I was born here 55 years ago, I am mixed race and have been asked if I was Indian. I think that my time growing up in Canada is that Indians have had the most racism towards them. However, There are too many coming here right now. 99% of the Indians I have met with are nice and great people. With that , the shear amount of Indians that are not desirable are here. Cannot drive, rude, no understanding of customer service and take over public spaces and are litter bugs. You guys have to help transition into the western american canadian tradition. I have seen influxes of other countries come over here in my 55 years but I have never seen one group come over with these huge numbers. It is a massive displacement

I recently worked in a fast food restaurant owned by a foreign national, to begin with there was about a half and half mix between the foreign students and Canadians, it was well run, nice place to work and we pretty much got along, suddenly the owner started advertising for help only in his own language newspaper, as the usual turnover took place all the new hires were of his nationality, students who were limited to 20 hours per week wound up working more hours than the full time workers which in my books left me wondering how much studying they were getting in, Covid hit, I asked the boss if he was going to sign up for getting us paid instead of laying us off, he said he wasn't eligible for that program and laid us off, after he laid us off he applied for and got on the program, suddenly names the Canadian supervisor had never seen working for us appeared on the payroll and mysteriously when we got back to normal and got called back they never did appear in our restaurant. I'm not a racist, have always loved working with other nationalities, but rules are there for a reason and need to be enforced, a lot of folks are taking advantage of our lax enforcement. If you want to work in Canada you should apply for the permit before you come, if you come as a student you need to be a student, if you come as a refugee you should declare that status before you get on a plane. When we have people living on the streets and in cars because housing is not affordable we need to question how many folks we are bringing in.

Dont cut immigration down.....tell me how did Indian intl student makes up about more than 80% out of all international students. Why didnt the government put a cap or a stop specifically just for Indian people? Why didnt the immigration look deep before giving student visa just like a snap of a finger and see if they can support themselve for school and living expense. \n\nI am an immigrant myself but when i decided to come to canada as a student. I made sure i had enough funds to sustain myself here in canada for 2 years until i can get my work permit then a head to PR. Nowdays I see a lot of international Students get access or abusing goverment facilities and benefits for which not entitle for them but Canadian residence only (PR or Canadian Citizen). I never ask for Cerb when covid happen, never ask food bank my part time job can fullfill that, paid my fare for using transportation, paid my rents and utilities on time and paid my credit cards. Lastly i never complaint focus on my study and I get good high paying jobs. I am proud to contribute to Canadian Economy as an Immigrant.\n\nThe question is are they doing the same? If you cannot sustain yourself dont add your burden to the country. We (Canadian Residence) paid heavy taxes from our sweat to cover ur burden and debt. Put yourseld in our position and you know what I mean.\n\nCanadian Goverment is too nice compare to other western country go and take a look at the US, Australia, British, New Zeland and Europe Nation. If u cannot sustain yourself do you think those gov at given country will give a care abt you? Listen I have nothing against Indians. The problem is this. This is our country. You come here and take our youths jobs, take our housing and healthcare. Also I am going to be very honest at fast food places like Tim Hortons and KFC as I have had these experiences they are rude to women. I am 63 years old and have been smirked at by two young Indians at Tim Hortons because I complained they got my order wrong. Another time at KFC my granddaughter who is 9 asked for something and they treated her rudely she started to cry. We don’t want you here. Go home with your education you get from our country and use it. We don’t need your people here without going through the proper immigration process. I find you are ignorant rude and not nice people. my experience in Germany is actually very positive. I had studied in Netherlands before moving here. I find it more welcoming in DE as NL. My colleagues are super nice and helpful. I would not be here today without their support and trust. Also NL is more expensive to live than Germany, at least in my time. After having a master degree, I paid over 600 Euros for 1 year job-seeking visa in NL. In Germany, a multi-year visa costed me 50 bucks. Childcare, as far as I understand, is very expensive for non-Dutch or non-EU family. I often see kids going to kindergarten only 2-3 days/week there. Here in Germany, I found easily a place for my son from age 1. Education is totally free. In NL, my master course costed 16.800 Eu/year for non-EU (luckily I had full scholarship), for Dutch students it was 3000 Eu. I remember my classmates went protest back then because of the high tuition fee. And for the language, yes of course it is difficult. But it takes 1 year of regular learning to become sufficient in daily life. And the result is very rewarding. I, myself, did not pay a penny for that, I learnt simply by borrowing books from city library. So it is possible.

You don't need to earn 190k plus to afford housing loan, I am not promoting drugs but everyperson who takes drug here is not what you showed in the video, there are specific areas, Yes there is long waiting time for healthcare, which is a concern and I am sure the local government is trying to fight it back, but how about our villages and the majority population with no medical facility even today, not trying to make an argument here. I have been here for around three years now, I am not saying it is the best place in the world nor suggesting anything. I was just expecting properly studied and not partial content from you. If you are hardworking, looking for more challenges with broader mindset to move around anywhere in the world then Canada is still an option with equal opportunities for everyone, beautiful weather, better education facilities, nice and clean roads, less corruption, you have your privacy, better lifestyle. And definitely it is not a magical land with everything freely available, for simplest thing there could be hardest struggle in initial years.

I'm not even canadian and it's simple. Immigrants are guests first before they assimilate after many years. A few guest in your house is nice, but imagine having so many guests they displace you and take over your home. Who's going to like that?

It is very expensive to live in Canada aside from Healthcare everything has become super expensive , Immoving back to my country of birth ,the Philippines, yes it going to take adjustment because if is a poor country , but having no mortgage and have a house and hobby farm I'm sure I will be fine, fresh fruits and vegetables right in my property. Sorry to say that but Indians are very corrupt, they are trying to cheat any system or any rule. They are the ones behind all kinds of illegal implementations on: Immigration(selling jobs which is illegal), banking system(forging income documents to get high Mortgages from banks), cheating on documents(like fake school letter of acceptances or fake banking statements) and exams(offering to enter exams on behalf of others with a charge). These are not general considerations, I personally am in the know of all these examples myself and I am hearing many others. \nAdditionally they are disrupting the labor market by lowering life standards. To be specific, there are many indians, living 10-20 people in the same home, lowering their life costs, then going to businesses offering for a much lower salaries, hourly wages since their living costs are considerably low. This is not a fair competition, you can not expect people to live in barracks, just to be able to compete. this is disrupting social life.\nThe pooping and these kinds of senitary examples are just the icing on the cake. \n\nFinally, the indian community are not trying to come in to Canada and be a part of the community and the system, instead they are trying to turn this country into India, which they are running from in the first place. \n\nCanadians are nice yes, but any sound person should react accordingly if their kindness is abused. \nOfficial are needed to take actions on this, since I don't expect the Indian comm unity to behave.

They really have to lock up the drugs and send people to live up in the woods and farms so that they can learn to care for vegetables and fruits and stop relying on the system to support their weaknesses for those drugs that wont take the place of reconnecting with their true selves without!.. Its much nicer to enjoy life with a nice meal and a glass of red wine after a day of working out in nature. Cities like Vancouver are not the place to be when you're broke, they keep you broke. You have to produce to be able to sell things and make money but the rents are so expensive that you wont have any time for that, you'll be working full time just to make ends meet. The average salary for a farm worker is $18.47 and the rent is cheap!

I moved to Munich from Warsaw 2 years ago. Munich is nice, safe and clean, but also a bit boring. The wages are high, but so are the rents and groceries (not mentioning services). Soo in my field of work Im not saving more money than back home (lower wages but also lower rents). And a huuuge downside here is - I will never be able to afford to buy real estate here. Back in Poland that's still accessible (even though less and less..). So all in all I think I will be moving back in a couple of years to settle down back in Poland, on my own piece of land, in my own house. Ideally, my german employer will allow my to still work for them, remotely. But if that's not the case, then I will look elsewhere.\nOne more thing - If the german gov. would subsidize langueage lessons, I would totally take advantage of that.. and maybe stayed here longer.

it isn't just in NY or Texas. we are in a south Kansas City suburban apartment in a relatively nice area and we have seen multiple Mexican families going in and out of a couple of different apartments carrying trash bags full of whatever, suitcases, then loitering outside at all hours of the day and night when you wouldn't have normally seen that here. our clubhouse/pool closes at 10PM and everyone that lives here knows and abides by the rules, they do not and they leave trash, glass bottles etc. all over the place and have turned the outside furniture upside down and thrown trash into the pool so they keep closing it down to clean it. i call the police but they don't do anything because its private property. this will escalate to the point where the Citizens are going to have to take a stand.

I bealive new immigrants needs to adopt Canadian Values and way of living. They see Canadá as we are so nice and stupid, taking advantage of public services. When you immigrate to a country you are curios and open to learn a new culture you are leaving your country because there is things that you don’t like and you see your self with the same values of other culture. Once you are in Canada you are evolving and adapting to new ideas, and methods of living, most important you are here to contribute to society and the economy by taking care of your self by working hard upgrading your skills, help others follow the rules. Not the opposite you don’t move to be taken care off by taking advantage of government programs, if you honestly and truly need the government help the program is there for you if not you have a moral responsibility to contribute to this country/ planet.

the infrastructure of Canada cannot handle a million new people a year. the Liberal government has exploited international students and temporary workers too much and needs to be reigned in. these policies and practices do not benefit Canadians, only landlords and franchise owners and the tax collectors are getting the benefits. you and i get inflated demand on rent and food prices. overcrowded classrooms and hospitals. delivery drivers who can't understand english and drive like maniacs. this is exacerbating the housing crisis in such a way that a single person cannot compete for the cost of a one bedroom apartment when a group of indians will share the cost with as many as seven people in one unit. our infrastructure, housing and transit was never intended to have this many people. there isn't even any rapid transit outside a handful of cities. mass immigration is also leading to election interference and could be used to vote in WEF garbage that will ruin even more nice things we take for granted. our high trust society is gone. shameless life hacks and citizenship of convenience is all most migrants are coming for. mass immigration is bringing down the standard of living in Canada. poverty and homelessness are out of control. whether its the chaos of crime or the eyesore of encampments. whether its was just a package on your porch or your car stolen from your driveway, the government isn't handling the load that mass immigration is putting on society and Canada's legal system is a joke. its almost like the Liberals are actively recruiting an army of psychopaths just to vote for them. the drugs and the gangs and the organized crime isn't worth the hollow platitudes and desperate social programs.

Instead of blaming these people, one must question their own government authorities who make the rules and legislation to facilitate this. Maybe it's just the truth of a desperate Canadian economy that needs immigrants to keep fueling the 'aging' Canadian economic engine. These people come in and work hard, odd jobs (not to mention the exceptional skilled ones as well like Doctors, health care workers etc.) which the regular Canadian wouldn't do. I've been in Canada for 2 years without a Family doctor. Thank God, the last 10 different Doctors I met were all fresh immigrants and came to my rescue. Ask your conscience, without these immigrants, you wouldn't be getting your late night coffee at the time Hortons drive thru, no one to take your blood works without you waiting several months in waiting, no ways for universities to subsidize tuition fees for the poorer Canadian students. If immigrants stop coming in, the nice detached home you live in will go down in value, the nice truck you drive will become more expensive, your kids University tuition fees will sky rocket, Canadian companies selling groceries, furniture, etc. Will have lesser revenue and eventually get eaten up be American giants, Canadian companies won't have cheap labour to build those much needed housing. \nNot only question your government, but also question your 'own' people.. Where are they to serve you? Where are the so called patriotic 'original' Canadian Doctors'? They are off to US to earn more money. We have pretty much very similar challenges in Australia. I would say living cost is even higher than Canada. But the good aspect is the weather. In Western Australia we enjoy over 300d Blue sunny skies and in Winter although rainy, we seldom get below freezing temperatures. So i don't need to worry about damaging my LFP batteries for my Offgrid solar system.\nAnother benefit is the bike path network in WA is extensive. You can pretty much get to anywhere on a bike, riding mostly on a very nice and safe bike path. I cover 60km every day travelling to/from work on my ebike. And it takes less than 1 hour for each trip.\nCrime rate has been getting worse though. It is fuel by drug use. So if people go out especially at night, you definitely need to be highly alert and watch your 6 o'clock. One can get attacked for no obvious reason and very commonly from behind. ???

People are easily swayed with words sometimes opinions should to given lightly with all factors and not just the ones the help your opinion seem correct. You should include historical events that started the housing crisis in Canada. Even your graph only showed a spike of immigration intake but only AFTER covid but you sway the conversation to think the intake was so different when even your graph shows it stayed the same till covid. Number of those facts would have been more convincing to strengthen your opinion. Numbers are nice but not when it's placed in again, places that help make your opinion correct. In that case, only one side of the story and most facts are hidden this way. I enjoy the pictures though, nice editing. Lots of videos makes it more engaging and not lose people's interest

My hot take would be to say that paying 3K a month for a really nice flat in the city would be easy shit if the other half of my salary could stay in my pocket every week.
