thats because indians once they land in a foreign country donot want to go back, thats reflects a very bad image of indians.. I am a legal immigrant in UK, but I see so many indians who misuse study visa to stay beyond their visa expiry and eventually become illegal immigrants just taking advantage of the system.. this reflects are very bad image.

how about indians entering countries on visitor visas and staying illegally ... so 1st and foremost we need to mend our ways \nlot of people are after easy money or some fake illusion of luxurious life abroad without putting hard yards in ... fact is most of these idiots end up selling their ancestral properties or forcing parents to take unfavorable loans in search of their world of fantasies .\nMy advice to all such people skill up and work on yourself you will be able to live your life with dignity irrespective of where you are either in India or abroad . Sorry as a British born Indian I must say this when Indians from the motherland come it pushes down the salary we natives get as big companies pay Indians from India less than natives. Canada is a massive country with only 40 million people, there is enough space here for immigrants that will come here legally and search for a better life. Do not forget that Canada is a free country and that all of us here are immigrants, the land belonged to native Indians.

This is so untrue. In India they don’t face any threats from terrorists. Except for Jammu and Kashmir, there is no political unrest in any other region of India. They can move to any other Indian state. As an Indian, I feel ashamed to say that our fellow Indians are misusing the immigration system in Canada and the US.Unfortunately there is a huge section of our population who choose to live a life without any civic sense or morals and the whole of India is facing backlash for their actions. Any one who migrates should do it legally, following the law of the land.

The general absence of discipline and honesty in Indian culture is a major issue. This is true for most Indians. Even legal and naturalized Canadian citizens of Indian origin are tired of this with the exception of those who feel the need to help or exploit their kinsmen. the student visa was always a backdoor to permanent resident status, when the numbers were small and the students went to legitimate colleges, and then got jobs in order to apply for their PR card via employer sponsorship, nobody cared whether they stayed or not, but when the Immigration Consultants got involved, the scam was exposed when 70,000 Indian students did it all at once which has created racial resentment from Native born Canadians and those who immigrated legally which took years

Student visas expire. They do not allow immediate PR or citizenship. Those rules were known and agreed to before their acceptance to Canada. \nStop claiming Indian students are victims. They are claiming to be victims, but really they are trying to circumvent legal immigration to Canada.

It’s not about immigration, it’s about integration. Certain people take advantage of liberal democracies, live off social welfare, don’t t contribute and want separate laws for themselves. This is what the average European is against but the politicians and media are tone deaf. The consequences are there for all to see in the UK. Even Tommy Robinson for example welcomes Indian (legal) immigrants who assimilate and contribute.

I like multiculturalism and this country is founded on immigration. But we need to put cap on each country when receiving them so to maintain the balance of good mix.\n\nI get bothered why this guy statistically divide white vs others. So there is no reason to tie and blame the Indians for our old problem of homeless population. Stay on point and stop tying it down with non-related issues.

It's not even just in Brampton even 1 to 2 hours away immigrant and international students take all customer service jobs to the point that Canadians can barely get hired into these roles because we have expectations and rights that we worked for and I've seen these immigrants willing to work for less than legal minimum wage and they do not stand up for themselves or work towards having any shared rights. In addition many politicians on both sides of the aisle are rental landlords so only stand to profit from low rental vacancies and cramming as many people into a small space as possible. They've also cut funding to a lot of post-secondary institutions who rely on inflating tuition cost for international students. At my current role on a team of 15 people plus one manager there are only three white people, born and raised Canadians. The rest are all Indians including the manager and will frequently talk amongst themselves loudly in Punjabi while we're trying to serve customers in the English language. That's actually against policy but Canadians are so outnumbered by immigrants and specifically Indians in this place that it never gets enforced properly. I've never been anti-immigration but it's gotten so bad in Canada especially in places like Ontario that I'm now against it and will tell anyone regardless of their skin color to avoid immigrating here. I've been on a wait list for a doctor for over 11 years, I know people who have died from cancer due to delayed referrals due to long wait list for additional screening, it's insane and absolutely ridiculous especially considering the amount of taxes I currently pay and have paid my entire life as a born and raised Canadian.\n\nAlso it's absolutely true every single one is either taking or has taken post-secondary studies in business admin or management. We don't need more people in these fields we need Healthcare sector workers and not a single one that I've spoken with which again is quite a few studied anything related to medicine Healthcare nursing... not one.

I am an Indian. We too get illegal immigrants from neighbouring countries thanks to uncaring politicians but what's happening in the US is madness. It's an insult to citizens and those who migrate legally.

We love immigrants *and* diversity in Canada. All my friends are immigrants or children of immigrants. \n\nHowever, importing exclusively Indians is *not* diversity. It is not diversity when it is all a singular group. @AbhiandNiyu : I’m a Canadian citizen of Indian descent. I agree with the issues you have highlighted but I disagree with the narrative you have presented. Here are my reasons why - \n\n1. Canada has always been a peaceful, prosperous, progressive and a good governance oriented nation. In the recent decade, too much of woke, radical left wing ideology has penetrated into policy and public institutions that have led to Canada’s current day crisis. \n\n2. This country has always welcomed talented immigrants who are willing to integrate with the Canadian society, embrace its values, traditions and culture. However, in the last 10 years, too many refugees and reckless mass immigration has put an incredible pressure on the economy, infrastructure and social cohesion. \n\n3. The political leadership has allowed reckless mass immigration without caring to boost the economy/infrastructure to handle the volume and hence the sorry state of affairs. \n\n4. Too many immigration consultants of Indian origin engage in outright VISA frauds (yes, this is unfortunately true) leading to ppl coming in as a tourist and then seeking asylum or converting their visa into a student visa (55 year olds from Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat coming here as students).\n\n5. A significant chunk of people coming from India (esp. Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat) seeking a permanent residency in Canada are using student visas as a back door to claim eligibility for PR/citizenship. This is downright abusive and was never intended to be used like this. This has fueled a fake college diploma industry into Canada where “2-room” colleges have sprung up along the highways giving out fake diplomas and certifications for easy cash. Thus, the students, the immigration consultants and the fake diploma issuing colleges are all getting benefited from this scam. The internet is filled with such sting operations by Canadian officials exposing Indian students/immigration consultants. Do check them out. \n\n6. Unlike the past, the recent batch of immigrants in the last 3 years or so, make no effort at all to integrate into Canadian society and abuse the system, create law and order problem, drive recklessly, talk loudly in public spaces, litter everywhere, cross railway tracks like they do in India, steal liquor from stores, shamelessly collect food from food banks (as a way to save on groceries) that are meant for the elderly, disabled or those that are in utter poverty. It wasn’t like this ever before. In cities like Mississauga, Brampton and Surrey, the Khalistan movement + gangs involved in theft, drugs and human trafficking are from Punjab/Haryana and they have mushroomed here like crazy. A good 30-40% criminals in prison or on bail in these cities are of India ethnicity. \n\nIt is behaviours like these by Indians in the recent few years that has thoroughly infuriated native Canadians and now they hate the rest of us that have lived here peacefully and have been good citizens. There is a very serious, very real anti-immigrant (anti-Indian too) sentiment building up here. \n\n7. Lastly, the student protests that you have highlighted here is absolutely ridiculous! These students from India came to Canada under a student visa knowing fully well that they are supposed to go back after the completion of their studies, and now they are DEMANDING that they be issued extensions in work permits and be considered for PR. This is insane! This is because they never intended to return to India in the first place and were abusing the system as a back door entry. They are threatening to go on hunger strikes and what not. Legally, on a student visa, they are NOT allowed to participate in any sort of activism. \n\nNOBODY that comes to our country on a temporary visa (student, tourist etc.) has the right to dictate terms to us and demand that we change our immigration policies based on their preferences. No, that will not happen. \n\nCanada, like every country, has the sole right and privilege to decide who gets to become a permanent resident or a citizen based on our national priorities and strategic interests. I see nothing wrong in this principle.\n\nThanks for the video and I hope you will consider the other side of this argument as well. Canada alone is NOT at fault here. Immigrants and temporary visitors from India have some soul searching to do as well.

Correction - our government wants immigrants, the people are sick and tired of the mass immigration. It will end when Trudeau is kicked out. There are too many here already! It has strained our healthcare, our real estate market, we have East Indian students on study visas protesting and demanding to be let into the country. It is time for the Canadian government to benefit young Canadian families and let those that come here do so legally and with a job awaiting them. If you want to see what mass immigration from one culture can do, just look at Bramladesh, aka. Brampton. You want a drivers license, no problem, $300 and you pass. Truck drivers license, $800. Mortgage, bribe the broker/underwriter 1% of the mortgage amount and you can easily get one from a big bank even if you don't actually qualify. Rental housing, 2 to 4 students per bedroom, assuming they can get housing at all. Multiple people using the same health card. Multiple workers using the same ID. Three drivers per transport truck, one legal and two illegal so it can be operated 24 hrs a day. Just the tip of the iceberg as I'm certain there are many more scams/loopholes being utilized than I'm aware of. Many Indians are hard working, just trying to make a better life for themselves and their families, live in horrid conditions until they can afford better. On an individual basis I don't blame them, but when you import EN MASS, and they all live together in the same area, then the culture of that area changes to the one they are coming from.

A lot of Canadian have a misconception about Indian students. Majority of the students who came after the pandemic were business professionals who took the pandemic as an opportunity to get back to education. They chose Canada because of its beauty and friendly people. The reality of which is they paid 3 times as much tuition as a Canadian, got abused at their work place for bare minimum wage. They paid a hefty price for a degree that no country recognizes. Its funny how your PM cashed your CERB cheques with the cash of international students. Its sad how Indian students follow the legal process to enter your nation and get hate for being illegals. Students who have a CRS score 500+ struggle to make a living while your government provides easy immigration by asylum to people who themselves burned their countries down. Its sad to be in a nation where getting a call connected to the CRA takes more time than getting political asylum. Your government spends your tax money on asylum seekers and their 6-7 kids who come with them and not international students. We bring money to your nation. 7 billion dollars is what the students bring your nation every year, while your PM sends 5 times as much to fund someone else’s war. You put a communist dictator to represent you and you are paying its price. Darker days lie ahead for Canada and they have nothing to do with Indian students.

the infrastructure of Canada cannot handle a million new people a year. the Liberal government has exploited international students and temporary workers too much and needs to be reigned in. these policies and practices do not benefit Canadians, only landlords and franchise owners and the tax collectors are getting the benefits. you and i get inflated demand on rent and food prices. overcrowded classrooms and hospitals. delivery drivers who can't understand english and drive like maniacs. this is exacerbating the housing crisis in such a way that a single person cannot compete for the cost of a one bedroom apartment when a group of indians will share the cost with as many as seven people in one unit. our infrastructure, housing and transit was never intended to have this many people. there isn't even any rapid transit outside a handful of cities. mass immigration is also leading to election interference and could be used to vote in WEF garbage that will ruin even more nice things we take for granted. our high trust society is gone. shameless life hacks and citizenship of convenience is all most migrants are coming for. mass immigration is bringing down the standard of living in Canada. poverty and homelessness are out of control. whether its the chaos of crime or the eyesore of encampments. whether its was just a package on your porch or your car stolen from your driveway, the government isn't handling the load that mass immigration is putting on society and Canada's legal system is a joke. its almost like the Liberals are actively recruiting an army of psychopaths just to vote for them. the drugs and the gangs and the organized crime isn't worth the hollow platitudes and desperate social programs.

Don't blame India for this. Blame the vote bank politics of the liberal politicians you voted to power. These immigrants bring billions of dollars when they come here only to find a severely inefficient medical system and nothing in the name of jobs except factories, warehouses and Tim hortons. If you want change, push your government. Stop bringing anyone and everyone in. Your thumbnail is inaccurate too. A man with vermillion on his forehead is a Hindu. Most migrants from India are from the state of Punjab. Most of whom are NOT Hindus. A small fraction of these are separarist convicts who have been given refuge by the liberals and they refuse to engage with the Indian authorities to send them back for trial. As long as you blame others for your voting mistakes, you'll keep facing the same problems. It's not just caucasians who are leaving Canada. Immigrants who came legally a decade or more ago are frustrated here and are leaving and these include ones with non European backgrounds. Your view is eurocentric. Work on these areas.

There's nothing wrong with immigration as long as it's controlled, people enter legally and do what it takes to adapt to the host countries' values. I'm from India too; I fully support nationalism, irrespective of the country; it isn't racist, as the media likes to push that narrative. The sense of community is reducing because I think there's this wall between ethnic groups. The only way to tear down the wall is to have the immigrants adapt to the host country's culture and values.\n\nI have a cousin who moved to England, and she bought a home in a predominantly white neighbourhood. Zero problems. She's also sick of India, because of how crowded it is.\n\nAlso, most Indians condemn Khalistan and Khalistanis. No room for extremism.
