Please don’t say ‘they’. Say ‘Trump’. Most of us don’t want this either…. Most of us understand how stupid this and do not understand the thought process of this dictator that somehow got back into office over here. He is embarrassing, uneducated and will hurt our country with his ridiculous rhetoric, lack of vocabulary and bullying tactics with our allies. It is inconceivable for many of us. I appreciate your every word. I wish you weee our president. Please know ‘We the people’ on both sides of the border are going to hurt from Trump’s stupid unfathomable decisions. I hope you can look through and see past the people here or not on the side of the decisions being made and know that once Trump is out Office, we can establish our ties with you and continue with the friendship we’ve had for so long and create agreements to profit both countries and caused the least of services in the most stability for each other. It’s a shame for what is happening and completely unnecessary.

I wish America had a leader like Trudeau. Imagine a government that actually says it wants to help its citizens during this challenging time in the world. Versus Trump and Musk cutting government programs that help vulnerable people survive.

Trudeau is the reason that freedom is vanishing from Canada. He openly admires the Communist system of China (social credit system). He has destroyed the economy of Canada all by himself. He is desperate to destroy freedom of speech and punishes all who oppose him. Please remember what Trudeau did to Canadians during the PEACEFUL trucker protest in Ottawa. He froze bank accounts for Canadians who stood by the truckers. He inposed some of the harshest lockdown measures in the world during the pandemic and he abolutely HATES democracy. Have you forgotten his blackface scandal as well? This is the face of an absolute TYRANT pretending to be a crusader for fairness. Don't forget his total ripping during the UN speech he gave about 2 years ago when foreign UN representatives tore into him for his open tyranny against Canadians. His security thugs have assulted journalists simply for asking him honest questions about the Canadian economy and now you are swayed by a suit wearing mobster. He protects terrorists across Canada while simultaneously arresting Canadians for demanding their freedom to be restored. This guy is a THUG in an expensive suit and nothing more. It's nausiating to see how quickly people forget and how easily they are swayed by a bandit in an expensive suit. WAKE UP. Trudeau is the face of evil and you admire him. Nausiating.

Drug addicts will find some drug whatever it takes. The US should make their country livable for people if they wish to decrease drug abuse. Not that Trump actually cares about any common person, it's just a narrative to incite hate and engage in bullying.

Mr. Trudeau, As an American who has never voted for Trump, I apologize for the person we currently have in the White House, and wish Canada and Mexico the best. Do what you have to do, and hopefully it will cause enough disruption that Trump will have to retreat. Most of us consider Canadians and Mexicans our friends. A lot of people in the US are contacting our representatives in Congress, participating in economic boycotts, and joining groups like the ACLU that are bringing lawsuits against some of the actions that have already occurred. We have friends and family in Canada. I was in Toronto this past weekend. The friendliest and most decent people you will find anywhere. The reason for this is Trump wants industry back in the US, and as long as people buy things from outside of the US cheaper, that's not going to happen. Thus the tariffs. That's what they're for, protectionism. Why he pretends it won't be bad for americans or that they won't be paying more for products, I don't know. Perhaps his way of preparing people for bad times. Or the wishful thinking bit he swears to. Whatever. But what sane person would build up an industry predicated on Trump being consistent and willing to stay the course? An industry that would fall apart like it's 1920 the moment tariffs end? I predict noone.\n\nI have some experience with Clark, he was an insightful man during his command in Europe. It should be concerning when he can't see a reason for these actions, for cozying up to Putin and alienating allies. There's no end goal here that is in the US' interest. Trump's cabinet is not interested in this sort of thing, they are domestic dilettantes. There is no 4D chess. So what is the deal? Is it just his anger at Zelensky for not investigating Hunter Biden during the election? It seems... a bit too much for that, despite Trump being known as extremely spiteful.

I would not want to live down there with the pervasive American attitude. I thought my American friends were lovely people, but then we went to a restaurant together. I was flabberghasted by how they ALL spoke down to the waitress, as if she was beneath them. You can pick out the American tourists here, by how they talk to service people. I wish I could say this was a stereotype, but i live in a tourist town and see it every day.
