Stats canada needs to objectively analyze and if rules permit share evidence of “brown truck drivers from india only” VS others being reckless or occasionally reckless leading to consequences. \n\nSubjectively speaking it sounds about right & freaking scary how they drive on 401 Montreal to Toronto. \n\nUnfortunately in many parts of the subcontinent this is how they drive. Yesterday Chinese, today Indians. However, I am not sure if Indian birth rate in India will decrease someday like Chinese birth rate in China. I don't mind Indian immigrants moving to Canada. All that concerns me is that the Indians keep reproducing that mess up their own country and move to a new country to continue contributing to the overpopulation issue.

There is a habit or a custom or an unspoken and unarticulated practice in Canada to leave everyone alone. I think that the underlying idea is to show respect to others by giving others space. I think that it might be perceived by newcomers who come from other cultures as being rejected or not liked. Most Canadians keep to themselves and mind their own business and this means that it is difficult to make friends. It is not just newcomers to Canada that have a hard time making Canadian friends. Canadians who were born in Canada also have a hard time meeting new people and making new friends.

What a great video. For my personal experience the current recession and how it has affected the job market and the interest rates (inflation) is the root cause of all this. I also came as student BEFORE COVID and it was also hard to study and work to keep up with your basic expenses BUT at least there were jobs. Now the problem is the lack of jobs. Criminality is very relative and as you mentioned depends of your own expectation and environment prior arriving to Canada. The homeless and drug adicts problem is really concerning, specially here in Vancouver where I live. What I do is avoiding the downtown as much as I can. I would not mind to live in a smaller city or town as long as the salaries are good enough however the problem is that the living cost there are as high as here in the cities.

what is important is that how many of those leaving Canada are Indians ! Most of the immigrants that leave Canada are not from India. As Canadian born raised here we've tremdious growth over the decades specially inside areas outside the GTA. One the biggest issues facing everyone here besides immigrants is taxes / inflation. Our government only looks at those coming from India as cash cow to keep things rolling economically more people more taxes are paid. Canada needs to start being more economic minded by reducing all taxes abroad to make cost of living more affordable.

I'm a Brit who has lived here 13 years and my advice to any Brit thinking of moving here is not to. If you can live in a nice county and you have a decent job you are better off in the UK. There is a lot of decline in urban areas here, tweaking drug addicts and tent encampments the likes the UK has NEVER seen. It's incredibly expensive to rent if you want to live anywhere remotely interesting. The infrastructure is so bad, unless you have a vehicle or lots of money to keep flying, you will feel incredibly isolated here. Brits are lucky to have such a great network of public transport and close proximity to Europe and all the cheap flights to get you around there. The work life balance is not as good as the UK. Most jobs here will start you on 2 weeks a year and only increase as your service grows. So after 5 years of service you will get 3 weeks and so on. Don't expect 5 weeks vacation until you have put 20 years in with most jobs. Canada is boring, it really is and so are most Canadians who also seem to have no idea what a sense of humour is. I have found new immigrants to be the friendliest, especially those from China, India, Vietnam and the Philippines. Now to the wokeness of the place, oh gosh, it's so bad. The Alberta premier has just announced very sensible and much needed gender reforms which 95% of Canadians agree with. These reforms will protect young gay kids mostly. The left have completely lost their mind over this. Women here are in genuine fear of speaking out regarding their privacy and rights to single sex spaces and sports. In the UK , this is slowly improving I believe. I'm putting things in place so I can leave. I hope things improve once the liberal government are gone but it will take many years to get this country back on track.

This story is very true. I came to Canada when i was 10. Was raised in Canada and life was great. All that changed in the last 10 years. Everything is sooo expensive you have to cut back on leisure activities that you need to keep your mind healthy after a long work week. All i did was work long hours for the necessities for me and my family. After a long conversation about a year ago with my wife, we decided to move back to Portugal (I have dual citizenship). We moved this past summer and couldnt be happier. Life here is much more laid back and you are not charged to do the simple leisure activities like going to a provincial park. Food is cheaper, housing is cheaper, insurance is cheaper and weather is 100x better. No more having to hibernate at home in the winters. Only thing i found more expensive here was electronics and fuel. Something needs to change in Canada.

I think your reading of the situation is slight from the wrong end of scope. \n\n1> the job of the Canadian gov is to look after Canadians. (Yes they allow immigrants but that is for the benefit of Canadians and not the other way around. \n\nThe house prices are intentionally kept high. The reason is because it makes existing citizens richer. (Year on year) these people vote and the gov would like their vote) . Creating huge supply of housing is going to crash the market and that will end up people feeling poor. (Values will drop : demand and supply) . My family moved 22 years ago from Mumbai to Toronto…while the struggles said on your channel are real, there are also perks which I feel like you didn’t get to experience. If people have good jobs, stable family life then DON’T move…culture shock is huge that people moving from India don’t consider, just by wearing and eating western food doesn’t make you western! \nThere are sacrifices to be expected which you don’t realized as your great grandparents or grandparents might have made when they started out! \nMoving to another country is never easy, unless you’re loaded with $$$. People in India are lazy as they have people working for them and don’t realize how difficult it is living outside of that lifestyle (not everyone in India can afford housekeepers, cleaners). Being independent and doing things on your own has its own positive (just need to figure it out). \n\nI have worked in healthcare for 16 years and let me tell you…social system works better as everyone gets the health service without being judged about $$. Healthcare is based on priority around the world but people don’t understand this as they feel like their problem should be attended first no matter what! \nNot all drugs are legal in Canada, marijuana is legal though with acceptable limits…you probably were misinformed about drugs! Teach your kids about right /wrong when it comes to drugs, smoking, alcohol and that’s the best you can do! I know people who live in India and do all that which you mentioned you were worried about for your kids. \n\nWhat you experienced was a classic case of culture shock and your expectations didn’t match the reality! Moving away from family, changing lifestyle and being responsible adult (doing things on your own rather than relying on workers) is difficult but doesn’t make the country bad that have you an opportunity to settle! Things usually turn around and get better after 5 years mark- focus on upgrading your education if you have a basic degree from India (even you know how competitive things are in India, so how can western world not be!)\n\nBeing vegetarian- things are tough when it comes to food but living in Toronto has never been an issue. Even people living in India avoid outside food due to hygiene reason which is not a problem in Canada as food inspection is pretty strict (having worked with ministry of health). \nCities like Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, etc has variety of food options (including veg)…just have to be really open to trying other cultural food (Asian, Mediterranean, Italian,Mexican, etc). My parents are strict vegetarians and have never truly struggled when they are out. \n\nCost of living is definitely higher as the standard living is higher compared to India. Education (until grade 12) and healthcare are free (in reality, you pay tax for it), you get pension when you retire (based on your contributions and type of jobs you had)…you failed to navigate the system and I will say having family around is why you didn’t take opportunity to explore and learn on your own. \n\nPlease don’t come to Canada and make life difficult for other Indians who choose to willingly accept the culture and lifestyle here after going through this hardship- cost of living and housing has gone up dramatically in major cities because of immigration influx! If you’re serious about moving and putting up, only then move! Otherwise all the best for your future endeavours!

As a Canadian who never lived in the US but visited often, gojng back again. There are p!aces in the US that we love i.e Arizona on the top. Of course I would keep well secured weapons in my house if we retired in AZ. No p!ace is completely safe especially major cities. Keep this in mind as well that Canada is sparsely populated compared to the US. I would not raise my kids in any major city in Canada either. I have no problem with our friends in America. We choose not to hide but experience life even at some risk.

I felt this video was just a rant about how she could not adjust herself in canada because she had always lead a struggle free and spoon fed life in india. Dude I leave in canada too and all the hardships you described were the least I including many of the people who described their experience leaving here are concerned for but we are fighting against those and struggling and thus now are able to live a stable life. Because we know what it is meant by struggling you had options in india but many belong to the lower middle class life and we don't even get the chance that you just enjoyed and rant about. and yes adjusting in a new country is a hassle but that is something you already have to keep in mind before going there.

11 years ago a trip to the ER in Texas cost close to or more than the cost with insurance than a the cost for an ER visit in NS (for those out of country who are not covered by our provincial program). \n\nWe would pay $50 copay at the ER, then over. The next few days we would receive a bill for the physician, then from pharmacy, then from the facility, then from X-ray, etc, every separate department would have its own portion. \n\nAnd then there was the unpleasant surprise when the doctor who saw you in the ER was not an “in network” doctor even though the hospital was “in network”. Our insurance paid 70% of (approved) in network costs, but only 50% of out of network costs. Keep in mind that “in network” hospitals and providers had lower negotiated rates with the insurance companies. Which meant you would have coverage of 70% of a negotiated lower rate for in network but out of network was 50% of a higher rate.\n\nMy neighbours were lovely people. The culture was much different than I expected. The gun culture really hits you in face. For the first while it seemed to be so obvious - signs on pharmacies, hospitals, and schools that state that guns were not allowed, even with a conceal and carry permit. Very quickly, that became “normal”….\n\nFood was amazing. Gas was cheap. Politics was everywhere. Christian mega churches were everywhere - along with some very vocal overbearing people who force their beliefs and opinions on anyone who is near them. \n\nI was surprised with the number of people who felt it was appropriate to discuss religion, politics, and money with virtual strangers. A lot of very personal questions as well. I am guessing it is the difference between what is considered extremely rude in Canada, vs what is just a regular question in the US (or that area of Texas). \n\nAnd another very different thing was how hardly anyone swore. I had the bottom drop out of a bad carrying glasses when I was in San Antonio, the glasses broke, and I said “Shit.” I have never seen so many heads turn towards me. Most of the females looked at me with complete disgust and a lot of the males laughed. I expect that the American who heard me swear, were thinking I was the rudest person. One of my children’s friends was from Australia and when their mom came over one day, she said something to the effect of “so glad you are Canadian” because she sis not have to worry about offending me if she said fuck. That was a relaxing afternoon.

Completely agree with you. I spent 6 years in Canada and quit. Both me and my husband are highly educated but had to end up with minimum wage jobs to begin with. Winters are brutal. 2013 we experienced minus 40 with snow storms !! And keeping urself PACKED in ur home for months is extremely depressing. Medical facility inspite of being free is a joke !! You are better off getting basic medicines from India. They want to fix everything with Tylenol, that too such low potency that even 20 pills will not make any difference. And just 1 crocin in India and you can run a marathon next day. Education too is pathetic. They need a calculator to add 5 +5 !! Here 6 yr old kids do mental mathematics on 4 figures in their heads !! No university in Canada can even come close to IIT'S, IIM'S and IISC ever. 12th std math and science here in India is probably taught to engineering degree students on Canada. Moreover only Asian kids like Indians, Koreans Chinese kids ever reach university level education the rest are dropouts and busy with sex and drugs and temporary jobs to fend for the same. Mind you there is a lot of racism in Canada. Most whites hate Asians as they think that we have 'snatched' away their jobs !! They don't like it when we end up buying own homes within 2 to 3 yrs of migrating. Grocery is expensive. Commercial dairy products are high on hormones and other chemicals. It's crazy how many women there have issues with their reproductive organs. Hormone related obesity, diabetes is rampant. As she said only if you go there thru a company on projects ect it's alright. Else there is no place like India in every aspect.

Struggle is there without maid and house help initially but if have the willpower it will work out ,you at-least got job within a few months if u had did some courses it would work out . I got job only after an almost a year. I never wanted to stay in basement and it’s very cold and u will get sick We need both husband and wife to get things done and manage things .Thats where u missed out on. U at-least had relatives there we don’t have anyone here . I had my kid also here alone in hospital no help. I am not saying it’s easy nothing will be delivered on a platter here but it’s better than India freedom, lifestyle,groups community and more over value for life.Try again if u want and get a condo or apartment at-least next time.I always loved winters and once u know how to dress and what precautions to take winter is very beautiful. So if anyone is coming to Canada please be open minded and keep in my mind it will take at least 3-5 years to settle in a different country and you can lead a happy life here.

A country, where health care and education are free, in not bad at all. The minimum wage may be low, but you won't have headache for receiving care you desercve when you fall sick. Unlike other fake big country Canada doesn't expose people to this challenge. Neither your kids won't have a mortgage of education on their shoulder after finishing college, which can skrew them up and jeopardize their credit in not finding a job to repay their loans; this is one of the factors that prevent an inividual from social mobility. Keep in mind, one will never have everything he (she) wants in life that has been never easy.

I'm Canadian and worked in Dertoit for almost 10 years, I crossed the border daily working for GM. I've also done work in Louisiana, Indiana and all around Michigan. \nAmerica has some of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. It's a beautiful country and has a ton to offer anyone with an ounce of drive. The variety you have in your economy is amazing, we don't have a lot of choice when we buy stuff, you guys have so much more to choose from, take restaurants for example, I've never seen so many chain restaurants in one place, we have a handful of them. \nFrom what I've seen, there's also a lot of poverty, crime and violence, but that's literally everywhere right now, even here in Canada, we don't prosecute violent crime anymore. The gun issue is probably the biggest problem...I always felt extremely vulnerable out in public, especially driving, because I assumed everyone had a gun on them, I seen so many random guns on people, it just blew my mind. I always had to keep in mind when I was driving not to road-rage...That's how you get shot. The health care industry in America is nothing but a business model designed to bankrupt people. Our system isn't great at all...nothing to boast about. If you have to visit the ER at any hospital, you'd better bring food and water, you'll be there at least 8 hours before you're even seen by a doctor. Our health care is free yes, but we're taxed to death here because of it. I do indeed wish we had a 2-teir health care system, I want the option to pay to get seen soonest. America and Canada have free(ish) speech. We're both being ruled by leftist loonies, but that's all changing in our next respective election cycles. Biden and Trudeau will be shown the door and we can hopefully get back to healthy debate and more conversation in society...Instead of automatically dismissing each other, vitriolic badgering one another and hating each other. We had unity for a brief time, we all saw it, after 9/11 happened. We put our petty crap aside and saw each other as brothers and sisters. That didn't last very long and we've been in a constant state of crisis ever since. The media has driven a huge nail right through society, and takes a blow at every single issue we face, making it Left vs Right...\nIt's unfortunate to say, but it's going to take something truly devastating, possibly on a biblical scale, for us to come together again.

You may have Disney Land (and World) but I live in the original Disney Land which is Huron County, Ontario, Canada as Walt and Roy's dad and grandfather were originally from Bluevale, now Morris-Turnberry Township here in Huron County. The Disney family even has some connected history with our salt mine, the largest operating salt mine on the planet with hoist shafts as deep as the CN tower is tall (roughly 553 m or half a kilometre or less than 1/3 of a Mile) and also had a sawmill, probably close to my first home as a kid outside of Holmesville, Ontario, but I digress.\n\nAs I have stated, I'm Canadian and while I admire some things about your country, I wouldn't live there due to the lack of regulations on firearms (I don't mind people owning guns but they should be qualified and certified with a licence of owning, storing and using them and prohibitions on assault rifles and even semi-automatic weapons) and the lack of universal healthcare. Canada could be doing better as we have those in government trying to privatize our system further and breaking the laws doing it but the Feds aren't really doing anything either. At least we do have healthcare but there are still private systems in place, particularly for optical, dental, pharma and other systems. I also don't care for the American's lack of serious training for police, private prisons and the fact that slavery is alive and well there as well as your politicians' and citizens' insistence on keeping and maintaining capital punishment.

Just keep in mind that averege COL is much higher in canada, especially housing. And lower wages on average.

The whole city was on lock down. I believe one elderly woman died, and 3 were injured. The person was caught, arrested, and is rotting away in jail. It hasn’t happened since. People still remember it. My little sister and I were scared, so we hid in my bedrooms closet. (It was on the second floor, and there was no way anybody could break in and get up there easily.)\n\nHealthcare is a huge issue. The fact that laws are being stripped away from us by old white men who have no idea what it is like to be a woman in the states is horrifying. \n\nGun culture. It’s near-on impossible or at least it’s incredibly difficult to get guns here. Owning guns isn’t respected. When people die from being shot, it’s remembered and spoken about, even years later. At least to me, it seems you care more for your Guns and the rights to own and use them, then Women who want to have bodily autonomy.\n\nYour political issues. I don’t even know what to say at this point beyond. The entire senate is rich old straight white men who like to make laws about groups they aren’t part of, and strip laws away from others. You basically have two polar opposite sides of the political spectrum and that alone, divides people so deep they can’t even be in the same room for more then 10 seconds.\n\n\nI’m Part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Enough said. \n\nI’m well aware that not everyone in the US is like this. But in my eyes, that’s more then enough to deter me. I’m glad you decided to take a look at this, and see our reactions to the questions. And I’m glad you didn’t take offence to the harsh or bitter answers. Sure Canada isn’t perfect, but it’s better in enough ways to keep me much preferring staying here.

Tyler, thanks for your entertaining and fun videos. My grandfather is a dual citizen but has never renewed his passport or anything and when asked to do so, he outright refuses. He says he hated living there. We live in the Vancouver area of Canada right now. My wife is finishing her registered nursing degree and we are considering moving to washington state, within an hour or so of the Canadian border on temporary work visas (TN1) for a few years. The main reason is the cost of living differences, mostly in housing but a lot of things are cheaper down there too. For example though, the costs of rent or to buy a house in the Vancouver area is insane - 1.5 million is generally a starting point. The cost of a detached house south of the border between Bellingham and Blaine starts around $400,000 ($500,000 CDN). If renting, it's crazy cheaper than here. \n\nThe area we are considering going to is very close to the canadian border, I've never heard of major violence problems in the area. Like one of the other comments you read, we're basically considering moving there to take advantage of a lower cost of living and higher salaries for a bit to try to get ahead. Living in the Vancouver area is such an absolute DRAIN on our finances that it is intolerable. If we didn't move to the US, we'd have to find another place in Canada to go to, but we do like the climate on the coast here. I'd actually just keep commuting to Canada daily to work in Canada since it's so close to the border, and writing the bar exam to be able to practice law in any US state except California, Massachusets, or New York is a pain in the backside to even be able to write it, let alone prepare for it. Just easier for me to keep working here unless we decided to try to make a permanent move somewhere further from the border.\n\nIf we decided to change our minds and apply to stay in the US in the future, there are a lot of the other considerations that other people have raised on top of my own ability to continue as a lawyer. Gun violence in the US is crazy, extreme polarized political views and increasing intolerance against diversity of race, culture, religion, (and while it doesnt affect us directly, it bothers us how LGBTQ people are increasingly targeted with backwards policies and by certain segments of the public), the health care system in canada has it's problems but it's also got it's strong points. We'll never go bankrupt because of a health care issue since we can move back to Canada IF it's ever a problem. Thankfully we are all pretty healthy so it shouldn't be much of a problem for a while at least. And we wouldn't even move there at all if her employment as a nurse doesn't offer health care and better pay than she can obtain here. \n\nOur kids will probably attend post-secondary (college/university) in Canada as dual citizens unless they get a scholarship to a top US school. The costs of post-secondary in Canada appears to be much cheaper than in the US and we have some good colleges/universities that consistently rank high globally.

I am Canadian, I was born here in the 60's, I've travelled around the world, including the US but have always lived and worked in Canada. I love my country. saying that now....\nThe last 10 years for Canada has been the worst ever in history, our government has destroyed the foundation of what it means to be Canadian and has made this country look very bad on the world stage.\nEventually that will change. This currently gives reasons why a Canadian wants to move from Canada.\nYou are right about the US, there are places you can move to that offer quiet, country, safe living but like Canada, those places usually trade the good life for lack of opportunity.. the difference is most of Canada gives you the good life and opportunity in the same place. A good example, Billings Montana or Red Deer Alberta... if you compare the 2, they are close, but overall life in Red Deer would be better.\nCulture has changed thoughts too, I could never get used to seeing anyone other that law enforcement carrying a gun.. I realize Americans have the right to carry guns.... but why? are you being invaded?\nI will pick up a gun if i need too in order to protect my country, but I don't need to prove it by displaying it in public. Keep in mind, Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in the past put on black-face on multiple occasions. Canada's liberal voters knowingly elected him twice despite his past black-face appearances. Recently as their P.M., he condemned Uganda, Kenya and other African nations - arrogantly pushing his Western 'Superiority' in the name of standing up for LGBTQ+ rights. Yet he's never vocally condemned Islamic nations for the exact same reasons.

Go look at Ontario and do more research about Canada Before you start taking. You or going to take the word from one black women. Keep in mind what is the population for blacks in Canada? Or Out in Edmonton? there is a very small black populations if you come out to Toronto Ontario come out east To Ontario than come and Re Visit that racial Discrimination. In these kind of comparaisons, it's always important to keep in mind that Canada has 10 provinces and 3 territories. Each province and territory have their own way of doing things. So it's pretty much like 13 countries into 1. One thing in Ontario is not gonna be the same as in BC for example. So, whatever someone experiences in Ontario will not be the same elsewhere. Like taxes for example, it's different from 1 province to another. So, it's best for someone who wants to move to Canada to do their research on each province because they do things differently from one another. \n\nAlso in terms of traveling to countries that are closer, yes the UK gets a point because all the other European countries are closer. But in Canada, when you leave a province for another one it sometimes feels like you left for another country ? . Besides the US and Mexico, Canadian also go to Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Brasil, Argentina, Turks and Caicos(lots of Canadian go there that at one point the island was even considering becoming the 11th province of Canada ?) .\n\nIn terms of diversity, it's not that much different from the UK. All the big cities are very diverse, just like the UK. Also, Toronto is the most diverse city in the world.

Canada’s biggest problem is it’s socialistic policies of the Liberal governments. Don’t confuse things: social programs like education and healthcare are not an exclusive marker of socialism. The balance of government interference in the economy IS. Nobody in their right mind would start a business in Canada today. \n\nSecondly, running a business means buy and resell, manufacture and sell leaving a profit. But the business of running Canada is losing money. The formula of running the country doesn’t work. We go deeper into debt every year, now to the point where it’s impossible to grow out of debt. As we allow massive immigration to counteract an aging, non-productive population, because of that negative formula, we just keep going deeper and deeper into debt. But it seems that most Canadians want that because we keep voting in the ‘robbers’. It’s time for Canadians to understand that soon a death tax will come in where all your asset value in taxes will go to the government. But that’s coming and is the only way for the government to pay down its debt.

The danger aspect of this is false, the city of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada (as of April 6th) has a murder rate 6.5 times higher than New York City's and it is also much higher than Atlanta's, keep in mind Atlanta and NYC both have gang wars going on currently (Oshawa, Ontario does not) and their murder rates are still much lower. Also, home invasions and break-ins are very common in Canada and drugs are also extremely common. Aba and Preach are both from extremely safe parts of Canada (Ottawa and Montreal). It is irresponsible to box Canada into one, especially when it could ruin lives.

Well done! But keep in mind that Toronto is far different from other parts of Ontario, and Ontario is far different from the rest of Canada. Each province has its own culture. Many from eastern Canada joking say people from Ontario are Onterrible*

So if in Canada you earn $100,000 and pay 40K to taxes and you have someone in another country that makes 10,000$ and pays zero taxes, who is better off? \nand keep in mind, employees don't actually pay any taxes, they are paid by the employer. The reason that employee makes 100K is because the 40k in tax deductions. If the tax rate was zero, that same employee will be making 60K and will be in the same position financially wise. So tax rates are irrelevant in Canada. the higher tax rates is why people here make stupid high salaries. I know dummies with no education making 80-90K per year.

@CitImmCanada -I came to Canada in 2018 , paid my Tutiom fees working day and night offf , completed my graduation in 2020.I worked as manager in gas station from 2020-2022 during pandemic putting my life on risk , you guys first messed your immigration system during pandemic,after pandemic you got this absurd system of TR2PR , messed up your own system , in which there are Still millions of files pending , then you guys stopped the immigration for 1 year, still I thought it would get better with the time. When the immigration started back in this July the scores were so high that only PHD and people outside Canada with 0 canadian skills can only get the PR. You guys then gave visas to Afghanis , Ukrainians (the fake humanitarian help your government provides )which I don’t mind but the government should have fixed the people who are and we’re here , who came as students , who has all the details of the individuals , has all the experience needed , has all the potential needed to start the career , has 0 criminal record but no you guys keeps getting new and messed up plans. like seriously this country and system is run by this type of people. I am gonna be going back to my country soon as I don’t wantt to stay now in Canada. The coming 10 years will be a disaster if your government and people won’t WAKE UP!!!!

I’ve been living in Canada for 5 years now and I can surely say that Canada is loosing it’s beauty. It’s high time government filters the immigrants it’s taking in the country and it needs to focus more on quality rather than quantity ?\nI love Canada and I feel bad seeing it shaping itself in an ugly way. \nI came from India 5 years ago and I can say this was the best decision but at the same time I feel Canada needs to implement this things to new immigrants coming in:\n\n1) Blend in the local culture and enjoy it the way it is and not try to bring the same chaos and stupidity from back home country.\n\n2) More stricter laws against violators (rowdy immigrants)\n\n3) Once they land they should be given an etiquette lesson and good briefing about Canada whichever airport they are on.\n\n\n4) Better speak English at all times so that everyone can understand everything with clarity.\n(P.S: please don’t consider this racist as Canada has people from all round the world)\n\n5) Cultural festivals need to be celebrated in own space keeping in mind the privacy of others and be courteous to others making sure they’re not bothered.\n\n\n6) Not trying to force others to believe your way or follow certain religion etc and be respectful of others. \n\n\n7) Stop complaining and ranting about things they can’t control and not pollute the environment by being careless. \n\n\nI see a lot of my fellow people making mess of things his beautiful country and hence i hope Canada implements the above points so we can have a better and happy society. \n\nCanada is a land of opportunities and yes it has got some flaws in the system but that’s not what we can control. Awww, it's so sad to hear u talk this way....... No country is perfect. Higher taxes means we can take care of the less fortunate and.....I can get an operation whenever I need one and it won't take my life savings to pay for it.\nMinimum wage here is much higher than in the US, so if u think having fun is better over there.....go c for yourself......as well has any kind of healthcare and medication.... nevermind when u have to c a Dr and u pay almost nothing.\nExactly what kind of fun r u missing out on living here??? Taxes are meant to run the country's affaires but people are just mean. You love it when you are broke and are able to benefit free services from the government but when you start making some money and are asked to contribute so that the country can keep up with all it's programs you start complaining. Come back to Africa, there is always a trade-off. No good service and less taxes. Just keep in mind that Africa not developing is our choice otherwise the cost of development is that, in a way ( higher taxes and government's direct control over people's affaires). I thank God anyway that you people can complain of better living condition but I would rather get busy working hard in Canada than not finding a decent job in Africa or bare the cold whether than sleeping hungry in Africa. While not staying that you would be in the worst conditions in Africa, I want you appreciate what you have and remember one truth, so many people in Africa would wish to be in your position. Anyway, you are welcome home. There's still a place for you all. Come help us change our continent for the better.

I'm from Québec, but I love all the provinces of Canada, they are just different from each other, and keep in mind even the worst in Canada is way better than a lot of countries. For me, I see the rest of Canada like family, like cousins. So I love them all. Even the native in the north, I don't see them a lot but hey, they are family too.

My parents moved to Canada in 1968 to Montreal from Europe. Back then immigration was better but globally the cost of living is nuts in most countries especially Europe and add climate change so keep in mind forest fires floods and earthquakes when you move not just work. Canada’s population is not increasing since 1968 not by much. It’s become too expensive for what it offers

I am from the United States. I have advanced degrees. I am actively seeking a job in Canada to see if I would be happier there. The US may is great compared to a broken country, but not to other developed nations in my opinion. I wanted to see if the pros outweigh the cons in Canada. I hope moving there won't be a mistake, but I have to keep that in mind that it might be. Thank you for your honest video.
