Trumps own words, “Vote for me, you will never have to vote again!” \nThis one is showing up on several pages. Make up your own mind. \nThere is something rancid in America, a slow, creeping rot that smells like cold McDonald’s fries, aerosol hairspray, and the unmistakable musk of a country too sedated to recognize its own hostage situation. For years, the idea that Donald Trump was compromised by Russia was dismissed as paranoid fantasy—just another wild-eyed conspiracy theory, another overblown headline in the endless saga of American political dysfunction. \nBut now, two former Soviet intelligence officers—Alnur Mussayev and Yuri Shvets—are saying it outright: Trump was recruited by the KGB in 1987, groomed as an asset, and remains under Russian control to this day. \nAnd the worst part? He’s already back in the White House. \nThat’s right, America. You did it. You walked face-first into the banana peel of history, slipped, and fell straight into the arms of Vladimir Putin. Trump was kicked out in 2020, spent four years plotting his comeback, and now he’s returned, like a bloated, orange cockroach that just won’t die. The Kremlin’s favorite stooge is running the country again, and this time, he knows exactly how to stay in power. \nIf you think this is just another round of the Trump Show, you’re not paying attention. This isn’t politics anymore. This is treason. This is foreign subversion. This is a God forsaken coup in slow motion. \nLet’s break it down, nice and simple. \nAlnur Mussayev isn’t some Twitter conspiracy theorist with a tinfoil hat and a podcast. He’s the former head of Kazakhstan’s National Security Committee, which means he knows exactly how Russian intelligence works—because he was part of the system. And what he’s saying should make every American’s blood run cold. \nAccording to Mussayev, Trump was identified, recruited, and compromised by the KGB in 1987 during his first trip to Moscow. They saw him for what he was: a narcissistic, greedy, attention-starved buffoon who could be easily manipulated. The KGB flattered him, promised him business deals, and planted the seeds of political ambition in his empty little head. And from that moment on, he was their man. \nBut Mussayev isn’t alone. Former KGB major Yuri Shvets said the exact same thing in 2021: Trump was cultivated by Soviet intelligence because he was an easy mark—too stupid to realize he was being played, too egotistical to care. They saw him as a useful idiot—a man who could one day be nudged into power, a walking, talking Trojan Horse for Russian interests. \nAnd now? The plan has worked. Trump spent four years in office weakening America from within, got booted out, and now he’s back for round two. \nIf you had told the American public in 1962 that a Soviet-backed asset would one day sit in the White House, they would have burned Washington to the ground before letting it happen. But today? Nobody seems to care. \nThe media treats this like just another wacky subplot in the never-ending Trump reality show. Congress is too busy fighting over meaningless culture war nonsense to do anything about it. And the American public? Exhausted. Numb. Checked out. Years of scandals—Russia collusion, Ukraine blackmail, classified documents, tax fraud, sexual assault, an attempted coup—have fried the country’s brain like an overcooked steak at Mar-a-Lago. \nTrump has done the impossible. He has committed so many crimes, so openly, so brazenly, that none of them matter anymore. \nAnd now, with Mussayev’s revelation that Trump is an active foreign asset, we have finally reached the point where the biggest political scandal in American history is met with a collective shrug. \nThis is how democracy dies—not with a bang, but with a goddamn eye-roll. \nThis is the part where the skeptics start clutching their pearls. “Oh, come on,” they say. “If Trump were really a Russian asset, wouldn’t there be more proof?” \nTo which I say: Are you blind, or just willfully stupid? \nLet’s go through the evidence, shall we? \nTrump spent his entire first term doing exactly what Russia wanted. He attacked NATO, calling it “obsolete” and threatening to pull the U.S. out. He tried to blackmail Ukraine into manufacturing dirt on Joe Biden, because weakening Ukraine helps one man and one man only: Vladimir Putin. He pulled U.S. troops out of Syria, handing power over to Russian forces. He picked fights with Canada and Europe while cozying up to dictators. \nEven now, in his second term, he is more openly pro-Putin than ever. He has made it clear that he will not protect NATO allies from Russian aggression. He is actively dismantling America’s alliances, just as Russia planned. And while Americans scream at each other over whether Target should sell rainbow t-shirts, Trump is quietly selling the country to the Kremlin. \nAt some point, you have to stop calling it a coincidence and start calling it what it is: treason. \nThe United States is running out of time. If Trump serves out this term without being removed, America as a functioning democracy is finished. \nThe media needs to wake up. Enough with the “Trump fatigue” excuse. This is not just another scandal—this is the single greatest infiltration of American power in history. Journalists need to dig into Mussayev’s claims, demand declassification of intelligence files, and treat this like the national emergency that it is. \nCongress needs to subpoena Mussayev immediately. His testimony must be public, and every document he has should be reviewed. If there is proof that Trump has been compromised since the 1980s, the American people need to know. \nThe Justice Department needs to stop pretending that Trump is just another politician. If there is evidence that the sitting president of the United States is working in Russia’s interests, he must be removed from office and prosecuted for espionage. \nAnd the American public? You have one last chance. This is not about Republican vs. Democrat. This is not about taxes, gas prices, or whatever nonsense outrage is dominating the news today. This is about whether the United States remains a sovereign nation, or if we spend the rest of the century as a Russian client state with a golf course. \nThe sheer volume of Trump's corruption, the blatant nature of his crimes, the mountain of evidence that should have ended his political career a hundred times over—none of it mattered. He survived it all, not because he was innocent, but because he drowned the country in so much scandal that nothing stuck. \nBut this time, it’s different. If Mussayev and Shvets are right, this isn’t just another chapter in the endless Trump circus. This is the culmination of a decades-long Russian intelligence operation to install an asset in the White House. \nThere is no coming back from this. If America lets Trump serve out this term without removing him, then the United States as a democratic republic is finished. The country won’t collapse overnight. There won’t be tanks in the streets. Instead, the destruction of democracy will happen in slow motion—buried under lawsuits, propaganda, and corruption so blatant that people stop caring. \nIf America lets this happen—if Trump is allowed to complete his mission—then Putin wins. The West crumbles. And the people who could have stopped it will look back, years from now, and wonder how they let it happen. \nGood night, and good luck. Because if people don’t wake up, America is going to sleepwalk straight into its own funeral.

If Putin is a murder? Then so is America? So is Ukraine? So is Palestine? So is Israel? In the 1990 Middle Eastern war USA ? tried so diligently to destroy the WEAPONS OF MASS DISTRUCTION!! ?? killing so many innocent people calling them terrorists. What do we call this action? GODLY ? Everyone is trying to show their power through Global Politics that they are greater than others and trying to rule every country in this world before fixing their own. Trudeau has brought Canada to poverty in his so called successful 2 terms government. He should think before he talks or like Hitler he should rehearse his speech in front of a mirror before opening his mouth in public, it's a whole lot of crap coming out in public and losing his sane ability. ?

Donald is not smart, he's a dumb shit. Why do people keep talking nice to him or about him? He's an uneducated todler that got everything he has from his daddy. History will show that he was bankrupt in 2015. All this is happening because a felon tried to stay out of jail. And he was willing to sell everything in the world to whomever in the world, just to stay out of jail. Same with Elon Musk, it was getting harder and harder to sell fantasy technology to people. So why not buy a felon, and destroy USA for Chinesse and Russian money?

From an assumption that these and future tariffs will positively harm the US economy, just where does Trump go when the shit hits the fan (as it pretty much already has done)? How does he row back from the chaos he is causing and has caused. He doesn't retreat easily. I suspect that he will sack key members of his cabinet, effectively blaming them for this shift show, to try to save face. If the GOP ever grew a pair I can see impeachment in the works on the grounds of real and present harm to the US.

This guy is absolute idiot. America doesn’t need Canada. Canada needs the USA. This guy is a communist. Trump is trying to stop an endless war with casualties and this clown is trying to compare it to tariffs. And who is watching this clown show called CNN THE FAKE NEWS CHANNEL. Lol.

Please, Mr. Trudeau, please say that Donald Trump is the culprit, not America in its entirety. We are protesting the takeover of our country and will not cease trying to get rid of this administration that has hijacked our country. We too want to work with you and will support your actions as best we can. Your strong speech shows which country has a leader to follow. Thank you.

LMAO, Trudeau talking to us Americans like we have a say. WTF are we gonna do? Drag the Repubs out of the White House? No thanks. I appreciate having living quarters outside of Gitmo. These assholes need to just keep having a go at each other and leave us the fuck out of it. It's their show anyway. None of them ever follow our will. If they did, we wouldn't have charter schools and public schools wouldn't have been an absolute joke before Trump started trying to shut it down.

I dont get it why the Americans think that we should even have to spend as much as they do on military...the whole world literally despises them and is actively trying to think of a way to attack them, but it is a much different story when it comes to Canada. Im pretty sure 911 was an attack on United States, an event that Canada did not have to involve itself with, but guess what? We did. We lost our own brave countrymen and women in order to come to the aid of the United States. Maybe the next time they want help they should look elsewhere. We were also there fighting in world war 2 way before the Americans decided to show up as well.

Watching this is amazing. I'm no fan of Trudie, but right now he's doing alright.\nI hate to tell the Americans watching, we did try to tell you and personally I feel for less than half of your people. The fact that the blue leaning public had to so dumb as to use THIS election to show your dissatisfaction with Biden and Harris is leading many people around the world to wonder if America is even worth worrying about at all. How can you's be this stupid you're no better than the MAGA crowd.
2025-03-04 0
Because Trudeau is nice, and tried to get along and show respect, as usual trump thought he saw weakness. That's always a mistake.

This is the very beginning of the United States fall. this seems like Tyler Perry TV show the oval. Trump is trying to enslave the American people by disassociating other countries so the American people won’t have anywhere to run. He’s trying to be like Putin a dictator. Trump has to go. He’s not a smart businessman. He’s not for the American people.?????
2025-03-04 0
Trump tried to bully and blackmail Zelenskyy before, withheld help the Congress approved to get dirt on Joe Biden. It didn’t work and America impeached him. That “show” in the Oval Office was to bully him again……..it didn’t work……Zelenskyy is a hero. Trump is a zero!

Canadians love Americans, there is family on both sides. Why is Trump being COUNTER PRODUCTIVE ?\nthis is negotiating ? what is the deal ? SPELL IT OUT \ndon't try and fool yourself or anyone with verbal crap > show me the numbers on paper, give references from reputable sources in USA. We like and need clarity. Details. Transparency.\npeople on both sides of the equation are intelligent and need the REAL DEAL > not bull.\nIt smells like Trump has not spelled it out. Is it a flip or a flop day ?

I live in Vancouver and it has the largest open air drug market in North America. I can't recall Trudeau ever speaking about the Fentanyl pandemic so frequently. I worked with NPO's when they declared a public health emergency...hundreds were dying a month, and it seemed at the time that there was so little dialogue due to fear of public backlash for taking a stance on this issue.\n\nI'm not trying to get on a soap box here...but I'm just shocked. I could have given Trudeau a 5 minute drive through main and hastings in my 1998 RAV4 to show him how bad it is, and was...I wonder if he would have opened up this much?
2025-03-04 0
Trump’s fixation on fentanyl is a ruse. He’s just trying to show Putin that he’s a tough guy but he’s just a coward. He’s too stupid to see the bigger picture.
2025-03-04 0
Nice to see a leader standing up to Trump. Trudeau is showing leadership and trying to explain to American how tariffs work. It would be good if Trump understood the pain he will cause Americans. We need an adult in the White House.

Trump is just trying to be showing off but he is not doing presidential things. He is making people hate him for trying to be like putin!!!

DT? The American president who wants to be remembered as a “peacemaker”? And he starts a NEW WAR? Not with one country but with two and God knows with who else will he go after. Power and Money hungry fool. \nAmericans when are they going to wake up. D Trmp is NOT God. Constantly claims in every tv moment he REPEATS his prerogative that “no war would have started if he was in power 4 years ago” and he tries to get two wars stop with an special ‘noble peace’ title interest. Make it clear. Trmp is NOT God. And he is not smart as he claim he is. He uses fear to get anyone fear him. Millions around the world have no respect for this man. I don’t think God is actually happy with this man. He is getting old just like Biden and soon his cognitive will decline too. He is already crunching bending forward and can verily hold his head straight up and the bulge in his back shows he is tired. Will see him soon sleeping in front of cameras.

Trump is trying to bring back jobs particularly manufacturing jobs to the entire North America continent. This is what this is all about folks. Trump is trying to improve the job quality to all North Americans. Trudeau is a small thinker with a nice head of hair but real life issues aren’t a fashion show. Let’s learn the dynamics of the real issues together folks ????

Nothing blistering here. Just a pathetic attempt to hold onto what he has left. Canada has been trying to show Trudeau the door for some time.

What is he??? A child??? Trying to bully a grown as man who is just trying hard to support himself. Seriously i hope the guy didn’t take it personally because its not him, it just shows how the person behind the camera is low on humanity and a cheap human kind who has no value on this earth to be alive.

Wow, this guy is very intelligent, he puts some clips he loaded from news or the Internet and unloaded them here to bait the people. They are coming by the thousands but the video shows only a few people. First thing is, people crossing into the USA, it's not upto canada to stop them. If somone enters canada from the USA then its upto canada to stop them from entering, not the USA. If sombody crosses into USA then it's upto USA to block them..\n\nMost of the content in this video is false. People are always trying to cross into other countries illegally, but it's upto the other countries border security to stop them and send them back..\n\nWhat a lie about the bus waiting for these people at the crossing points. LoL...sure sure..\n\nIce is nothing but a reality show, very little reality but it's entertaining to watch because people think it's real. Lol...\n\nTrump used cheap labor to built his Empire. do you guys think he hired Americans to built his luxury hotels, casinos, towers etc? Heck no, he used these very same migrants he claims to be taking your jobs away from you. Guy soreads lies and speaks from both sides of his mouth. Think about it. If you have a business, are you going to hire expansive labor or cheap labour? If you wanna make BIG profits then you knkw who you'd be hiring. Face it. Migrants will do jobs that no one wants and they'll do it for a lot less. \n\nI got a roof put on my House for less then half of what i was quoted. Thanks to the hard working migrants. Take it to the bank, ICE is not created to deport big numbers of migrants back, its created to make it look that way. How would you know how many people they deported, oh yeah, becasue the orange men is going to brag about it and you'll fall for it. Much like this video.

COMPLETE BULLSHIT. Trump is sending busloads of illegal immigrants from NYC and dropping them off at the Canadian border because that's cheaper than legally deporting them. This clown has them going the wrong way. They are counting the illegal immigrants Canada caught and is sending back to NYC by bus. MAGA idiots trying to make Trump the Frump look good.\nWhat these American geniuses should be looking at is:\nD. J. Trump has been a valuable asset to the Russian services for 40 years?\n\nAccording to former Soviet agent Yuri Shewrew, who moved to the U.S. in 1993 and obtained U.S. citizenship, Donald Trump was classified by the KGB as valuable services for forty years. Szłowie, former KGB Major, is currently one of the most important sources in Craig Unger’s book. “The American Comsar.” In addition to this thread, the book examines the president’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, a U.S. financier, who died in 2019.\n\nUnger claims that Trump first interested the Russians in 1977 when he married his first wife, Ivana Zelnickova, a Czech model. At that time, he became the target of a spy operation supervised by Czechoslovak intelligence in cooperation with the KGB. Three years later, when Trump opened his first major Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City, he bought 200 TVs from Siemon Kislin, a Soviet immigrant who co-owner of the electronic company Joy-People at Fifth Avenue. According to Szedema, Joy-People was controlled by the KGB, and Kislin worked as her agent and selected Trump, a young, growing businessman, as a potentially valuable intelligence.\n\nWhen in 1987. Trump and his wife visited Moscow and Leningrad for the first time, the future president held many business meetings, including KGB officers. According to the Sędzim, Russian officials who perfectly identified the narcissism of the interlocutor and his psychological and intellectual weaknesses led a real “offensive of charm”, flattered him and emphasized that his personality made a huge impression on them. They suggested that such a man should deal with politics, that only people like him can change the world. According to Szbla and Unger, Trump was the perfect target for recruitment in many ways, especially because of vanity and narcissism.\n\nTrump almost immediately “entered” a new role, i.e. “joyfully parroted anti-Western propaganda.” Shortly after his return to the United States, he began his efforts among the Republicans to nominate for his candidacy for president, and even organized an election rally in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. On September 1, 1987, he published a full-page ad-icing in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Boston Globe, in which, among other things, he accused the Alliance of the U.S. and expressing his skeleticism to the U. According to Trump, America should stop paying to defend countries that can defend themselves. Such actions caused real euphoria in the USSR. Trump has already made the same the same theses as president.\n\nTrump's victory in the 2016 election. The Russians accepted with satisfaction. Special investigator Robert Mueller did not detect a conspiracy between members of the Trump staff and the Russians, but revealed at least 272 contacts and 38 meetings with people linked to Russia. The storm told The Guardian that he was disappointed with the investigation because there were no counterintelligence aspects of Trump’s relations with Moscow. According to Unger, Trump was definitely an asset to the Russian services, and his book “will start where Mueller ended.”\n\nSource: The Guardian of 29.01.2021.\n\nMelanija Knavs [now Melania Trump] was born in Novo Mesto, Yugoslavia, now part of present-day Slovenia, on April 26, 1970. Her father Viktor Knavs first worked as a chauffeur, and he eventually sold car parts for a state-owned vehicle manufacturer as he made connections with the League of Communists of Yugoslavia, the national communist party.\n\nWhy do you think Trump is so anti-Ukraine? Putin also has sex tapes showing Trump with adolescent girls in Russia, and Trump also owes Putin billions of dollars.

Don't trust the Canadian government, they pretending strengthening the controls on the border. They're just performing a show with rented helicopters to try to convince the U.S that they're doing a job. U.S authorities must survey them !

It’s all about getting illegals in to keep em in power. They know Americans r turning against their progressive failed and fraudulent policies. Been trying to get em the ability to vote and b counted as residents since it started. Seeing there slush funds r drying up recently it’s making them desperate to retain power. It’s sad that they hate one man so much and r so desperate for power and money that they’d rather crush their citizens than take care of them. They love spending ur money but not their own. Funny how progressives hate capitalism until they break out their own money. Voting has consequences. Just hate it for the people who stood up and fought back just for dirty politicians to do the voodoo that they do so well. I’d say show up to protest peacefully and make ur voices heard. They only have power because we gave it. Could u imagine if the majority of New York showed up to their doorsteps daily to demand change how beautiful that’d b. Americans standing by Americans demanding that there government take care of Americans. Just my thoughts anyway. ?????

For anyone feeling empathy for the people trying to force their way into our country, I can understand that, intellectually, but imagine this was your individual HOME. Imagine a family of 5, who you have never met before, shows up at your door and just pushes their way in, with every intent on staying there for the rest of their lives. No, that is not how immigration, or house guests, works.

As a trans person seeking to escape trump, what is the best course of action? I'm trying the proper route through the immigration process but with how rapidly things are declining in the states for queer people so is it better to take the asylum route or wait the process. I'm personally done with the states and have 0 desire to stay here or ever come back, however what shows that the exact thing happening here wont move it's way up north in the future?

All your reasonings for Indian not getting visas are invalid or self serving for your Indian middle class Angrezi viewers. \n\nIndia, as U say, in the aggregate is indeed rising. But Indians — both padh and unpadh — have NOT risen and are NOR rising in tandem with India’s rise. \n\nWe see it all the time in places where Indians live in large numbers as in New Jersey, Atlanta, Chicago, the Bay Area… …\n\nMany Indians, even techies with all kinds of information on their finger tips when they sit in front of their computer screens, are unprepared on the local culture, ethos and traditions and history, just because thay have a loooong list buddies and relatives in their e-Rolodex on the day they land here. Their lack of curiosity in the local land is astounding. \n\nSecondly, getting rejected for visa is routine in many countries. They don’t haveto give you ANY reason why they reject your visa, no matter how well placed or well connected you are in India. \n\nIn my own case, I graduated from UC Berkeley, a premier internationally known school with in engineering with a PhD in 1984. Decades ago. \n\nMy education at Berkeley was ENTIRELY on scholarships and fellowships and fee waivers. \n\nMy family was not the so-called urban middle class living in 1, 2, and 3 BHK flats in urban India., or of land lords or of mid level bureaucrats, or judges or in the Indian corporate babudom . \n\nWe were from what is called in the US as working class. In India the terminology would be more offensive, “lower class.” \n\nFor my graduation, I applied for my mother’s visa (my mother, who became a widow at 39, raised us under great difficulties with a meager pension of INR 350. She had not gone to school beyond 5th grade and she had no ancestral property, not even a red brick in her ancestral home. \n\nMy mother’s visitor visa was rejected and to this day — I am in my 70s now — it hurts me that she was not present when I received my PhD at Berkeley, one of the top-rated int’l universities. They rejected her visitor visa probably because she had nothing to show as her assets in her application. \n\nBut later. with me getting a job here as a research engineer in a large corporation, my mother visited the US five times. \n\nNot only that, even my older brother and sister in law got a ten-year multiple entry visitor visa when the came for my daughters wedding. \n\nThe point I am trying to make to your mostly upper middle class internationally well connected viewers is that visas are ALWAYS a privilege, never a right, no matter how well placed and well connected in your home country. And how well versed you are in Angrezi and how good you are in your Angrezi accent, partly British and partly Amreeki. \n\nKollengode S Venkataraman.

Trump says EU tariffs will ‘definitely happen’ as Mexico, Canada and China retaliate \nTrump takes softer line on UK, saying ‘I think that one can be worked out’, while Mexico and Canada vow levies and to strengthen ties with each other \n \nPhilip Wen, Léonie Chao-Fong and agencies \nMon 3 Feb 2025 03.57 GMT \nShare \nDonald Trump has threatened to widen the scope of his trade tariffs, repeating his warning that the European Union – and potentially the UK – will face levies, even as he conceded that Americans could bear some of the economic brunt of a nascent global trade war. \n \nIt comes as Trump’s tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China, announced on Saturday, sparked retaliation from all three countries. Mexico and Canada have vowed levies of their own while China and Canada are seeking legal challenges. \n \nTrump said on Sunday night that new tariffs on the EU will “definitely happen”, repeating previous complaints about the large US trade deficit with the bloc and his desire for Europe to import more American cars and agricultural products. \n \nEmpty shelves remain with signs ''Buy Canadian Instead'' after the top five US liquor brands were removed from sale at a British Columbia liquor store in Vancouver. \nAsian sharemarkets tumble in response to Trump tariffs \nRead more \n“It will definitely happen with the European Union, I can tell you that,” he told reporters. “I wouldn’t say there’s a timeline but it’s going to be pretty soon.” \n \nTrump appeared to take a softer line on the UK, citing a good relationship with prime minister Keir Starmer while saying tariffs still “might happen”. “The UK is out of line but I’m sure that one, I think that one can be worked out,” he said. \n \n“Well Prime Minister Starmer’s been very nice, we’ve had a couple of meetings, we’ve had numerous phone calls, we’re getting along very well, we’ll see whether or not we can balance out our budget.” \n \nIn Canada, the department of finance published a list of US products imported into Canada that it will target with a 25% retaliatory tariff starting on Tuesday. \n \nThe list shows products that will be hit in the first round of retaliatory tariffs by Canada starting on Tuesday, and mounts to $30bn Canadian dollars’ worth of goods (about US$20bn). The impacted products include tobacco, produce, household appliances, firearms and military gear. \n \nCanada is also preparing for a second, broader round of retaliatory tariffs in 21 days that will target an additional C$125bn (US$86bn) worth of US imports. Canadian officials have had extensive dialogue with their Mexican counterparts, but a senior Canadian official said he would not go as far as to say the tariff responses were coordinated. \n \n“Now is the time to choose products made right here in Canada,” Trudeau posted Sunday on X. “Check the labels. Let’s do our part. Wherever we can, choose Canada.” \n \nTrump acknowledged the sweeping tariffs he has imposed on Mexico, Canada and China may cause “short term” pain for Americans as global markets reflected concerns the levies could undermine growth and reignite inflation. Asian markets, cryptocurrencies and US and European stock futures slumped in early Asian trading on Monday. \n \n“We may have short term some little pain, and people understand that. But long term, the United States has been ripped off by virtually every country in the world,” he said. day, Trudeau said: “We’re certainly not looking to escalate, but we will stand up for Canada.” However on Sunday evening, a senior government official from Canada briefing reporters in Ottowa on condition of anonymity said: “We will obviously pursue the legal recourse that we believe we have through the agreements that we share with the United States.” \n \nThe official said the Canadian government considered the move by Trump illegal and said it violates the trade commitments between the two countries under their free trade agreement and under the World Trade Organization. \n \n“If other legal avenues are available to us, they will be considered as well,” the official said. \n \nCanada is the largest export market for 36 states, and Mexico is the largest trading partner of the US. \n \nCanada and Mexico ordered the tariffs despite Trump’s further threat to increase the duties charged if retaliatory levies are placed on US goods. \n \nChina also said it would file a lawsuit against the tariffs. The imposition of tariffs by the US “seriously violates” World Trade Organization (WTO) rules, China’s commerce ministry said in a statement, urging the US to “engage in frank dialogue and strengthen cooperation”. \n \nFiling a lawsuit with the WTO would be a largely symbolic move that Beijing has also taken against tariffs on Chinese-made electric vehicles by the EU. \n \nThe commerce ministry also said the tariffs were “not only unhelpful in solving the US’s own problems, but also undermine normal economic and trade cooperation”. China has said it would take countermeasures to “safeguard its own rights and interests”. It is not clear exactly what form these will take yet. But for weeks Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning has said Beijing believes there is no winner in a trade war. \n \nLate Sunday night, Trump said he would speak with Trudeau on Monday morning and shortly after said he would speak with Mexico as well, although he did not specify that he would speak with Sheinbaum. \n \nBeyond the official response, people were already thinking of ways to cope with Trump’s decision, including by sharing suggestions on social media for alternatives to US products. \n \nCanadian hockey fans booed the US national anthem on Saturday night at two National Hockey League games. The booing continued on Sunday at an NBA game in Toronto where the Raptors played the Los Angeles Clippers. \n \nFrom left to right, Toronto Raptors forwards Bruce Brown, Scottie Barnes and Chris Boucher react as fans boo the United States national anthem before NBA basketball game action against the Los Angeles Clippers in Toronto, Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025. (Frank Gunn/The Canadian Press via AP) \nToronto Raptors fans boo US national anthem after Donald Trump tariffs \nRead more \nOne fan at the Raptors game chose to sit during the anthem while wearing a Canada hat. Joseph Chua, who works as an importer, said he expects to feel the tariffs “pretty directly”. “I’ve always stood during both anthems. I’ve taken my hat off to show respect to the American national anthem, but today we’re feeling a little bitter about things,” he said, adding that he will start to avoid buying US products. \n \nIn the streets, people in Mexico were trying to absorb the announcement on Sunday, although some in the capital acknowledged that they were unaware of the measures. \n \nIn the border city of Mexicali, across from Calexico, California, some people were concerned about the wider implications of a trade war. \n \nDriver Alejandro Acosta says that he crosses the border weekly in his truck to deliver vegetables to US companies. He said he fears US businesses in the Mexicali Valley will no longer want to operate in Mexico and they will move to the US. \n \n“If they raise taxes on the factories here, jobs may also decrease,” he said.

I pray the USA can get rid of all illegal aliens out of our country. In the military, I was in different countries, so I had the opportunity to travel. Guess what I always had to show my passport and declare how long I would be in the country. Never once did I try to break their laws. When you are breaking the law, you should have consequences!

Trump is not going after the pharmaceutical industry to lower the prices of medications, he is not going after private equities that are destroying affordable housing and health care, he is not trying to make health care affordable, he hasn't lowered the prices of food ?? , he is not going to make the rich pay taxes BUT, BUT, BUT he is going after the most vulnerable people in the form of a SHOW to keep his voters from noticing what he isn't going to do for them to live with decency.

81 % of Transgenders have thoughts of suicide and over 40% have attempted suicide. Thus it makes sense to do careful vetting and psychiatric evaluation before allowing them to fly off 100 million dollar airplanes. CNN again tries to change the optics of the debate by putting “ the princess” on its show.

The Military is not a democracy. Quit trying to use it for social experiments.\nIf a person doesn't have enough dicipline to keep their sexual orientation private, they don't show enough dicipline to be a soldier.

If these people showed this much determination to find themselves something into there own country they wouldn't need to come here. We are trying to make our own country better for Americans and they should carry the same energy within their own borders

What do you expect, when you see Indians going abroad on tourist visa, and then overstaying and doing cheap labour. Indian tourists go to developed countries with zero civic sense, complete ignorance of the local culture and norms, the people there will obviously feel disgusted, 5th largest economy my ass. Look at the gdp per capita dear Palki. Nationalistic pride is good, but when you have nothing to show for it, empty pride doesn’t get you anywhere. Most people try to go in as tourists and never come back, then how do you expect them to give visas to Indians.

After CNN tried to talk bad about Trump for his decision to tariff Columbia... I wish bias media would just let the President show you why he was elected and why he's president and not y'all. Columbia immediately changed course and now accepting all Trump planes with their own citizens and they are sending their own planes and paying for flights rejected. CNN salty now

Funny how on J6 they were rioters who invaded the capitol and were violent offenders that needed to be looked up for the rest of their lives even though they were provoked by the left . And then they show this footage and call them migrants just trying to get into the country rather than calling it an invasion of dangerous people that are literally assaulting the police This is exactly why nobody likes the main stream media And the rules for the but not for me hypocrites that lie

This woman is complete liar and always busy trying to glorify India and is never ready to show the other side of the story. For instance how many Indians have overstayed their visa in US & in Schengen area. Also how we make fraudulent documents for visa application or even for study or work abroad things. Palio I’m always left baffled and speechless every time I see your one sided report. A fifth grader with common sense who’s never been to a journalism school can do a better report than you. You’re an absolute disgrace and doing huge disservice to our nation by providing them with half truth and one sided story.

Ms Sharma, You should be objective about reporting rejections. The problem is within our borders. Our poverty and a large young population create wealth asymmetry. Many try to immigrate by hook or crook. This is the sad truth. Please do an objective reporting as a follow-up showing the cause of rejections and the truth may reveal itself
