I hate that the conservatives are pushing Trudeau out, he's Excellent and one of the BEST statesmen our country has ever had and I feel like we need him in this awful situation. I will put his name on my ballot and vote for him again. ??

Trudeau speaks well for a guy that’s about to be voted out. Canada’s next leader will be conservative, and I bet he will work well with trump.

Donald wants to hurt Canada so they vote out Justin because he hates Justin. He want conservatives in Canada to come into power so they can bend over in front of Donald and ultimately destroy Canadian economy and the US can take possession of all of Canadian resources. American here, an actual conservative who never voted for Trump. Canada should immediately turn off the oil to stick it to Trump, and people everywhere should boycott Tesla permanently. The conservative wing of our government is scared of Trump. I voted blue and moved from a red state over to a blue state because I don't agree with conservative republican views. I especially didn't want Trump back in office because I thought he was horrible the first time. My heart sunk after the election because I saw this coming. I'm hoping for some sort of impeachment because dealing with Trump for 4 more years seems unfathomable.

There's many reasons not to like Trudeau up here in Canada, many of which are the reason he'll (rightfully) no longer be the PM next week. As a conservative I hated him for SNC-Lavalin (among other scandals), and the fact that his inexperience with the economy Harper left him is probably part of why this trade war is going to hurt more than it could have, and the fact that he's often been kind of a phony more concerned with looking and sounding good for the press cameras. Not this time. Nothing phony here; I've got to give credit to him for capturing the national mood pretty much perfectly with this speech. Good on him. \n\nAnd congratulations as well to Donald for pretty much handing the Liberals their best shot at a fourth term, too. What an absolute idiot. Normally I'd turn my nose up at having to vote Liberal, but I am so, so sick of the brand of empty populism Trump stands for that it looks like that's what I'm gonna be doing come election time.

I never voted for Trudeau, but it is hard not to admire him after this speech. He makes Trump look just like he is.. an old, ugly, out-of-shape, and very, very stupid fool. We (Americans) don’t want this either. Musk and trump are illogically running rampant. We (a good portion of us) want them gone, this was clearly a mistake on us that voted (or didn’t vote). Canada will benefit with a strong 10 State influence within 60 United States governance affairs. Benefits are 10 more States on a balanced display welcomed as 10 white stars within the beautiful United States of America field of Blue of our Flag. Other countries will see North America’s Great Power when 60 glorious States, when combined, and working well together, communicating best when communicating with each other only in English, when English is the United States official National Language. No more Government waste of having multi language signage. So many good reasons why Canada’s 10 Provinces, with a mostly conservative thinking population of thinkers, should be transformed into 10 new United States States, not just one United States. Yes....10 more States that is the helpful way forward for the United States to have a very dominant conservative thinking population of United States Congress Political Leaders, resulting in a long term more stable United States Congress representing 60 United States, thinking more conservative, thinking more logical, thinking more common sense thoughts, thinking more capitalist job creation thoughts, thinking more tax cut thoughts, are just some of the benefits of having 60 United States of America States on  display, and functioning efficiently going forward for all the World’s Countries to marvel at.

My problem with the doom and gloom is people love to blame all our problem on the current PM and “wokeness”. I am not saying JT and the Liberals don’t deserve any criticism they do but all the time it’s for all the wrong reasons. Public Housing is a provincial issue, Healthcare is a provincial issue zoning is a municipal issue. However all of these issues are made worse by lack of public housing funding (looking at you Doug Ford) and nimbyism at the municipal level (looking at you Rob Ford and almost every mayor large Canadian cites have had). My parents hate JT now because property prices came down slightly but they loved him during Covid when prices went through the roof. When the liberals implemented the mortgage stress test they hated him and voted conservative in 2019 because Andrew Scheer went on the news and said he will get rid of it. When the liberals got rid of the stress test on first time homebuyers they loved the liberals again. They are property developers so they don’t mind paving over the Agricultural land reserve but god forbid a fourplex is built in our neighborhood. However I am not too cynical I have seen progress by the current government AFTER THEY WHERE -20pts in the polls. Now I just hope the Tories don’t get rid of the Housing accelerator fund and other funds that will make a impact in 10 years.

You can thank your wonderful Justin for this. Ontario keeps voting Liberal, and the immigrants vote Liberal. But it’s also happening in the major cities in Conservative provinces like Alberta. Lots of immigrants been landing on the cities and they’re voting in liberal city councils - who love spending money and increasing property taxes to pay for ridiculous initiatives “to attract more immigrants” !!!!!!

Canadians need a good shaking up. After the way the canadian government treated the truck drivers and what they are doing to their people with the carbon tax they need something to unite them and make them start using their common sense at the voting booth. In the 1960's Ontario was conservative and Quebec was liberal. When Justin Trudeau's uncle Pierre became PM he changed the rules of immigration in order to populate Ontario and Toronto with non-British, non European immigrants who would have no ties with their new country and instead worship and support the party that favoured them to harvest votes forever. Ive lived in Winnipeg most my life. Vancouver for a time. It was too tough in vancouver but winnipeg has been very chill. Also as a diabetic I'm greatful for healthcare I only pay for around 20% of my meds. We've talked about moving somewhere where rent is cheaper, meds are cheap and groceries are affordable. But I've never found such place...I stay because the people here are amazingly empathetic, yet very strong. Its sad to have a liberal government that have conservative policies for the rich. Itd be nice to vote NDP for something different.

People commenting here fail to realize that Latinos are arguably more conservative than the white men they love to hate. Those who voted for Trump did so because they are legal immigrants/citizens, aka, Americans. Aside deportation of ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS benefiting them directly, they are also not down with the other Democrat platforms like Abortion and Trans/Gay advocacy. I'm pretty sure that the govt have done an immigration freeze before. Many applications were just halted and nothing happened for several months. This was a decade or so ago.\nBut yes if Stephen Harper was stupid enough to increase the immigration numbers then we know who to blame - the Conservatives!! \nSO DO NOT VOTE for the Conservatives. They just want money - Taxes. That is all. They will probably also increase the numbers again for more new taxes. \nRemember Conservatives = Trump. These people act like Trump. Greedy for Power and Money. This also means Doug Ford as well!! \nTrudeau should also have cut back these numbers ASAP during and after the Pandemic. Someone did not advise him very well at all. \nI do agree that Trudeau needs to do another freeze and not accept any new applications for at least 6 to 12 months, in order to process those applications already in the system.\nTrudeau then needs to severely cut the incoming numbers back to 200K like they used to be. And then keep it to that level!!
