Many people seem shocked that the US is acting this way towards its “closest ally.” Let’s not forget that in the days and weeks following 9/11, when a town like Gander, Newfoundland took in thousands of Americans when airplanes were grounded, the US was initially blaming Canada for its lax border and immigration laws in allowing terrorists into the US. They even suggested a number of the Al-Qaeda terrorists in those airplanes had entered from Canada! ? We seem to be an easy target for our ‘close’ friends sought of the border.

I suggest that the Dutch government will shortly decide to ban any export of the most advanced machines of ASML to the US and start shipping them to China. I wonder what that will do to the stock value of NVIDIA and the success of the AI-development programs of the big seven. It will definitely lower the pensions of many Americans. I wonder what they will vote next time!

WEF Puppet and tin pot dictator. I hope his people remember what he did to the truckers. \n\nTrump is putting his country first just like our wet behind the ears prime minister Two-Tier-Kier should be doing instead of spaffing our tax money up the wall. All of you who sat in London are a disgrace. You think you can wage war with Russia risk putting us into world war 3 and win, but I suggest, no longer are your screws just loose, but they have fallen out completely. The lunatics truly have taken over the asylum as they deliberately seek the great reset regardless of the cost of millions of lives. ?

Thank you, Canada! As an American, I am appalled at the hellmouth this administration that I did not vote for has dragged my country into. Nothing I see suggests to me that the people we've entrusted with enforcing our laws and our constitution will come through for us against this coup that has broken with democracy and simple decency. So you do whatever you have to do to protect the interests of your own citizens, and I will have to hope that ultimately it will help topple these monsters who have taken this country hostage.

Donald Trump, as a U.S. President, was not sincere. During his campaign, he falsely claimed that people in the U.S. eat cats and dogs, a statement that has no truth to it. After becoming president, he continued to use the issue of fentanyl as a justification for imposing tariffs on Canada. His actions suggest that he is not genuinely interested in moving the country forward but rather using tariffs as an excuse, which could ultimately harm Americans

Canada is not America's ally or friend. Ally/friend suggests equal partner. Canada is America's junior partner, a sidekick at the best. Canada blindly signed up for whatever war America was in, regardless of how ridiculous the war was, such as the 2003 invasion of Iraq. There is a simple solution to the trade war: join US as the 51st state and all tariffs will be gone. This is what Trump wants and he is serious.

I suggest that we all (all decent democratic countries) ban together and have that clown removed from office. Most American people are fine humans. Some are stupid and gullible, but most know that the USA is not an island and cannot be exist apart from the world.

I’m so ashamed of our country. This is going to cause global economy collapse. This is going to hurt everyone, and country, and corporations. Trump knows what he’s doing. He’s working with Putin to cause this- global plutocracy. Thank you for speaking truth to power. Maybe now, it will sink in to people. We pay, not ??. They are force to put tariffs on their goods, who do you think pays? This is ?, peanut butter, Aluminum foil, etc. I suggest start stocking up. In about two weeks increased prices will hit the shelves.

50% of Americans didn't want this either but thank you for wearing a suit so Trump can take your concerns and suggestions seriously. 50% of Americans are now fashion designers and follow blindly until our current administration policies effect them negatively.

Wow, this is an American President who can talk coherently. I suggest that Canada invites all US-American States who still have a sane sense to join the United States of Canada. I bet, the world would be in a better state if we had leaders like President Trudeau. Chose between a babbling and overtaxed old man and an intelligent man who makes sense!\n(Should I have made any spellings mistakes, it's probably because English is not my native language, so please hold back on your hatred you trolls out there. At least I speak other languages ;)

Thank you, Prime Minister Trudeau, for some clarity during these very troubling times. My hope is people in my country, the USA, will finally begin to listen carefully, and think about the ramifications of voting Trump into office again. Sadly, populist demagogues attract attention by suggesting easy answers to very complex problems. Or to put it more simply, by repeatedly lying.

Not that’s what we caught under a government working with your corrupted government. Now we are after drug dealers not helping them. We suggest you do the same. I think your percentage will go up under Trump. We aren’t looking the other way like Joe.

I would suggest not pissing off the Canadian people. They are quite people but when they go to war they are brutal. Just look at history. They are friends with all countries around the world. The commonwealth will not put up with this for long.

American here and wish our president was as sensible as Trudeau, problem is Trump is too stupid and Elon is too rich and controlling the U.S. which makes running this country a total disaster!!!\n\nImpeachment is not a suggestion it’s needed and needed NOW!!!! Republicans in elected positions step up and quit letting this country get dragged down.

JT has no idea, he can still go to Taylor Swifts concerts whatever the direct and indirect punishment the normal Canadians will go through with this tariff war. Even if JT gets a great deal from this, they won't trickle down to each of us because of all the corruption and inefficiency in the government. Suggestion is to have the newly selected PM's term for a probationary period so we can fire them if they suck. Thank you. Regards

Excellent speech! I believe that all US Tarif affected countries and regions should seek a closer economic cooperation. The world is much bigger than the US and I'm confident that there are other opportunities to be found. By the way, I watched an interview with Chrystia Freeland this morning. She had an interesting suggestion: put 100% Tarifs on Tesla cars. Excellent suggestion that caries a strong message the US government!

Despite:
\n
\n- Releasing felons and undermining the justice system,
\n- Picking fights with every U.S. ally,
\n- Suggesting NATO can no longer rely on America a direct gift to Russia’s strategic goals,
\n- Dismantling government institutions, weakening internal stability,
\n- Defying the rule of law and disregarding the separation of powers,
\n- Appointing loyalists to key positions, consolidating control,
\n- Leaving the U.S. vulnerable to Russian cyberattacks by scaling back security efforts,
\n- Siding with adversarial nations like Russia while alienating traditional allies,
\n- Smearing a democratically elected president at war pushing for a regime change that favors Russia,
\n- And systematically weakening global alliances, fracturing Western unity to Russia’s benefit,
\n- Ignoring the growing threat of Chinese expansion, weakening the U.S. position in global power struggles,
\n- Encouraging political violence and extremism, further fracturing the social fabric and putting democracy itself at risk,
\n- Turning a blind eye to the economic crisis, with inflation, rising debt, and an unstable market exacerbated by reckless economic policies,
\n- Chipping away at civil liberties, normalizing authoritarian behavior, and restricting freedom of speech.
\n
\nTrump is still your president.
\nAnd what does the U.S. have to show for it?
\n
\n- No strengthened alliances.
\n- No economic gains.
\n- No enhanced national security.
\n- No diplomatic victories.
\n- No solid foundation for the future just a nation divided, with its core values slowly eroding.
\n
\nEvery move seems to serve Russia’s interests while leaving America weaker, more isolated, and more divided.
\nAnd yet, there are no mass protests, no storming of the Capitol, no widespread political fallout. The U.S. hasn’t fallen in a blaze. It’s crumbling quietly, a victim of divide and conquer.

Not buying American if I can help it. Not spending a day’s vacation in the U.S. as long as MAGAts are running the show. Not setting foot in a red state ever again. All Governor Trudeau talking about a non-existent trade War these are just tariffs and in any way shape and form a war? Canada's military is so underfunded by Governor Trudeau Canada would almost certainly lose any conflict at ever thought with America or any tier one adversary, my suggestion Mr Trudeau you need to exit stage left and make room for somebody who has the courage to deal with the Tangerine bird

Suggestion: How the US/Canada would do on the leaderboard with Canada as 51st or 51-60th states? Although not politically correct, Canadian resources combined with US capital/investment. I think it would be an economic powerhouse the world has never seen before.

COMPLETE BULLSHIT. Trump is sending busloads of illegal immigrants from NYC and dropping them off at the Canadian border because that's cheaper than legally deporting them. This clown has them going the wrong way. They are counting the illegal immigrants Canada caught and is sending back to NYC by bus. MAGA idiots trying to make Trump the Frump look good.\nWhat these American geniuses should be looking at is:\nD. J. Trump has been a valuable asset to the Russian services for 40 years?\n\nAccording to former Soviet agent Yuri Shewrew, who moved to the U.S. in 1993 and obtained U.S. citizenship, Donald Trump was classified by the KGB as valuable services for forty years. Szłowie, former KGB Major, is currently one of the most important sources in Craig Unger’s book. “The American Comsar.” In addition to this thread, the book examines the president’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, a U.S. financier, who died in 2019.\n\nUnger claims that Trump first interested the Russians in 1977 when he married his first wife, Ivana Zelnickova, a Czech model. At that time, he became the target of a spy operation supervised by Czechoslovak intelligence in cooperation with the KGB. Three years later, when Trump opened his first major Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City, he bought 200 TVs from Siemon Kislin, a Soviet immigrant who co-owner of the electronic company Joy-People at Fifth Avenue. According to Szedema, Joy-People was controlled by the KGB, and Kislin worked as her agent and selected Trump, a young, growing businessman, as a potentially valuable intelligence.\n\nWhen in 1987. Trump and his wife visited Moscow and Leningrad for the first time, the future president held many business meetings, including KGB officers. According to the Sędzim, Russian officials who perfectly identified the narcissism of the interlocutor and his psychological and intellectual weaknesses led a real “offensive of charm”, flattered him and emphasized that his personality made a huge impression on them. They suggested that such a man should deal with politics, that only people like him can change the world. According to Szbla and Unger, Trump was the perfect target for recruitment in many ways, especially because of vanity and narcissism.\n\nTrump almost immediately “entered” a new role, i.e. “joyfully parroted anti-Western propaganda.” Shortly after his return to the United States, he began his efforts among the Republicans to nominate for his candidacy for president, and even organized an election rally in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. On September 1, 1987, he published a full-page ad-icing in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Boston Globe, in which, among other things, he accused the Alliance of the U.S. and expressing his skeleticism to the U. According to Trump, America should stop paying to defend countries that can defend themselves. Such actions caused real euphoria in the USSR. Trump has already made the same the same theses as president.\n\nTrump's victory in the 2016 election. The Russians accepted with satisfaction. Special investigator Robert Mueller did not detect a conspiracy between members of the Trump staff and the Russians, but revealed at least 272 contacts and 38 meetings with people linked to Russia. The storm told The Guardian that he was disappointed with the investigation because there were no counterintelligence aspects of Trump’s relations with Moscow. According to Unger, Trump was definitely an asset to the Russian services, and his book “will start where Mueller ended.”\n\nSource: The Guardian of 29.01.2021.\n\nMelanija Knavs [now Melania Trump] was born in Novo Mesto, Yugoslavia, now part of present-day Slovenia, on April 26, 1970. Her father Viktor Knavs first worked as a chauffeur, and he eventually sold car parts for a state-owned vehicle manufacturer as he made connections with the League of Communists of Yugoslavia, the national communist party.\n\nWhy do you think Trump is so anti-Ukraine? Putin also has sex tapes showing Trump with adolescent girls in Russia, and Trump also owes Putin billions of dollars.

When the US stops sending illegal guns to Canada, the cause of all LEGAL gun owners to have our guns banned, we'll stop sending drugs back to the US (cuz the US is sending drugs here too) and allowing terrorists from other countries to cross the border over to the US. At least you can pull out your handguns to fight the terrorists and immigrants off. We have nothing to fight the criminals carrying illegal guns that the US gave them to use here in Canada. The only ppl who could even suggest Canada is the problem without admitting their own failure to protect are ignorant ppl woth their heads up their own a**. That's your president for you. Good job to all who voted for that clown!

India is the source of 200,000 to 750,000 illegals (many fly in as visitors or overstay student and work visas) - it would take tens of thousands of flights to send them back. \n\nVia GROK\nEstimates of the number of people from India living in the US illegally vary depending on the source and methodology. As of mid-2022, the Pew Research Center estimated there were about 725,000 undocumented Indian immigrants in the US, making them the third-largest group after those from Mexico and El Salvador. The Migration Policy Institute (MPI) provided a slightly higher estimate, suggesting around 11.3 million unauthorized immigrants total in the US as of mid-2022, with India being one of the top countries of origin, though exact numbers for Indians alone were not isolated in that figure. However, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reported a lower number, estimating 220,000 unauthorized Indians in 2022, down from a peak of 560,000 in 2016.\n\nThese differences highlight the uncertainty in tracking this population, as methods rely on survey data, border encounter statistics, and assumptions about overstays versus illegal crossings. For context, US Customs and Border Protection recorded 90,415 encounters with Indian migrants at the borders in fiscal year 2024 (October 2023 to September 2024), indicating ongoing illegal entry attempts, though not all encounters reflect people who remain in the US.

Regardless of race/culture if your coming from a third world county that has no traffic laws, poor education with little to no English let alone money don't come here asking for hand outs well driving the cost of rent and car insurance up, you'll just end up on a 6ixbuzz post and be mocked. Would highly suggest move back to your country and deal with your government and maybe just maybe consider birth control.

Don’t they understand that being in the USA illegally could land them in Guantánamo Bay Cuba for cruel and unusual torture by the USA? Why on earth would they want to come into a country like the USA which is declining? There is no freedom or liberty here. The USA is still a master and slave economy just in different ways with white supremacist British Americans leading the master and slave relationships.\n\nThey should really stay in their countries and force renewal of those countries \n\nBut the US is dying, and the end of the USA is approaching. Clearly the British Americans, who are in charge see this and will either commit suicide of the country or commit mass genocide of the Americans while the British Americans escape. \n\nThe USA is no great place to be \n\nThe conversation in the USA is strictly between the white masters excuse me, the British ethnic white masters and their black slaves, who are basically wage slaves. \n\nThree chairs to the Mexican border patrol, and Mexican police trying to contain this massive crowd. \n\nI strongly suggest that businessman who are Mexican citizens who can manage soccer stadiums filled with these illegal immigrants help to contain this population of liberation seekers, and two persuade them into becoming citizens of central or South American countries or of other countries, such as Eurasia, Africa, Australia, and such where they probably would have a better Sense of stability, especially in mainland, Europe, but not the United Kingdom, which is the troublemaker behind each of their countries problems
