Well I had a kid this year in Québec, it was like 250$ for a single room or 20$ for double room or something. \nYeah some hospital would sell our informations to banks and diapers or food manufacturers... still cheaper than 3000$USD\nFor student I'd say if you are citizen of canada, it's like 10 time cheaper to study here than in US as far as I've seen.\nViolence is something really sad. I'd really wish that just guns were restrain for hunting and special forces, like police officer or body gard of gouvernment selected individual accredited to hold a weapon for defence.\nI've heard that in USA police don't all have to go through police academy that teach them how be an officer. Here they have to go to school, be cadets in summer break, have your attitude checked to de-escalat violent situation if possible.\nWhen I was a in high school violence was in drop in school, so much that they withdraw the officer that was station to that school to just do some one time per year presentation of what to do for security, to absolutely nothing.

I am a dual citizen, spending 6 months/year in Canada, working remotely for a Canadian bank. It was pretty comfortable living in Canada years ago, however I'd prefer living in the US now. Canadian advantage over USA, healthcare system, is deteriorating very fast, with hordes of new immigrants coming every year ... Canada soon will be a hostile to the US country with current levels of immigration from Asian countries unfriendly to USA. I am considering leaving Canada for good, heading back to the US or moving to Portugal/Spain, selling a house in Canada will allow buying a nice property elsewhere.

Living in USA is very different from living in Canada. Mortgages in Canada is very expensive compared to USA. Utilities, insurance, gas, food,, clothes is twice high in Canada. A simple google search can show that. I had moved from USA to Canada and had to return to the USA. Winters are so long in Canada just heating your house takes up half of your paycheck. Agencies are selling Canada more because its harder to get USA visa

Sorry Tyler, you walked right into that hornet’s nest... no clear-minded Canadian would ever willingly move to the USA unless it was for money or, as you said in the first 20seconds, ‘stuff’. When people talk about the USA, they talk about ‘stuff’ and ‘things’ , usually easily replaceable ‘stuff’ and ‘things’.... when people talk about Canada, they talk about ‘people’ and ‘places’. US,UK,Aus,Ireland,NZ are better countries...USA is the best option ..It has mechanisms to weed out fraudulent colleges and education agents. and agencies.....USA has various avenues for income but petty Canada has only one source of income..fleecing Indian students and probably selling maple jam bottles

After watching this video if you think that what is going on in Canada is not crazy, then take note of the fact that Trudeau government is also making it even harder for gas and oil companies, mineral extraction and even farmers to basically do their job. While Norway, Arab countries and even US are ramping oil and gas production, in Canada Trudeau is concerned more about increasing carbon tax and the rainbow flags. Honestly I'm very disappointed in this country, it's becoming worse and worse here. Prices are through the roof, housing is insanely expensive, even car prices are higher than in USA. Many people have to maintain 2 or even 3 jobs just to survive. And if you are a recent graduate or an immigrant professional, good luck finding a good job. You probably will end up in a minimum wage job that barely allows you to rent a room in someone's basement, pay for your most expensive in the world cell phone plan, expensive cars.... and wait 6 months to go see a medical specialist. If you're thinking of immigrating to Canada, better consider Europe, USA or developed countries in Asia. I was lucky because I bought property back in 2016. Now it appreciated so much that I'll probably sell and move to a different country. Hard times are ahead for Canadians, Canada is gonna become Cuba #2 very soon

I do not understand only one thing and thats the Indian people obsession with Canada and USA, I mean going there and letting your parents pay huge amounts of money and selling their lands and breaking their back for your school fees to enter some low level college or university and in the end not even sure if you will succeed. Instead you can go to Europe ( a lot of countries to choose from ) much cheaper or even free in some countries, all you have to do is learn the language (for it to be free) you can have a good life, cheaper and safer than US or Canada and after you graduate you can get a good job with good pay, even get permanent residence or citizenship.But still 99 percent of Indians wanna move to US OR Canada,UK aswell and in some cases Australia.

All Canada not only Vancouver it’s very isolated.\nPeople can’t afford to buy a house because the house marketing is 3 times the price compared to USA. The houses have shitty materials compared to my original country, and you simply can’t built by your own and that’s why every price rises.\nAnother issue you didn’t mention it’s there is no scholarships, it’s incredible expensive to get a proper education like university, and even so, they no offered scholarships. In Mexico almost everyone can reach the opportunity to study to be anything (lawyers, doctors) AND there is why you can get professional services everywhere. Here in Canada the business never have profesional services (like a real Human Resources, who studies for 5 years to be the best influence in a company, or a real engineering taking care of the machines in a plant. Canada only hire the cheap hand to avoid paying and I can understand it, but if more people could study more money moves in the country.\nAnother issue is there is not any public transportation into the cities or provinces, so if you don’t have a car, a driver license (it’s not easy to get one) and pay the super expensive insurance (it’s incredible 10 times more expensive than in Mexico) your can’t move from the place you are. Because of the weather you simply can’t move in a bike.\nPeople live just for pay rent, buy some groceries and buy some pre owned cloths in the thrift store.\nAnother problem it’s many rules to open a small bussines (like selling some food) \nHealth care it’s not exactly free: you need to pay for your prescriptions out of the hospital or if you never been hospitalized. And it’s very expensive to pay for them. I am a TPS holder from el salvador for about 20 years with 3 kids born in Tennessee. and that program will end in September 2019, , i have to go back to my country and there is nothing i can do to stay in this country usa that have gave me everything what i have ; a beautiful family and a house that i am selling for 300,000 a nice car Toyota camry selling for 7000, a Nissan Frontier selling for 8000, a HVAC technical diploma and a good hvac job(60,000a year) but i just woke up and i found out that this dream already ends, ,,,,,,,,,,,, but i am not crying feeling like a Donald Trump victim.........guest what? Canada have a point based migration system that i qualify,,,,,,,requirement are; 60 percent English, high school, a trade skill training, or a degree or a diploma, no felonies, no debts, 2 or more years of experience in a skilled trade or profession, and 15000 dollars, also you need a a job offer on a level A,B and C for Atlantic Canada and a job offer level A and B for the rest of the provinces, i got all of these requirements,,,since i need a red seal for my hvac trade i only qualify for the Atlantic Canada on a level C,,,,,,,,,,,,i already fill it out all the papers and transcripts my high school and took my English test in Nashville,,,,,,,,,,,so i guess will be in a matter of weeks that i will receive the letter off invitation to emigrate to Canada,,,,,,so amigos gringos i can kiss goodbye uncle sam land,,,,wish me good luck,,,,as soon as i enter Canadá i will get on my knees and kiss the land of that great nation that i will settle in New Brunswick with my lovely babies and my lovely wife, i will show my babies to love and give their lives for Canada very well,,,,psss and don’t worry about the 315,000 dollars amigos gringos, uncle sam will tax that
