I am from Venezuela, we came in 1980, it took my parents 3 years to receive our green cards, my father used an attorney, we stood in line at the immigration office over and over multiple appointments, in regards to the lady saying she is from Venezuela my heart is with her because how bad Venezuela has become, but please everyone remember that we meaning US has been allowing them to come in this way, we been allowing it, it is completely wrong to do that, will you invite someone to your house unconditionally? No!!! Its by special invitation only!! Close the border and send everyone back where they came from, and this will stop!!!!!! Can you blame them. The previous administration offered a premium benefits package to any and everyone who wanted it. It was a literal freeforall. Now that a non globalist, non(I'm just going to say it)ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT administration is handling the border of the US, these people are stunned. They are pissed off that the free ride is over. If a transgender man takes the physical fitness test...does that person get a waiver for not being strong enough to meet standards for men, or have they lowered the scores for everyone? Recruitment is not down because transgender people/DEI is not allowed. It is down because the opposite is happening. DEI/Alphabet people are being shoed into places where they do not belong over more qualified other people. This process of putting less qualified people into positions endangers everyone else. Why are they taking another 5,000 refugees from Gaza and giving them money. I don’t understand this government and they complain about housing crisis. Where is the government going to put them. We were military so lived right across Canada, and I can tell you the worst province in Canada is Saskatchewan. I don't have enough thumbs to turn down. The people are Very unfriendly. Think there better than everyone else, and if you need compassion from the police you won't find it there. I was with a group of military wives once and we all had to say the best and worst posting we ever had. Everyone said Saskatchewan was the worst. Nova Scotia and B. C the best. . The rest of the country is great. The Maritime provinces are the friendliest. Retired widow now and live in a small town Ontario. It's very nice here.

In response to the judging of immigrants. Interesting how we rarely see immigrants on our street corners asking for a handout. Instead they're at work making just barely enough to eventually have their own business in a few years. Latinos are a workforce and stimulate the economy because its a lot of hard work to maintain and sustain this country. Who's gonna do all that hard work when they're deported. Maybe our spoiled and privileged teens? All industries will suffer a void in their workforce causing products and service prices to increase. Billionaires like Corporations, Trump and Musk are the reason you are not doing well, not immigrants. Trumpism is fear, hate, blame and shame politics. Immigration has been a thing since a million years ago, and it will always exist. People migrate. Americans use 1,000 times the resources more than immigrants need. Immigrants don't even qualify to for well-fare assistance. When immigrants are gone and the borders are secured, who will be blamed next for America's problems. Instead of focusing on the greater good and progress for all Americans, Republicans can't help themselves to use their power to address their xenophobia, blame, hate without concern of who and what suffers, families of the working class suffer, and our economy, not billionaires. Mass change and reckless actions based on negative emotions and Ego based intentions of one man, is bad for everyone. Negative energy + negative actions amounts and results to nothing but negative consequences and repercussions. Trumpism is no bueno for America. His approach to fixing immigration will hurt and break America.

In what flawed scenario does that end well for Canadians ??? Higher taxes ?? More Homelessness?? More draw on Public Services?? More Crime ?? The executive order must give police a direct order from the commander and chief of the USA stating the police are ordered to ask for identification on all people's in this country on spot without cause. If you're a citizen you don't have anything to worry about if you're illegal you get deported within 24 hours after arrest NO NEED FOR A COURT CASE they will be put onto busses in every city loaded to the gills driven to the boarder and yes folks the NATIONAL GAURD might have to be used to show everyone how fkn serious we are about taking our country back. It's Not enough and this was Not Fair! We came here in this country and vetted for 6 years by Immigration and all proper education requirements met. My mom worked so hard to be able to come into this Country when I was 14yrs old, there were Rules and Criteria. Now, it's all a Joke. People can come into Canada without proper oversight and Money works. As long as you have huge sums to pay, they let you in, easily, 3months you get Permanent Resident status, we worked hard for 6 years, even doesn't matter if you're a criminal from back home, they let you in, as long as you have money. No proper Vetting process! What has this Current government done to this once great country? They ruined this whole Canadian immigration dream for everyone. My family feels angry and cheated on! I worked 3 jobs since I came here young upto this day 26 years later, pay my taxes and these 'cheaters' get paid social assistance. Very Shameful Canada!

Along with these measures make sure those who are here (some fraudulently) follow the Canadian rules. Make it official to hire Canadians born & raised. Other countries are doing it. There is a cost for everyone that is here. Are they paying enough taxes? Sweden is paying $45000 to every immigrant to leave. Canada needs to look at the cost-benefit ratio. Immigration is not a right, it is a permission given by host country.

I could honestly write an entire book about this—I’ve been living in Costa Rica for the past three years, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. My personal experience has been okay, because I was lucky enough to be contracted directly by the company, so I didn’t have to deal with any agencies (best-case scenario). BUT wow, the struggles are so real. Life abroad is insanely expensive! Sure, you might earn more, but all that money? It goes straight to bills, and don’t even get me started on the “black tax”—if you know, you know?. Plus Everyone back home just assumes you’re living the dream, lounging on the beach like a millionaire, when in reality, you’re just trying to stay afloat! NOT TO MENTION THE MENATL HEALTH, Premium tears!

I hope no one is dumb enough to think this is simply Liberal or Conservative or even NDP issue...they've all failed Canada, and all have been doing nothing but helping those who utilize housing as pure investment and nothing more. Apply this to any of the sectors discussed in the video; banking, telecom, housing, etc.\n\nEVERY, and I mean EVERY government over the last 30+ years has been looking out for those with capital at the expense of everyone else. Every government has had an opportunity to completely change any number of sectors that are entirely not in the average citizen's favour, and they've gone the opposite route and helped their buddies with deep pockets instead.\n\nDon't get me started on the fact that the common citizen is far too stupid and hung up supporting a colour/team to really demand more from their government. Or they're too busy thinking about $1 beers at the expense of the firesale happening under their feet.

I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. I love the fact that you spoke some harsh truths here sir, much respect to you and your family sir. I hope you can continue making such informative videos for people to learn from. The other thing I have to add is that the word racism is thrown around too much and too easily in our current woke cultural climate here in Canada and this is just making the immigration issues worse because it produces a culture of fear for those Canadians that would like to help educate those immigrants that need help. But they do not do so because they are afraid of being labeled a racist or some other word and having their livelihoods and overall lives ruined. I am in a position in life where I do not care if people want to say such things about me. I am also well educated and in the position to come up with well articulated arguments in my defence. My main issue with immigration that bothers me more than the rest not only affects us Canadians but also affects the immigrants as well. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Racism is such an antiquated way of thinking… Our skin colours maybe different, just like our cultural backgrounds, but after all is said and done we are all members of the human race. Then that same government will labels us as right wing extremists simply for the fact that we no longer support our current government for example. Canadians are more angry now than they have ever been. The RCMP have been advised about this across the whole of Canada, so you know it is a real issue. I can control myself and will never snap at others due to how frustrated I am, so I would like to apologize to those of you that may have a bad experience with another frustrated Canadian. You asked us to share what we think, so here is what l think... \n\nThe immigration target for 2024 was around 500,000 people true, this includes everyone given a PR in 2024 (spouse, children) but the larger portion of this 500k is via economic migration which only issued a total of 110,000 invitations to apply for 2023 for example. this means that only 110k people were invited to apply for PR. These people have family members (spouse and kids) that accompany them there by increasing the total PR migrants to that +500k figure. \nSo now to your point....\n\nif only 110k people are invited to apply for PR each year, and these people bring family members this means they stay in one house (main applicant, spouse and three kids will stay in 1 house for example)....\n\nif 250k houses are being built each year.... \n\nthis means there are 250k house built each year versus 110 people that came in...\n\nin my view, more than enough houses will be built in the next couple of years to take care of the migrants coming in\n\n\n\nthis is what l think.

The politicians from Canada and India don't care if everyone lives in poverty. And getting Canadian citizenship will not solve all your families' problems. Once Canada goes broke there will be no welfare, EI, pensions, free housing, or healthcare so you're better off staying in India where at least you know the language, laws, religion and culture. Also Canada doesn't need anyone murder cases like Hardeep Singh Nijjar!\nThe next Canadian federal election is on October 20, 2025. The politicians would bring in another 5 million foreigners from India, Pakistan, Nigeria, China etc, if they could. But Canada doesn't have enough affordable housing for people born in Canada let alone from other countries. The Canadian politicians want voter banks, corporations want cheap foreign labour, and the WEF want Agenda 2030. The Prime Minister of Canada and India are to blame for this mess. Both Prime Ministers are not doing what's right to take care of their citizens. No point coming to Canada or other any Western countries when you can't speak and read in English, either.\nBy the way, you're better off training to be a plumber, a mechanic, a nurse etc than getting a liberal arts degree. If you're an international student and you can't afford to rent for example in Vancouver and Toronto than don't come here. It's no secret some international students turn to prostitution, sell drugs and go to food banks in order to survive. Don't come to Canada assuming study permits automatically means you will get Canadian citizenship.

I'm born to lose autistic. I don't hate Indians. They were oversold on coming to Canada. Once here I'm sure they came to realize holy hell-the rent is so high here and the wages won't cover it. I lived abroad in Mexico and China for 7 yrs. Everyone, everywhere deserves a decent standard of living. If I had enough money, I would go to every nation on earth.

Myself working and living in Germany since last 3 years as a blue card holder IT professional. To this date, I have made 0 contacts in germany, making friends here is a far fetched dream. People just don't even look at a stranger person of colour. To them, we are auslanders who are not fit to integrate in their so called german culture. The housing crunch and slow lathargic medical system makes Germany even less attractive. The government needs to understand that not everyone from different parts of the world can learn German. The IT professionals don't get enough time to even look after their health during day to day office activities, on top of it, they are asked to learn german post office hours. Its too much for me.

No they can apply like everyone else had has to. Imagine being privleged enough to actually protest demanding laws to be changed in a country you do not belong in. The foeign students/workers take up 1/3 of the housing increas8ng homeless of taxpayers

Hi it is not who is to blame i would say but this outdated capitalist system from the last century millenia\nThere is not enough jobs and housing for everyone so people do what they can to survive and opens the door for abuse\nIts up to us to pressure this govt to start a national basic income for all canadians

Not all Indians abuse the system but there are a lot that do. Canada needs to curb immigration. It's hard enough for our young people and everyone without the added strain of too much too soon.

I'm 52 years old and a Canadian citizen my whole life. Canada has always been a welcoming country. I have friends from every part of the world here in Canada. But in the couple years there has been a brutal influx of Indians in Canada. My build alone had maybe 3 Indian households. Now more than 60% of the building is indians. And the problem is 6 to 8 people living in a 2 bedroom apartment. We use to have 1 garbage bin in the basement. Now we have 3 and they are over flowing and they leave garbage everywhere( I've watched them do it). Not everyone has house keys so they leave the security door open all hours of the day allowing criminals to get into the building. They have shit in the laundry room and the garage(I have seen this happen). They smoke in the building halls and lobby. They Dont use laundry detergent when washing their clothes so the laundry machines stink really bad. I have to was the laundry machine before even putting my clothes in.Also they have taken every job in the business in my neighborhood. They aren't very friendly. They come into my restaurant and act like entitled brats and hang out for 6 to 7 hours in groups of 20 and don't tip. They're loud and demanding. Now our regular client's have stopped coming. Since these new Indians have come here they have tainted everything. I have never been a racist individual in my whole life. My family is very diverse. We are white, black, packistan, and Asian. In the last 3 years I am so disgusted in the quality of people that have been coming to this country. The biggest group is Indians. I'm sorry but be don't need any more of these assholes. We have enough of our own assholes

the fact remains that canada needed young males for a strong workforce, it now has the work force for the forseeable future, this halt provides an opportunity to train these people adequately then we will resume bringing in everyone because Canda is not populated enough compared to other countries. we need more people to be a stronger nation, we need to be a military superpower aswell

Us as Canadians need to deal with this issue in a better manner.\nTrudeau did this by design, it’s all about dividing the masses and causing chaos. \n\nThe immigration levels are insane, in the last 4 years, I’ve seen more Indians and Philippinos than ever. \nCanada is built on immigration but everyone needs a place to live. Everyone needs a job.\n\nTelling me to go home because there isn’t enough room isn’t rude, it’s not about being a bigot or racist. \n\nPeople are literally starving, going homeless, not being able to get by.\n\nSo yes when you see a bunch of immigrants taking over all the jobs, it’s a little concerning. \nEspecially when 10 of them can rent one apartment. How does that make sense.\n\nNobody is speaking up though, they do it in the worst way possible, if they do.

Everyone's up to their eyeballs in mortgage debt, you can be sure those in charge want anything but to see enough houses constructed to satisfy demand.

This guy helped a lot of Canadians during COVID when a huge number of Canadian health care workers abandoned their jobs. Or, is everyone forgetting that? We bring immigrants in, because Canadians don't have enough children to keep the country running and the pension system going. And, yet ... you want to send this guy away. I'm amazed at the ignorance of some people.
