As a black South African, even we are tired of african foreigners (specifically Nigerians and Zimbabweans). We have a massive Indian population too but they are fine for the most part.

A lot of Canadians who were born here feel the same way about this country turning into South Asia 2.0, but very few are vocal about it, and some are willfully blind to the consequences. This may be an immigrant country, but it's certainly not sustainable at the rate we're going....

I would love to see videos of how europeans are invading the global south. My home country Kenya, so many Europeans and Americans moving there. They are also moving to Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Cape town in large numbers. We haven't even talked about Vietnam, Thailand etc. I want to see these videos. How they are destabilising our prices. How cost of living is going up because all these white people are moving to our countries. Cheap healthcare, cheap and affordable cost of living, great cultures, amazing food, great parties, great beaches, amazing wildlife etc. I go to clubs in Kenya where the majority is white people. Working remote jobs, getting paid is dollars and euros and enjoying life in the global south countries. Make that video.

Only my heritage is Indian (4th generation in Australia - my great grandparents came here) so obviously I present as one. Of course every South Asian person I meet despises FOBs because they're literally the problem for all of this. Lack of assimilation, lack of civic sense, lack of fucking common sense. It's like watching racism disappear like a light switch. So let me ask all of you a question - how should people like myself, born and raised here handle this? It doesn't end. Everyday, there's a new comment from a new person, another racial slur, another person throwing a bottle at me from their car as I'm walking, another passerby getting aggro at me for no reason, another form of insanity. How should regular people like myself handle this or deal with this? No trolling.

I’m South African Indian from Durban, and I spent three months in Vancouver for work. Honestly, I wouldn’t visit Canada again. The cold was unbearable for me, and I found the country dull and boring. Coming from Durban, where there’s warmth, energy, culture, and life everywhere, Canada just didn’t feel like my kind of place. Some people may enjoy the quiet and structure, but it’s not for everyone—and it definitely wasn’t for me. Three months was more than enough to know it’s not my vibe.

As someone who's born and raised in Brampton I don't really see any issues when it comes to the large Indian demographic in the city. Majority of the people in this city are just middle class families trying to get by and provide their kids and families a bright future. Without the indian immigrants coming to this city what would it even be? You have families living in million dollar+ houses, working, owning business, giving good futures and opportunities for their children but y'all mad cause they are Indians who are doing this. If they were white people instead would be calling Brampton a success story then? If 75 percent of the population is south asian, OF COURSE you will see south asian workers, south asian restaurants, grocery stores (JUST LIKE ANY OTHER COMMUNITY). You only see this issue online because the people who actually live in these areas have absolutely no issue with the city. They're mad they can't progress in their own lives and use cities like Brampton as a scapegoat for their own problems. I am an African with a Master’s degree in Communication Studies, and I can bet you bike guy doesn't have a high school diploma, but he wants to talk about the intelligence level of all Africans? While I agree that many of the Africans going to Canada are from war-torn countries without a good education, he speaks of Africa like it's a monolith. Realities in Ghana aren't same as in Ethiopia. South Africa isn't same as Rwanda nor is Senegal same as Madagascar so unless he is referring to individual countries with specific examples, his claims don't even make any sense. I would like to see just one contribution from fatty to scholarship😂😂. Both the beautiful luxurious sides as well as the slums and poverty. Unlike vloggers like this who only show the negative sides of India for the sake of views, content and engagement farming. 2.9 million people can lawsuit against Trudeau because Trudeau simply allowed too many temporary visas that should not be allowed from the first place. For example, Trudeau allowed visas to allow people to work for minimum wage jobs in Canada or jobs with no trade skills., and even if skilled workers were invited, their jobs are not in high demand or about to be replaced by AI in a couple of years. Every year over 100,000 jobs will be replaced by AI starting from the late 2026, starting from the transportation industry, customer services, office jobs, IT jobs, and education; soon healthcare and engineering as well. No developed country needs workers anymore except very few experts and there will be massive layoff, not because of the economic crisis, but because of AI. In Japan, China, and South Korea, AI are widely used and now young people with a master or PhD degree can't even get a job.

The problem is not the immigrants. The problem is with Canadian leaders, and the Canadians who elected and reelected them to office. I lived in Nova Scotia for just over 2 decades. I attempted to have many discussions about these issues and was shocked by the generally vapid responses I'd get. Much more to say, but the main point is that Canadians have destroyed their own country's quality of life and from what I can see, Canada is not worthy of respect as a nation. I take ZERO pleasure in saying this. However, the country should have provided the United States with a up close example of what a well run social democratic nation looks like.
