You wont find Tamel who has lived in Canada more than a year in a gang, or with a thick as lard accent, or speaking their previous language in public. They are good people, very respectful.

I’m a recent Indian immigrant and I’ve lived in Singapore, Malaysia, the USA, and now Canada. I’ll admit that a lot of what’s said here is true: there are far too many cases where Indians abroad show a lack of civic sense, break rules, or behave in ways that don’t respect the host country.  Personally, my family and I have always assimilated wherever we’ve lived, respecting local customs, following rules, and contributing positively to the community and I hate it when immigrants don't assimilate into the local culture and reside in their own enclaves, I mean what was the point of emigrating then?? I truly value the peace and order these countries offer, and I want to give that back. Every community has good and bad examples. The responsibility is on us as immigrants to lead by example, integrate genuinely, and show that we can be respectful, responsible citizens. That’s how perceptions change for the better. It sucks that a whole racial group can be disliked because of some bad apples — and in our case, unfortunately, there are quite a few.

Hello i am from India if you don't want migrants then just don't give much visa easy

I wouldn't like immigration to my country too and seing my way of life change...but we should give credit to the Sikhs who feed people free of charge...i experienced their generosity way back in 2005 in London when my friend took me along to a gurdwara,my first time . They don't ask any questions, they just feed and you will see people volunteering their services at preparing the food and someone else serving you...at least, they give back to society unlike some of the filthy rich who just want to hoard more and give nothing back . People don't realize that the world revolves on kind people and their generosity. If everyone was greedy, there would be nothing else to hoard and you can't even take it with you when your life ends. I guess it's just a matter of perspectives and your life experiences !

Every one of you in Canada is an immigrant or descendant of an immigrant, so please don’t do to each other what they did to your grandfathers and grandmothers! This is why I desperately wish there was an actual Libertarian party to vote for in elections! There is a party, but they have not gotten enough signatures to be able to run yet, I don't even know if there is an office or representative in Ontario right now! I wish! Their policies (on paper) seem great, and geared more towards a 'Canada first'/'Canadians First' approach. They touch on a lot of topics and there seem to be a lot of things they want to change! But a government is still a government, they will be motivated by money regardless of any good intentions they may have. So if and when things change, WE NEED TO HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE! We as the citizens have the power to change things for the better! It's just unfortunate that I see so many people getting pushed down or ignored or hated because they are speaking their mind. Remember, Canada dosen't have laws like the US, our freedoms aren't as protected nor do we have the same freedoms they do (like owning and protecting your own property, or self defense!) We as people need to start being honest and expressing things instead of being terrified of the backlash (of which there will be in these times). The only way we can make progress is by deciding to get out of our comfort zones and standing for what is right! For the freedoms and protections we deserve! To make a future worth living for us and our children! It will not be easy, but when is change ever easy? I hope that one day I won't be terrified of the thought of bringing a life into this world and country. I hope I can be stable enough to be able to give my future children a decent life. But right now? I would never want to have children, things are too unstable and I don't want to bring a child into this country and force them to live a terrible life they never asked for! I desperately want to be able to keep hoping for a better future, a better country, and people who can enjoy their lives instead of constantly worrying and stressing about everything. It’s sad being a born Canadian and watching the land I love turn into an income battleground. Nobody wants to hire someone with the thought of training. They want people with experience but won’t give the experience to those who lived here and need it. They’d rather hire someone from somewhere else that has experience and then fails to follow through as the born and raised person given the opportunity would. The amount I’ve seen white people fight to work and work fighting to keep their job burning themselves out when they’re easily replaceable by someone for a fraction of the cost and needing 3 people in their place since most immigrants are extremely lazy, especially after getting the pr. I’ve watched so many eastern Indians start to work full time. Hardly do anything until they get their card then drop off the map of actual work being done only to move to Ontario. Meanwhile I apply to countless jobs and don’t get one call back in 2 years with experience. Don’t even get me started on housing..

I like you & your attitude about coming to Canada. I’m subscribing. I feel for the young girl looking for a job. There are tons of jobs on indeed in my city. I apply for both part & full time. I apply for at least 10-20 a day. I’m not getting calls for interviews. I’ve even applied twice to one job because I was not chosen but 2 weeks later the same position was back. I’m fortunate enough to not have to work. I have a husband that makes a very good salary that pays for all of the bills , groceries & vacations. Up until Covid collapsed my 2 franchises & I was sinking more money in than making it I had to sell one for 1/3 of what I paid for it & give the other away. I started a small business at home doing lash extensions. I have my regular clients. But if I want to save my own money it’s not sustainable or steady. I want to work because I enjoy leaving my home not to just go grocery shopping or visit family. That’s even if they are home from work. I like having a purpose. I’m skilled in accounting, cleaning, sales, marketing, customer service you name it. Many might say that I’m very lucky. I am very blessed but it’s also very lonely. Plus I have always worked & had independence. I hate asking my husband to send me money so I can pay my cell, credit card bills. I don’t even go shopping without him for new clothes because I rely on him to pay for those too. Hypothetically we broke up tomorrow I’d be screwed. I worry about if he dies. There’s life insurance but we still have a mortgage to pay & monthly bills. Plus of course I’d make sure his kids got some too. Not to mention I’ve had mental health struggles with social anxiety & agoraphobia years ago. The more I stay home the more I get anxious about going out. Days can get boring & then I find myself napping all afternoon. I need a job. I just want my own money. I don’t want to go to my husband every 3 months & ask him to send me 2000.00 to clear up my overdraft for one business day. I don’t even want to have to use it. Sorry for the rant but I feel that even when filing out applications many times I’m asked if I’m racialized. In other words is my skin brown.

As a Canadian, I am so sick and tired of being told that i have this bullshit nonsense, non-existent " white privilege," which is a load of shit. I am terrified for my little girl when it is time for her to get a job because my little girl and I are white, so we are put at the bottom of the list for being employed. And on top of that i am expected to bow down and not have a voice or an opinion about anything when it comes to immigrants and that because my daughter and i are white so we are automatically considered to be racists colonizers and forced to pay the price of something that happened long before i was even born and had nothing to do with just because the color of my skin . God gave us all our skin color and made us all . I had no say with being born with the color of my skin. Canadians of all colors and cultures are suffering so badly because we brought in so many immigrants who demand we change everything and pretty much bow down to them and told that we all have to change . Stop trying to change Canada and the Candian people . I refuse to bow down to anyone who tells me that i dont matter, and my opinion doesn't matter because of my skin color and because i am assumed to have bs white privilege. Totally agreed. If you want to maintain your culture then do not migrate. But whose fault is this? Canada and some other western countries give too much freedom to immigrants to do whatever they want. So people started keep practicing their own culture instead of adopting the Canadian culture. It's not their fault. That's human nature. Government should have controlled the immigration not letting large ethnic groups created within Canada.

I agree with the these people's comments regarding the immigration issues. I've been Canadian for over 50 years and this is the worst I've seen or experienced here in this country. Why are we as major tax payers are forced to finance the lives of these people who are only here to take from us, not give back in any way for us who supported them coming in to feel it's been a good decision made by our government, from our pockets. They do also bring their war, stealing, lying, scamming with them, creating more division with us who were living peacefully before. There's so much more that I see and experience now, that makes me want to leave, and it shouldn't be me who leaves home for others who have no good intentions.

I am not racist in any way shape or form- my grandfather was in Germany and he was on the Beach in Normandy. He saw his friend die in a foxhole beside him and my grandfather came home with shrapnel in his leg. His suffered all of this to give us our freedoms and a safe place to live. One of my uncles would never speak his language - Italian in front of anyone that didn’t understand it. I asked him why not? His answer was simple “its’s a rude!” Such eloquence from broken English. I am Catholic I pray at home or at church in my car out on a walk! I am disabled - if I was not married I would be living on the street. Students immigrants are given better housing and more money to survive on than me - who was a part of this workforce and a taxpayer from the age of 12 I have had some sort of job until I was injured at work. We aren’t racist we are fed up, abandoned and disgusted with out social safety net being handed out to others who do nothing but complain that it’s not enough! I just want to be able to survive in my home country - the country I have paid taxes into all my life. Is there another country in the world that puts itself and its people last as Canada does??? I really want to know. Where could I move and be treated as a Canadian immigrant is treated here???

People believe it’s because of an “aging” population they let migrants come in???🙄 No, they are. It allowed to work in academic fields. Period!! It’s not about filling jobs it’s to create unrest among the population in order to usher in the New World Order! If it were about an “aging” population it could be helped with giving incentives for young couples who want to start a family.

Without immigration Canada would fall... Canadians on their own do not have enough children to sustain the numbers to keep our economy stable. That's why the process is supposed to take awhile, have checks and applications, so we are not just bringing in people, we are bringing in a sustainable number of people that will embrace being Canadian. We need to continue that. What we don't need is an influx of people who have not gone through the process, who do not understand they are being giving an opportunity to join us, and who are willing to be Canadian. No one wants to strip people of their history, but if you are leaving your country, you are doing it because you want something better, something different... the only way you get that is if you embrace where you are, not try and change it to what you left.

Stop immigration for 5-10yrs and hire a dept to verify ALL student visa, biometrics, overstays, etc. Start a dept to do surprise visits to all work establishments for documentation of all employees. Stop giving money away to refugees unless 100% verified to be actual refugee. Don't bring your culture to another country if you left your country. When you leave you adapt to the countries way of life. Canada is not for you of you cannot respect Canadians way of life.. We don't want your cultures, we already have our own Canadian way of life.
