tyler i don't think u realize how bad the usa education system really is. i'm canadian but have lost count of the number of usa teachers who have complained about how bad they are held back from teaching kids properly, how kids can't be failed or held back, how kids graduating gr 12 can't read or write past gr 6 level. in fact recently there was a statistic put out that something like 60% of ALL americans cant read or write past gr 6. considering all your universities that is terrifying. not to mention with gun violence, straight up violence among kids and at teachers, the disrespect and the severe lack of good parenting, kids are not being educated at all. u yourself have done videos on where someone interviews americans and asked them questions about canada and they haven't got a clue. not one clue. yet canadian kids are regularly taught all about their american neighbours. are kids know more about america then american kids do and thats shameful. u need to do some research on this because unless u live in a rich gated elite community and go to private school the public education system in the usa is very dismal and woefully inadequate. \nalso he's right about politics. here we can discuss it rationally and then move on to other topics. in the states ppl are shooting ppl over differences in politics. beating ppl up trashing their cars and property etc. and many police are definitely not presenting themselves with professionalism tons of racism going on. and so many police because everyone is armed. here in canada we are not allowed handguns and pretty much ppl only have hunting rifles. it takes a lot of work and clearance not to mention time and money to take the necessary classes and get the necessary permits to even own a hunting rifle. in the usa show a drivers license and wait 10 days u have a handgun no matter how mental u are. therefore u need way more police than here in canada. i think u have a well to do upbringing so u have not and do not see the true picture of the america u live in. \nalso i have talked to many american friends who had insurance and still cost them about $5000 per birth of a child. with good insurance and working full time. so thats about average. here in canada u pay nothing except maybe parking for hubby while he visits.

Well nothing like that, I live in Canada and can verify that. Problem is quality of immigrants, especially student is trash in Canada, Australia and Europe. They come to shady universities for studies, work full time both legally and illegally rather than studying and at end of their education, they have a fake degree with zero value. Just like most of the new graduates in India who have a degree with no practical value. \nIf you have a good degree, right skills in tech and some experience, there are tons of opportunities in Canada. I cuss Canada everyday but that's because I lived 10 years of life - studies and work in USA. So whether I move to Canada or any other country in the world, I would do the same as US has no equal in the world. I lived in US for 10 years, then India for 3 years and came to Canada 3 years back. I would still move to India after getting Canadian citizenship, but not because Canada has something bad or India has something exceptional to offer, but because I want to live with my parents in India. Thats the reason I left US but came to Canada to get a backup.

I've been to the states many times! My opinion is that Americans focus on wallets more than social issues! Americans care more about their own circumstances than working together to help the whole of the population. No one likes to pay more taxes but they are a nessesary evil to be able to pay for health care, public security, and so on! So sure Americans don't pay as much for some things but pay more for things that they shouldn't pay! Health care is something that is very important, how can you be expected to pay for health services if you can't work cause you're ill, doesn't make any sence! Even Americans leave thier country because of what it's becoming! 50- 100 years ago everyone wanted to immigrate to America or Canada, now a days everyone is immigrating here to Canada. Should I have to explain why! It's sad but the U.S.A isn't what it used to be. Mostly because of corporate greed and the influence it has on the gouvernment! Just look at how Trump is running things. We emigrated from Europe as a family to Canada 12 years ago. I felt cheated. Nothing in Canada was better than the country we came from, in fact it was much worse. It completely disrupted our lives. I got a very strong and uncontrollable feeling that Canada would turn out very badly for our family. After a year we went back to our own country and since then we have been doing very well again. It was a great adventure in which our dreams were shattered. I could write a book about it.

The housing shortage is a common thread to the economic/ housing crisis! But why aren’t they building rental units??? Simple, would you build a plane if your passengers simply boarded the plane and refused to pay?? if that were to happen the offending passengers would be de-planed and arrested! \nBut when it comes to renters, they can move in, stop paying rent and it can take 6-12 months to legally evict them. As a former contractor I have been witness to landlords offering cash to tenants and squatters to leave their properties which have always been left trashed and badly damaged! The laws that protect these criminals are a joke and predatory tenants know it! I had a client who rented her condo to a lawyer and after a couple months the tenant stopped paying. She filed for a writ of possesion and waited months for the hearing. She brought all the documentation and the tenant showed up claiming they had cancer ( no documentation, letter from doctors Nothing!) The writ of possession was denied for compassionate reasons! The landlord had a mortgage and was paying the condo maintenance fees, the tribunal didn’t care! \nThey set it aside for six months. In the end cash was offered and the tenant left! After the massive clean up and damage was repaired it was put on the market! This is how far left Canada has gone! There’s simply no way forward!

In conclusion, Tariffs are affective because these greedy American and Foreign corporations use cheap labor to make cheap goods that they then sell for major profit. Tariffs tend to make these companies movie to America create American Jobs and pay higher American salaries which are a significant savings over tariffs. The companies lose considerable profits but they gain market share because they understand that when you raise the price of goods you only make the American alternative more appealing.

I'm also an immigrant, been in Canada for 16 years, came here initially for uni. It's funny that I have no negative feelings towards immigrants from any other countries but India. And I didn't have any negative feeling toward them before I came to Canada, if anything, I only remember something positive my grandma telling me about Indian people being beautiful, that they have big beautiful eyes. After I came to Canada, over the years, based on countless personal experiences dealing with them, sadly my conclusion is 99% of them are bad, 1% are the exception. They are aggressive, rude, stinky, unhygienic, dishonest, always trying to take financial advantage of people or situations to save a few more bucks by being super annoying or cheating, extremely disrespectful and aggressive towards women!! Really nothing is appealing about them. And at a job position, 1 Indian will bring 10 Indians, 10 will bring 100, they are slowly encroaching the environment and taking over everything. Other races try to assimilate into the local culture, while the Indians are imposing theirs onto the local and other cultures. Canada feels like it's turning into a second India. It's lost its politeness, manner, rules etc. I no longer want to live here, I plan to move back to my country after a few years. And I don't really go to Tim Hortons anymore cuz the Indians are taking over all the franchises and lowered the standards of Hygiene and friendliness. I don't think I'm being racist, cuz I'm not having all these negative feelings based on their skin colour or origin. It's purely based on real life experiences in dealing with them.

In response to the judging of immigrants. Interesting how we rarely see immigrants on our street corners asking for a handout. Instead they're at work making just barely enough to eventually have their own business in a few years. Latinos are a workforce and stimulate the economy because its a lot of hard work to maintain and sustain this country. Who's gonna do all that hard work when they're deported. Billionaires like Corporations, Trump and Musk are the reason you are not doing well, not immigrants. Trumpism is fear, hate, blame and shame politics. Immigration has been a thing since a million years ago, and it will always exist. People migrate. Americans use 1,000 times the resources more than immigrants need. Immigrants don't even qualify to for well-fare assistance. When immigrants are gone and the borders are secured, who will be blamed next for America's problems. Instead of focusing on the greater good and progress for all Americans, Republicans can't help themselves to use their power to address their xenophobia, blame, hate without concern of who and what suffers, families of the working class suffer, and our economy, not billionaires. Mass change and reckless actions based on negative emotions and Ego based intentions of one man, is bad for everyone. Negative energy + negative actions amounts and results to nothing but negative consequences and repercussions. Trumpism is no bueno for America. His approach to fixing immigration will hurt and break America.

Did... he just say that there are some 12 million illegal or otherwise undocumented people in this country but that they've never committed a crime here? Was he even listening to himself? Where does this dis-connect come from? As bad as Trump is, and I hoped he would not win last week, this is the 1 single thing that I agree has got to be done: If you are in this country illegally, you need to be deported no excuses no anchor-babies no nothing! You do not get to just waltz into my house sack out on my sofa decide you like living in my house and get to stay, that's not how this works! ps. I was not far from where the Mexican National Mass Shooter killed 5 of his neighbors here in Texas last year, he was previously deported 4 times and had come right back again, his wife was here illegally his best friend who tried to hide him from authorities was here illegally and 4 out of 5 of his victims were ALSO here illegally and you just cannot make this stuff up people! We have a problem in this country and it's not necessarily rooted in racism... who's fault is it that the vast majority of people in this country are of Hispanic ethnicity? It sure ain't my fault, I'm just against letting people who enter or are otherwise in my country illegally stay and I don't much care who they look like or where they came from!

Its not as simple as deporting all illegals, All those who complain about inflation, now get ready for for the unseen/ unsaid issues th at come along with this way of doing things, it is tied into the economy and will have enormous impacts of pricing and manufacturing. Those who dont know why the border must have a swinging door which swings both ways, as All companies take advantage of south of the border because of vheap labor and laxed regulation so they can get away with what they can get away on us soil. Now you get someone like chump who has zero tolerance and no political experience run it like a business with out understanding of the consequences that comes with actions done with out beabke to compromise. You all complain about inflation, now get ready in your everyday lives, from manufacturing, to groceries, to dining out, and be prepared to pay alot more because now, no one is going to do thise jobs as the so called americans didnt want to do those jobs, as its always gone unspoken that hey they are doing it, and reeps the fruits of the laborors and could care less until it got out of hand as of today. It was announced today on the news that the Trump initiative to deport all illegal immigrants will cost up to $1 trillion dollars. That’s a lot of moolah. Which will come out of our taxes. And the tariffs that he went on and on about. Companies aren’t giving out bonuses to workers for end of year. Because they have to save money now because Trump will impose tariffs on incoming goods. The workers didn’t understand they assumed the cost would be paid by importers. In reality, it will trickled down to American consumers who have to pay for goods. Economists have been saying during the election this is a bad idea.Trump tried to do it the last time he was in office and it didn’t work. So people be aware you think you can’t afford things now wait you won’t be able to afford anything. PS the government has nothing to do with price gouging for food and they don’t set the price for gasoline or electricity, etc. ????

It’s insane and predictable that so many people are uninformed about the consequences Trump’s return will have on America and the rest of the world.
