The guardian is working against the evolution of human kind why? I do not know but the whole situation is bizarre.

It's not just the artels, Cash. That's HUGELY disingenuous. The Church is making their $$ off the US Gov funding to ship them to CA in the first place.YOUR taxes pay for shipping them in illegally. Which is so bizarre. YOUR Governor knows this. This is election interference.

Bizarre.

The high volume of immigrants has a lot to fo with unaffordable housing and stagnation of wages, that's how supply and demand works.\nThis report frames this as affecting immigrants specifically which I find bizarre.

Everything about the video is so true and apt. I have been in Canada since 2014, and I have seen drastic changes in the country.\nBut I see you guys talk about protest in the first part of the video, but you did not really tell why they are protesting. \nA lot of students are protesting because they either want free education or they want the universities to make the exams easier for them.\nStudents are being deported because they got to Canada through a fake letter of acceptance. There is no bizarre reason for their deportation.\nStudents are not getting PR because the programs get full. It's not all students. I think you kind of put all students in one clan.\nI have been watching your videos for quite some time, but it seemed like you did not have enough research on it.\nThe drug problem being legal makes no difference to that province. It actually curbs the gang wars and stuff. \nI completely agree with you on the health and housing crisis. But it seemed your research was not at par with what I have seen on your channel before.

I’m a Canadian nurse and I lived in the US for 10 years during my career. I did it when I was young to gain work experience and travel with friends. It gave me a lot of insight in how it feels to live in both countries. I’ve been a nurse and patient in both counties so I also know how it feels to work, live and be a resident in both. \n\nI cannot articulate enough how it has confirmed to me how fortunate I am to be Canadian. The perks to living in the US were very superficial and frivolous things that matter very little in the broad scheme of things,….which I see as more restaurant chains, cheaper restaurant food, more shopping options, etc. As a young person when I lived there,…those things seemed amazing but matter far less as I get older. \n\nWhen I lived there, I paid a fraction of the income taxes that I paid in Canada but it’s only short term gain for long term pain. The cost of health care, the amounts of gov funded benefits (disability, EI, pension, etc) in the US makes it well worth paying taxes to offset these things as in Canada. I have had cancer 3 times in 5 years and I’ve not paid a cent for treatment, scans, surgery, etc in Canada. My employer held my job for 2 years and I received long term disability of 70% of my yearly wages and my employer paid my full pension and benefits as I was off of work. After 2 years, my cancer returned and was deemed incurable so I will continue to receive this pay and benefits until I’m 65 and can retire as I can no longer work. I have no financial worries as I battle cancer. \n\nTo contrast,…my US employer was a world reknowned hospital that had excellent pay and benefits. Had I been working there when I was diagnosed with cancer, I would only have gotten full pay for 6 weeks until my sick time and vacation time was used up. Then I was eligible for a fraction of my income for 3 months, which would not be enough to live on. I would not have had my pension paid. After that, I’d receive no more pay and my employer would hold my job without pay for 6 months and then I’d be let go. My cancer required nearly 2 years off of work so after 5 months of this minimal pay, I’d have no income, no job and no benefits with a new pre existing condition to ensure that I’d have a snowballs chance in hell of getting future coverage. Meanwhile during that 5 months of some pay, I’d still need to pay huge costs of treatment despite having insurance but that would disappear after I was let go from my job. I’d have to return to work during my treatment just to afford to continue it. I have many US friends that had a similar cancer that worked throughout to cover basic cancer care while I was able to recuperate without working or fearing being unable to pay. There is nothing comparable to this when you are sick. It is everything!\n\nSadly, many of my American friends are very ill informed on how health care works in other countries and don’t see the shortcomings in their own. Ironically though, they are willing to argue it without proper information so I often find that bizarre. While lived there I felt as though I was in a bubble where the only news that I saw was US news. I saw no info or minimal about Canada in my whole time there,…aside from falsehoods about health care to scare people away from seeking change. “Canadians are all dying while waiting”, “they are all coming to the US for care”, “they pay 80% income tax” etc. All propaganda,…some from politicians or those that should know better. It was truthfully mind boggling to me how educated people could know so little about the world. It almost felt as though they heard so much propaganda about how terrible other places were while only having knowledge of the US, that it ensured that things would stay the same without anyone wanting beneficial changes to dysfunctional policies (like health care, cost of meds, lack of gun regulations, etc). It’s very bizarre.

Canada is getting really bizarre lately its like they got bored up there and decided they want to import the whole world's problems ?

It is common for people on this community to never assimilate and instead try to change the place they live into the place they escaped from. So bizarre. Wish you the best of luck either way.

@12:01 Tyler states you do need to be quite particular about choosing where you want to live in the US, going on with examples of locating communities with “like minded people” to yourself.\nThat to me is a bizarre statement, communities that have like minded people , where everyone has the same political, religious and social beliefs will have no opportunity for understanding and learning different perspectives / points of view or new ideas, new ways of doing things, no ability to accept or be okay with differences.\nLiving in a like minded community is essentially coddling and doesn’t allow one to evolve.

Why does Canada make it difficult for American professionals (people with college degrees or higher) to move there? I've never understood this. It's probably too late for me but, this seems like such a simple change. There are a lot of Americans who'd jump at the chance, if they had some support in finding a job. It's bizarre to me.

What’s the most bizarre to me is that the dude filming the situation felt like he was in the right and even uploaded it for everyone to see..perception is a weird thing

Why is this on the bbc?\n\nI just had a quick look around other European national broadcasters, no one else finds this newsworthy for people here.\n\nWhat the hell, is this openly pandering to the tories? Bizarre.

This is so BIZARRE. Why on earth are they posting this malarkey, as though it’s of general interest? Ah, I know, to rake in cash $$ for each viewing. Typical YouTube greed. \nThey betray their shallowness & naïveté about the world, and will never be content no matter where they live.

UPSIDE DOWN WORLD When I can say that Saudi government is showing more regard for human rights than my own US government is, shows just how bizarre our position on Israel actions is.

I tried Turkey but they hate foreigners, especially Arabs. Now you need 250 000 USD to buy a property in the first 30 days to qualify to stay on a residency visa and that property NEEDS to be bought from a Turk as buying from a foreigner doesn't qualify. And cars have a bizarrely high tariff so even a VW or Toyota will cost you over 75 000 USD. Plus almost nobody speaks english or arabic outside of Istanbul and there are many areas where foreigners AREN'T allowed to buy/live!

They never identified themselves as Palestinian before the creation of Israel. This is bizarre to take a Roman name to call yourself. Also no blinked an eye as Arabs forced the majority of Lebanese Christians from their homes. Lot's of blind eyes ? to things from the past. Wealthy Arab countries that have the means to house them but they don't really care.

What type of mind wants to create refugees by displacing people from their own country? The crocodile tears from the journalist is bizarre and a reverse psychology play. The minister answered the real question perfectly!

I traveled through New England this summer and it was a great trip. I didn’t meet any rude Americans but they definitely are closed off with each other in small group settings. It was so bizarre.

I lived in the US for 4 years. I was 12 when I moved with my parents. I had a teacher who expelled me from school on my first day. I refused to do a pledge to their flag. The teacher went nuts. I said I was not pledging anything yo a flag of another country. The teacher then tried to tell me that I was lying and that Canada was a state, not a country, so I had been pledging my whole life. This was a teacher, and I did not know Canada was not part of the US. He called me a traitor and that I should be charged, then had me expelled. When I came back to Canada, I had to take an extra year of school because my grade 11 from the US was so far behind. The US school system was bizarre. The had clubs where people dressed like the military and marched around. They were taught to fire guns, and it was all part of school. They spend more time learning about their history and never learn about so much of it. It was like an oxymoron. The teacher did not know about the War of 1812, did not know that Washington was still trying to stay with in the British Crown even months before the end of their insurrection, and that Canada was a major contributor to the US moon race. It was a very confusing tome for me. Thing I had learned in elementary school, where just being taught in middle school, and other things were so far a head I did not follow like things about their Presidents. They could not spell, yet I got makered wrong for it and I found the teacher were either very nice or true demons, and they knew nothing but their own subject. I also felt like I was treated not as a student but as a criminal who had just not commented on a crime yet. Very strange.

So bizarre that you say 'most people will be ok with health care from their job' .. when the XXX hits the fan health-wise, the job is the first thing to go, then what ... all it does is tie people to their employer, another way for employers to impose servitude .. and its so expensive that people delay seeing the doctor and that can make health issues much worse before care is sought.

Tyler, stop glossing over the U.S.'s horrid gun culture and especially the school and mass shootings.\n\nThe bizarre obsession with guns is the U.S.'s Achilles heel. The gun issue is a totally relevant and significant deterrent to moving to and even just visiting the U.S.\n\nI'm so glad I live in Canada! It's not perfect but it's a strong, beautiful country. The U.S. has a long way to go before it can compete with my home. ?? ❤

I watched a news reel this week about drug addiction and poverty and I could not believe how extensive the ‘downtown down-and-out’ areas were in many cities in EVERY state. I can’t believe how the governors of certain states are focused on attacking LGBTQ issues, controlling women’s health, allowing anyone (regardless of their mental health and past criminal behaviour) to buy guns- lots of guns, guns that only armed forces or law enforcement would require. Why aren’t they focused on the huge hollowing out of their cities due to drug addiction? It’s a bizarre country - certainly not a 1st world country anymore.

Individually, I met many Americans and find them nice enough. A little louder and opinionated. I managed employees there for clients.\n\nWouldn't live there...\n\nEvangelical religion, racism and discrimination, political instability & ineffectiveness, bizarre legal system, scary healthcare, poor education, threat of violence / gun culture, high crime rates.

Guns and gun laws in Canada are awesome. Conceal or open carry is a bizarre concept. Canada has an excellent school/curriculum system. Canada's political system is better. Canada's policing system is better. Canada's multiculturalism is fun. Canada's environment is beautiful. Canada's lower population, while not great for some reasons is great for other reasons. I've been through 15 states and everyone was very nice. Staying Canadian thanks very much.

It's time for the Americans to storm the Venezuela border and take over their country since they can't run it properly. We don't need to have a war with these other countries where these refugees are coming from, we just need to take their country from their leaders and make it ours and call it us territory and apply our laws and statutes and civil rights to that country. Where there's a will there's a way. Sometimes you have to fight craziness with bizarre actions, and it works.

Why don't they settle in Mexico or elsewhere in Latin America? Why is it that the United States & European nations are assumed to have some bizarre duty be open to all comers - despite the reality that infrastructure doesn't magically come into existence to house & school however many want to come - when the rest of the world still has the long-recognized right to police their borders and decide on their own immigration policies?\n\nThis is a Democratic Party-enabled mass invasion & a complete subversion of the rule of law.

comment section displays a pretty jingoistic lack of compasion or humanity for the situation, full of lots of naive and easy to say comments for people who very likley have no clue about what situation such people left and what nightmares they have been though along the way....like imagine making it to the us border all the way from venazuela, and i wanna say us foreign policy in the region, along with our economic and political impact makes this whole situation so complicated, there often arent paths for things like immigration or asylum for these groups in many of the countries they pass through, or they get held up in camps for processing that become bizarre legal limbos

Why are Americans mad? Europeans get to enter kill people take their lands, but Mexicans or venezuelans or aby south American people can't enter that land?\nI find it extremely bizarre

Maybe immigrats should realise that the amount that can be accepted as to be limited ohh how do you look after your own country, its so bizarre how ppl think that its a must if you rock up at a border illegally your let in .. but it's not that's forcing your way,\nYou have ppl waiting to come from all over, yet your allowed in cause you pushed the queue.

Multiculturalism and equality of opportunity are meant to be Canadian values, part of the Bloc's origins was to strengthen the french Canadian rights to exist instead of being assimilated. It's bizarre to me that there is such resistance to uphold our own values in this country when issues are brought up.

Muslim women wearing burkas and nikabs SHOULD be looked at differently. \nThrough a Westerner’s eye, women dressed that way should always be seen as the bizarre and alien sight sight that they are.

Mohammed was a child molester and a murderer and they made a religion about him. Bizarre !

I have been to both Alberta and B.C and they are the most boring places I have ever been in my life. This woman's behaviour may have been triggered by overwhelming boredom. I would not be surprised at all if the entire population went mad with it and started acting out in the same stupid and bizarre way as this woman. Canada is ripe for fascism.
