simple. Try to think beyond frustration and be grateful for what you have. \n\nBy the way I can write more but I don' think it's worth my time but maybe positive things can happen if you put your mind into.

As someone that lives an hour outside of Toronto it honestly disgusts me and angers me to see how many immigrants and “new Canadians” are living a better and more prosperous life then the actual people who work their asses off and contribute to society. Keep them out, kick them out and give back to your people the Canadians who deserve it and work for it not someone who got flown over on a plane or shipped over on a boat . I’m very disappointed by this video. I recently watched another one by True North about the poor state of the Canadian military and agreed with it 99%.\n\nBut this just seems like pandering to petty divisions and bigotry.\n\nI’m no SJW and agree there are legitimate reasons to question immigration and related policies. I don’t just expect we hold hands and all get along suddenly.\n\nBut honestly this wasn’t a fact based, objective analysis of the issues. It was pointing out statistics of demographic imbalances (with blatant graphics) and suggesting that on its own was bad. \n\nIt was asking non-East Indian people and East Indian people what they thought about these issues. The questions were loaded and leading and the answers were cherry picked, especially regarding the East Indian peoples’ responses.\n\nAs an attempt to get likes, attention and comments this, like countless divisive crap from both extremes, was a success. But from an objective, rational stand point this just comes across as being bigoted and ignorant.\n\nLike look at most of the comments. Typical ignorant and hateful spew like close the borders, screw Trudeau, they don’t work, etc. Anyone who studies history sees these usual, predictable slogans and laugh. Again look at the comments. How many are just emotional, knee jerk and don’t see the other side? Yaa…\n\nAnd I don’t like Trudeau, SJW BS, and have my own issues with immigration and cultural issues that have impacted my life. But it’s not black and white and your video and much of these comments aren’t the future I want for Canada either.

Well, I have seen most of hatred comment towards International student. Meanwhile, it was government who allowed us to enter. I am not from India but hate for Indian people is real. Idk who should we blame. As being outsider, i believe we should be humble to this country and their people.\nPs: i came to Canada in September 2022, and i used to be surprised seeing people minding their own business. Either it is in metro or bus. But lately i have become one of them. I don’t have many friends here. My schedule is home to college, college to home, home to work, work to home. I have seen many indian officials in india and almost all of them are not quick to anger. Even if they are bad mouthed or accosted . That is level of their training. \n\n Even if they are corrupt, they will not loose cool. They will smile all along. He should have taken leave and returned home. NOW THIS incident is part of his CR.\n\n If i speculate from my experiences in govt offices. This lady must be US citizen. She went for emergency visa and there might be some minor issues with documentation. \nAs the officer , donot have authority to ignore such issues. He would have asked for correction and lady who is already in distress due to fathers passing, must have said something wrong which might be reflective of her experiences when she was indian citizen. She donot know drastic changes happened in past 10-15 years.\n\n.This would have triggered this official. \nFor video, this lady became calm. Collected when official flew in rage.

I have reviewed the comments and I see the impact the government is impressing with their lack of maintenance in many of their expensive pruchases. Action without responsibilty is a dangerous road to travel. Fools jump in where angles fear to tread.

Please listen up everyone . I got to Canada two months ago I have spoken to so many people that have been here for 8 months , 6 months etc. . I was just reading the comments and it's sickening so see how many prejudice people this world has. For all you people that left a negative comment on here WHY WHY . If this channel doesn't interest you just move on.

For people commenting about house helps and maids being available in India, is it a healthy thing? The reason even middle class in india boasts about maids is the overpopulation of unskilled people and no minimum wages act that prevents exploitation of those house maids. Let government fix a minimum wage of 25000 for a full time maid and then see how many of us are able to afford them?

So, contrary to what others are commenting on here, he doesn’t want to take the Palestinians in for 2 actual reasons. 1. He doesn’t care about the Palestinians, but rather sees them as needed bodies because he thinks if all the Palestinians leave, Israel won’t allow them back. 2. He doesn’t want to take in Palestinians because of how many of them have extreme beliefs. Saudi Arabia doesn’t have that many terrorists, so why would he allow a population in that has a sizable percentage of terrorists?

I'm from Asia and recently moved to Canada with my family to live a slower-paced and safer life. I've seen firsthand that the drug problem here is worse than it was back home, and they're being coddled with no plans to discipline or rehabilitate them. I asked my friends how I could defend myself and my family if a random drug addict broke into our house and stole our belongings; could I at least beat that person up until the police arrived? They said you couldn't because you'd be charged with assault. It's funny. \n\nApart from the crimes and exorbitant living costs despite living in a rural area, even Canadians who have lived in the country since birth are struggling to make ends meet. \n\nSome positive comments, Canada provided me with a work-life balance that was not possible in Asia due to the competitive nature of the corporate world. So I had time to spend with my family, and you don't have to travel abroad to see beautiful scenery. Canadians are also very accommodating and friendly, in contrast to where I came from, where people will not help unless it benefits them as well. The Canadians here are extremely friendly. So Canada is great because of its people, but I can tell you that the government consistently makes bad decisions about how to solve certain problems, such as drugs and harm reduction strategies. Another issue is that they do not recognize internationally trained professionals, which could have helped alleviate healthcare issues in our area, where we have many internationally trained nurses from the Philippines working as restaurant servers and janitors. We have doctors from Kenya who have to work as general laborers and in other odd jobs where they can use their profession and experience to help people. I am also an immigrant, but the government should strategically distribute us based on our qualifications. I chose a rural area because I don't want to add to the number of immigrants in big cities and instead want to contribute to the local economy by bringing my skills and experience to the pool. \n\nCanada is a wonderful country, and I continue to believe so, but the government must reward and do more for its people who are trying their best to make this country great.

I don’t see many comments about the education system. Canada has one of the best public education systems in the world. Teachers are also valued and get paid much better. I make double or triple what an American teacher makes and that’s sad. Also Canada has the highest number of citizens that have post secondary degree (per capita)

It's interesting to see the comment section filled with agency mafiosi posing as ordinary citizens, trying to persuade Kenyans to move to Canada. These individuals are in the business of deceiving Kenyans and then leaving them stranded on the streets. The reality is that life in Canada is not easy, and it can take many years to establish oneself. The cost of living is among the highest, and opportunities can be elusive. I read through the comments and couldn't help but notice the deceit perpetuated by these agents.

Comments from a Canadian. Homeless people are generally concentrated in the larger cities but in the past few years it has become a real problem. It is a real problem for the people when the temperature drops to -30C. Mental wellness is a huge issue. The racism issue is mainly against the indigenous. The doctor migration to the US is a money thing, not better conditions. Getting a family doctor is easy in some places and difficult in others, generally in rural communities. Getting a reference to a specialist is not an issue and I believe this may be a doctor specific issue. If your GP does not refer you, ER will take care of you. The issue with referrals is the triage system that may result in a longer wait to see the specialist. This is in contrast to the US where one can see a specialist very quickly, if one has insurance. In Canada, every citizen and legal resident has the ability to receive medical care as covered by the provincial medical systems which differs from province to province. Many doctors are now offering online communication with your GP and specialist. Your finance comments are inaccurate. There are 5 nation wide banks but there are also nation wide credit unions and provincial banks which in my opinion these tend to offer better service than the big 5 (exclude National Bank, which is big bank but more investment focused). Cell carrier monopolies is a real issue. Cell carriers are recently offering unlimited data, no long distance to the US, etc. Other countries have a definite advantage here. The government has enabled conditions for a new carrier a few times but eventually, these smaller carriers get swallowed up by the big national carriers. More recently Rogers bought out Shaw which limits our choices further. Sales tax is not always 10-15%. In Alberta the sales tax is 5%. Passing courses and evaluations ensures there are standards which is a good thing. Would you want a Civil Engineer designing a road or bridge that is not suitable for the climate? How about a doctor with questionable credentials? Agree with your recommendations for hiring. It is expensive to hire and train a new employee but can be much more expensive to fire an employee. Agree with the housing crisis comments and the reasons. Getting an absent owner to fix a property? This is crazy inaccurate. Multi-dwelling properties have property managers paid to look after the properties regardless of who owns it. While on the average, foreign investment may not seem to contribute to property prices, this is not the case when looking a the local sectors of the big two - Toronto and Vancouver. There was a case in Vancouver where a property with a shack sold for over $1MM. This is not because the house price was unrealistic, but because of the property location and perceived property value. This is a direct result of foreign investment in houses in the Vancouver area resulting in a lack of properties. Many of these foreign owned single family investment properties remain empty most of the year. Another big issue in many Canadian municipalities is the lack of building code enforcement. The laws are in place but not always enforced.

There are so many scary things about the US right now. Drugs, crime, mass murders, accessibility to healthcare, terrorism, racial hate crimes, etc. The list is quite long. Not everyone is affected by all of these things (knock on wood). One thing that is disgusting is politics. It is not dangerous per se as the aforementioned so it is probably not fair to say it as a justification against moving to the US. However, it is very commonplace in the US, and it is very annoying. Politics is extremely toxic, aggressive, and divisive right now. One wrong comment out of your mouth in public, and people will be ready to fight you. Or on the flip side, you hear one wrong comment in public, it is best to bite your tongue. \n\nPolitics in the US was not always intolerable. It has always been a strong subject of discussion since forever. However, it became disgusting and overly obnoxious ever since Trump came into the scene. I think his elitist personality gave his supporters a green light to be more vocal about their own divisiveness. Combine that with social media, and you have a recipe for disaster... so much hate, divisiveness, and willingness to not bite one's tongue right now in the States. American politics is really overbearing. And monkey see and monkey do... it will leak into Canada. I guarantee it.

I see this done a lot but there's a big difference between correlation and causation. Your Rbc example shows the top people all white, including women I may add. It's very ingenuous to claim racism based purely on who has risen to the top. Would you call the NBA racist because blacks overwhelmingly are represented or did they get there because they were the best? I would counter that racism or xenophobia is far more common in non western countries.\nI would suggest countries in Asia, Africa and others with less multicultural populations harbor more racist sentiment towards other races. It’s horrific how these ppl are forced to live, that is NOT life..reading the comments, it’s disheartening to see. Put yourselves in their shoes! Ask yourself many questions. First, I want to thank you for making this video. The health of a country, or the health of an individual which are clearly linked, is dependent on our ability to see ourselves and each other, and make necessary changes to improve in the areas that we lack personally, and as communities in our beautiful country of Canada and other countries as well. Well, it’s a work in progress. I appreciate how you’ve inspired us to speak about things that aren’t necessarily spoken about. At least not where I live and have lived in Canada. What matters is sharing our own thoughts, feelings, and experiences because they aren’t debatable. \n\nWe are in violation of Multiple Human Rights violations against Inuit , Indigenous and Métis people by the United Nations. Most have no water to drink—not even boiled water and bottled water is available sometimes when it’s brought to reservations . Children don’t have the same access to books. So many thousands of bodies of children taken to residential schools from their parents arms and community for over 160 years yet the deep wounds aren’t given compassion by most people anymore and systemic abuse actively impacts them and therefore all of Us . We are all one whether we see people as other’ or not. We’re humans. \n They’re not seen in media unless it’s a bad story yet we’re only now teaching one mandatory class by non indigenous people. Solution: elders teach their grandchildren languages that weren’t erased by genocide and environmental /spiritual cultural practices and lifestyles before they’re gone by paying first people elders and streaming it into all Canadian classrooms so the children can see a future where they’re valued and all Canadian kids can get a full education and learn accurate history. You are wrong about Canada protecting and caring about homeless and in-need people. The reality is that even though you don't see all the homeless people, there are tens of thousands of them in each city, more so in the warmer climates. The UN has already been on Canada's back for the abuse of homeless people and the cruelty towards them and those with mental health problems. Canada is a fraud and has been deceiving immigrants and visitors for over a hundred years. Many of the homeless people in Canada, especially in the past 20 years and from the start of the pandemic, continuing to this day, are now including people with good educations and many years of high-level job experiences, as well as whole families. These people became homeless because of massive job layoffs and lost everything. Contrary to the popular Canadian ideology, homeless people are not lazy slobs who don't bother to work and need to get their acts together. Many of the homeless shelters are filled with dangerous people, bed bugs, and diseases. Many homeless people choose to find alternatives to sleep safely. Many homeless women experience terrible sexual assaults that rarely are reported and rarely ever taken seriously by the police. Most alternatives to shelters are limited and there are so many restrictions that qualifying doesn't always happen. Many have had their ID stolen, so they are unable to get jobs, rent homes, or even have a day to shower and clean their clothes. Most donations of clothes, blankets, and sleeping bags are disregarded because most homeless people don't have the means to carry things. Their nutrition is terrible, through no fault of their own. Many food banks will not give food to those without a home. Many soup kitchens will only help periodically and not for every meal. Canada's treatment of homeless people and mentally people is not just disgraceful, but criminal. The general attitude of many Canadians, as taught to them by deliberate government propaganda, is that if you are poor or were abused or a victim of crime, is that they did something to deserve it. Rents across Canada are beyond the reach of the majority of Canadians, yet, Canada refuses to set up a council house system like the UK. There are no emergency homes and no emergency assistance even close to what the UK and other countries across the world provide. Canada's continued abuse, ill-treatment, crimes against humanity, and genocide of the First Nations peoples is not a past history, but an ongoing history that is not about reconciliation. It is about shutting them up so that they cannot speak and get true justice, instead of just a federal government settlement of a meager amount that has only increased the addictions of victims, who have no one to help them or a place to turn. Canada lies about trauma help and treatment for people for having been victims, or have developed PTSD (this is a brain injury and only a mental health problem if the person becomes suicidal or is unable to do the basics of essential living), and worse, Canada lies about this in relation to kids. Alberta has a place that they claim is for treating trauma in kids. However, this place is nothing more than a low-level counseling center to reunite kids with their parents, who have been removed by law. Any child requiring help has to deal with just basic counselors, who are not trained in helping traumatized and PTSD kids. In relation to the First Nations peoples, if the teens have mental health issues, and if they have to be temporarily hospitalized by their parents, social workers and doctors will force joint custody with the parents, to treat the kids or remove them so they can carry on the government's crimes against the First Nations peoples. The crimes continue. In these past few months, a baby was left to die in a basket at a nurse's station in the Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta. The mother was allegedly treated like garbage and her child was allegedly called a specimen. But this is not the only case of such abuse of First Nations pregnant mothers and their children. A case over a decade ago allegedly also took place, and the number of these cases in this hospital alone may possibly be much higher, and other hospitals may also be hiding such crimes. An infant, who was the victim of attempted murder by one or the other parent, was put in the care of relatives by social workers, who were totally unaware of the crime, but the one parent, who was put in the hospital's mental health unit, mentioned a version of what had happened, and when the relatives found out, they were allegedly reassured by the hospital that they would deal with the matter. The relatives believed, understandably, that the hospital would report the crime, but it never did. Allegedly the hospital covered up yet another crime. The police in the city, allegedly informed at some point, one of the relatives that no charges could be laid even if the child remembered as the Canadian health services do not believe that children below the age of 4 can remember anything. It was when I heard about this that I realized that the reason Canada has gotten away with the crimes against the 1st Nations, immigrants, Canadians, and who knows how many other victims, through the mandated alleged use of forced assimilation and the alleged Soviet-style education system, is because of this fake claim that children and even infants cannot remember things. This deliberate lie to those relatives allegedly by the police, shows clearly that Canada is following the dangerous path in a more stealthy fashion than the Nazis did to the Jews and others they rounded up, arrested, tortured, and/or eventually murdered. Your perceptions are limited by your obvious lack of real knowledge and real experience. Please, if you are going to make such a video, live in Canada, all over Canada for at least 30 years, then comment, please!

I live in a small town in Ontario with not many immigrants. I always hear people in the media or politics talking about minority groups and wonder if people from other places feel set apart. I find it a real challenge mentally to not think about it if I see someone who looks different from me…. Like it weighs on my mind, but meanwhile I just want to treat people the same… I think everyone who comes to Canada legally should feel like a part of the country. Wow reading many of the comments makes me think 'yikes'. Too many people see immigrants as creating a bigger problem (and cannot see how they are the solution). For me if you come to a small community college is not easy. Like this people who come straight with no background sometimes even small family own store may not even hire you. Nowsaday jobs in canada is need at least 6 month experience or a certification that you actually did some hands on activity completed in the course. I also agree with some comments research before you come here. Many Indian student are so eager to get a job but without at least a 6 months experience need not easy. That is why sometimes I see many student suffer but in my opinion you have to know why you come here in the first place.

Both my parents immigrated from Europe so I can relate to many of the comments.\nSo, what I see is that Canada is a country of mostly heavy industry which often requires people to live in rural, remote, isolated communities. Canada is a big country so transportation is a significant part of it's economic foundation. Most people do not come here wanting to live up north or drive a commercial truck. They want to live in a big city and have a professional job.\nClearly the government has done a poor job of conveying what is needed (Trudeau is pretty clueless to be honest).\nIf you want to be in demand go rural and go north.

Yeah is it like a private establishment where you can just deny to provide service and storm off? Is that responsible or mature?
