In glad you guys enjoyed my country and our tap water. We're not ostentatious its true. But we respect the foundations and the basics. We need to care because if we don't Who Will?

I used to go to a small college in steeles west. We were only a few students in there maybe 20 to 40+ with 2 programs combined. Very chill, everyone knows one another and had fun hanging in the lounge area/ cafeteria. But man, when the indian students arrived, we lost that comfort and place in that building. It transformed within days to their own environment, whats worst is they keep having celebrations and parties when we were having classes and exams. That experience really had me change my perception on the new indian immigrants, theres just zero respect on their surrounding as long as they have the party. Im an immigrant myself, but bringing your culture with you in a foreign country and expect everyone to adhere to it is just...yeesh. im just glad im done with that school. We're the second last batch to ever stayed there before the college finished their Toronto building for the new students.

Twenty years ago I left Canada and boy am I glad I did so. The country has turned into a disaster unless you're rich. The obsene house and rental prices are obviously the result of gross mismanagement. I mean, the government employs economists who should be able to advise that too many buyers and too few houses is going to lead to major trouble. A rich country with so much land should not have this problem. When it comes to gas prices, Canadians have to drive some of the longest distances in the world and are forced to pay such high gas prices. Since there is almost no public transportation, what choice to people have but drive. Regarding the grocery situation, allowing a handful of massive companies hold Canadians ransom is complete bullshit. This is where the government needs to do something to rein in this behavior. Obviously people need to eat but allowing these companies to rake in obsene profits because of this basic need is a crime. I hate the idea of a PC government, but the Liberals have definitely failed.

They said i just have to pay 150k Indian rupees ( around $1900 USD). Found out later canadian government have tie ups with these agents in india and are attracting young indians to move to canada under 6 months on PR by selling huge Canadian dreams filled luxury houses, cars and all that nonsense. Believe me canada is the easiest country to move from India and the cheapest one too. I'm glad i rejected to move to canada everytime they pitch me those ideas. So please do not hate indians. Even they're being duped by these agents and canadian government.

Increasing demand without increasing supply allows the landlord class to jack up prices. Don't dismiss them from the equation. It's a conscious decision to raise rent prices to make more money. And it's motivated by selfishness. Scapegoating immigrants and pretending they're the problem rather than the landlords is terrible. I'm glad you went on to talk about the need for further housing construction, but omitting the greedy landlords from the discussion seems like you're dropping the ball on something.

Canada hid its inflation in the housing market for a decade. The economy appeared to be growing, and real wages appeared to be staying in line with the consumer price index, but it was smoke and mirrors. If you removed real estate, GDP was stagnant. Wages were actually falling behind and people getting poorer and poorer without realising it. That’s finally become unsustainable, and inflation is showing up everywhere. And the wages are still stuck. The country is sitting on hugely valuable resources it could develop had it not put so many self-created political barriers in the way, and having indoctrinated their population about it along the way. Separately, The healthcare system is getting worse, consistently ranking 2nd last in the OECD in terms of real results delivered. The biggest problem is that the country’s economy is built on immigration to drive growth, rather than productivity, efficiency, or innovation. The more people you bring in, the more housing you need, but they’re at the point that they can’t keep up and people can hardly afford housing anyways. It’s a recipe for disaster. I left Canada by coincidence, having met someone from another country and moved there. I’m glad I left.

They will take over Canada, it’ll take time but it’s going to happen. And all in a bid to get re-elected, one person should not have that much power…and basically destroy what was once the envy of the world. Canada is now full of non Canadian citizens of convenience- chinese, indians, arabs, africans, latinos - all there for the benefits. Last visit to toronto and Vancouver saw and heard only non canadians. Glad to hear they're all leaving. Population replacement is never a good thing. Prior to Canada (Toronto) where I moved last year, I lived my life pretty evenly split between USA (many big cities), China and Serbia. Canada is by far the worst place of any of these and I'll gladly move back to either of them, or to a new place. I have no idea who likes it in Canada and what exactly, but I can't find ONE thing better here than what I had before. And worst of all, the people. Omg, they're horrid! ?

Canada has the same problem as the United States: wrong kind of politicians elected. Like the U.S., most Canadians consider themselves compassionate liberals and thus feel obligated to vote for said, compassionate liberal politicians. The problem is, for Canada and the U.S., these compassionate liberal politicians don't know how to run the nation's economy except to run it further into the ground. And when the problems get really bad, the solution is always, raise taxes because liberal politicians are either Marxist Socialist and believe the citizenry are obligated to pay higher and higher taxes for more government intervention, meaning, interference, in most cases.\n Whenever Canada does get around to voting in a conservative prime minister and government, the Canadian mass media immediately goes on a years-long negative campaign of deliberately undermining the government in the eyes of the Canadian People, demeaning them as inept and uncompassionate and comparing them to fascists. Eventually the Canadian People get so distressed they have to vote back in the liberal party. Conversely, a tiny, 3-bedroom home in Torrance, Los Angeles, was selling for $800,000 in 2018. \n As realtors put it this way all the time, location, location, location!\n I'm going to pass on commenting on Canada's National Health Care. I've read criticisms from native Canadians on the Internet. As Canadians, they're entitled to say whatever they want about their country. If I, a Yank, open my big mouth, I'm going to get trolled by a hundred angry Canadians defending their National Health Care as the world's greatest socialized medical care. Health Care is already expensive enough in the U.S. Most people get it through their employer, which pays a part of it. But employees' monthly deductions for health insurance have been growing steadily over the past 30 years to where it's now a huge chunk out of one's monthly paycheck.

It boils down to the Liberal Party, which has been in power since 2015, e.g.:\n- high immigration targets and housing/jobs/healthcare/etc can't keep up.\n- decriminalization/destigmatization of drugs (especially in Vancouver)\n- political correctness, censorship, gender ideology, health mandates, soft on some crimes but harsh on thought crimes, etc.\n\nAs for other things like weather and challenges in finding a job, these were always the case but Canada really started to go down when Trudeau became PM.\n\nI migrated with my family as a teen. Parents (engineer and nurse) couldn't find a job in their field. Mom had to start as a care aide while she re-certify as a registered nurse even though she has a masters and taught nursing in a college in the Philippines. Dad had to settle as an appliance technician.\n\nThe 4 of us lived in a single-bedroom basement suite, but we bought a half-duplex in Vancouver in a couple of years, which would be practically impossible these days.\n\nI make a decent amount niw and own 3 properties, but if I have to buy my house at its current market value ($1.9m), I can't afford it. Even that half-duplex, my parents sold it at 6x during a down market years ago.\n\nThen there's crime and drugs: I've worked in the downtown east side of Vancouver since 2006 and the last couple or so years has been really bad - it's like a zombie apocalypse. Glad I work remote and have moved to a suburb around Vancouver. That said, I'm highly considering moving but it's hard with kids and aging parents.

I think it's great that people who don't love Canada are leaving. We don't need you. I'm working to change things, to improve my life in Canada. One improvement is to reduce the crowding. If you're just here to economically exploit the country, then I'm glad you're leaving.

I’m a single mother who is under income and I cannot find anything. Even the government won’t even help. They put me on this ridiculous seven year waitlist. Which I have technically been on for 12 years, but they lost my application and made me reapply ?\n\nThey don’t care my child, and I are facing homelessness. Their excuse? Canada currently has an influx of newcomers that need homes first.\n\nI have a teenage boy and he has a lot of new Ukrainian refugees. Why are they not in shelters? I understand they need help, and Canada should gladly welcome them.\nBut they’re putting these families in literal condos. Nice condos. Government paid for one year. It’s absolutely fucking ridiculous.\n\nI know this is long, but if someone reads this that works in the government, I have a suggestion\n\nKeep taking refugees. Canada has a lot of land. Sweet sister, these people who talk like that just need someone to take their own frustrations out on....they don't bother to think about the facts before they say such things. It can be difficult to ignore it sometimes. You work hard, and you are constantly busy with work, school, revision, and a family.....yet, they think that they can dictate to you what kind of videos you should make and when. Making videos is in itself a lot of work, and sometimes you have to remake the video if it doesn't come out right. You're doing your best to help others who are wanting to relocate, and to support others who are having difficulties, as well as keeping up with your channels. People don't realise how much work is involved with each of those channels, nor do they realise that you are a human being who has a busy life. I'm glad that you're telling people these things, because they need to start thinking about others.

I am a Canadian and lived in the US from 1980-1992. I was a teenager and I enjoyed all the places I lived there. Mass shootings were not yet common though we did have a disgruntled employee with a gun on campus during my time in college. No one was actually shot.(This was in a very small town.) I did not get sick in the US. I have lived in Canada since then and enjoy it here too. I enjoy not having poisonous animals in the area where I live. I don't like the winters, and every winter I wish we could re-draw the border and make it go north and south! I have used the medical system up here and have been very thankful for it. The past couple of years with covid I have been especially glad to be in Canada because I preferred our response to the situation over that of the US. Most of the people in my workplace were not happy about it though and I believe 2 or 3 families actually moved to the US once the border re-opened. They like the feeling of having less governmental control in the US.

I think this was a great video. I’m glad you mentioned the difference in wages because what that really indicates is that Canada doesn’t suffer from a shortage of skilled labour if anything we have the opposite: a glut. What we need is more business investment in our economy but the federal government seems completely uninterested in that topic. Well at least for the immigrants that do come here once they get their citizenship it becomes much easier to work in the states under NAFTA so I guess we’re kinda a back door.
