Isn't it already super restrictive and not easy to get into the country for the immigrants? Only highly educated, young people with rich parents are welcomed lol. Hello, I live in BC, Canada. Canada is currently in a very rough state, and I can only hope things will improve soon. One of the biggest issues is the rampant, uncontrolled immigration. The government invited a flood of people into the country without having the necessary infrastructure in place—jobs, healthcare, housing—to support them. Now they're trying to cap immigration, hoping for a turnaround, but it's like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.\n\nCanada's drug and crime policies are an absolute joke. I also have an Instagram account where many students ask me about studying in Canada. I always tell them that if they're doing well in India, they should stay there. The problem isn't just with India's education system—it's with the unrealistic mindset of people wanting to come to Canada.\n\nWe see students desperately going from one store to another, begging for jobs that simply aren't there. Some even sell their land or property, especially in Punjab, thinking they'll find a better life here. But right now, it's just not worth it. When I advise others, they think we're living the dream in Canada while trying to stop them from coming. I moved to Canada 12 years ago, and the country has changed beyond recognition.

I moved to USA with my wife in 2022. Initially we felt very good being in a developed country. But eventually we started seeing the realty. In movies, USA is shown as the perfect place to be. Cops, healthcare, services, quality of life, everything. We reality is opposite. So many homelessness, theft, cops won't even take action, car breaks, expensive healthcare. I was shocked that USA isn't as perfect as advertised! The loneliness is so bad that US surgeon general declared loneliness as epidemic!! Mental health issues, so much depression, drugs. What is mental health I got to know only after being in USA. Seeing the reality of USA, me and my wife decided to move back to India in early 2024. We have started appreciating India alot! The kind of growth India is witnessing in last 10 years is mindboggling. Infact India is much ahead of USA in many things. Honestly we felt we downgraded our lifestyle when we moved to USA.

And other Canadian cities could stop collecting garbage all the time and not fix their roads because many people can't afford to pay their property taxes due to high employment. The globalists want 15 minutes cities. The federal government is assuming massive immigration will solve Canada's aging population. It won't. Health care is actually better in 2nd and 3rd countries if you have the money. Even if your home country is at war, it's still better than the drug crisis in the major cities of Canada. No joke. Canadian Born people in Brampton aren't jobless because there are immigrants. They are jobless because they have no education and there isn't a lot of work out there apparently. Crime isn't related to the Indian population. It is related to no work, no education, living in the streets and doing drugs so once again, to Canadian Born people. Canada brings in immigrants to poorer non profitable (not paying taxes because not contributing) neighborhoods for clean up! The Indians 'living well' are being funded from India to be able to pay for school, they are also living too many in a house to minimize costs. Almost certain that girl screaming at 1am is my old neighbour who went missing from august 2023-feb 2024. My wife and I heard that she was found safe and we hoped she was doing better and clean but unfortunately it isn’t the case it seems ? sad she was a really nice person before her life went downhill and she turn to drugs ?

Speaking as someone living in South Vancouver, here are two rules I live by:\n\n1) Never leave your bike outside for extended periods of time. Especially closer to a downtown area because it will get stolen. If thieves can't get through your lock, they'll just strip the bike everything that isn't locked down. It's actually very common to see just a bike frame locked to something while missing every other part. \n\n2) Don't go to downtown Vancouver as it's drug city. It's the one downtown area in metro Vancouver that I say has zero redeeming factors. All the other neighbouring cities are nice, with Richmond in my opinion being the best of the bunch, but downtown Vancouver? It's the closest experience to Seattle in Canada that you'll find.

Well I hope you aren't considering the U.S.A. when it comes to Hate crimes. I can understand why people want to leave or not come to Canada, weather, cold weather can last up to six months and the summer isn’t always that great. Another reason, taxes…. Canadians are taxed to death here, you are taxed on everything here and if you make good money and aren’t paying enough taxes, you could pay a good chunk come tax time. Job market sucks, there are lots of jobs but these jobs don’t pay the greatest. Cost of living has skyrocketed over the years and in my personal opinion, since Justin Trudeau has been PM, everything has doubled in cost, so many people are struggling, many young couples can’t afford a house, rent has been on the rise over the years and so many people rely on the food banks, the highest it’s ever been in Canadian history, crime has gone up and drug use has also gone up and oddly enough, ever since Trudeau has been in charge and I’m sure some will disagree with this but Canada was never like this before Trudeau.

People make mistakes comparing Canada with America. In Canada even to get survival jobs without a work permit isn’t easy. You need a work permit. No under the table jobs available and employers here don’t want to risk employing people under the table because they do not want to risk being fined after they get caught. Canada has also housing crisis even for Canadians. Shelters are mostly designed for people experiencing homelessness and also living with drugs and alcohol addiction. In USA you can live and work when you are still illegal not the same in Canada. Do your research before you get on a plane to Canada.

Most Republicans will still argue that the world isn’t overpopulated, but they don’t seem to consider that many countries aren’t nice enough to live in. So if you take all the people and cram them into the areas that are fit to live in and that aren’t overcome by climate change and corruption, are we overpopulated then? Would you want to live in the middle of Nebraska? There’s plenty of space out there. We have to stop producing more humans. We’ve reached a crisis point. Please consider a childfree lifestyle. It’s okay if one or two generations need to suffer in their older years in order to get things under control. We can’t just continue producing more people to pay the Social Security of the upcoming generations. That’s ridonckulous. (I say that as a 49-year-old who will retire in 13 years.) And we need to legalize all drugs so that the drug cartels in Central and South America will die out and these people can live in peace in their own lands.

The country is being invaded. I’m from Miami and moved up to Toronto in 2012. I’ve slowly watched this city decline in every way possible. Gun crime, drugs, prostitution etc. The whole gay and trans movement is outta control too. That being said the violence isn’t even close to what I grew up around back home. There’s a lot of wannabe gangs out here. I used be gang affiliated and I’ve met ALOT of fake thugs out here. Everytime I look at Canada I tell myself wow, what a beautiful country, but then I realized how depressing life is here in Canada. As an immigrant I have so many thing to be thankful for living in Canada,but also so many more things why I am planning to leave. Housing is unexplainablly expensive, cost of living is going too high for wags to catch up, drug problem visible in every city, mediocre jobs , unwilling government that has zero Desire to make this country grow to its full potential the list is endless.
