First of all, Tyler is a hardworking journalist and I respect that, however a lot of this video was wildly ignorant, from almost everyone involved, including from him. This is cheap views unfortunately. It paints a very bad perspective for all the genuinely hardworking citizens and residents of Indian origins, why not show that side of them too? There’s obviously actual students who come to study and provide for the community while also maintaining their own culture? What’s wrong with that? Besides, what is a Canadian culture if not a mix of immigrants from all around the world? Are white people also not just immigrants to this country or did they magically spawn in this place? They’ve committed ATROCITIES (not just in Canada), yet have the audacity to act like they’re the cleanest ones in the land. While I do agree some Indians do not improve the reputation, most are really kind, helpful and honest people. Perhaps treat everyone like humans for a change instead of using the bad ones as a benchmark. PS, cutting to the ugly streets when someone mentions Punjab is probably the cheapest attention grab, obviously there’s bad streets, ugly roads, gross people everywhere but so are beautiful ones, lovely countryside views, beautiful mountains and most of all, very hardworking and respectful people as well. Your view of Punjab is just NOT the same as the one of the people in the video who view their motherland as a beautiful place. You can portray every place in the world in that light with the wrong perspective, be it New York, Paris, Barcelona, Cairo, Sydney, Rio, London, etc, but it must be nice to get a few more looks at the expense of demeaning others.

When I went to Niagara college it was 90% Indian exchange students. I saw punjabis pimping out girls in the school bar and constantly selling hard drugs in the open. I saw Indians drag women bye their hair through the hallways and force themselves onto them in private study rooms, while their friends guarded the exit to the room. Multiple times i had to stand up for women and almost get physical with them. One pulled a knife out on my in the hallway when I told him to get off a girl that obviously didn't want it. Me and my friend rented a house beside the college and we would have occasional partys. They would show up the party and push hard drugs onto my friends. One was flashing around a hand gun and acting like a wanna be gangster. They would steal things and leave their trash everywhere. I finally had enough and said no more Indians at my house.

If Indians want to feel like they're in India so bad they can go back to India. Everywhere you go even in BC you see less and less Canadian people anywhere, let alone Filipino, Mexican or even Chinese.

Tyler, They have had saber fights in the parking lot (iirc Sheridan College Davis campus). There's conflicts between hindus and sikhs every fucking diwali due to the khalistan bullshit. These indians love shooting fireworks up until 3am, and disturb all the folks trying to sleep, and terrorize dogs kept outside. Diwali has gotten so bad one year, the city had to issue air pollution warnings due to the amount of fireworks. Good journalism, both sides being presented here, the reasons why it happened, the stereotypes. While I don't really have a strong opinion about Brampton being mostly Indians, I do have an opinion that Canadians should condemn other areas as well that are majority of immigrants. Vaughn area is filled with Chinese people no one makes a fuss about it. They ain't speaking english, they aint serving American junk food everywhere, yet Indians are a problem. The community has vices, but justifying xenophobia with that is awful. European descendant people came here and took over native Canadians. Can't think how it must've felt for them. That was unarguably way worse than the current immigration system. My point being its a problem against a specific community is not really being uncomfortable for the sake of the country but purely out of spite and racism. I can see the concerns but not when they stereotype every Indian.

When I came to Canada, I thought, "Oh my god, I think I got on the wrong plane and landed in India." They're everywhere. I work for a Canadian company where ten percent of the employees are Canadian, and the rest are mostly Indians and refugees (from Syria, Laos, Vietnam, etc.). I think that when people don't want to accept the laws and want to live outside the law, they choose refugee status, doing whatever they want and trying to cheat the system. Canadian employers then find an opportunity to line their pockets with cheap labor, harming Canadians themselves. My view of Canada is like living on a pirate ship in the 21st century...bye, bye Canada... God help the Canadians.

I live in Toronto and it is full of Indian students. They are everywhere, every business, gas stations, grocery stores, dollar stores, all basic jobs you find indians. They can get visas for their spouses, their parents so easily. How is it so easy for them to get into Canada. Some can hardly speak English. Its hard to even get a basic job.

I spent 9 years in brampton, honestly indian people were always super nice... yes there were some outliers but there's outliers in every race.... people are people there are good and bad people everywhere.

I visited Brampton over New Year's 2018. I couldn't believe how huge the Indian community was at the time. The weather was extremely brutal, so we didn't go out much. Everywhere we did go was ALL Indian! I was visiting a friend's family. I remember asking him if there were any cultural conflicts between the immigrants and the Canadians. At the time, it didn't seem to be a problem. Evidently, a lot has changed since then!

This is what happens when you only interview old, white boomers. I was just in Brampton for my cousins wedding (they’re Indian). The wedding had tons of young white, Indian, Asian, etc. people. Everyone was having a good time and having fun. Old people don’t change, young people adapt and live. For what it’s worth, Brampton was bustling, growing, and there was construction everywhere. It felt safer and definately was cleaner than any size city like that in the US. All the Indians I know there (my extended family) are engineers, lawyers, finance types, and doctors. One of my uncles got the Order of Canada - he lives in downtown Toronto though, very wealthy cardiologist now.
