I’m Punjabi, Indian and my parents came in the 1970s assimilated, and became hard working people and earned a name and reputation! The Indians coming in now are degenerates, entitied to PR and the they don’t act like students they want to drive around in jeep wranglers and chargers in plazas and fight with one another like morons! Here is a aggressively neutral take as a Canadian elementary school teacher in an area with an extremely high Indian population (around half our school is ethnically Indian). It is also my own opinion, and some opinions on the internet suck: The good: Cultural integration IS possible (the Indian families are more into hockey than the white families where I live), tons of cross-cultural friendships, beautiful blend of cultural celebrations, top achievers are almost always second-generation immigrants, kids are growing up to love their parents' culture while also loving Canada's, many fantastic families who engage their children well and raise them very respectfully, religious temples that will feed an amazing meal to ANYBODY who walks into them (as long as you cover your hair), low rates of family trauma (drugs, abuse, divorce, etc.), families that take care of their elders The rough: Not all families are interested in being Canadian (some families just send their kids to Indian speaking private schools, live in Indian areas, and only seem to practice Indian ways of life - what's even the point?), many Indian families retreated into their home-lives during Covid which removed their children from integration opportunities, a very small percentage of the families are absolutely TERRIBLE at parenting and treat their sons and daughters with different levels of respect, multi-family households pay a single property tax which makes the contribution per taxpayer much smaller (while social benefits are equal to anybody else), some crime such as extortion and gang activity has been imported into the country, some individuals' disregard for rules and laws (setting fireworks on Diwali in the middle of a dry, grassy field is just plain stupid), some Indian communities seem to vote blindly for their own ilk during local elections without any regard for policy or experience, LMIA immigration program has been corrupted by the nepotism of bad actors and the greed of large corporations (wages can be federally subsidized which makes it cheaper to hire immigrants than the 16 year old down the street). Many of these families were simply making good choices for their own family, so don't blame the people themselves for this - blame the government that allowed it to fester unsustainably. I'll continue to stick up for the majority of these beautiful families though - haters be darned! Watching these kids grow up gives me some hope for humanity!

It’s good to hear some are thinking of leaving to the US. I truly wish for their success. I worked at a college that became a diploma mill in Vancouver and you couldn’t go to the men’s room without seeing 3 or 4 dudes hanging out. Foreign students also take from the food banks enough to have 1st year students now banned and many people no longer donate. I generally have great experiences Indian people, and have travelled India extensively, but if you let in too many of one type the native population will have a hard time and the immigrants themselves won’t integrate and build their own society. Canada is full of various ethnoburbs for decades and it has generally worked for the benefit of the country. Go to Markham or Richmond and it's 80%+ chinese. Vaughan is mostly Italians. So many areas of the country has had immigrant populations like Brampton does. I live in suburban Toronto right next to Brampton, thanks for bringing attention to this matter. Everything you showed in this video is 100% facts. These guys have turned Toronto into a crime-ridden shithole, tons of home invasions, auto thefts and robberies are through the roof, taking all of the jobs and opportunities away from young Canadians, etc. Youth unemployment in Canada is 25% all because of these guys. These Indians use these shitty no-name "colleges" to sneak their way into Canada and then don't leave when their visas expire and work illegally under table, not paying taxes on their income like the rest of us do. In Brampton, you'll often find 3-4+ families living in the same house. Pretty much any restaurant or establishment you go to, there will be mostly Indians working there, barely any white people. It's a plague.

I'd honestly prefer Indians over Middle Easterners. Hindus and Sikhs aren't proselytizers and generally have a much more mellow religious vibe, unlike Muslims. Plus, Indian food is the shit, I dig curry and samosas. The thing you really have to be careful of, as is the situation with any instance of mass migration, is to be aware if newcomers are taking advantage of Western social assistance programs, like the Somalis have done with the welfare system. They need to understand that to be welcomed as new Americans, they have to work. Indians have proven to be industrious through hotels and convenience shops. I'd prefer them to Middle Easterners or certain cultures of Africans. That all being said, they should also come to understand that, having moved to a modern country, there's very little point in having massive families with ten kids. No need to endlessly spawn more people to help with chores like water fetching when you have indoor plumbing. It's an unfortunate trend a lot of migrants have trouble getting over, the endless breeding that makes locals anxious that they'll become a minority in their own country in just a few generations.

No offence to the amazing Indian people, as a Canadian I find the majority very helpful and good for our country. However, things changed 2015- onwards- there are large scam companies now that bring unqualified people by taking money from them and creating fake student permits for them. The issue with that is that these people are OK with subpar living standards and offer their services for less than minimum wage and this creates a shadow/ cash-based economy where taxes go unreported and quality of life does not improve. This is not good for anyone- not the Canadians and older immigrants who lose jobs to these people and must pay higher taxes to maintain the infrastructure needed for a larger population. Not to mention how these new immigrants are a bit uncultured and almost like the "red-necks" of India- they throw garbage around, do not learn English, never make friendships with other races/ethnicities.

For Canadians:- Improve your immigration policy, how the heck are you allowing so many people in a short amount of time? And what's that college scam, Some people from your country make fake Universities, contact people from abroad and make them come in Canada, then they take their money as fees and then flash! No such college existed. And foreign people are trapped there. Also, hire qualified people with degrees like the USA does. Indians are living in USA too, but it's not such a big problem in USA BCOS of their policies. Not everyone is wrong,but make sure to punish the wrong one's. Imply tough rules on cleanliness and job hirings. Instead of banning people from these countries, imply strict regulations on them. As an Indian living in India, I’d say it was your country’s government’s problem and mistake, similar to what the UK is doing now. Aside from government or policies, Indians immigrating to Canada is something that dates back to the British era, when Britain sent a group of Indians, specifically Sikhs, for security or labor work in Canada. This started the trend of Sikhs (turban-wearing ones) moving there. In modern times, the West was richer in terms of education and infra compared to Asia, which attracted many normal students and families immigrants also. Canada and America were built by immigrants, but now things are saturated, which I understand, and that’s where the resentment comes from. The majority Sikh state ( punjab) in India is still behind in development and job wise cooperation, and the historical pattern from the British era of moving to Canada for a better life has become a norm for many young people there. The close, collaborative nature of Sikhs—like a cousin in Canada inviting another cousin from India to come over, open a shop, work together, or share housing—is another reason many don’t hesitate to immigrate. These are some of the reasons behind mass immigration from India. Now, with saturation, the resentment toward immigration has grown. India itself faces issues with immigrants who live off our taxes, take rights meant for native children, and abuse policies, laws, or the environment. At least Canada has better-off immigrants—educated and contributing to the economy. While some may depend on taxes, most are hardworking and self-sufficient; otherwise, Canada’s economy would have collapsed by now. The problem is there are just to many off them. Then too many have gotten very arrogant saying thing like this our country now. Taking over cities street with loud music for some wedding and to those who also live on the street cannot even park there car or live in there homes due to the loud noise. India have a good universities because some countries accept their Indian people with bachelor degree as H1B visa program, but most India apply and accepted in Canada as student visa, how many finished and how many leave the country? because they allow them to work at the same time. who would not take advantage to Canadian foreign programs, and those Indian MP's in parliament will support this programs to help their kinds or country fellows to dominate this country.

I am from India came to Canada legally (gone through 7 months of processing and waiting , submitted countless documents , photos , chat history to prove relation status and professional experience, literally submitted all my life story) to obtain PR and come to Canada just to realize that people without any of these come from different parts of the world especially India bypassing the system and living better life working cash jobs and doing random stuff. When i went to take driving license first time, An Indian origin guy rejected my application saying that my Indian License wasn't looking original enough , where I have seen people who couldn't even speak basic English were applying to get license to drive trucks. It is sad to see how many of our people are bringing a lot of 'Indianness' to this country and live like it is their own turf. I have met many young and middle aged individuals who call themselves students who doesn't even have a clue of what they are studying. It is unbelievable how people of certain status live their life partying and enjoying breaking all sort of rules , dropping out of college etc. when people who are here legally and many Canadians struggling to pay rent / mortgages / insurances etc. Don't even want to talk about job security , its a joke. As a Brampton raised kid, I lived there from 97' till about 2023, I'm caribbean and we have a large indian/muslim/hindu population too on our island. (Trinidad) and the issue with Brampton is: Indian people will gladly intergrade, but Canadian borns won't welcome it. Walk with me- I'll use food for an example. Every other grocery store is middle eastern/asian/african in Brampton and its becomes harder finding more western style food. I love international food, I cook it often but if you're used to burgers and pizza and only know how to make spaghetti it feels like a 'take over' These people want what they want and even though all these places are free for you to also enjoy they don't like it cause it's too 'foreign' to them. It doesn't mean there isnt still a No Frills or a Walmart or Metro, but because the african and halal store are closer and more frequent it seems like more of a convenience to others and not to you. When people say we're multi-cultural, they mean 'yeah he's brown or black but he keeps it to himself' They aren't going to go to that Sikh temple giving free food, and only go to the church at the beginning even though they're welcome to both. It's the same for Diwali and other things, white people dont care to be interested in those things, and just wonder why they get to have it at all. I do agree with that indian lady at the beginning though, with lax immigration you come in feeling like you don't need to do anything to assimilate. They're doing themselves a disservice by only helping themselves. I hate stereotypes being perpetuated onto people but like that Pakistani guy said too, you live in a bubble and you don't pay attention to that. You can go days without speaking english to someone. You can't immigrate somewhere and shut out everyone already there. I wonder if they discussed how when Indian students who unalive themselves in Canada, the deaths are not treated as such. There are many families who have the remains of their kids (usually young males) repatriated and the death is left unclear. The gov’t of Canada has been obfuscating many such deaths. Was it the Canadian govt fully at fault for the deaths? Not quite… these students are often met with predatory individuals who take advantage of their vulnerable situations: such as predatory landlords who have sometimes 15 or more students renting one house, or unjust working conditions because the employer knows that the immigrants citizenship hopes are tied to the job, etc etc. Ultimately, it’s the Canadian government turning a blind eye to these realities and trying to make the deaths appear due to things other than unalive attempts. This shouldn’t be surprising considering the way the Canadian government has been pushing dystopian legislation around their medically assisted dying program (MAiD). Canada’s medically assisted dying program has the least guardrails of any program of that type in other countries. Not just this, but the legislation for MAiD comes at a time when Canada’s healthcare and mental healthcare systems are collapsing. Trudeau said he would address this with one his re-election promises in 2021: he promised 5 billion for mental health programs. I’ve worked in the field for almost 20 years with youth and that money never arrived, nor has any serious attempt to fund programs occurred since the brutal Canadian pandemic policies massively exacerbated the youth mental health crisis. Perhaps one day someone will be able to trace how the 5 Billion promised was send off in provincial transfers that did not benefit any programs and likely only helped pay for all the upper management, because Canada’s healthcare, education and mental health care systems are absurdly top-heavy. Canada becomes moral dystopian by the day, with regular folks (working class, blue collar, low-income) bearing the burden. Everyday more people join the rank of the oppressed regular people while a few who work in the government or favored industries are overpaid and the stats around all of this corruption are further obfuscated and buried. And as all this occurs, you see bureaucrats like the on in this video smug in their knowledge that most Canadians will never learn how dark the truth is.

The most dangerous part is that many of them are working as nurses now. I am a nurse and have been training these people from India. To be honest, it is very a hard and frustrating process cos I have to teach them even the most basic skills like taking a blood pressure or covid swab cos they know nothing. Hospitals are hiring them because they believe their “ lmany” years of nursing experience in India. Then I found out that in their country, nursing is only 3 years compared to 4 years in Canada and they do not require a nursing license to work as nurses in India. They come here, go to review centres to pass the licensure exam. And the College of nurses of Ontario allow this! Nursing is stressful enough and we do not have time to teach English and basis nursing. There are still many Canadian nurses I know looking for a job but they don’t even get an invite for an interview because even the HR department are Indians. Seriously, these people need to get investigated.

This is terrible and I don't understand why the government would only take Indian students about 90% of the international students were from India and uneducated and non-verified credentials. I don't understand was the government too much worried about the money they will be bringing I don't understand like this has the real Cause of the trouble for everyone why you only would take so much of the Indian students why not the rest of the world if you really want to help your new your universities to pay off their salaries and run and those new Indian breed that is coming they are really not ready to come to the Canada illiterate people.

It is not racist to point out how, coincidentally, the quality in Tim Hortons has dropped lately, when in a majority of them have workers of Indian descent, which are usually in major cities. How so? The liberal-imposed foreign worker plan, plus a little bit of corporate greed. It is not racist to point out that Indian "international students" are getting their food from food banks, which are supposed to be for the poor, and how some places of work only hire Indians, because they are run by Indians. Why is this discussion even about Indians? Because they make up HUGE majority of people coming to live in Canada. Matter of fact, this does not apply to Indians coming to Canada, but to whoever goes to live in another country. It does not take much out of you to at least adapt to the way of life in which ever country you go to. The conservative party sees this in a way that the liberals do not. I am First Nations and I have been concerned about how the face and language of Canada has changed. The first thing we noticed in our small town was that the taxi companies were taken over by East Indians. Now days you are hard pressed to get a taxi anywhere in Canada and get a driver who hails from India. I used to like Tim Horton's until I needed an interpreter to make my order, one doesn't speak English so, she had to get another worker to take my order. You go into any 7/11 or any gas station, or convenience store. All are staffed by people from India. But, it isn't just Indians. There are many other immigrants coming to Canada from China, Japan etc. None of these immigrants do not speak very good English. I have faced prejudice from these people who do not recognize my rights as an indigenous person. Going for an xray, blood test the field is mostly Asian. I have to get cataract surgery and I couldn't understand the Chinese receptionist and had to spell most of what I said to her. That means their business is mostly with Chinese-speaking people. As a First Nations person my status will always be a minority. With every immigrant that comes to Canada my status as an indigenous person diminishes. Taking transit shows me that english or french are ever spoken. Canadians are the new minority.
