I almost completely support everything he says. My problem comes with his comments on Fentanyl. Please, this medication is a game changer for so many suffering daily in agony with chronic pain or deadly conditions. For those who need it medically, it is strictly controlled and monitored. Fentanyl is “eaten” by pain, so for those who need it there is no high, just relief.\nThose on it legally already have to deal with a great amount of prejudice, being treated as addicts and dealers when they are just trying to find a way to survive immense pain everyday. This medication allows them to get out of bed, to attend school or work, to have a life. It gives them hope and relief. \nThe opioid crisis is real, but those on a prescription are not the cause. Canada already has some of the strictest protocols in the world for this medication, leaving many people in agony as they loose access to it. \nDon’t take away something that is saving them. The drug is not wrong, those selling it illegally are in the wrong.

Trump knows it’s not about fentanyl. He wants your country and your resources. He’s a Russian asset. Dangerous man. Him and Putin work together. Don’t give Trump a damn thing!!!!!!!

Weird to hear bad comments about Fentanyl, In our region, fentanyl is the drug of choice for our in hospital patients for pain. But we do have very strict control so theres no substance abuse. I hear its quite bad up North.

Has anybody ever even mentioned that border control happens at the country that you enter? There is no way for the Canadian government to control the flow of fentanyl when it's the US side that have the agents at the border. Shame they didn't care about fentanyl when it was killing people off in BC for years before spreading, thousands of people had died. What is CHINA doing to stop the flow of Fentanyl? Hmmmm. Profit.

There is a lot of talk on Fentanyl headed south, but no mention by Canada of how much of the drug heads north. I can't be zero. There has to be transit of the drug from the USA into Canada.\n\nBut what I truly don't understand, is that what heads south is not crossing through the Canadian border. All south bound traffic needs to go through US Border patrol agents. So by that measure, how is Canada not doing its job? I've crossed into Canada many times and have been asked to pull over for a search of my vehicle more times than I've been searched on my return to the USA, which was once, my very first crossing in 2002. \n\nMy only guess is the problem isn't fentanyl, that's just a distraction and by design a way to get people believing in something that isn't true and to help further the rift.

Less than one percent of fentanyl that enters the United States comes from Canada.
