I always wonder why people in US even care. Like, okay, you need to enforce law, yet I think that it mostly because people assume it spike up crime, exacerbate housing crisis (which is not really caused by immigraiton), which is presumptions. Guys, immigrants maybe enter illegally, but they not necessary villains.

You can’t have ICE ran by a guy who’s going to make it intentionally difficult\n\nAnd yes they shouldn’t get “due process” because if you take away the very weak standards they had to let people in in the first place and pass their court hearing, they shouldnt get past.\n\nDid you know legal immigrations have to pass a physical and they require a whole host of vaccines and even - so far - 2-3 shots of a covid vaccine depending on type. They even require a yearly flu shot! I hope they take that requirement away soon. No one is talks about mandating LEGAL immigrations have to get the covid vaccine. But the point is ILLEGAL immigrants aren’t expected to any of these. \n\nNot to mention that legal immigrants, but presumably not TRUE Asylum seekers, have to pay THOUSANDS of dollars to get a green card. \n\nGee I wonder why so many legal Latino immigrants would be pissed that the had to work so hard and pay so much, and these assholes let millions of the 3rd world in with so little requirements that tens of thousands of violent criminals were let in. So much so that Venezuelan gangs were able to take over multiple apartment blocks and hold the occupants hostage and demand “rent” from them.

You love trumps border policy yet you have relatives who have been in the US for over twenty years without a green card and you wonder why they hate your guys. You have gone maga on your own blood. Shame on you. Why don't you help them become legit citizens. Instead you support a man who will send them packing if he wins.

Governments are lying to potential immigrants. I work with a guy who said he was told that his qualifications would be recognized when he landed and to not worry about anything. Upon arrival he applied for a job in his field and was told that his qualifications were not recognized. He was then told that he wold have to complete the equivalent of 4 years night school to receive accreditation. He wonders why he came but cant afford relocate back to his original home since it was sold and they used everything to come to a western country. He wasnt prepared for the cost of living and is now stuck in a country even he doesn't want to be in.

As an Indian student, i would like to share with you my perspective \n1) you will never see me dancing in public, blasting music and littering \n\nI actually spend my sundays cleaning plastic from trails \n\n2) i am a full time student for 4 years funding over 90 grand for a bachelor on top of that paying my taxes and paying 1100$ a month for rent being limited to 24 hours a week I do not work outside campus I work the job the college provided to me \n\nThe problem comes up when people use the 1 year and 6 month diploma program to enter the country and work here full time \n\nThey associate themselves only with indians mainly because they cant speak the English language fluently \nTherefore they associate with the exact people they associated with back home \n\nHow will they adapt to a new country if they hang out with the same people \n\n\nI came to canada with a goal \n\nTo make Canadian friends \nLearn about Canadian culture \nStart a new life \nAnd work my ass off to get my degree \n\n\nMost people move here to make more money \n\nThey sell their land and do so \n\nPlease do not associate hard working indians who adapt and leave their past behind with these people who have come here purely to exploit the system\n\n\nTrust me I know it's hard to hear this but good Indians do exist. I have so many Canadian friends who love me as much as I love them. One thing never mentioned in the video is that the type of immigrants being brought in now, they are not the same as the old immigrants. Back then, the immigrants were actual skilled workers and builders. Now they are all uber eats guys, or they live off the government. There is a very very big difference between the quality of immigrants that was not mentioned, but needs to be brought up. The immigrants from europe did wonders for Canada. The same cannot be said about the Somalians and arab peoples and this new batch of indians, etc etc

As a Canadian I’d like to say that our “Leader” and all his wisdom hasn’t only hurt you guys with this situation but he has been ruining our living conditions for nearly a decade now, we are trying to get rid of him and hopefully the new guy that’s embarrassing him will make things right. Just bring them to California I live in California born and raised here, I am 63 years old. Let me tell you something about life in America for an average person not a rich person not a person with privileges. Just an average guy can’t afford to live here. The cost of living is out of control. Have you seen the cost of rents in California, have you seen the cost of The price of a house have you seen gas prices? Have you seen food prices but yet our wonderful governor Gavin Newsom insisted on a raise to $20 an hour for fast food workers and pizza delivery drivers so what did Pizza Hut do? They fired all their Pizza delivery drivers. I just put that in there because nothing makes sense, this is the only thing that makes any sense. You either have money or you don’t have money.\nSee you later that’s it. Bring them to California. They’ll fit right in. There’s nothing but immigrants here now anyway.

I’m Indian and I will be damned if I say I agree with you. This shouldn’t be allowed. Follow the rules. This mob culture has to stop. I work my ass off and I can’t get by. My industry went on a strike for a year and I couldn’t get a survival job. These students can move from one province to another any time they want. How is this possible. Isn’t there any law to prevent them moving from the place they came to “study” in the first place and move to another location just for PR? I waited two years to get my police verification done from all the countries I worked before my immigration application got approved. These days it’s like the immigration ministry is handing over permanent residency like candies. More over if I go to a shop ask for help I get answers in a language I don’t speak or follow. Why are we allowing this? Why can’t these guys speak English or French? Why am forced to learn Punjabi? If these guys want to create a ghetto for themselves why are they doing it here? Who’s allowing all this? What’s happening to those English language tests? I don’t care if they fulfill any of those departments that require eligible workers. Why do we have to import truck drivers and factory workers? I’m fed up with this and I wonder why Canadians aren’t worried about their country and culture and react like they do. I lived in Canada for over 20 long suffering cold years. My rent in 1982 in Kamloops for a large two bedroom appartment was 105 bucks a month. Then when I moved back to Toronto and got an apartment right on Young at Grosvenor our rent shot up to a tough 620 bucks a month (all utilities included) but I was making a lot of money so it seemed like the good life. I wonder how expensive that luxury high rise is today? Probably about $4500 per month would be my guess. Canadians don't like to talk of the negatives in Toronto, but I feel really sorry for some of my family still there. My mother in law broke her back. All they could do is give her pain killers for the four months before she could get penciled in for surgery. And that was before it all went to hell. It's nice to see so many shots of places that were once so much a part of my life, but in all honesty moving to the States was the best thing I ever did. It was in fact like an escape from madness. Now similar crazyness is here, even on the South East coast of the US. Time to look for another escape. Any suggestions?\nOh, and my friends cousin got murdered in the Jane and Finch area years ago. Just remember wherever you guys pick make sure that they speak the same dialect that you do otherwise you're going to have that learning curve of learning their dialects. It is different in a lot of places like learning to speak like the yemeni do is different than the Pakistani. So just keep that in mind. My grandfather is from Yemen and his wife who is my grandmother and my dad's side is from sudan. And they used to tell me it took them a while to understand each other. My Syrian grandmother on my mom's side would teach me words and phrases and my grandpa who was from Yemen would always make fun of me because I wasn't saying stuff right. I'm not really good at speaking Arabic but I can get by so just remember when you guys are picking somewhere to pick a place that won't be that hard to understand people. I'm only saying that because with the kids you guys send the kids to school they may learn a different dialect than what you taught at home and it will be a learning curve for them to try to understand. But I'm sure you guys will make the right decision. I just figured I would throw that in there I'm sure you already know that the dialects are a lot different and Arabic is a lot different in different parts of the world. People think Arabic is all the same and it's really different. Just like people who speak Spanish in South America speak different dialects on the Puerto Ricans just like people in Brazil don't speak Spanish they speak portuguese. Just a thing to think about. Egypt seems to be a pretty good place I have family that live in Egypt and they really liked it but I'm sure you guys will pick a place that's wonderful for your family and I can't wait till you guys know when we can see everything that you guys are doing in your new home Korean and I totally understand I am so upset the United States took the stand that they did with the genocide in Gaza and in the occupied West bank. Hey guys, been thinking about this for myself, born and raised in the US. A young 20 something, who’s been learning about other cultures and Islam. I’m also not pleased with the direction my country is going in and was wondering if there are any places anyone in the comments have any good recommendations?
