As usual, governments probably do this when convenient. India has some of the worlds best computer science graduates. American computer companies work hard to hire these invididuals. I'll be they are relocating without a problem. I say relocating because some people return to their native countries.

Best decision..Toronto now is Mumbai!crowded streets,malls,trasportation,lack of rentals,during fireworks in Toronto downtown was lot of car noise driven by Indian,4am loud noise with no respect! Streets were dirty as bins were so full that all flooding on sidewalks and subways were so full ,could not even stand proper.people leave their countries to find better life here,however if they its going to be similar to India life style where its crowded,lack of jobs ,then Professionals may think to leave or not come at all here!\nI think everyone should be welcomed but with limits!

this is actually a really good summary of the situation. just like how India has their bad people who have caused problems we canadians also have similar people in who are just as troublesome if not worse such as the junkies on the streets who I see all the time here in Montreal and cause so much chaos. a big argument which I also feel like is that we should only allow the best of the best to immigrate to Canada. my mom was an immigrant and is an incredibly hard worker who is more than deserving of a Canadian citizenship and even my close friend who immigrated from India is just like that and is also 10x cleaner than anyone else I've ever lived with. the fact of the matter is that we need to bring back those high standards which we had in the past and crack down and send back those who abused the system and illegally entered the country. Canada is one of the best countries, I agree there are few downfalls, but on the other hand you can’t even in judge a book by just looking at it’s cover. If you are well educated, this country is the best to live in. Canada has already made their immigration policies stern, and are not welcoming everyone now. Do you think Indian politicians are doing good to keep India safe according to their duties? Don’t you think India has a drug problem too? Apply for a visa and come here, you’ll see many people settled, enjoying their life here. People have to face struggles when you move to a new country, it takes time. Honestly speaking, I never thought that there’s a lot of issues going on in Canada, during the college seminar, we were told that there’s good education (which is completely true), good pay rates for work, good housing and good society. After coming to Canada, I realized the rents are sky high, homeless people everywhere (it’s not their fault, they are homeless because of the government), drugs & weeds, everything’s expensive, high tax, couldn’t able to get even a low wage jobs? if I know these things are going to happen then I won’t come to Canada, also I don’t have enough money to pay back my education debt and I can’t go home without earning a single penny, I’m trying my best to spread awareness about the real issues that’s going on in here and I hope people will think twice before coming to Canada. \n\nOther than that, Canada?? is a beautiful country with amazing people, places and culture, I would love to be a part of it but if the situation is not gonna improve then I prefer to go back to India??

Sorry Indians are doing what they do in India! They bring their corruption and pollution mentality! Now there are many great Indians and do have ethics & moral. You do not feel unease around them.i just chose my friends carefully! Again immigration brings all different types of people! Many worked hard to have what thru have and are humble but this new generation is really materialistic and entitled! India has become so weak that even Indians from other countries don't want to come back. They are trying their best to stay away from this awful country. Govt. can't deny this fact. It's all over here in India.

They do not want bright students or the best minds, they want people who falsely portray they are persecuted in their country, they want people who can do blue collar jobs. They have poor screening process. They don't profile based on the region for diversity. The Indian community in UAE are smart, well respected and highly professional in dealings with other expats and host country, they are the best representation of incredible India! This totally the opposite from Indians in Brampton specially those international students.

The solution is really, and I mean really simple... Become a PR first, apply from India, go through the selection process. Come to Canada with your PR and then go get your education for much cheaper at a reputable University , not some unaccredited shack that presents itself as a college. They enjoy being Canadian\n\nOne of the students said it best... becoming an International student ONLY means you can study and get an education that you deem better than the one provided to you in your own country. No university having programs open to International students can promise to find you work or make you a resident or citizen of that country. No French, or German, or Dutch University that allows you to study there has any obligations to you working or staying there.

I’m Indian, born and raised in Canada. My parents came here in 1994 and they made the best decision for our future. We adjusted to Canadian culture and have respect for the country that gave us opportunity. It makes me disgusted seeing my own kind come here and make a mockery of such a good country. Went to Canada in 2005 first. Things were so different. Was there just for a year before moving to California for about 9 years. Now back in India and love it here. Glad I enjoyed the good days in Canada and USA when it was really good times there. Even Many parts of Uaa are like this now. UK too is bad choice. I worked for a Canadian school/institute as their admissions advisor for India. But when things were not looking good for their job prospects I honestly told them not to go or wait to get in a better US university. Ofcourse this ethical mindset was causing trouble with my work profile and targets, so I quit. Atleast I won't feel guilty of misguiding hopeful students who were ready to take education loan by keeping their homes or ancestral lands as mortgage. I will advise the new generation to choose any country for education after doing all research, not just by the glossy picture they portray.. or best to stay in India and help our economy grow.. create jobs here. Better to live a life king size here than doing labour work in other countries. Better to be a part of growing India than being a secondary citizen somewhere else. Apna desh apna hota hai.???

I been in Canada since age 11 and now 48. It is great to be part of both sides as I m an Indian born but got best of both countries and values. I work for a very large company and I feel I treated fairly and with utmost respect. Fact is Canada was hard for me when I started school from grade 6 to grade 10. I then changed schools and I was not bullied and face racist people. I went to diverse school. So diversity is good. Now my kids grew up here and feels at home but now there so many Indians here and clearly people here are annoyed and racism is become quiet high. I was verbally abused by strangers with racist slurs in the last few months. When I go shopping I been getting picked on by strangers at least 5 to 6 years the last 5 years or so. But now people don’t care and they act more and more racist. Indians sending there kids here should be aware of this. Also kids from India come here and try to do parties and drugs also. This becoming common. There is also many idiots from Punjab also. Many have criminal and drug and alcohol problems and they bring it here. It’s getting quiet messy. The government issues visa without checking peoples background. It’s madness. Stay safe. Canada is good country but the risks are also there now.

I believe India is the best country to stay because:\n- Rents extremely high in developed cities . Property prices unaffordable in big cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata. People are paying life long EMI till death.\n- Teachers focus more on Private tutions to make money. If you don’t take lessons from them, they will fail you in education system \n-Government doctors more focus on Private practices than their Government jobs. In ICU doctors sometimes sleep because they are tired for their private pactices.\n- Court takes decades to settle court cases. \n- Extremely high inflation - Food prices uncontrolled \n- Retirees not worked for Government getting hard time to pay bills specially medical treatment cost. It’s really hard for them to stay in big cities. No Indian government help and support. Government basically don’t care them. Only big big words at the time of vote \n- middle class working upto 11 pm to save their job , no retirement money- just surviving \n- After completing MBA, lot of job seekers land in selling target oriented credit card selling and driving Uber/ Toto \n- Ministers have so much under table money they keep their money inside the walls of their property \n- Sides of Highways full of Poverty . No good food, no proper sanitation \n- Farmers have to commit suicide for manipulated Government practices \n- Police is not writing FIRs if you are categorized as opponent \n-Fake promises are given to illegal immigrants/ Hawkers/ by Ministers for creating Ministers Vote Bank\n-\n- Ministers create vote banks from Hindu- Muslim riots \n- Ambani’s spend millions of dollars inviting top celebrities where 60% poverty prevails \n\n- Health care system is changing extremely high prices for small surgeries because Insurance will pay. At age 80 , all top insurer declines coverage when you need coverage otherwise premium is extremely high so that you can’t afford \n- Middle class is pressuring their kid to get admission in a reputed Private school and still has to pay high amount of donations.\n- Modi wants to make digital India which is great. Did he cared how the uneducated citizens, needs medical attention can cope with Government rules. He didn’t care. What he did for poor Indian.- nothing.\n\n\nAfter all these ministers are saying India Rising. I have been in Canada for past 10 years. Life have changed a lot since then. Standard of living has come down. Rent and mortgages increased. Job lay offs. Higher grocery rates and everything have gone up. It’s so hard to survive here. I had a severe sprain in my knee and I could not walk at all. I got MRI appointment 1 year after I went to doctor. This was the worst thing I experienced. My daughter was born very micro premature, doctors took good care of her and she survived here in Canada. We paid 0 dollars. In India the treatment would have costed close to 1 crore or I can say there is no specialized treatments in India for such micro premature babies. I’m thankful to Canada in this case. I have seen best and worst. So I’m neutral here. But I strongly suggest students not to come to Canada at this moment. This country does not have enough jobs, no proper education, no standard of living now

I am an individual who is working in International Higher Education industry and as an Advisor for an Irish University. \nI would just like to 2 points here :\n1. If your intention to study outside India is pure and you do not really want to stay back for more than 5 years and wait for ROI, Canada, UK and Ireland are best options. \n2. But if you wish or have the idea that you maybe want to settle down outside India then definitely do read the country's Foreign Policy, International Relations policy and research well how stable their market is. \n\nAnyway sometimes it is also feasible to choose specialized courses that maybe in demand rather than going for generic management courses.\n\nAll thr best to all

The best thing about India is that I can just go to a hospital and consult a doctor on the same day instead of waiting for weeks. I had an operation in my left elbow last month and I feel proud that I was born in this country

I am watching this video from Canada and I have 4 words for you - “DO NOT COME HERE!!!” Everything that was mentioned in the video is absolutely true. Canada is facing many problems, unaffordable housing, broken healthcare systems, homeless people, drugs. I am always scared to walk in downtown at night when I’m returning from work. And the worst part is, you cannot even defend yourself here if a homeless person is attacking you. If you do that you will be prosecuted saying that why did you touch that homeless guy and it is a violation of human rights, which is stupid. So does that mean that we should just let a random homeless person kill us?? How does that make sense?? My friend who was having an asthma attack had to sit in the emergency room for 8 hours. If something would have happened, who would be responsible? And the list just goes on. And what does the Canadian prime minister do about that….? Let a guy be a girl and a girls become a guy? What does that even mean??? I have nothing against the LGBTQ people. That’s your life do whatever you want, I don’t care. But there are so many other issues going on in the country and the government is focusing on allowing people to change their genders !! \nAnd the worst part is that a portion of the tax we pay from our hard earned money goes to the homeless people. And what do they do? Buy drugs and start attacking random people. Correct not only Canada,USA as well as European countries have\n1)Nashede log doing drugs on road\n2) Waiting period for Dr\n3) NRIs whenever visit India,They plan their dental treatments, treatment related to eyes (opthalmologist ),they go to physiotherapist etc??\n\nBut still say CANADA BEST HAI BHAI..\n\nI guess because \n\nYou don't need to bother about extended family, relatives, attending functions, Riti and rivaz, Compulsory yearly pujas like Ganesh,gauri, navratri ( akhand deep etc) and so on?\n\nYou are staying their so not answerable to anyone ?\n\n( Like Daru piyo ,chote bade kuch bhi kapde pehno etc) \n\nAlso when ever you visit India every one will give you a special treatment/ protocol ?\n\nThe above All are pros\n\nCons..\n when you shift to Canada or any other country you may miss your family and culture in the beginning but that won't ladt long as you make new friends and enjoy India their too?\n\nYou won't get HELPER. for regular household chores..\n\nYou won't get grocery or vegetables orders at doorstep ?\nIn India 100 ₹ ka order karo ghar tk aa jaayega ?
