I lived in the north myself and hated winter. I get it. Now I live in American deep south and no winter for me but during July August I suffer the heat humidity.

Politicians have got us in a deep hole where no return. I used to rent a 1bdrm for $500, now it's at 1800$ in shitty neighbourhood, had to wait over 20y to get a family doctor, problems keep rising without solution. All they care about is paying our taxes. It's a joke, honestly I won't encourage anyone to come here. Last couple years they brought millions of students who are now in sleeping on streets.

What does it mean to be Canadian I’m confused? Indigenous? After all everyone is an immigrant here. Perhaps if there was no concept of old stock new stock and inequalities that lie so deep, that entitlement oozes from a passive aggressive society with a declining growth population. Immigrants may feel safe to broaden their horizons to the hills of billy. Time to face reality, multiculturalism is a disaster because a society fails to embrace it. Equating to a pathetic coverage to justify the prejudices that run from the past! Get over it! Integration starts from embracing and breaking societal prejudices, but no amount of education can teach you how to become an intelligent human, that is what’s lacking here. Uncultured is an understatement and ignorance is at its core.

Two more ministers to be put under the big Liberal bus taking the fall for their Authoritarian leader. No accountability or responsibility ever taken when the waters get deep, just riding the waves when he’s surfing. Time for change yesterday!

I think everyone is missing the point here. I Don’t support Israel’s retaliation, but I wondered why the Arab world has not taken in a single refugee. Poland didn’t condone Russia’s attack by taking in hundreds of thousands Ukrainian refugees. If Egypt, jordan, Quatar, to name the immediate Arab Neighbors would rally together to get the women and children out of harms way, surely the outcome would be better for these poor people. \n\nSadly this is not the case and it appears as though this conflict will never find a solution, as long as both parties are not able to set aside their millennia aged quarrel, acknowledge each other’s deep roots and belonging to the same land, and accept that they both come from the exact same bloodline. The exact same seed of a man named Abraham. Both parties need not to like or even tolerate each other, but they both need to respect each other’s right to co exist within that space. I’ve heard some disgusting vitriol from both sides, honestly. Both sides have and are behaving like animals. Infact animals are more civil, as their disputes are settled in a more humane manner, without the casualties within their communities. Yet, despite being created in God’s image with the ability of sophisticated communication, both sides are unable to get past their own hurt pride, at least for the sake of the innocent lives that have and continue to be lost on BOTH sides, to finally squash this matter once and for all.\n\nGrowing up I had a cousin . We both were the only Sons of our respective immediate families’, born to identical twin sisters, 3 months apart. From\nA young age everything was competition between us. Who ran faster, jumped higher, threw further. Every thing we did, and we spent a lot of time around each other, was constantly turned into a “who does it better”. This resulted in us usually throwing down as one of us, feeling like we may be on the losing end of any given task, would just get frustrated, and start soccer punching the other. And my cousin and I from the time were off the diary to the day we both matured, would THROW down. We would literally just start throwing punches at each other, it was honestly impressive how we both would manage to land equal amount of hits to look like literal bloody hell, and guess what, even those fights became competition as even our dads would throw money with the others pitching for their favourite. Fortunately, our moms, the only adults in the our community, looking back, people would just pick a side and watch as go at each other, than pull us off each other, would come stomping out of the house grab each one of us by our ears, gives us a good smack in the back our heads and sit us down, look each one of us straight in the eye, and say something like, “cut it out, you two are family, more brothers than cousins” they would demand that we both go hug it out, have a bath, if we managed to do that peacefully then we were allowed to partake in dessert that evening or allowed to stay up a little later watching tv, or whatever . My point with this overtly personal analogy is that both the Palestinian and the Israeli sides should be dragged off each there by their figurative ears pulled, sat down, scolded and reminded of their ancestrial ties to each other and to the very same land. \n\nBe honest with yourselves, some how amongst all this hate, vitriol, unnecessary death of innocent lives, are you, and those you rally with be truly ok with your opposing side coexisting harmoniously beside each other? If the answer to this question is no, the other side can not have any claim to this land and needs to be removed to god knows where, if not off the earth all together then it’s your people, not mine, that are doomed. We’ll still be chilling in North America, horrified at the unfolding events but chilling nonetheless. Although it somehow claims to not be doing so, the actions of Israel demonstrate a gruelling callousness towards Palestinian life or right to life, and the staunch calls of the constant pro Palestine protests, calling for the eradication of Israel, none absent of a deep, hate and disgust towards the Jewish people. Both are in need of serious internal reform. Honestly as a complete outsider, SHAME ON BOTH OF YOU. I don’t care who started it, or who said or did what, at this point it is imperil that this end immediately. And as an outsider, I think it’s is important that pressure be applied to both sides to put their weapons down. I don’t recall the last time anyone even mention the Israeli hostages, putting any pressure on Hamas to do the one thing that would definitely appease the Israelis. In the same breathe, Israel needs to be further pressured to stop being so trigger happy and lay off of it. \n\nI can only hope, I guess. In the meantime i should really refrain from ranting on YouTube.

I own 7 companies and out of 7 we deal with leasing and financing, guess what? We getting so many loans default by professionals like Architects, IT , P.Eng, Plant Managers , POM, Directors are applying for loans over $350k and defaulting cause they all moving out of Canada ??! The hole ?️ Canada ?? has Dug is too deep to overcome plus lots of private loans for mortgage downpayments are defaulting, lots of loan payments are defaulting and 49Billion Dollars by Govt Funding for small Businesses are due now Jan 18th,2024 which is not going to get paid back so imagine what’s coming! Also not to mention lot’s of mortgages are renewing on Nov ,2024 which is locked at 1.xx% for last 4 years - well, thats going to be something ??? so in this crazy Sunami and Storm ⛈️ I dont want the kids after 12th to get swamped and wiped out of their youth while they should be enjoying their life and freedom as it should! ?

There should be no borders and no man made restrictions on humans. One global peace and justice system should prevail where everyone is free to travel and live...the law breakers and criminals should be dealt with by a global police force. Each single human being should be protected, loved,taken care of and valued as a human...all are children of Adam and Eve...all deserve to be peaceful,happy and free to practice their own religion. Please stop politics of hatred and bloodshed. The greed for oil, gas, valuable energy resources will eventually destroy our mother earth.....a total destruction for all. No surprise there, \n\nCanada is NOT attractive to migrants anymore due to multiple reasons.\n\nSoon a 1 bedroom apartment will probably cost 5000$/month for rent in the Major Cities making it impossible to settle here for newcomers.\n\nThe healthcare system has serious problems due to a lack of Doctors and Nurses who left for better paying jobs in US or Europe.\n\nIf you need immediate Specialist care you will probably have to pay hundreds of dollars just to see someone in the Private sector because the Public Health System has huge waiting lists and is understaffed.\n\nYou won’t be able to get a Government Family Doctor because the remaining ones have thousands of patients already so they’re swamped.\n\nYou can wait even 10 years for a Family Doctor and still won’t get one.\n\nYou can’t be bumped up on waiting lists for Doctors or Specialists even if you are in a critical condition because you aren’t a Celebrity / Politician / Millionaire.\n\nOnly those with a lot of money, status, power get immediate medical attention in case of an emergency.\n\nMost of the traditional medical costs like and eye exam, treating an ingrown toe nail, Physiatrie treatment are NOT covered by the Provinces anymore so you will have to pay out of pocket hundreds of dollars again.\n\nSome Provinces are already copying the US healthcare system which is 100% Private and for profit so don’t be surprised if you you’re gonna have to pay even for an infusion.\n\nThe minimum wage is only 15$/hour in most provinces when in reality you need at least 40$/hour to survive the ridiculous cost of living.\n\nYour typical salary will go 45% to taxes and 45% to rent leaving almost nothing for food / bills / gas / insurance etc. \n\nYou will struggle to make ends meet and possibly starve a week or two every month just to say that you’re “Canadian” \n\nThat is the sad reality but Canada is in a deep hole right now.\n\nUK is in a similar situation too.

I'm so glad to finally see people talking about this issue. I'm originally from Africa, but I was raised in the US, so spent most of my life in the country (35+ yrs). And, I felt this deep loneliness even as a child. I would cry whenever we went back home to visit and it was time to go back to the US, and I would be really depressed for quite a while after getting back to the US. I never felt that life was normal, and everytime we met a new immigrant, I remember thinking to myself, even as a child or teenager that they just don't know the trap they are getting themselves into. Kudos to you for speaking up about this.

This change is taking place across the entire Western world, from Europe, to Canada, to Australia and New Zealand, to the USA. It's also not an accident, and things *WILL* continue to get worse until all of you people wake up and realize what the root cause of all these problems is: non-Western mass immigration.\n\nThe time for being polite is long past. Enjoyed your video and yes, you are likeable and skilled enough for sure. And what are the most popular countries they 'flee' to? We are Belgian, living on Vancouver Island since 2000 and I do feel you, many good points and we are certainly considering the 'leaving' option. Portugal comes to mind cause we do mis 'real' people, as you mentioned, hard to make deep, long lasting friends. Here I learned that every moment, encounter and meeting is unique and so to are the people you get to know, they vanish if you don't keep up. Back to Europe, not back to Belgium.

The United States is in a Major Change! The Deep State has Black Mailed Biden to let these Migrants in! The fact that Canada is horribly unaffordable and you can't just walk in and get a job as a doctor, is not exactly a secret. Did none of those immigrants bother to actually do a bit of reasearch before they came here? Or did they come based on the word on the streets that trudeau loves to hand out free money? When my parents came here they consulted friends that were already here and ensured jobs were secured before they stepped on that boat. I have family that simply moved from one province to another that did a deep dive on housing, labor market, cost of living and health care, and secured a job, before moving. The immigrants now just think they can step out of the airport and be handed keys to a new home and their preferred job. Their fault.

I'm Canadian. I was born here, raised here, and have lived here all my life. However, my parents are American (they came during the Vietnam war), and I have full dual citizenship. I could cross the border into the U.S., get a job, start working and live there for the rest of my life if I ever chose to do so.\n\nHowever, I will never live in the U.S. Why? The cost of healthcare insurance and healthcare in general is definitely a part of that, but another huge factor is the socio-political atmosphere down there that is very unappealing to me. Everything from politics, the gun issue, much higher violence than we have in Canada, more racism issues, the media, and from what I have observed from decades of visits to the U.S.: there just seems to be a lot more people that are on edge and hostile than I am used to compared to Canada as well. For me, the general culture and mindset is just not something I want to live amongst.\n\nThere are some things I enjoy in the U.S., and there ARE wonderful people there too. I have several friends in the U.S. (born and raised), not to mention my entire extended family is American. But for me, the U.S. is a nice enough place to visit, but it's not somewhere I'd ever want to live.\n\nNo matter what kind of trip I take to the U.S., whenever I get back home to Canada it's always like a deep sigh of relief. I feel safer. I feel more relaxed. I feel at home. No matter how good my trip was, when I set foot back on Canadian soil again I always get a feeling of humble gratitude that I live here. For me, other than the warmer weather and some of the sights the U.S. has to offer, I'm much, much happier in Canada. I feel very fortunate to live here.\n\nAs a side note, I have never found our public healthcare system here in Canada to be lacking whatsoever. Any healthcare I, or anyone else I know that has received any, has always been prompt, of excellent quality, and reassuringly delivered in a professional manner.\n\nAs an example, in 1994, my father had a seizure and it was discovered that he had a benign brain tumour that had to be removed. Not even a week later, he was booked for his surgery and he had his procedure. He was operated on by one of the top two neurosurgeons in North America at the time, he spent three weeks in recovery at the hospital, and he had months of rehab afterward. About 2 weeks later, he had another seizure (the last one he ever had), he stayed in another hospital for an additional two weeks.\n\nHowever, all of what I just mentioned, and I mean ALL of it, was paid for by our public healthcare system. All he had to do was show his healthcare card and sign a release form for his surgery, and that was it. Nothing more. There were literally ZERO bills, no insurance companies, no paperwork, no phone calls, and ZERO hassle. Nothing.\n\nAnd no, our family was NOT rich or privileged either. Just an average middle class family. However, my dad's neurosurgeon told us his surgery and all the months of care he received afterward would have cost $180,000 (in 1994!), and our family would have been out on the street if it wasn't for our healthcare system. My dad also had a very minor heart attack in 2007 which didn't require surgery, and he didn't have to pay a dime or do anything else other than show his healthcare card for that either. Since those two events, my father has lived a healthy, normal life thanks to our public healthcare.\n\nIn Canada, EVERYONE receives that kind of care, regardless of if they are a billionaire or they are homeless. Because that's the moral and ethical thing to do, and is just one of the many reasons why I plan on staying here.

Know where you are going to work, know your host company, if you can’t find out by yourself, please ASK people who have been there, they can help you. \n2: Use appropriate agents (can you use eligible organizations instead of these one to one agent’s?) \n3: Make sure you follow the government procedures guys!!! (This keeps you on a safer place!!!!!!) many people skip this in the name of ‘janja janja’ just to get there. But if you follow the procedures and do the paperwork, guys huwezi tu kuenda mahali.\n4: KNOW YOUR HOST COMPANY! (Do research ? make sure it’s a legal company), UNDERSTAND YOUR CONTRACT before you choose to travel. Please this is very important. You can seek deep information about what you are going to do, information is everywhere guys. SEEK information. Many people just want to go ‘majuu’ but they don’t seek information yawa??‍♀️\n5: Lower your expectations (you can’t just blossom in two months). Usikuje na idea at ohhh I will be investing home blah blah! Manze, pia huku kuna bills, the rents, the TAXES, you still need to eat and your whole welfare! \nAnd don’t go majuu thinking things are easy there, NOOO guys It’s never easy! People just SURVIVE ?.

What you did not say is , recently, Toronto elected a communist mayor as well. Mind you, the one she replaced was no roaring hell either and as deep state as you can get.

I’m with my fellow Canadians, I’ll visit the US (although even then, it’s beginning to look less and less ideal) but over my dead body would I live there. \nThe fact you have become desensitized and don’t discuss school shootings is baffling. 4 or 5 years ago, there was a shooting where I live in Canada. The whole city was on lock down. I believe one elderly woman died, and 3 were injured. The person was caught, arrested, and is rotting away in jail. It hasn’t happened since. People still remember it. My little sister and I were scared, so we hid in my bedrooms closet. (It was on the second floor, and there was no way anybody could break in and get up there easily.)\n\nHealthcare is a huge issue. My family has a long line of health issues, and with that in mind, the risk is just to obscene.\n\nI am a woman. The fact that laws are being stripped away from us by old white men who have no idea what it is like to be a woman in the states is horrifying. \n\nGun culture. It’s near-on impossible or at least it’s incredibly difficult to get guns here. Owning guns isn’t respected. When people die from being shot, it’s remembered and spoken about, even years later. At least to me, it seems you care more for your Guns and the rights to own and use them, then Women who want to have bodily autonomy.\n\nYour political issues. I don’t even know what to say at this point beyond. The entire senate is rich old straight white men who like to make laws about groups they aren’t part of, and strip laws away from others. You basically have two polar opposite sides of the political spectrum and that alone, divides people so deep they can’t even be in the same room for more then 10 seconds.\n\n\nI’m Part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Enough said. \n\nI’m well aware that not everyone in the US is like this. But in my eyes, that’s more then enough to deter me. I’m glad you decided to take a look at this, and see our reactions to the questions. And I’m glad you didn’t take offence to the harsh or bitter answers. Sure Canada isn’t perfect, but it’s better in enough ways to keep me much preferring staying here.

Seriously we have a hard time understanding the American view point when it comes to guns. No offence but with the number of school shootings per year in the US and the deep seeded need to be able to own a gun , it appears that your country values gun ownership over child safety . Which is just mind blowing. Don’t get me wrong we have school shooting too, And other types of violence in schools, nowhere near what is happening south of our border . But , from our perspective the numbers speak for themselves. Just look how many have happened so far in 2023. ✌️? * just Google “ School shootings 2023 by country” . We worry for your children every day.

First, I want to thank you for making this video. The health of a country, or the health of an individual which are clearly linked, is dependent on our ability to see ourselves and each other, and make necessary changes to improve in the areas that we lack personally, and as communities in our beautiful country of Canada and other countries as well. Well, it’s a work in progress. I appreciate how you’ve inspired us to speak about things that aren’t necessarily spoken about. At least not where I live and have lived in Canada. Thank you so much for that opportunity. It doesn’t matter about my opinion. What matters is sharing our own thoughts, feelings, and experiences because they aren’t debatable. \n\nWe are in violation of Multiple Human Rights violations against Inuit , Indigenous and Métis people by the United Nations. Most have no water to drink—not even boiled water and bottled water is available sometimes when it’s brought to reservations . Children don’t have the same access to books. So many thousands of bodies of children taken to residential schools from their parents arms and community for over 160 years yet the deep wounds aren’t given compassion by most people anymore and systemic abuse actively impacts them and therefore all of Us . We are all one whether we see people as other’ or not. We’re humans. \n They’re not seen in media unless it’s a bad story yet we’re only now teaching one mandatory class by non indigenous people. Solution: elders teach their grandchildren languages that weren’t erased by genocide and environmental /spiritual cultural practices and lifestyles before they’re gone by paying first people elders and streaming it into all Canadian classrooms so the children can see a future where they’re valued and all Canadian kids can get a full education and learn accurate history. Making canoes, baskets, sacred ceremonies, food growing (that they taught to pilgrims so they’d survive here), etc. No, I’m not indigenous. I’m an immigrant like all but the first people. They’ve an amazing culture that’s been all but lost . When we don’t see ourselves represented in any media, any careers, and start our lives in extended poverty based on our race, and all that was taken still today, it’s no wonder the teen suicide rate for indigenous youth is more than double / triple all non - indigenous youth. The numbers are growing. \nI live in Care due to my physical disabilities . An international nursing student worked for me providing personal care like showers, meal prep etc and over that year, she said she wouldn’t have moved here specifically because of a few things I’ve mentioned. She told me Canada was sold to people in her country of origin as a ‘multicultural’ safe haven without extreme racism still prevalent today and within our history. \n\nI’m ashamed of Canadian government promises for over 100 years that aren’t fulfilled. All children deserve healthy drinking Water and an education. Period. Especially, the ambassadors of this amazing land that they see as themselves without separation. That’s accurate. We will have nothing to stand upon if we don’t protect the earth. It will go on without us. \n\nI see many things in the comments I’ve seen or experienced, unfortunately. This is a beautiful country for so many reasons. Canada is well represented around the world. But you don't really know someone until you live with them. This country basically shuts down for at least 4 months a year during the winter. Sure people still do stuff but any Canadian can agree that winter, compared to the other seasons is night and day. \n\nIt sells itself well in real estate especially with foreign investors but deep down nobody really wants to live here Jan-April. \n\nPersonally I moved to the states cause I'm in a field that presented better opportunities, better pay, better quality of life year round, cheaper life in general without huge taxes.\n\nThat's the trade off, either work more and not deal with winters or deal with winter and get some support for not working as much.

These ladies are learning about tax and spend liberalism. There is NEVER enough tax money. You take Quebec that has the highest taxes in North America. They also run the weed sales, the casinos, and all the alcohol sales, and they are still deep in debt. Whatever you are paying in taxes is never enough. It doesn't take much digging to figure out why. The government administration in every ministry is bloated with people who do very little to add value but get paid big salaries. They can't be fired no matter how bad the economy gets or how badly they perform their job. They are also guaranteed a generous retirement that private workers do not get. You are working to support a parasitic class that feed off of your hard work.

Why didn't they unload on them? Any other country probably would have. Where are they going to live? Our fields and forests are being razed. There's other ways to go about this. EVERYONE knows that if you need to sneak in somewhere than you're doing something wrong. America has enough problems as is. Not just with other countries but the one's that are deep inside our borders. Let's start by not hating women which can be broken into subcategories like getting paid as much as a male coworker and reproductive rights. Now their country's are aligning with all of the other countries that hate us. We need to know WHO we're letting in.

It hit me hard that I loved the idea. But the next day, I took a very deep thought about the grass always seeming greener at the other side. I noticed here in Qatar life is not what I had anticipated, why now risk of going to Canada with the same hopes of a better life and pay? I discussed it with my wife back home (Uganda) and told her I would rather stay in Qatar and focus then go back home as my children need me more than they need the money I think I will get. I don't think higher tax rate is a good point when you compare it to a country like Nigeria. The maximum tax rate you can pay in Nigeria is 24% and it begins from anything from 5.6 million naira per annum. After paying that tax you pay for the school fees of your children, and you pay that 3 times every year, Asides school fees you buy generator and fuel it everyday to get something close to constant power supply. (I don't want to include healthcare because if you have a good HMO they will sort out that perfectly well)\nSome of us still pay security due if you live in an estate. \n\nThe point I am trying to make is that if your tax rate is high let's say to up to 50% and you are sure of the quality of education your children is getting in public schools so you don't have to pay for school fees, You don't have to buy generator and fuel it because there's constant electricity supply and there's good security so you don't have to pay for private security. You might realized that tax rate in Canada is effectively cheaper than here in Nigeria. Because you will still pay for school fees, generator and maintenance and private security and all these have a way of eating deep into your income.

Oh this is how every Indian official gov workers behaves, at least 90% of them. While we don't know the full version here, I'll share mine.\nI've waited for hour outside the entrance door along with others where we don't have waiting chairs so had to sit on steps where people pass by even though we all came at the right time that was written on our papers. Then I had to wait about 3 more hours for my appointment chance and then they checked my docs and decided that I don't have two particular doc which isn't even that important these days, but he didn't say that at once, we got first doc and then he said I need another doc. so I had to wait for 3 more hours to get mine as (we had to go to school and get that doc) while all other people like those grandparents, job applicants and farmers got their passports and visas. *sighing*\nI still remember the attitude of that officer, It's like he was just there and I was just waiting his time, and he was just reminding me that his work time was about to be done and that he needs to go. \nI don't understand how the gov offices works, we have tons of population and of course tons of applications that needs to be done for work, yet the gov office working hours just 6-6.5 hours? I’m a Canadian Citizen through my parent since age 5 years old and has lived in Canada almost of my life getting tired of how the system worked, deep down it’s like socialism system through the world it’s a greater country to visit but to live and raise your family it’s really a struggle almost in any aspects of area . Even though I’m working as a nursing field I realized Canada it’s really tough on work employment really discrimination etc….I’m here in USA so much freedom and life seems much decent living as long you know how to narrow it and live a peaceful life . They are advising me to adopt this route as I already got US visit visa valid upto sep 22.it is understood that I v to quit medical field and ve to adopt some other practical field .Kindly guide b/ c ur guidance will be of greater help to me in this regard allah Hafiz

People think that living in foreign countries us good and relaxing and you enjoy a lot. Well this is not true. I have one of my friends who told me the way he lives and works and studies in Canada. Believe me, you won't like to hear what he told me. He does two part time jobs starting from morning to afternoon at 3 and does another one from 4 to 8 and he barely gets 4 to 5 hours to study. At times when there are exams or tests in the college, he has to skip the work and go to the College but when he skips, he feels from deep inside that for today I don't have even this amount of money and believe me, staying in Canada or any other county is not as easy as eating a plate of rice and on the first time when you go to look for a job, you will get it at McDonald's or any type of restaurants. And the work my friend does is to cut meat at McDonald's in Canada.
