But in groups ( and this doesnt just include indians) you get this group thinking that is prejudice against anyone who isnt one of their own. Im fairly certain its a good demonstration of what a different culture would experience in their own country. This is especially noticeable in markem with the Chinese population. \n\nLet me say this loud and clear. We didnt let you come here so you could start your own countries inside of our country. With our low corruption goverments , our clean drinking water, our free health care and education system, with our opportunities that make it possible through merit and hard work that it doesnt matter what family or where you were born. These are attractive features of canada that play a role in why people want to come here. And leave where they were. Its it logical to think that you have more to learn about us then we do of you? Not being on some selfish punk shit is canadas greatest strength. Its that same inclusives mentality that keep the government corruption very small which empowers the citizens to make them successful and able to contribute more back into this system. The very nature of hoarding resources for ones family, same culture, etc are the same oppressive situations many of these people left their countries to seek better opportunities. But once given those opportunities and a chance to decide for themselves, a lot of these people use their liberties to create exclusion and hostility toward out groups. The indians do this in a very overt in your face way, the chinese are more polite about it but both have this way of looking out for their own and not being concerned with anyone else. As far as im conerned you should all be split up and dispersered to live in different provinces and cites. Why do those of us on the political left keep allowing those on the political right to dictate the terms of public conversations, even when we have the facts on our side? It is estimated that 1.7% of the world population is biologically intersex. That's roughly the same as the percentage of the world population that is naturally redheaded. Trump's executive order states that the US government only recognizes two biological sexes.  This means that as far as the US government is concerned, biologically intersex people don't exist. This is analogous to having an executive order saying redheads do not exist.  It's nonsense.  So, why aren't biologists from all over the country pointing this out? The percentage of the world population that identifies as transgender is at most 0.6%.  So why are we talking about transgender people when there is a larger group of people that Trump's executive order discriminates against?  Here's why: because folks on the left insist on allowing those on the right to set the terms of almost every debate we have in this country and folks on the right are happy to ignore intersex people (whose existence conclusively establish that their views are false) and those of us on the left stupidly follow their example in doing so. If we are serious about protecting trans people, we need to be smart about this. Let us reframe the public debate to focus on intersex people.  This will make exposing the lunacy of Trump's executive order much easier when engaging a general public that is too ignorant, lazy, and indifferent to educate themselves about trans people. So, let's help out the lazy ignorant masses by adopting a simpler (and more science-based) approach to the debate over whether there are two biological sexes by making the simple, scientifically sound observation that biological sex is bimodal, not a binary.  And not amount of executive orders can ever change that fact.

The housing shortage is a common thread to the economic/ housing crisis! But why aren’t they building rental units??? Simple, would you build a plane if your passengers simply boarded the plane and refused to pay?? if that were to happen the offending passengers would be de-planed and arrested! \nBut when it comes to renters, they can move in, stop paying rent and it can take 6-12 months to legally evict them. As a former contractor I have been witness to landlords offering cash to tenants and squatters to leave their properties which have always been left trashed and badly damaged! The laws that protect these criminals are a joke and predatory tenants know it! I had a client who rented her condo to a lawyer and after a couple months the tenant stopped paying. She filed for a writ of possesion and waited months for the hearing. She brought all the documentation and the tenant showed up claiming they had cancer ( no documentation, letter from doctors Nothing!) The writ of possession was denied for compassionate reasons! The landlord had a mortgage and was paying the condo maintenance fees, the tribunal didn’t care! \nThey set it aside for six months. In the end cash was offered and the tenant left! After the massive clean up and damage was repaired it was put on the market! This is how far left Canada has gone! There’s simply no way forward!

We target 2% inflation for fear that without it, people will buy less now and then there will be a downward correction on output and then jobs. \nIn any case, broad tariffs won’t be the answer to lower prices. A global economy is an efficient one, but often unfair or unkind in specific localities. The US has benefited from globalization and low cost labor elsewhere for decades. But the pendulum swung too far and now many Americans are feeling left behind. Tariffs could bring back jobs but on a 5 to 10 year timeline, not one 4-year presidential term, much less in a year.

I was born in ?? and at your age Alina I left Vancouver and moved to Europe. I too saw no future and no way of having quality of life there. In the past 20 years I have watched ?? just fall apart and get worse and worse and it breaks my ❤️. One has to choose where life will be best for you and then give it your all. For me, by far, it was the best choice I ever made because the life I have now would never have been achievable, especially in Vancouver. People will tell you and you can tell yourself that you can just move back and visit all the time but in reality, that does not happen and you need to accept all the loss that leaving will bring. You will loose friend family and opportunity, people will pass friends will forget you and you them and Canada will become a memory in time. Dont cut immigration down.....tell me how did Indian intl student makes up about more than 80% out of all international students. Why didnt the government put a cap or a stop specifically just for Indian people? Why didnt the immigration look deep before giving student visa just like a snap of a finger and see if they can support themselve for school and living expense. \n\nI am an immigrant myself but when i decided to come to canada as a student. I made sure i had enough funds to sustain myself here in canada for 2 years until i can get my work permit then a head to PR. Nowdays I see a lot of international Students get access or abusing goverment facilities and benefits for which not entitle for them but Canadian residence only (PR or Canadian Citizen). I never ask for Cerb when covid happen, never ask food bank my part time job can fullfill that, paid my fare for using transportation, paid my rents and utilities on time and paid my credit cards. Lastly i never complaint focus on my study and I get good high paying jobs. I am proud to contribute to Canadian Economy as an Immigrant.\n\nThe question is are they doing the same? If you cannot sustain yourself dont add your burden to the country. We (Canadian Residence) paid heavy taxes from our sweat to cover ur burden and debt. Put yourseld in our position and you know what I mean.\n\nCanadian Goverment is too nice compare to other western country go and take a look at the US, Australia, British, New Zeland and Europe Nation. If u cannot sustain yourself do you think those gov at given country will give a care abt you? I feel bad for those who were duped into coming here to Canada. They had big dreams of becoming successful here, instead not being able to do that and being forced to live in cramped accommodations. I work in healthcare, and a lot of people who work in the facility in which I'm employed were brought here from the Philippines and India, mostly. Some were hired directly by this employer, while others came here some other way. Those with professions like being an RN were under the impression that it wouldn't take that long or be that difficult to get their Canadian certification to work as RNs here. Instead, they found out that the process for that here in Canada is a lot tougher and takes a lot longer than they'd been led to believe. So many are left not being able to use their education to its fullest, instead working as care aides until they can get the proper certification. I know that this has also happened with doctors and engineers and to many in other professions for which they went to school for years. It's a real shame.\n\nThis massive influx of people coming from other countries, though, has been really tough on those of us who were already living here. It's been way too many people, and we just weren't prepared. It's been one of the biggest factors in the huge increase of cost of living and, of course, it's by far the reason we have an enormous housing shortage.\n\nI'm not completely anti-immigration, but I think that it needs to be stopped, at least for a while. Let us deal with what's going on now instead of bringing in more people that would only help to make things worse, through no fault of their own. There's no reason that we need to have more people coming here right now. We have way more than enough people here right now.

In face, Canada is good to raise children, but when they grow up and you are free on yourself, it is better to change to live in other countries. South america and Southeast asia are among good choices. Selling your house will stop paying the ever rising government tax and strata fee but gives you a more affordable housing while plenty left for buying medical insurance abroad. Saving of 35-45% tax can easily buy a descent plan. Canada is great but the cost of living is far more greater! In long run, Canada will become more occupied by Indians and other third world countries immigrants who like to raise large family to maximize their welfare and send children to school for free. The employers like cheap labour and bigger consumer size so they support Treadue. The foreign students in my company ridiculously work more than study. Bureaucratic inefficiency is also prevailing in many governmental bodies, federal and provincial alike. Large private companies are not much better.

I have met so many who are going to small places in Canada as they get their PR card faster. \nThen the idiots in our government think its ok for them to bring all their families.
