Our govt will be broken and empty, except the military, and Putin will come in and take over and use our military to takeover other countries. I know that sounds like a bad movie but nothing shocks me anymore and I can’t think of any other reason for America to be pissing off our allies - the good guys. This video and these comments are so shocking and depressing. 10 years ago, people still widely praised and raved about Canada and it was a leading country in healthcare and standard of living. Now people are saying the complete opposite and saying it's in a terrible state. Coming from outside the country going to Canada I found there to be a shocking number of Indians.

We went to Toronto 2 years ago and it felt like heaven ! I had no idea that Canada was going through hard times (I don’t watch the news !) For the first time in nearly a hundred years our local food banks had to shutter and turn people away because INDIANS were using it as a free grocery store when they had FULL TIME JOBS and brand new bmws, then they post videos on social media saying ‘how to get free food in canada’, while some poor emaciated bastard gets turned away. What makes it worse, a lot of these Indians, especially in the prairies, already have their groceries subsidized by federal government, and they STILL abuse the food bank. It’s not just food bank either, they all apply for welfare and immediately get assistance even though it takes months to get as a natural born citizen, and that’s even if you get it. I was shocked to find out the federal government was paying indians to move out of Ontario and BC into Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba because the coastal cities infrastructure was about to implode in certain areas. So they they told these people to move inland, and if they do and stay there for 18-24 months, they get $3300 dollars a month every month for that duration. My disability cheque, that I paid into for 40 years of hard work, comes out to 950 dollars a month. This is absurd. These people get literally everything handed to them, and STILL abuse the programs meant for those who are struggling. I have never in my life met such an arrogant and utterly dishonest and disgusting group of peoples in my life. This isn’t just one or two bad apples, this is happening in every city around here. They also get first dibs on any and all medical treatment and specialists. Many local residents who have already been on waiting lists for years to get treatment are getting bumped in order to accommodate the new invaders. It’s basically impossible to find a doctors or dentists office accepting new patients. ER rooms are full constantly of these people coming just for runny noses and coughs, clogging up the already strained healthcare system. The prairies hospitals (at least where I live) were barely holding together before this nonsense. Yet somehow, this is all just white people being racist huh? \nWell I’ll tell you what, I’m not white, my people were on this land long before anyone else can claim to be, and while I’ll admit there’s often still a lot of animosity between natives and whites, youd be quite surprised to see how many of us are in agreement towards the current behaviour of these people.

A month ago, I visited a shop called AMR Fruiterie in Montreal, Canada. I asked an Indian lady about the price of a vegetable, but her response was shockingly rude. Since then, I've started avoiding this store and now prefer shopping at Metro. It’s more expensive, but the experience is worth it.

I lived in the Florida Keys and loved it but the bumper stickers that said Yankees go home made me wonder how they felt about Canadians. I was injured at work and was taken to the hospital were work paid the hospital bill but when the nurse said go to the drugstore and buy a bandage they will be cheaper then if I put one on you. That was a rude awaking as to where I was.\nThe next was I was living with a nurse and at the hospital they brought in a person that had no ID on him. He had been in a terrible car accident but with no ID they would not treat him ,so he died. Turned out he was a Doctor from Key West driving to Miami . The hospital staff were in shock they had let one of their own die. In Canada they would operate first and worry about money or insurance later.

Recently we made such decision to move to Canada after 13 years my muallaf Canadian husband was not arround but he got very shock once he is back there and at day 2 being there we aborted our plan and being so grateful how wonderful our life was indonesia (our freedom as muslim no comparison here, mosques at every kilometer, the cultures deep binding according to our religion, have so many options for islamic educations schools and living cost very cheap here no comparison!)and will continue to live there entire our life inshaAllah.

Idk i think you need to realize that we also have our bias in addition to you having yours. Meaning, to most of us , excepting the most left leaning socially progressive pockets and contexts , which even then wouldn’t be viewed that way to us just acceptable lol ?\n\nOur baseline/political middle in Canada is A LOT more left leaning than the baseline normal/political middle in the states. So while people tend to equate your democrats to our liberals or our NDP , and equate your republicans to our conservatives. It’s just not accurate. My parents were both born in the states and my older brother was born there but they moved up here when he was a baby. So nearly all my extended family lives down there and I’m a duelly. And my experiences discussing things with my cousins or visiting absolutely could be described as culture shock at times. The insane things that came out of my own cousins mouths when they hear our friends or partners of various cultures , our not understanding how big a deal and incredibly insulting apparently it is to have assumed someone American was lgbt lol the list goes on. Like I don’t think our most intolerant Pockets can hold a flame to even ur closet to middle a bit intolerant places and contexts in America. Quite honestly. \n\nI think the absolute undying favourable passionate upholding and support of nationalistic, capitalist, hyper individualistic mentality about society as a whole (from my Canadian born and bred perspective lol) makes the differences even more glaring blaring and hard to swallow for us lol. Doing the opposite causes friction and even arguments where customers explicitly say: “Please don’t talk over me, listen to me first.”\nPutting myself in the shoes of a hiring manager who is culturally Canadian, knowing that Canadians are very risk averse and kept to themselves: Why would I stir the pot in the workplace by bringing in a foreign worker who may have internalized habits that are seen as rude and abrupt?\nIt’s not only about English skills, degrees, who does things faster, etc., but cultural awareness. If you don’t take the time to learn about the culture of the place you are migrating to and/or expect that locals welcome habits that could be perceived as rude and shocking to most Canadians, you are going to limit your network to only people in your cultural group - which will definitely hinder opportunities for growth. Don’t make the mistake of assuming that everybody thinks and acts the same as you do.

See, I know this is wrong. But we have to be honest I am an Indian but moved to America. I stayed in New Jersey and the environment we created there is absurd. We made the place dirty, uncivilized behaviour and the list is long. This is happening in Canada too. Canadians identify everyone as Indians but the major problem they have is with Khalistanis. They have become a menace, gun violence, crimes and a shit ton of things done by these people. There is always a reaction and it is unfortunate that the innocent ones has to face the reaction. We Indians only look at the good ones as an example when it comes to Indian immigrants, but the chaos and misconduct is created by the rest of the uncivilized Indians who are huge in Numbers. My experience girlfriend was Canadian, her mother owned a departmental store she caught and called cops on many occasions were our peyare caught on camera stealing, damaging the store and also peeing right in the corner of the store. I saw all these footage. The major problem with Canada is most of the Indian immigrants that went there were uneducated and directly went to Canada from Indian villages, it's a cultural shock for them and during the initial period everyone behaved in a uncivilized manner. Please understand the root cause of the issue. If I am a guest at your house and keep on causing harm to your home and if this keeps on repeating you will end up frustrated.

There are majorly two types of ' outsiders ' that the government takes in : students and asylum seekers. Seen purely from financial viewpoint, homing and providing for the latter group makes no sense at all. They are a permanent leakage of funds without return..\nRegarding students, there are the undergrads who pay 5X times the Canadian students and they are the shock absorbers for fee burden on Canadian students. This category is precious, especially those studying in reputed colleges. Then there's the student who comes for post graduation studies, doesn't pay as much a undergrad but still a valuable resource. Then there's the diploma students who make studies as an excuse to get into the UberEATS, mcdo kind of Job market. Cap on them may be needed to protect Canadian interests. However the last category comes mainly from one province in India who has political clout in Canada, so it is the hardest to curb. I experienced culture shock when I arrived in Canada, but I managed to adjust to the “Canadian ways.” While I haven't fully adapted since I wasn't born and raised here, I've been living here for years. It's important to respect and be polite to Canadians. It feels like they are welcoming us into their home, so we should be respectful, mindful, and considerate. Most Canadians I've met are very nice and polite.

Well thats's expected, Canada has nothing much to be offer except the permanent residence. Quality of our tech education even at top institutions is not top notch. I am in software/machine learning (fancied AI), born Canadian who did bachelor's and master's from University of Waterloo and moved to US for my PhD in 2014. Sorry to break this but even top universities in Canada come nowhere even close to top 20 in US when it comes to American universities. I completed my masters in 2011 and was doin some junk work in Canada as tech industry is light years behind US where all innovations happen. I was literally shocked to see the difference in education and quality of work after coming to US. Canada only wants blue collar workers, realtors and truck drivers.

I am from Canada and dont want to be here anymore, I cant afford it. There is little relief to be had in the small cities and towns in Canada. Those are often remote, cold, have major....major crime and homeless problems themselves, AND a LOT of these ex-urban centers are shockingly expensive as well, despite the fact few of them are places you would want to actually move to. Small city, town canada, is by and large, are cultural, economic and infrastructure dead zones with high crime, terrible public services, miserable weather and few amenities. Canadian multiculturalism has changed. It used to be you came here and became a Canadian... While still bringing in bits from where you came from. Many Indians may get offended, but Indians as a community play a majority role in the hatred Canadians have towards them. I am an Indian too, but it annoys me to no end to see the nuisance some Indians create. It brings a bad name to the whole community. But, they just don't care. Immigration per se is not bad, but too much of it, especially too much from one country alone, will offset the demographic balance and is always bad for the country. When my sisters' families drove over from the US to Toronto last month, they were shocked to find that Canada is overwhelmed by Indians! And bad, disrespectful drivers too! I didn't realize that because I was here all along, it needed fresh eyes to see the reality of what happened to Canada.

I went to high school in Brampton Ontario, in the mid 80's and there were no Indian immigrants anywhere. After high school, I moved to Montreal to work as a fashion designer, (I have to mention the shock I experienced whenever I would fly into Toronto for business... when I went to get a taxi, there was always a massive line of Indian taxi drivers standing outside next to their taxis. I had the feeling that I was no longer in Canada, but somehow ended up in India?) Having lived in Montreal for 30 years, I recently moved to Guelph Ontario, to be closer to family and I was shocked to see how many Indians had moved there, (going to the dog park, I was informed by the people there, that Brampton was called Bramladesh and Guelph was turning into another Bramladesh.) There was a massive temple built in Guelph a few years ago and suddenly Guelph was invaded by Indian immigrants, with every house put up for sale bought by an Indian family, (the husband, his wife and their kids, the brother and his wife, their mother and father, all living in a 3 bedroom house with 3 cars in a 1 car driveway, (for some strange reason they all choose to dig up the black asphalt driveway and replace it with white concrete??) So yeah, the white people in Guelph are fleeing en mass, as it becomes impossible to sit in the back yard, or open a window, without choking on the powerful stench of spices coming from the Indians living next door... it's like being punched in the face from the horrific smell when you walk your dog and pass by one of their homes! That said, it feels like their goal is 'global domination' and with 2 billion people living in India today, it's just a matter of time before they all decide to leave the most over populated, the most polluted and the most corrupt country on the planet, and move to Canada!

Canadians are some of the most welcoming and big hearted people. I migrated to USA in early 90’s and faced a good amount of racism and hate. When I first went to Canada as a tourist, I was shocked by how friendly they were, given that by appearance, language and culture they were almost identical to Americans, yet very different in nature. \n\nIf you guys can piss off the welcoming and friendly Canadians, I can imagine you guys messed up big.

If you don't want to have Uber drivers, the first thing you need to do is change the system of hiring highly skilled professionals. I was shocked to find out that even software engineers need a recommendation from one of the IT companies in Canada to get hired. I am Canadian born citizen, unemployed, 2 and a 1/2 years. Because I didn't know that the Trudeau government in 2022 when I lost my job due to the pandemic was allowing them to import T.F.W's as executive assistance my level of experience into my industry. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get an interview withe almost 20yrs of experience and I was trying every trick in the book but a week ago I learned that they brought in over 2 years 300,000 admins at all levels from E.A's to receptionist now. So imagine my horror and shock to learn that 5 days ago. But you walk in everywhere. And it's just Indians from every part of South Asia and I am all for immigration I'm a child of an immigrant, but immigration is a science When dealing with a country like Canada, where it's designed to be many cultures like a 20 bean soup. You're supposed to try and keep it at being a 20 bean soup and within 3 years it became like a 2 bean soup. It's a science where you're replacing your dead, and then you bump it up like 10% to grow the population slowly with GDP so that you don't have so many Canadians. Unemployed and temporary foreign workers that come are employed. So everybody's contributing but the way they did the open door everybody bum rush. And over run the country. Our economy is now 60% dependent on people who aren't residents. They're temporary which means when they leave our fake economy is actually only built on 40% to 30% of Canadians. That's an economy that will crash because it's never supposed to be weighted that way, Canadians are supposed to be 60% to 70% of the economy and foreign workers are to be the rest. So we're in trouble when they finally go home, but they need to put a moratorium on PR's, Work permits, LIMA's, T.F.W's and restrict all educational institutions on how many Students they can accept so private schools don't scam students by taking their money then telling them they don't have a seat for them to attend class that is just criminal and do so untill end of 2025 and then review status again for 2026. So Canadians can have a shot at getting work and then slowly introduce them back in as needed for proper slow population growth and not just a free-for-all ability to work anywhere in the whole country. Major cities and everything like that. So people like me can finally get back to work.

Having lived in Montreal for 30 years, I recently moved to Guelph Ontario, to be closer to family and I was shocked to see how many Indians had moved there, (going to the dog park, I was informed by the people there, that Brampton was called Bramladesh and Guelph was turning into another Bramladesh.) There was a massive temple built in Guelph a few years ago and suddenly Guelph was invaded by Indian immigrants, with every house put up for sale bought by an Indian family, (the husband, his wife and their kids, the brother and his wife, their mother and father, all living in a 3 bedroom house with 3 cars in a 1 car driveway, (for some strange reason they all choose to dig up the black asphalt driveway and replace it with white concrete??) So yeah, the white people in Guelph are fleeing en mass, as it becomes impossible to sit in the back yard, or open a window, without choking on the powerful stench of spices coming from the Indians living next door... it's like being punched in the face from the horrific smell when you walk your dog and pass by one of their homes! That said, it feels like their goal is 'global domination' and with 2 billion people living in India today, it's just a matter of time before they all decide to leave the most over populated, the most polluted and the most corrupt country on the planet, and move to Canada!

I have to say as a white Canadian i have met some Indian people who are the nicest people but I have also had some that were the worst kind of people personally from my experience it has mostly been those who have come since the pandemic which is due to our government not properly screening people. As for brampton I was going to school and my instructor was Indian and I was surprised when he started bragging about when Indians first arrive in canada that they are taught by there church how to take advantage of the Canadian government systems and legally sue people he literally told me that and i was shocked that he actually bragged about that and thought it was perfectly ok i don't hate him or any Indian people but that kind of thing does happen alot in brampton and it definitely doesn't help Indians in most people's eyes especially when there's some bragging about it .and frankly same with the YouTube videos talking about taking advantage of our food banks not good at all especially when people are relying on them to feed their children.It also doesn't help when someone states there opinion and automatically it is called racist.

I never usually comment, but really had to speak up. Those of you from the US should not be involved in this conversation considering ur melting pot country with little diversity who is unaccustomed to diversity anyways (i went to america and was shocked at how little coloured minorities there were, and if there were it was just one type that was not brown). Canada has always had brown people, and many of the people you are talking about could be those that immigrated many years ago here or those that were born here. This is different from those immigrating who are also brown - you are grouping those from all different countries in South Asia (with brown skin) as Indian. Just because you see a brown person working in Walmart, it could just be someone who was born here or came here a long time ago. Brown people and Indians included are not in a majority in any way - just look at the population stats.

They are international students not immigrants. At the same time Indian students in particular have been sold the Canadian dream and once arriving in canada they are shocked by cost of living in canada. They end up working low income jobs, barely afford rent and food. This is not something experienced by Indian students only but by all students. Canada is in undeclared recession, the labour market has slowed down while cost of living has surged.

I was shocked to hear that thousands of Indian students got stranded in bangladesh during recent regime change. \n Indian students were trapped in Ukraine, during the start of Russian invasion in 2022.\nDuring recent riots against paki students in kazakhstan, it was found that 15000 indian students were studying in kazakhstan.\n Now we hear Indian students protesting in canada.\n In my opinion, the only places on earth where Indian students are not present is pakistan & Afghanistan.

I grew up in Canada and I'm white. When I went to high school everyone who I met grew up in the country so it was very easy to socialize and make friends. When I went to college it was a very big culture shock because everyone traveled to Canada from another country mostly India, Korea, China and the Philippines. Most indians/immigrants ive interacted with are insanely smart people. In high school all the native Canadians were a lot less intelligent vaping is a huge issue but everyone was highly social so I was able to fit in easily even though im a pretty unlikeable person. The problem is that in college I couldn't really make any friends because of the cultural differences and since native Canadians are very rare where I was studying the culture was also kinda different. So it kinda makes me feel like im an alien in my own country. But honestly everyone kept to them selves a lot more. There are a bunch of other factors like people hyper focusing on studying but I wish people would just socialize more instead of just doing their own thing.\n\nI still remember back in high school when people used to know about everything that happened if there was something that happened everyone would know about it because everyone would talk about it there were group chats with tons of people in it where people would organize things or share memes. I think people should take inspiration from this and probobly do this more often but now its honestly just very lonely.
