I have been to Canada. Its a wonderful Beautiful nation and its people are some of the coolest in the world. I live so Close to Canada I am sorry We are doing this to you. and the Great Canadian's. I am incensed and angry right now. I want to just leave and defect to another country. I can not Stand the Hideous evil Man Trump And his lackey sidekicks Musk and VD Vance. They are destroying this great nation. Why the military has not stepped in here. Only shows its Cowardice and weakness to follow its own oaths to the nation and its people. Trumps first term was a nightmare. This Term is horrifying. And its killing people. Soon there will be Farms/Camps. Then worse things will come. In Advance There are those of us who are sorry now. Many of us do not have the ability to stop this. and we really really want too.

I guess USA citizens and Trudeau simply aren't getting it, Trump wants these tariffs because he WANTS to tax the heck out of the ordinary US citizen in order to pay for his tax cuts for his Billionaire friends.....Canada could have COMPLETELY stopped Fentanyl trafficking and Trump STILL would have invoked tariffs.....just like no matter what Zelenskyy could do, he was determined to make an EXCUSE to stop supporting Ukraine's war efforts.......in addition, if you didn't know better, it appears that Trump wants to team up with Russia......??????

The speech of Mr Trudeau, the way Canadians have shown solidarity for one another, today it all puts my country, The US, to shame. I am ashamed of what my government is doing and I am disgusted with the people doing it. In Mr Trump’s first term, as eclipsed as they were by the many many many actions and attitudes he imposed on us that embarrassed and hurt us as a country, there was the rare occasional decision I could at least understand even if I did not support it. Since taking office literally not one thing he has done has made sense to me as an American. I can only say how sorry I am for what the country I love is being used to do to you all, especially our closest allies and friends and in particular the people of Canada today. I grew up in Commerce Twp Michigan. I visited Canada regularly and, even as crime from Detroit poured across the border into Canada, Canadians always treated us with respect and welcome. I never imagined that would stop but now I find it hard to imagine how it might continue and it breaks my heart.

To all Americans, this is not personal but we are going to fight Trump's Tariffs with everything we can muster! We will take financial pain and deprive ourselves of AMERICAN products we love! Look at WW2 and you will see Canadians never give up! We almost never pick a fight but if forced, we will fight till the end! I used to think that the idea that Trump is a Russian asset was just a conspiracy theory. I am not sure of that now as how else to you explain why Trump is doing everything he can to undermine the USA? Why else would you cause a breech between the US and our allies Canada and Mexico? Why else would he destroy the infrastructure of our country through Musk and Doge? Why else would you stop all aid to Ukraine? Why would you stop cyber operations targeting Russia? Why would he set up an operation to humiliate the leader of an allied country fighting for its life against Russian aggression? Why would you send your vice president to Germany and have him insult our allies and not meet with the leadership of the country but rather meet with the essentially neo-Nazi Alternative for Germany? None of this--and many other actions--makes sense unless you begin to understand that Trump is actively trying to weaken our country to the benefit of the Russians. I know it is hard to believe but I can find no other explanation.

Remember when this same fellow froze protesters bank accounts and began collecting peoples weapons? Yet, he has the gull to talk about dictators. Trump actually wants to avoid WWIII and I hope what his administration does will bring an end to the war. Though, I do agree he should be more tough on Putin. That being said, I do agree that the crossings from Canada are not nearly as significant as compared to our southern border. It would be nice to see more from Canada in their investments to secure the border and stop crossings, cartel movements, and drug operations. The US has spent more than 409 billion since 2003 on such operations. Regardless, I feel for you Canadians and it sucks that it has come to this and I hope we keep strong relations in the future. Hopefully we can come to a fair deal soon. Mexico and China are the big players that do not do nearly enough to prevent these crimes. In fact, the Mexican government helps the cartels by not trying to stop them. China's lack of regulation on the ingredients to make fentanyl contribute to a large extent to this tragedy as well.

Now with 20% tariffs on China , the iPhone full import price $700 (sale price). is taxed(tariffs) x 20% = $140. Trump wants 20% corporate rate extended and ultimate 15% corporate rate. Most all the overseas US mfg might come home to moma. \nI would advise Trump to selectively wave tariffs on some items like lumber from Canada and food from mexico. As for oil from Canada I think Trump will let Chevron develop and buy heavy oil from Venezuela. If not might have to wave/reduce tariffs on Canadian diluted bitumen oil.

To the Americans who are outraged by Trump, you need to stand up and truly fight like the MAGAts did when they stormed the capital on Jan 6th. Trump told Canada if you did TWO THINGS, there would be no tariffs on Canada. One, stop illegal immigrants from pouring into the USA from Canada. Im not so sure of the info coming across. Ive seen staggering numbers of immigrants coming north from the US into Quebec and Ontario for a number of years. Quebec had to set up shelters and programs to accommodate how many were coming up into Canada. Watching the RCMP helping them come into Canada, taking their luggage and guiding them Those officers should be charged with being an accomplice to a crime.. that would stop the police from helping bring them in... Maybe it changed and now they are going south?.. but getting to Canada isnt as simple as coming up through warmer weather countries and going south in Winter would be a major issue through snow and weather. And now that a president who puts the US first comes along everyone acts like America and our president is in the wrong. Just because something wrong was allowed to happen for so long that doesn't mean it was right. So two things these tariffs will do to Canada. One your economy isn't exactly stellar right now. Two Trump just has to pump up the pressure further and Canada will fold. It's that simple. As for Mexico they are squarely attached to America's teet. They need us WAY more than we need them. They will fold. And during negotiations we will make them ok US military operations on the Cartels. All people see is the word tariffs and don't think about the strategy behind them. Tariffs are a tool to apply pressure and gain leverage. Canada and Mexico would do the same if they could. So lets stop with the pearl clutching.

You can BET THE FARM if Canada and Mexico join BRICS China, Russia, and other countries will be invited to set up shop right on the Rio Grande in the South and Niagara Falls on the Northern border of the United States. America will LITERALLY BE SURROUNDED. If Panama feels threatened they will join BRICS for protection as will Greenland and every other nation on earth INCLUDING other international port locations. This is a disaster of BIBLICAL proportions to the US economy if the US loses the privilege to be served at just a couple of the strategically placed locations. This will hyper accelerate the balance of WORLD POWER from America to The BRICS GLOBAL MAJORITY and completely dismantle the influence of the UN. THEY WILL SANCTION AMERICA!!! Even Israel would abandon America once that happens because the money source would dry up in less than a couple years. BRICS now OUTGUNS America in GDP, PURCHASING POWER, AND MILITARY STRENGTH! They're are nearly 70% of the WORLD POPULATION (and growing) which means a draft is virtually GUARANTEED if ww3 erupts.
