A Zoraster from Iran, a Syrian Christian or a Jew, or a Tibetan Buddhist...who came to India... Indian not amazing people believe me guys

I teach language (English and French)as a volunteer at a community center in Canada, and I meet some newcomers who come with their college (University in Canada) diplomas illegally, not to pass the language exam or the legal immigration steps, but to pay expenses. That's sad because other legal immigrants pay for private courses for learning English or French for their exams, which makes them ready to speak and contribute to their adoptive countries for the first weeks. They are angrier than people who actually live here! On this issue

Almost 50 years in Canada , I was forced to assimilate, hide my culture, religion, language , Canada is more racist . Italians in Little Italy, Greeks in Little Greece , Europeans that cannot speak " Canadian" why are they not a threat ? All those " poor Canadians " in the basement of legion halls crying about no jobs ? So , "the Pakis"also steal jobs from hard working white ppl ? Remember your " Canadian " white owners are hiring all these Pakis , giving away white jobs to ppl they can take advantage of . Doesn't feel good to be a minority , does it ? That dodge makes me question her judgment. It feels like she’s leaning into fear‑mongering language that easily panics people who aren’t paying attention to nuance — which, sadly, describes most of this comment section. Also, did you see the reply to the Filipino student who voiced frustration? “You guys make up some of the most cleanest restaurants I’ve ever been to.” That kind of response speaks to a lack of respect for international students. To many in the Canadian workforce, international students and migrants are treated as disposable labor — steered toward low‑ and middle‑income jobs. Yes, fraud should be dealt with, but it’s lazy and unfair to claim that all Indians or international students come here through fraud. If that logic ruled, we’d have to start deporting every non‑Indigenous person — which ignores the whole reality of colonization.

I lived in Canada for 11 years, 2008 - 2019, went to university and worked in Toronto. I come from an upper-middle class family in China, went to a top university in Canada, landed good jobs and I speak English like a native. I got my PR in 2015 and I remember the painful uphill battle I had to go through just get that. All the bureaucracy, redtape, unnecessarily rigid rules, high cost and long wait I received from CIC/IRCC felt like a humiliation to me. Every document was scrutinized and every step had obstacle that fealt unreasonable (my TOEFL examiner ask me why I had to do the language test required by CIC, and I had to visit a notary to validate my Chinese national ID card). It felt uneasy but I understood that these were the rules that everyone had to go through, and moving and integrating into a new society was never meant to be easy. I went back to Canada in 2021 and 2024, and it was evident that the country I once called home had gone down the hill. The streets were screaming crime, unemployment, inflation, drug and filth, it's total social rot. As someone who went through the whole immigration process (and many of my friends who went through the same have left Canada for good, like myself), I attribute much of this to failed immigration policy. I cannot help but feel confused, angry, betrayed and humiliated when I look at the recent immigration policies of Canada and their results, and compare with what I had to go through. The feeling sums up to: Canada penalizes the hard-working and law-abiding people, and rewards the undeserved and the cheaters. Example: when the US creates wars in the Middle East, why does CANADA bear the cost of bringing in refugees? I never regretted moving back to China and East Asia, and I feel bad for those who still truly think of Canada as home, as I am one myself. When the leadership of a country deviates from pragmatism, reason and common sense, and instead embraces idealogies, hypocrisy and political optics, this is what happens. The prices are paid by everyone, immigrant or not. For this, Trudeau deserves a court trial for his incompetence and dereliction of duty; and the people of Canada need some honest and serious retrospection. I will share some words of wisdom by the late Lee Kwan Yew: “Whoever governs Singapore (LKY was the PM and founding father of Singapore) must have that iron in him. Or give it up. This is not a game of cards, this is your life and mine. I've spent a whole lifetime building this and as long as I'm in charge, nobody is going to knock it down.” I hope the clownish weakling politicians in Canada (and, in much of the western world nowadays) can be enlightened a little bit.

I am a college student in the southeastern us in a small town. We have many many many nepalis coming and using it as a springboard to emigrate (usually illegally) across the us. They do not speak our language, integrate, work, or understand our customs. Not integration, no immigration.

Anywhere where there are security guards...and they are predominantly brown/indian....they speak in their language at work in public with customers around

The government of Canada allowed these Indians to come to Canada in excessive large numbers. They abuse every system of Canada, change the culture of Canada, buy out all businesses in Canada, and employ only their own Indians. They don't drive for licenses, they own the depot, and they don't need credits for loans at the banks because they own the banks. They fight out and make it difficult for all other ethnic groups in Canada. Justin Trudeau seems to have allowed 90% of Indians to immigrate to Canada and 10% of other ethnic backgrounds combined. Trudeau has caused the Canadian culture to be transformed into Indian culture. Canada is no longer Canada. it's become India, and it's extremely unfair to all other ethnic groups. Their agenda is for Canada to be 100% Indians. Canada is in BIG TROUBLE. The Indians are in every organizations and industries, including Immigration, buying out all the franchises, businesses and are the ones fighting against all other ethnic cultured groups, making the system more difficult for other nations to migrate to Canada. Even crime has increased. Canadians need to wake up before Canada totally disappears. The Indians are messing up the Canadian economy. The majority of Indians are here through false documents and don't even speak proper English or even understand the language. Canada is in TROUBLE. They are highly Discriminative. Only making sure Canada only employs Indians in all sectors, not Blacks, not Whites, not Chinese or other Ethnic groups, but only Indians themselves. It seems the Indians are seeking to totally take over Canada and become a world power. This is my view and that of many true concerned Canadian citizens and professionals who care about this country, Canada. The culture has changed and become DISCRIMINATIVE. These Indians are Extremely Extremely RACIST

I saw it first hand in my workplace. A major delivery company (not Amazon). Used to be mostly Canadians, until about 2 years ago. The majority are now young Indian guys who speak their own language amongst themselves. Even the new manager speaks Hindi. Work conditions have worsened because these people are willing to do much more for low wages. They drive erratically and treat the country like their playground to make money. This is the future of Canada.

Indians Should Worry About the Future Generations… Because , a Generation left from India 🇮🇳 to look for the Greener Pastures but Ended up , where the New Generation after Being Born and Brought up in Canada is Struggling to Find a Job in the System.. Even the Tim Hortons, McDonald Job is Given to Connections from Inside…. Very Difficult for People Who do not Speak … Punjabi or Gujarati Languages..

I love Punjabis. They are the most humble and kind people to be around. Chardi Kala high spirits all around. I feel very good around them and don't feel judged. Being myself feels ok around them. They like to to take care of others. They will commonly ask you if you are OK and need water, food, anything. Langar/ community kichen is inbedded in culture and makes sure everyone eats in the same humble setting. They think communally and make sure to ask all parties how they feel about a particular topic, especially before making a decision. They appreciate when you try to understand them. They love when you speak their language. These people are blessed and I love them. I really hope that people bridge the gap between each other and love thy neighbour. God Bless Chardi Kala rahin.

Immigration technically is an asset for a country like Canada, however the open door policy turned that asset into a liability. When you have a migrant community congregate into ghetto like fashion, you know your policy has failed somewhere. Psychologically speaking human would naturally gravitate towards people they have similarities(language, color, likes & dislikes, etc) with and congregate as a "tribe" for warmth & security. Just put one white person alone in the middle of an Indian market at rush hour, i promise you they'd run to the first white person they spot for "security", now tell that one guy that he has to live in India for the foreseeable future and that he has a choice of living in any area of that city and he learns that there a part of town where most of the white people live, where do you think he'll go?

I am First Nations and I have been concerned about how the face and language of Canada has changed. The first thing we noticed in our small town was that the taxi companies were taken over by East Indians. Now days you are hard pressed to get a taxi anywhere in Canada and get a driver who hails from India. I used to like Tim Horton's until I needed an interpreter to make my order, one doesn't speak English so, she had to get another worker to take my order. You go into any 7/11 or any gas station, or convenience store. All are staffed by people from India. But, it isn't just Indians. There are many other immigrants coming to Canada from China, Japan etc. None of these immigrants do not speak very good English. I have faced prejudice from these people who do not recognize my rights as an indigenous person. Going for an xray, blood test the field is mostly Asian. I have to get cataract surgery and I couldn't understand the Chinese receptionist and had to spell most of what I said to her. That means their business is mostly with Chinese-speaking people. As a First Nations person my status will always be a minority. With every immigrant that comes to Canada my status as an indigenous person diminishes. Taking transit shows me that english or french are ever spoken. Canadians are the new minority.

On many hindu festivals or birthdays, my family donates or leaves food at the superstore Food Bank. we don't check who is taking it. Always paid taxes, that's my responsibility not doing any favor. Illegals and criminals must not enter. Indians should hire and do business with the whole community, not just Indians. Do not try to save miscreants or rowdies in the name of community. Speaking your own language, celebrating your festive must not be a problem. Fascism wont be tolerated. Make Canada Great Again

British immigrant here in Brampton, I wish I could find a doctor who speaks English first, regardless of the colour of their skin. I imagine the satisfaction of immigrants hearing their own language in a doctor's office but I am unable to articulate the loss of understanding what I'm hearing through a thick accent

You havent seen the nasty parts. Of course walking into temple with a camera you will hear advocation for peace. Growing up there you are taught in school that if you are white you are evil from the teachers and the brown students of which outnumber you 20/1 take that mileage and run with it. Many employers and landlords will not even give you a chance unless you are of their faith or from their home region in india or pakistan, and if you are black or white than you shouldnt even bother trying… aint gonna happen. There is a massive entitlement from the younger Sikhs who actively want to see the country become more closer to the punjab with Brampton being the new Lahore. Street violence rarely gets brought up anymore because it is so frequent so media only jumps on it if they got nothing else to use. The majority of gangs are in Bramalea south of Kennedy. This isnt just circumstances because “they have it so hard here boohoo”. The Tamel people that live in Brampton come from India and Sri Lanka. Many fled due to the tigers and because India has been trying to destroy their culture for a long while. You wont find Tamel who has lived in Canada more than a year in a gang, or with a thick as lard accent, or speaking their previous language in public. They are good people, very respectful.

My only issue is if you come here, AT LEAST LEARN THE BASICS of the language here, not speak your own language and expect people to understand or translate. That and don't bring the bad mannerisms from your country here. Food and fine arts culture is fine though.

In your next video don't forget to mention how businesses (small & large) get incentives via government subsidies to hire immigrants. Teenagers and uni students born here can't find jobs at fast food places anymore because those places are full of people who barely speak the language.

at the first temple, the sikh elder chooses his words carefully. he speaks of “immigrants” and “humans,” not pointing to his own background. his choice of language feels open, as if belonging is something shared by everyone. at the next temple, the hindu man talks about how it feels just like his hometown. the difference is telling: one way of speaking makes the community feel wide and inclusive, the other makes it feel narrow and personal. it leaves you wondering when we recreate only one person’s hometown, what happens to ours?

it's easier for European immigrants to assimilate because their culture is similiar! if you want to see white folks not assimilating just go to Asia and you'll see white folks who have lived there for 10-15 years and not even speak the local language! They change certain neighborhoods to "expat" neighborhoods with their bars and clubs and all that western garbage! This is not that different! If Indians immigrated to a south Asian country they would have no problem assimilating! These European immigrants of the olden days talk about their assimilation in to Canada as if they were assimilating into an entirely new culture. Please self reflect!

Companies those employing more labor should be less taxed. BYE CANADIAN Only. HI TAX for imported goods. * Build thousands condominiums by government and rent them to low income people. Decentralized from major cities. * Lower the TAX like USA * Implement Health insurance like USA. Easy Medical loan who needed. * Women should be encouraged to take babies and raise kids for population growth. Increase child benefits and handsome pregnancy award to give birth. Maternity benefits for 3 years. * Culture is freedom of choice on one hand and it should be practiced in private places or in closed boundaries. There should not be any national culture or majority culture. All should respect each other and don't try to impose anything to others. So no public display or disturbances by culture issues. * Omitting bilingual system of English French. It's very stupidity. In office or workplaces ONLY English Please. Quebec only French. Not both. Government language only English. In private places you speak anything but outside only English. It could be broken English but English. It's important. The solutions are in front of us, government don't want to act

Very well done video & Thank YOU for showcasing the point of view from "real Canadians". As an immigrant who came to this country & fell in love with its culture 40 years ago, it's appalling to see how our beautiful first world country is quickly becoming a gutter. The newcomers these days are the privileged ones. All of us need to speak up, especially those of us immigrants who retain our original accents &/ non-white because our white fellow Canadians are accused of being racist whenever they do (though many could learn to be more eloquent. ie. go back to your country does NOT help)! I see it as my Canadian duty to remind "misbehaving" newcomers the reason they left their country in the first place. ie. You chose Canada for a better life, so why try to change it into the one you left? ie. Help me understand your logic? Why not leave your hate & war at the border; just like normal folks won't bring stinky garbage into their new homes. Life is challenging enough when you uprooted to a new country (especially our unforgiving cold Winter). So, just focus on the positive things in your new country & leave all your miseries behind... ie. Learn to adapt & enjoy your new country. Canada is a great country because of the love & effort of those before you, so now you are the beneficiary. Join the legacy by enhancing this beautiful country & its culture, so you can pass on this century old legacy for later newcomers to enjoy, like you do now. What dignity do you have & what kind of life lessons to your children by bullying your culture & religion into Canada at the expense of other Canadians? This will fracture Canada if everyone does that. Do you want this country to become so fractured & terrible that your descendants have to leave for a better country, like you did? No one expects you to be an English scholar; you gain respect for trying. Apply some basic Canadians manners, which goes a long way... I worked my entire career with the public, I very seldom encounter negative feedback when I do the above. If they get nasty, I tell them that's definitely not the Canadian way to make friends & wish them Good Luck! I also make a point in telling the wealthy ones "Tax Avoidance is legal (I'm more than happy to show them), but Tax Evasion is not! Then reminding them....Canada will be bankrupt eventually if everyone don't pay their fair share of taxes. ie. You may not suffer, but your children/grandchildren will. Worst Case scenario, you didn't get the necessary medical care when you most needed it!!! We should lobby for a mandatory course that all newcomers have to take & PASS a test about Canadian culture & expectations. If they fail, no citizenship for sure! My wife is from Hong Kong and we worked together for years. I would yell at her if she speaks Cantonese in the workplace. At home to her parents ok. When your in your workplace speak our language. I can’t even order a coffee at Tim hortons without doing a double take cause I can’t understand what the hell is being said to me.

I arrived in Canada 25 years ago. Yes, I am an immigrant — but I embraced this country, learned its language, and built my life here. Canadians welcomed me with open arms, and I carry deep respect and gratitude for that generosity. But Canada today is not the Canada of 25, or even 15, years ago. Our nation has changed profoundly. And because I love this country, I believe we must not be afraid to speak up, to protect the values and culture that make Canada the home we cherish.

Housing impossible to find and prices astronomical. No jobs available to it's OWN CITIZENS. Canadians getting scammed by noncitizens. The landscape obliterated by trash and human excrement. Hospitals overwhelmed by non citizens leaving Canadians behind. Low birth rate due to unaffordability. There are actually areas in Canada that don't speak either official language. I can't even enter a shoppers drug mart without being assaulted by horrible body odor coming from the temporary foreign workers. END THE TFW PROGRAM. Farms are the only areas where it is needed. Canadian gov says we need to increase population... But not of it's own citizens. So they made it impossible for it's citizens to afford children and then dumped all of India into our country. Those people aren't Canadian. They're different nationalities who are "fleeing" their war torn countries that are coming to take over Canada. Canada used to be a wonderful place. But in the past 10 years, Canada has gone down the shitter. Too much immigration, not enough assimilation. Nobody speaks English anymore, even though Canada is an ENGLISH AND FRENCH SPEAKING COUNTRY. Culture is a tricky thing. Is it not a known fact that one may not be all that interested in their culture and religion in their country of origin, but once immigrated to a different land, these same people become more attached to their original culture and religion, even more orthodox in their beliefs. They try to recreate what is familar. Why are we surprised most are not assimilating? It takes, for most, many generations. And even then. Immigrants will always, in one way or another affect change in the general culture. Think of different cuisine, the arts, influences on our beliefs, etc. What is a Canadian anyways? One who lives here? Who pays taxes here? How long of roots do you need to have before you are no longer called an immigrant? We have a very large country and from one community to another there is a difference in the culture. Perhaps we need to be clearer on what is in fact our highest Canadian values and communicate them more effectively. I would also like to add that there is suffering in not being able to pass on your culture. Watching your children and grandchildren speaking a different language, not having them understand yours enough for you to enjoy signing traditional songs to, not being able to guide them in your religious beliefs, etc., in the name of them becoming assimilated. I am experiencing these and my roots go back over 400 years on this land.

India is not our #1 culture here in Canada, I hate calling a store & the person on the other end can not speak english, it's the most frustrating thing. My g/f daughter applied @ a tim Horton's & get this one, do you speak Punjabi-honest to god - enough. Subway, 7-11's, gas stations, Value Village etc. everywhere you turn. They can be rude no not all but again if I have to ask you 3 times the same question because I do not understand your answer - we have a problem. Y'all we have a problem & then they want to barter about prices if they are buying - they want the cheapest price. Like I say mine is the language barrier & being rude because I don't understand you

There is a video on how a Canadian citizen should leave Canada and come back as a refugee new immigrant! It's sickening because the government our tax paying dollars are paying each immigrant $224.00 per day to be housed in hotel room and food etc?! This is wrong as how come ppl like myself awaiting to have my knee replacement surgery I am only getting $1208 per month on disability EIA? When I go to work as a nurse do you see me talking to my spouse or family members while I am helping my clients eat or bath and get dress, NO WAY YOU WOULD BE FIRED!!? Us Canadian citizens need to stand together and our tax paying money we should have a say in where it should be going not to ppl who are not from our country!?

And these immigrants (all of them) must come to Canada after a very rigorous vetting screening process, bring their own money to support themselves during their entire stay in Canada, pay out of their own pocket for their medical expenses. Nothing should be paid by the host country...NOTHING. I don't have any recollection of ever going to a restaurant or hotel/motel and the country that im visiting is covering ALL OF MY LIVING COSTS DURING MY ENTIRE STAY. SO WHY SHOULD CANADA PAY TO HAVE THESE IMMIGRANTS IN THE COUNTRY, TAKING OUR JOBS, YET WE AS TAXPAYERS PAY FOR EVERYTHING FOR THEM. UH-UH, NO WAY, THATS NOT RIGHT. My daughter is a fully qualified for graphic Designer and yet (with thousands of $$$in student debt) cannot find a job. She actually put in her resume with an Indian name as well as in her own name. Guess which resume had a call for an interview, yes - the one with the Indian name. This is insane. I require personal health-care at home and i REFUSE TO have my Canadian worker be replaced with an immigrant from Kenya. Sorry but the Canadian worker has been here for 5 generations and then suddenly she's going to lose her house because of this situation with immigrants. Not if have anything to do with it if and when i can. Sharia law, and other foreign practices are not respectful to Canadian culture. If they dont assimilate to our culture, speak our official languages (French and English). Deport them all. I am not racist in any way shape or form- my grandfather was in Germany and he was on the Beach in Normandy. He saw his friend die in a foxhole beside him and my grandfather came home with shrapnel in his leg. His suffered all of this to give us our freedoms and a safe place to live. One of my uncles would never speak his language - Italian in front of anyone that didn’t understand it. I asked him why not? His answer was simple “its’s a rude!” Such eloquence from broken English. I am sick of not being allowed to stand up for my way of life, my culture and belief system without being accused of stamping on somebody else’s! I am Catholic I pray at home or at church in my car out on a walk! Nobody is subjected to it or restricted by it religion is a deeply personal thing we have churches and religious places of gathering that are everywhere that have been permitted when other countries would absolutely not allow such freedoms but it still is not enough and we are wrong for being upset by their intolerance and rudeness. I am disabled - if I was not married I would be living on the street. Students immigrants are given better housing and more money to survive on than me - who was a part of this workforce and a taxpayer from the age of 12 I have had some sort of job until I was injured at work. We aren’t racist we are fed up, abandoned and disgusted with out social safety net being handed out to others who do nothing but complain that it’s not enough! I just want to be able to survive in my home country - the country I have paid taxes into all my life. Is there another country in the world that puts itself and its people last as Canada does??? I really want to know. Where could I move and be treated as a Canadian immigrant is treated here???

I have only one question.. why is the government allowing them into the country ? What is the reason and who is it benefiting??? As I commented before , my parents came to Canada in 1966 I was just a baby , Canada had endless jobs in manufacturing, and especially in the construction sector , I will say that immigrants back then , Italians , and Portuguese really built this country , the men and women worked sometimes two jobs , no hand out from the government , no sick days , Canada was beautiful growing up , .. that’s how I remember it , other immigrants followed , from Poland , and then the Indians started to come in by the 80”s .. fast forward to now , I’m embarrassed of our country , it’s disgraceful and disgusting, the transition from back then to now , I feel like I’m living in India , dirty , scammers , gangs , thief’s , murders , ignorant , entitlement; disrespectful etc .. facts , one thing that I can’t wrap my head around is the language barrier , why are these people working in customer service ? Why are they dealing with the public ??? Why are they in the health care industry, nurses , doctors etc , when they can’t speak the language???? Why are they accepted in these highly skilled positions? Just because you have the skill ? Isn’t knowing the language and being able to communicate a requirement regardless what job you have ? Why is the government allowing them in this country and then paying for them to have all these resources available to them ? Why ?? We need to start helping the people that have contributed to this country , that paid taxes and their dues FIRST … we do not have enough affordable housing , jobs , hospitals ,etc .Canada has falling , they are a financial strain on this country , it needs to STOP.. this isn’t the 60”s anymore Canada is to the max , no opportunity here anymore , send them back !

You talk about the French Language??? Ottawa is a ENGLISH province. The French language was implemented by Trudeaus dad when it was English only and Quebec wanted to separate. The French people take up our government jobs in Ottawa and leave the lower paying jobs to other non speaking French. Go to Quebec they have NO ENGLISH SIGNS, but come to Ottawa making sure they are entitled!. Im sick of the language barrier its discrimination and take the free riders from other countries with you.

At Our local mall, the entire work force are foreigners, speaking loudly to each other in their own language, sometimes yelling across the store, all the banks, offices , restaurants, are not hiring our students, housewives, or men. It is all outsiders. 🔮

I was born in Canada, But Our Family migrated to the USA when I was 2 years old in 1976 we adapted to the USA culture. I grew up on US values. US laws, US living. Our Family moved back in Canada in 1997 to Nova Scotia. We then adapted back to the Canadian culture. Mother and Father taught us to always support the country you live in. Adapt to it's culture and rules. I live in Quebec now in Montreal been here since 2018. I'm always learning french here and there but speak mostly english. But I support the french language. Some days on the weekend though downtown when I see all the immigrants praying in the streets I am starting to miss the USA though. But I do not process an Green Card anymore.

It's infuriating and heartbreaking watching my hometown of Surrey British Columbia be totally taken over with not one ounce of respect or common courtesy for our land and its people 🤬the immigrants keep to themselves only hire family and friends refuse to learn the language the whole culture is Superior and exclusive but we're look down on if Canadians speak up‼️they might as well be spitting in our faces😢🤬P.S to anyone in the comments don't gave me the bull€hit Europeans and natives scenario that was years ago does not affect anyone living today and why would you want the same evils put on Canadian citizens now 🤦‍♀️😬
