Trump's goal is to start an actual war with anyone who'll have it, including our closest neighbors and allies. The reason is that wartime presidents have more power and he doesn't care who stands in his way. He's going to use that power to detain journalists and jail political opponents ahead of the midterms claiming them to be traitors, then he's going to set himself up to run for a third term. If he succeeds, he'll have total control. Democratic leaders will be in jail, journalists will be silenced, and the national guard will forcefully search your home for any second amendments you might have lying around as they deliver our ballots at gunpoint. How do I know? Because that's what tyrants do. The US is in the midst of a political coupe and it's imperative that the situation be viewed from that paradigm. Drop any pretense that this administration is anyone's ally, they're not. They're a rogue administration attempting to seize total control of the US.

I have to confess I don´t know much about the actual canadian politics. But this reaction of Mr. Trudreau was very impressive. As a german European I know we are together in this completely insane situation initalised by the pathetic performance of the Trump administration. But with Canada on our side, with a strong leader as Trudeau I´m optimistic that the european leaders will also unite and focus not on their differences but on the common interest to stop this destructive US Goverment from destroying the free western society.

This election wasn't about republicans or democrats or independents. This election was about humanity and global security. American's ignored the writing on the wall for their own singular wants/opinions. The majority of Trumpers claim to be 'Christians'. He pardoned violent offenders and called them patriotic, spouts false information, obstructs investigations, has numerous felony charges against him and has now made enemies with our allies. Shall I go on? That's not Christian. Even if you aren't Christian...that's not what America stands for. All for what...eggs? Guns? Cheaper groceries? Or because your need for hating a small group of people out weighs global peace. Or is it because you are so short sighted that you can't even see the valuable contribution that non American born people provide this country. Yes, Biden fell asleep at the wheel. Yet many of you still believed the better choice was a psychopath. This election was important. We failed as a country by putting this man in office. No matter what party you align with, we failed.
