Thanks to Trudeaus mass immigration policies Canada has become unrecognizeable and unliveable. The results r apparent -violent protests in the streets and crime is rampant r just a few.Canadians r now having to deal with the political and religious fallout of other countries on such a massive level over a small time period that it has overwhelmed Canada and Canadians.

JT has already been costing us plenty and immigration basically is the driver of inflation above and beyond anything else above his ludicrous spending so he's costing us plenty my friend. Japan per capita debt-gdp is half of Canada and Tokyo is affordable with 37 million ... Japan's population has bee declining and apparently they haven't been investing for manufacturing high tech for probably twenty years ... slowing economies are okay but a fake economy by importing too many people is bad if your looking at the GDP of the country ... look at the per-capita-gdp instead peoples ... maybe that slid a bit in Japan but ours is getting worse faster it seems ... instead of the carbon tax they should probably be looking into manufacturing wind turbines for rooftops that are silent and maybe hydrogen cars or something ... JT has bad ideas & and bad ideas ... & more bad ideas ... he attends the WEF where foreign condo sellers attend ... it's just rich country politicians surrounded by really really rich people who want to sell condos ... JT is making it worse ... btw that WEF happens in Switzerland where they have anonymous Swiss bank accounts probably just down the street ... he couldn't possible be taking any bribes ... i would not put it past him with all the scandals ... embezzlement & cronyism ? maybe ? is he taking bribes ?

I was born in Canada Ontario and I can’t find a job here in midland Ontario because immigrants are apparently getting jobs with guaranteed hours and now I as a citizen of Canada can’t get a job .

And Trudeau had no idea the problems this would create when he increased immigration to huge numbers, right? He knew this would put many Canadians in a precarious position, he just doesn't care. Our immigration should be tied to available infrastructure, police, medical, cultural similarity and gainful employment, but apparently that's too much common sense.

I have a university degree and i'm a red seal tradesman.. but apparently i'm not qualified to clean toilets or wash dishes in Canada anymore. Thanks to the employment equity act. In Canada wages have actually gone down in the private sector ue to a surplus of cheap labor in the market,, while government workers wages have gone up too match inflation. The Liberals have failed in protecting the Life Liberty an pursuit of happiness of Canadians, but instead gave our jobs too immigrants so they could secure a voter base!~

I was born in Canada and I can tell you that the Immigration policies are just scams, they only show and tell you what a person can easy achieve if that person wants (which are mostly lies) and then when someone immigrates to Canada they soon find out that it was pretty much all lies. I know someone from India that apparently has a computer engineering degree from his country, but, when he arrived in Canada and tried to find work, the government told him that his degree is not relevent in finding work, HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE???

And many immigrants are leaving Canada apparantly because theres nothing for them here, they aren't any better off. The government basically lies to them to bring them into Canada with false hopes and promises in their immigration advertising.

They get their citizenship here, their education and then they leave. Unfair barriers have been in effect since immigration began. I remember reading about doctors from foreign countries driving cabs in the 60s. Apparently nothing has changed!

I thought it might be possible that you found an echo chamber, so I did some quick Googling. Apparently about 2.5% of Canada's immigrants are American, while 2% of America's immigrants are Canadian. Given the approximately 10-1 population ratio, that's a lot of Canadians moving to the US. I guess the Canadians who would move to the US don't hang out on Reddit.

I can't believe that CNN is reporting on this issue. They have been supporters of our deteriorating government and hiders of the truths of their complete disregard of our immigration laws. The last time my landlord came to collect rent, I invited him to come up to my apartment to show him I was taking good care of the place (and to hopefully discourage him from renovicting me at some point in the future). He said he didn't have time, as he had to go collect rent from 11 or 12 of his other properties around the city. He also mentioned that he had never seen the inside of my apartment before (despite the fact that he owns it). He has only been in the country for a few years, but apparently he already owned a lot of land here before immigrating. He's a very nice guy, but I can't help but feel that there's something seriously wrong with this picture. We can't base our entire national economy on selling our land and resources to rich foreigners while we produce nothing of actual value.

The United States is starting to get over populated cause a lot of people are coming from other countries. Instead of coming to USA focus on your country work on it instead of running away from it. Once again politics swung massively to the right with countries like Italy (once again), Hungary, Austria, Poland and Sweden, voting in right wing governments, France ending in a run off that narrowly defeated the far right, Belgium and Spain looking likely to be heading into heavily right wing governments at the next elections, whilst the US and UK governments both saw their politics swinging far further in that direction, especially the UK right now whilst led by an unelected leader who is demonising people in ways that would make Trump look soft. One of themajor rallying calls: immigration. The way media report on this becomes increasingly demeaning and hateful. During the 1930's much of the European media and even as far as the UK was ramping up the scorn against the ever increasing influx of Jewish immigrants coming from Germany. Even into 1944 there was a vast amount of demonisation of them seeking asylum, despite the knowledge by this point that there were horrific conditions in camps where extermination was becoming ever more apparent. The Nazi German government in 1936 passed laws that enabled them to revoke citizenship and stripped away laws on human rights. It would be great to say that these poor souls who were being demonised in their own country were accepted into nations who could see what was going on and who wanted to help, but that just wasn't the way it went. Media played out as it is now, leading to rejection and a greater number of deaths as a result of this. The way the UK government is currently working, it actually sounds like the maxi government of the mid 30's during the time of the Nürnberg laws. \n \nThe world feels far smaller now with double the amount of people and with things like social media playing a huge role in the lives of many. The ease of access to people around the world has made issues seem to stretch to far more countries now, whereas back then it was a time of empires. I get that there will be many here who support Trump, many who support Biden, there will be Brit's who support Sunak and the rather vicious words of Suella Braverman, whilst others will be more on the side of Starmer (I'm well aware of all the other parties but they don't stand to gain as much). There will be French people backing Macron, whilst others back Le Pen. We could go through each country all the way to the battle between Fujimori and Castillo in Perú, and the stories are much the same, but how will history judge us when people look back to this time? Will it be another occasion where we demonised those trying to escape the horror of the place they had the bad luck to be born in whilst we were luckier? \n\nI know there is hardship everywhere. I'm struggling more than most and I know I can't keep living this way. However, I don't want to be a part of history people look back at and say ‘if only they did something to help prevent this.’. I would rather be a part of history people look back upon and say; ‘that was a boring time period where nothing important happened’. It's already too late for that. Instead I try to remember that, though I was born into a family who never really wanted me, I was lucky enough to be born into a country that could support me during the hardest times. When you look at immigrants, remember that every one of us has immigrants in our family tree somewhere.

And my life turned upside down this Friday by illegal immigrants here in Louisiana. They ran a red light, smash my car, totaled it. While running from border patrol and customs. I counted eight people running out of the vehicle and not one gave two shits to check on me, even though I was injured. Seven of them got away the only one they caught was a 14 year old Honduran child that claimed amnesty. So vehicle which they stole, which had stolen license plate, and apparently was full of stolen tools all was seized. The owners will be lucky if they get anything back since it is being held as evidence. I was told by My Attorney chances are my insurance will not pay me in full for my vehicle. Also, I only have a few payments on my car left, and I’m forced to pay it even though now I have no vehicle to get to work, because all my equity is tied up in it, funny thing is I recognize this kid from one of the jobsites down the street. They literally beat me in a bid on. Mind you only buy $400 differences I’m having to pay taxes it’s a joke when you say these people take jobs and no one else wants thing is it’s not jobs no one else wants it’s jobs that have become jobs. No one wants because of the pay continues to fall prices continue to increase, everyone thinks he’s illegal immigrants make no money on these jobsites most of them have nicer vehicles and live in nicer places than the guys I know. The Democrats who are used to vote for because I thought they were for the workingman have completely switched. Their allegiance is to the large corporations that just want to drive down competition and raise their profit margins. They don’t care about America. They want a global economic system in which we have to compete with people that are willing to do the same work as us for a little less because they don’t have to pay what we have to pay and they go back to their countries and live like kings where our dollar buys a lot. They literally use their influence and corruption to take down Trump‘s administration because he was actually doing something about America’s problems. What a damn shame it’s time to change the system. If you’re not voting for a Bernie Sanders or Trump you might as well not voted off because you will get no change. Frankly, I think Bernie Sanders is a terrible choice, but it beats Joe Biden, because at least Bernie Sanders does care. Trump 4 more years!!!!

The unfortunate thing is, a lot of people can't talk about simple truths. And if you try to, you will be called a racist, because facts and statistics are racist apparently. But if you look at the crime statistics database, something like 90% of violent crime is committed by black and Hispanic men between the age of 18 to 45. If you removed that demographic from America, America would be like some future Utopian world where all we knew was peace. So those demographics need to be allowed to be talked about if we want to be able to find solutions and solve those problems. And no, giving reparations would never solve stop those crimes. It's a cultural things that's kept around by bad parenting, poor education, and their surroundings. Sweden is a perfect example where they had nearly 0 crime until they started letting in black refugees from all over. Grape, robbery, and assaults all went up by not 20, 30, 40, 50%. Not even 100%. Those crimes went up by like 400% or more. Women who had lived there their whole lives now had to walk the streets in fear. White men had to now be worried about getting assaulted or stabbed by immigrants who were hitting on his girlfriend in clubs. Or watch what he said back to a refugee who mouthed off to him trying to start shit. They are completely disrespectful and unappreciative of being allowed to live there and be given government assistance. This is how people become prejudice. They SEE how other cultures act and treat them, and they don't want anything to do with them because they simply fear for our safety.

The problem is apparently the lack of people in Canada having kids. Some are trying, but unable (infertile for whatever reason), while others don't want children for various reasons, including the cost to raise them. So the government is resorting to ever increasing numbers of immigration to supply the economy with workers. This has been going on for quite a long time, though the numbers have increased dramatically in recent years. I wonder if the government has statistics on the success rate of those they bring into the country? And others have posted here the question of being able to deliver the services all these new comers will need. It's a valid concern.

My wife, my 3 kids and I used to like Vancouver but not anymore!!! The weather is why we plan to leave for good but also the expensive rents! I also heard about horror stories at many hospitals (and yes, I have worked in Africa and to be honest, Africans hospitals are way more functional than the ones in Canada in terms of human aspect… there they care, Canadians do not give a shit about anyone!!! And I am saying this as a Belgian!!! I have some African colleagues at work here and at least 80 percent of them either want to go back to Africa (one is actually going to start an Afro business there and build his own house) or move to Europe (one of them plans to live to my homeland Belgium and two others in France as apparent the pensions there are way better than the Canadian one) as soon as they get enough experience in canada! None of us at work , including me, want to retire or get old here in Canada! For me personally, it is the Canadian extreme loneliness and lack of willingness to open to others that really shuts me down… I am fed up and and tired of paying taxes in a country where some (not all) hospitals and some retirement homes treat patients like … objects, not human beings! I now understand (as before I did not) why even some of my African colleagues are looking forward to go back to Africa or to some of them, immigrate to Europe! .. none of us want to be left alone and depressed in this so highly individualistic and unfriendly, falsely “cool” country called Canada… a country that claims America and France are racist countries when not even one CEO in Canada is coloured! I am also fed up of Canadians being cool!!!! Cool???? Yes, their humour is crap and they are all too serious… not astonishing why so many end up being depressed or on meds to be able to function! \nLast: I am fed up with 1. The stupid credit score system which makes North Americans anxious and frustrated!!!! Stupidity does not even exist in France or Belgium where I am from! 2.food is Canada is … not good…lol… really close to being bad! 3.the country is boring… reason… people are so disciplined and nothing happens!!! Or...he could have gone through the legal immigration system, and never had those fears in the first place. Respected our laws from day 1. I've worked alongside H1B visa holders. They underwent a lengthy process to legally get their visas. Yet millions of people feel entitled to skip that process, jump the line, and demand visas or citizenship. Interestingly, if you asked the same people if they think anyone in the Middle East who wants to come here should do the same thing, they will usually say no. Just them. Since they live close, it's apparently unfair for immigration law to apply to them.

Trudeuo stated that jihadists who left Canada to fight for the Islamic state and committed acts of terrorism and barbarity were welcome to return to Canada and be free to live amongst the rest of the population free from scrutiny and surveillance of their actions and activities. Apparently they will be supported by the welfare system and given preferential treatment for social housing. I don't advocate illegal immigration by anyone, but I don't think that those who have been involved in jihad and their involvement in the killing of people in foreign countries should be allowed back in. To deport none combatants in favour of jihadists is insane

This is the most biased Canadian propaganda I've ever heard. I was standing in line at city hall in Calgary (paying my past due power bill which I can barely afford, even though I make 40k a year.) and watched a flood of immigrants in front of me claiming their 100% free bus passes. Apparently, you need an authorisation letter from welfare to claim your free bus pass, yet, none of them seemed to have documentation that matched their id. One guy picked up six free bus passes with a stack of letters that didn't match his name, or, even surname, at all. The cashiers seemed like they had just given up and handed over the bus passes saying, "next time make sure the person named in the letter is here to pick it up in their free pass person." <sigh>

Apparently those who comment have missed that he was in the USA legally. He had a TPS. Salvadorans were given TPS status during early 2000's. I am tired of people on social media commenting about matters they know nothing about. The man is working hard to provide for his family. I am sure he has little opportunity to practice English. He lived in the US with a TPS, now being threatened by current administration. Please study your history, civics and geography before saying something. And unless you are indigenous, who are you to complain about immigration? Humans have been moving about since time began. SMH
