As a Canadian I am very proud of the way our Prime Minister handled himself. Reading all the kind words from Americans and citizens around the world it gives me hope that there is still good in this world. Thank you ??

aren't there ANY possible legal ways at all to stop them in their tracks?, english is not my first language and i learnt it late in life, but words like impeachment come to mind, along with criminal offences, felony charges for corruption, espionage and so on. Thanks to Trudeau and the Liberal party the opioid problem has only gotten worse, and they haven’t done enough to fix it. Their policies on immigration and borders have been way too relaxed, letting things get out of hand and putting a lot of strain on the system. We need stronger leadership to sort this all out!! How will you feel next year when you need two dollars to buy what one dollar buys now? And plan on having fewer dollars to start with because your carbon tax, your sales tax, your income tax are all going up. WAY up. This is what happens when you decide to compete with a USA that is unshackled. The USA can produce more of our own oil than we can use, and we will sell the extra to YOUR foreign customers cheaper than you can produce it. Then you will be BEGGING for a pipeline. So Trump invited Canada to become a member of the most successful and powerful union of sovereign states in history, something that even our own territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and all the others do not have. An invitation to be a bona fide member. Why do you think that is? Minerals? The USA has all the minerals we need. We have more oil, coal, and natural gas than any nation also, and we can produce and refine it cheaper than any country can. So Canada was invited to become a state so Trump could peacefully eject the ChiComs from North America. And did you accept? No. Did you say no thank you? No. You gave us the finger and said f&$k you to Trump. We hear you Canada. But now is not the time for pain, that comes later.

It is evident that comments like the one from @robertedward7023 demonstrate many, many people do not know what took place at the meeting before this meeting which should have made this meeting a simple signing of the agreement. VP Vance corrected Zelensky for his attempt to propagate his agenda and now that Germany, France and others--as NATO countries--have jumped in, there could be consequences resulting in war if they continue to push for it. As far as Trudeau, he is on his way out according to his own resignation and he has just done Canada wrong with the faulty reasoning.
