I think we might be making a mistake by saying that Trump is being played by Putin. I am beginning to believe more so that he is an agent of Russia with a sense of agency and the people being played are the people choosing to work for him.

Putin's puppets have marching orders to divide our country, trash our economy, destroy our security, remove us from NATO to eliminate allied relationships. Then Donald can just hand over Ukraine to a murderous thug named Putin. Pretty much on track, I'd say. They have been bought and sold their souls to the devil.\n\nI support Canada and hope they continue to stand up to the bullies. It breaks my heart that enough people voted for an adjudicated rapist, 34x convicted felon, conman, pathological liar, malignant narcissist grifter who is now calling the shots. Everyone can anticipate dumb Trump’s response - really no need to give him air time to say it. He’s a traitor to his country, its people, to his countries allies. It would be dumb to continue to cover Trump as if he is worth covering. He is no longer the leader of the free world and he is no longer the most powerful leader in the world. He has ceded that to Putin to whom he bends his knee when kissing his ass.

But if POTUS is actually a covert enemy to the U.S. then he will continue doing what opposes the country's interests, surely? Like, I'm not convinced Trump isn't following orders from Russia. Putin and his allies have never been happier, that's all I'm saying.
