my brother moved to canada recently and his wife was sick they waited in the hospital for 5 hours to see a doctor and he says education in schools is not good his children love school because they spend most of the time playing not studying

Lots of killed expats/migrants/international students to Canada, Australia and NZ leave in the long term because of housing, fake crime statistics, taxation, systemic/institutional discrimination and limited work opportunities. The US benefits from this because that’s where skilled Canadians, kiwis and Aussies go… nurses, technology specialists, structural engineers, biomedical technicians, researchers — all leave at some point barring a minority with family ties e.g., chronically sick parents. Interestingly enough, the US has country-specific skilled employment visas for Australia (E3) & Canada just for this purpose ? I’m an Indian-South African-Aussie citizen who earns excellent cash in Australia and just got PR (green card) in the US — happily moving to the States with my partner in a few weeks!

Very true. I moved to Canada at the age of 20 going on 21 in 1990 and in a few months, I am turning 54. I've been to college twice and I could not get a job in the fields I studied for; instead I am working in a factory and I've worked hard. I'm on medical leave, but I'm now waiting to return to work and my employer has not been making it easy to return. I plan to return to my home country once I retire, because I hate winter weather and when it gets cold, my arthritis flares up and it will get worse as I age. It's very expensive here, car insurance, house insurance, phone bills, grocery bills, property taxes, and federal taxes. You work and work and you get 2 weeks vacation and sometimes, you don't even get to enjoy it. I remember getting sick when I took my holidays. You work long and crappy hours for just enough money to pay expenses and you don't really get to enjoy life. Canada is a beautiful country, but when do you get time to explore and enjoy it? Right now for me, it seems to be when I retire I'll be able to do that, if I can afford it (remember, taxes are high).

I live in Munich, Germany and a big part of my family is in Toronto! I was there last summer, I loved the city but it was very hot and humid, the TTC it is a JOKE compared with Munich´s public transport, I also think the medical system in Toronto is not even close to what we have here in Germany. I don't think about that 2 weeks free time from Canada, or the 2-3 sick days! My family insists that me and my wife and our little 1,5 years boy to move to Canada, but Im not so sure if it will be a great move for us from Bavaria to Ontario....thanks for your videos!

This is why Canada wants all the immigrants to come work here so they can drain all their income in taxes to pay for all the old people draining the system. They need workers at low paying jobs to work double hrs. paying double taxes to pay for senior's health care etc. They are also consumers who will have to spend what's left of their pay cheques to just feed and clothe themselves. Leaving so little left to actually do anything with. As a 5th generation Canadian I have struggled all my life to just keep food and home to live and raise my kids on very little. Now due to what has happened in Canada and the economy, inflation, skyrocketing housing prices, my kids will never be able to own a home in their own country. It's sickening. Canada is cold. Canada is not fun. Least fun because of all the rules on everything. Taxes and fees on everything. There used to be much more fun and things were much more relaxed in the 70's and 80's but now it has changed so much that I'm starting to hate my own Country, my province and the Canadian leadership at this time is the worst in history. And get this: I'm so poor I couldn't even afford to move around or travel in my own damned country! We don't even have a universal transit bus system to travel anymore. YOu have to have a car or fly but be damned if you can hop the old Greyhound and go from Vancouver to Toronto anymore and save a few bucks. It's sick and dysfunctional here.

Did someone pay you to perpetuate the LIE that Healthcare in Canada comes out of people's taxes? That's certainly the impression that you have created. BE CLEAR. Each Province has its own universal healthcare which is funded - NOT BY TAXES - by a premium paid similar to regular insurance (except there isn't anyone skimming profits off the top). For example - the Ontario Heath Insurance Plan - OHIP. As a pensioner, my OHIP premium in 2014 was $98 per year. In the US I pay 12 x 167 = 2004 - over 20 times the amount AND I have to pay the first $4,000 of cost myself. Yes, you have to WAIT after moving to Canada before you get full coverage. As a Canadian, if I came back to Canada I would have to wait 6 months before my health insurance kicks in. BUT if this were not the case sick people from all over the planet would flock to Canada for free medicine. As for the Doctor shortage that is CREATED by the Canadian Medical Association limiting the positions available in Med schools. Nobody loses their house and goes bankrupt in Canada because a family member gets sick compared to about 700, 000 Americans per year who suffer that fate. AND no children die in Canada because their parents didn't have Healthcare. As for immediacy of service - it depends on how serious the medical problem is. Few, if any, people die in Canada because they were seriously ill and were told to go home and take Advil.

Ummmm.. you sound like you moved to 1 city and making your analogy. I am american and lived in Canada for 30 years of my life. Florida a 1 bedroom is 2400 and at best you can get a 800 Sq ft for 15. Got forbid you get sick in America you go bankrupt. You get paid more in the states... lol some states minimum wage is 5 to 7 dollars. Every country has a staffing problem in medical field. If you wanna be a you tuber now yes u.s can be better for that LA, Florida places with no winter where you can film every season is a plus. Come here and try and have baby let's see how fast you go back to canada when your like almost 20,000 in the hole

You don't get a reward or a claim for car insurance unless you get in accident ffs. If you (who ever feels this way) don't see the benefit of paying these bills, nigeria would love to have you guys back I'm sure. High cost of living? Isn't it the same in Lagos? And there an no amenities? Taxes? The good roads you drive your car on, the hospitals etc, they don't just appear magically - do they? Boring? Make friends, try new sports, travel to new places (within and outside Canada), explore, get a job(so at least you have somewhere to go? Home sick? Grow up or go home - period!! There are minority groups in nigeria too (I come from a minority group in nigeria and its a similar feeling). Nobody moves you to a retirement home (compulsorily) if you have family and your family can care for you.

Best part is your whole family is there.. so you guys wouldn't have felt home sick then. \n\nPlease do share how to move to Toronto and what kinda jobs can one get for moving there.. would be super helpful, as I'm seriously considering moving there w/ family for a better future. Land of money laundering! If you come with money, yes, you can make more money. People are mostly fake polite, cold in general, self oriented. Healthcare is a disaster. God help you if you get really sick and wait for a specialist. Hidden racism everywhere. By the way , I am talking about Vancouver, not sure about Eastern Canada. The only good side is a beautiful nature! I think people should consider move to USA rather than Canada. Canada is ruined for the past 7 years.

So I've been searching on places to move and start my career and a family....sick of searching about crime rates and racism in many states of the US I just though...why haven't though about Canada yet? And here I am..thanks for the video..its a good start for me!

Canadian here. I want to make one thing clear: *WE ARE A REAL COUNTRY WITH VERY STRICT IMMIGRATION LAWS!* I myself am an immigrant, although I came here as a baby. People seem to be under the impression that Canada is some sort of utopia that welcomes every single immigrant with open arms and sings “Hakuna Matata” with them. No, we are an actual country with stricter immigration laws than the US. Yes, we love diversity. Yes, it is our strength. But that doesn’t mean everyone is fair game. I’m not even specifically referring to this man here. All so-called refugees who already had made it to the US. If you were a refugee in the US and then come to Canada, OF COURSE we’re not gonna automatically grant you refugee status. Jesus Christ.\n\nTrudeau is not being a hypocrite. Of course we appreciate and welcome immigrants. But We. Have. Laws. End of discussion.\n\nEdit: I want to make it clear that I support immigrants. I voted Liberal and I will again. Hello, I just watched your video. Three years after you made it. I hope you are still with us and a very belated Welcome. Many people throughout the world seem to have so many stereotypes about Americans. Whether it is good or bad there typically is some truth in a stereotype. Overall it seems like you are enjoying yourself and no matter what there is no place like home. I would think no matter what your current situation is you still miss Canada as I would miss the United States if I were to move to Canada. \nA couple things you mentioned in the video were not correct and as with anything there may be a little truth in the matter but yet still incorrect.\nThose who do not have health insurance are not charged or taxed $150 monthly. There is a provision in the affordable care act (ACA) that penalizes certain individuals who make above a certain dollar amount. The amount is either $150 or $300 for the entire year. I concur any monetary penalty against anyone for not having health insurance is outrageous. I could be wrong but I believe this aspect of the ACA was never implemented under President Obama and it was indefinitely suspended or revoked by President Trump. I also feel like I need to address your thoughts about the United States all about war. I believe the American people are like most other people and want peace and civility. The government and major defense contractors have differing opinions at times. Of course there is plenty of people who are war hawks but they are in the minority. Most of us are absolutely sick of war. We currently have been at war for almost 19 years. That's six complete world war 2's in their entirety. \nI think you were being awfully generous when you said obesity is on par with the rest of the world!! Unfortunately there is far to many fat people here and the problem is only getting worse because the media says be happy and proud you are fat. Celebrating obesity is absolutely insane and it sends the wrong message to young people. If a close one is fat of course I love them but I also tell them privately that they are a walking heart attack. It's more than OK to accept someone the way they are but as a friend or family member you doing them a disservice by not mentioning their obesity. \nI'm sorry if you feel I'm being to harsh or critical. I think it is a wonderful thing to share the world's longest border with such a great nation as Canada. I have always thought Canada was like the United States fraternal brother or sister. We are very much alike with a few beautiful differences that distinguishes from one another. It doesn't appear that you upload videos hear anymore but I hope you get the opportunity to read this.
