Vulnerable young people from abroad are being drawn into exploitative labour conditions. Many have sacrificed everything just for the chance to come here—sold a vision of the Canadian Dream, only to find themselves trapped in bondage. And now being tossed away.

The great tragedy is that small town Canadian students who wish to seek opportunities in large cities, will never be able to afford to rent let alone buy… They are doomed to live in their small towns and hold on to small dreams… Here in Vancouver, the new immigrants wish to stay in and invest in large urban areas. They have extended family support to buy the real estate. Small-town Canadians don’t have a chance in this competition.

I got rejected 18 times and almost lost all hopes and wanted to quit. Then I stumbled on a Reddit post about MalkocEdi, a guy who helps with visas. I called him and he told me what he needed from me, and from there, it was like a dream come ture. Got approved and now I’ve lived here for over a year, and thanks to God, I’m finally happy and secured.

At least the immigrants are coming by legal method, but the early arrivals they just stole it by killing the natives.

My dream is that Canada would join the United States to create a super power like no other. But I don’t agree with how Trump is trying to force their hand. God bless EVERYONE.

Trump is (clinically) a malignant narcissis. Hi personality needs to be fed by a constant flow of accolades from his chosen lackeys. Unfortunately, i think that trump (he does not deserve un upercase) dreams of becoming like putin. All that he is doing, everything in his language and actions screams dictator. I think that putin dreams of having the entire Europe to himself and that trump will actually want everything around the USA which includes ofc, Canada. That was their deal. I don't understand why americans are standing by just watching things unfold. It will not get better, this can only and will get worse. Sooner than they think they will find themselves trapped under these people, with no rights. It is really hard when you are already there to actually go back to democracy.

As a Frenchman, I can’t find the first bit of explanation, nor logic, in Trump’s strategy - if we can even call it strategy. The US will be the biggest loser in this situation, but Trump and his mini-Trump (Vance) will eventually find a way to explain that the US misery is the product of malign states. With Trump at the top, the US is going to lose its mind once and for all. I can’t believe that I once seriously thought about becoming an American citizen… the American dream is now COMPLETELY dead.

I effectively spent a chunk of my childhood in America with relatives. I treasured these memories, but now all the feelings of wonder and happiness when thinking of my visits to America have faded. You have essentially been taken over by a global entity that doesn’t care about democracy. We are going to manufacture our own weapons to have zero dependency on America. That makes no sense to buy weapons from the country threatening to invade you. \n\nHow will America feel to be totally alone in the global stage all under the power of one unstable man with multiple personality disorders. Trump things Putin is Americas friend and meanwhile in Russian media America spoken of as enemy number one. Meanwhile, America is 30% full of people with such little education in politics that they do not even know what is considered red flags to democracy. The 20% needed to shift will see the light once the worst man made intentional recession begins and the billionaires buy up 30% of your homes and buildings. Nothing at all will be outside of billionaire and corporate control and now all your data is in AI. how did all American value fall in just one month. I live in Romania and I grew up under Communism. I hope I am wrong to do so, but I really feel that as far as the USA is concerned, we are already sold to Russia. Again. POTUS is no longer the leader of the Free World and all of our hopes and dreams about the mighty US being a friend and a guardian angel against the evil empires are dead. I think finally Canada realized that if they have friend like US then they don't need any enemy. You can't trust US at all and need to start open your market for global trade. I am glad that finally this happened cause sometimes you need a slap on face to wake up from a cozy bogus dream. Yes it will be painful few years for Canada but when time will come for fresh water and Arctic resources, it will be payback time to US.
