The fact that this clown thinks we give a sh is hysterical. So it’s ok for Canada to pay 1.3% gdp towards nato while we pay 60% and put ourselves in debt to the tune of one trillion dollars a year TO PROTECT THEM. They tariff us double or triple what we charge them but that’s supposed to be fine. Canada is a government that doesn’t give af about this country or the clueless people in this thread. i do not believe the American people want a President who will destroy our ties to the free World. the founding fathers of this democracy and the constitution would have placed Donald Trump and his cronies under immediate house arrest, stripped them of any authority, and taped their mouths shut while the government is reformed and the ties to the free world are re-established. He is a bully using our highest office to prove he is all powerful to do harm against anyone below the office.

Trump and Maga are like any crazy regime, absolutely full of magical thinking and not based in reality. So 2+2 = 6 and if you don’t agree, you hate America. Shame they didn't care about fentanyl when it was killing people off in BC for years before spreading, thousands of people had died. Shame they didn't do anything about the corrupt government that enabled it and the money laundering. Hard to believe they care when so little effort or attention was shown to get the BC government at the time to be accountable. It doesn't help that with our current justice system it's practically a revolving door unless you're screwing over some established monopoly, people who cause real harm are out on the streets in no time. People who accept bribes and allowed the deterioration to occur will never be dealt with and I don't see steps going on to prevent it from happening again. I honestly believe Trump wants these tariffs because the 25% tariff will go directly into government coffers and he needs money to cover the huge tax cuts he gave his cronies and the wealthy. Unfortunately, Americans will be paying this 25% tax. No winners on either side.

The orange clown still does not understand how Tariffs work. It is evident he thinks it's a tax and when he sees the numbers in terms of government revenue accredited to tariffs, he ignorantly believes the country is making money. I’m am Ukrainian Canadian and over the last few days I see how the new US government’s policy ruining everything we all believe in so dearly: democracy, friendship, helping shoulder to those who needs support against the bloody dictators, and firing thousands of people without cause who provided cybersecurity, guarded fairness of your elections… all being flashed down the toilet. And I watch it being replaced with bulling those who is bleeding, stabbing the friends and neighbors, singing praise to the war criminals charged for crimes against humanity with unlawful deportation and transfer of 20,000 Ukrainian children into russia. Children?! And I want to ask you a question: will you be a silent bystander watching the world plummet into the hatred, redivisions of borders and the rule of heartless convicted “deal makers”? I think I know who he made the deal with... And to those who voted for him: do you still believe this will lead you and your country to greatness?? One single fact that both Moscow and Beijing celebrate watching what’s happening should raise your eyebrows and question your decision to bring this man into power. I feel sick, sad, angry, and scared with everything going on right now. As a veteran, my heart is absolutely broken.\n\nWe're stuck between a rock and a hard place right now. Donald Trump and his administration have been captured by Russia. Every single thing he does that seems not to make sense, which seems to hurt America, are directives from Vladimir Putin. He wants to weaken America and destabilize the West. And he found individuals willing to commit treason in order to do his bidding. I hope the rest of the world understands what has happened to the U.S. government. Many of us, who didn't vote for Trump, understood he was a Russian asset. Trump voters rejected this and believed his lies. The majority of Trump voters will soon realize they have been betrayed. They don't have to become Democrats to abandon Trump and fight against this Russian takeover of our country. We need them. We need the world's help.

I loved the speech of PM Trudeau- but one thing he kept saying is wrong. Our government did not do this - One man did this via executive orders. He does not care who he hurts. He does not care about the American people. Trump only cares about himself and his relationship with Mother Russia and Putin. TRUMP doesn't want peace. He is thriving on the chaos that he and Musk are initiating.
