I grew up hearing lots of hate bout USA cuz the US doesn't exactly have a good rep in foreign policies - always bullying other nations, starting wars for oil etc. but I've always preferred USA not just for the world order it brings, it allows different voices, criticism & scolding towards its leaders compared to China, Russia & North Korea. \n\nin the US, you can talk bad bout politicians in power, or probably make movies bout these kind of things like US invading other countries for oil, or testing out some cruel AI military robots on humans (movie name: Monsters of Man), & you won't be persecuted. but after looking at a bunch of executive orders Trump has signed, the way he (& JD Vance) treated Zelenski & Canada, I don't know if I still feel the same bout USA anymore.\n\nif USA doesn't wanna continue spending on Ukraine, perhaps USA shouldn't have sweet talked Ukraine into denuclearization thru the 1994 Budapest Memorandum. that's what you get for mendling with other countries' affairs. by stopping US aid & wanting a new mineral deal, Trump's refusing to follow the Memorandum (I added this sentence thru edit as I can't reply to the comment below).\n\nunderstandably, US & UK don't need to deploy troops in Ukraine as the security assurance in the memorandum wasn't clearly defined, but it also didn't mention that Ukraine should pay the US back financially, nor any mineral concessions. \n\nTrump always wanting a purely 1 sided deal will only isolate USA from more allies.

I was born and raised in Siberia, occupied by Russia. I believe that America was and will remain the guiding star of the free world. Free people will not allow their country to join the club of dictatorships. How did this happen? I watched your report on London Ontario's problem with drug distribution centers... I thought that you give it a good effort and it was really worth my time to watch it, it presented some real truths that inspire me to grow more truths within my mind about the situation, and that is what is needed for people to create solutions. You did a service by presenting that report. However you really missed the mark on this report about Brampton... in many many ways. You need to do more research, you can't 'lead' your interviewee's, and you have to provide information, facts. There were all kinds of directions you could have gone with the comment provided by the people you spoke to, there were all kinds of facts that you could have brought to the table. There IS perhaps a story there, but you didn't find one worth telling. It looks like you're really dedicated to this pursuit of reporting, and it it looks like you're a one man team... this work is hard to do, you should consider getting some help 'putting dots together' and creating your presentations.

I'm reading.\n Some of the comments. I know my opinion may not matter. But it may eh inside some people. I hope I guess the way that I would look at this is being in their shoes. It's completely different than ours. We are given opportunities from birth. Basically to common deer, the life that we would like to have well, at least most of us are. In the United States, people from degrading. Or degraded countries are not giving those opportunities. So I would imagine over the years. Any type of hope that they had for a great country is depleted. Solidarity in countries like that is not accepted it would be suppressed. It would be stormed on and smashed out by the you. See an opportunity to better your life and your children's life. And it's the fourth quarter and there's 2 seconds on the time clock. And you've only got one play to make. We all go for what the big hell, Mary and I think that's what these people are doing and God bless every one of them. That are good people. I feel sorry for this situation. Looking back at this video now is hilarious, this is what complete incompetency and utter mismanagement looks like and the consequences are real for the liberals in 2025. Looking at the numbers, Canada looked depressingly racist well into the 60s when almost all immigration was from Europe... then looking at the comments, it leaves me wondering if a lot of Canadians are still just as racist, they just can't keep the rest of the world out anymore.

I don't think that the comments that you are looking at are intended to be harsh, but I do think that they do reflect the honest experiences and feelings (without malice) of those Canadians that tried to adjust to life in the US.

i'm happy there are people here who agree, but having your voice heard only as a youtube comment is not the answer. do you know how countries in europe managed to get ahead in healthcare? patients went to the press with recorded videos about their experience. and yes, initially the journalists dismissed this as non news, but it only needed one to go with it. and it made waves. now a 2hr wait in the ER in europe is met by the tv crew. \ncanadians refuse to do it. when i came to canada 25 years ago a 2hr wait was normal. now it's 9hrs and still no discontent voices. no politician is running on healthcare, but on cutting taxes and on giving back a few hundred dollars a year back to the families. and most are eating it up! \nbecause healthcare is public, doctors and their union have 0 incentive of allowing more professionals into the system, because they all share the same pie. there are families who do not have a family doctor and are forced to use clinics, even with newborn babies. my family doctor works a regular job, doesn't answer the phone after 3:30 (even though they are open until 4), has 2-half days (one is a golf day btw) and overall couldn't give a F about patients. on that high salary in any other industry, you'd be on call 24/7. \nand then there's housing, jobs, the education system is a mess - more and more people are worried about what these kids are learning and there is 0 incentive from any of the politicians to address the issue.\nand, of course, there is forced immigration. when we came it used to be a merit system, you had to bring in money to prove you won't be a burden to welfare for at least a year. it's definitely not the case now. \npeople look at PP as some kind of saviour, but he's not going to fix anything. usually conservatives are good for corporations, whilst liberals balance their policies with the needs of the common folk. how far they've fallen.

Small correction - After more votes have been counted it looks like Trump will not win a majority of the popular vote, it is down to 50.00% with still more votes to be added, and you should wait until all votes have finished being counted before stating that he won a majority of the popular vote.\n\n\nAlso I hope the other commenters realise that almost all people crossing the southern boarder are legal migrants claiming asylum legally. Anyone walking up to the US and claiming asylum legally must have their case judged and are legally allowed to remain in the US whilst that happens.

I came in Germany five years ago, learned the language perfectly, finished my Masters after dealing with unbelievable stress with Ausländeramt, got a job finally in a IT field, will receive my unlimited residence soon, and im looking forward to live in another country in Europe or in the world. Poor girls have to tolerate, funnily enough the girls were Indian as well. I think it's vast cultural difference that makes it harder.How do you filter these shit coming into Canada.
