This is perfect step from USA. When you say "Canadian", you need to understand and admit that the composition of "Canadian population" has changed substantially over the past few years. I wish Canada also takes enough security steps before getting influx. It is not the country where from you come, it is who is coming. And, if one has clean records, what should one worry?

Before Trudeau's liberal government, Canada's permanent resident program was based on factors such as being fluent in English or French (in Quebec), passing standard exams in one's own country, being educated (Bachelor's or higher), work experience, family, age, and knowledge of Canada's general culture. If you had all the points, you would be selected. It took about three years, and while waiting, you could not apply for any visa to enter Canada. The security check was part of the process, and the Canadian government asked applicants to enter the country by bringing money (Like one year's salary). This system was a perfect plan, and many Western countries wanted to copy that (As I heard on many French and American radios before), but the liberals broke the system! And I still don't know why!

There is a clear lie in that video. Nobody is in Limbo. Mind you there is normal Federal Express entry program still happening. Meaning, that if you get selected through that program, you can immigrate to any province of your choice - including Quebec. You can also still get bonus points for Canadian education (Quebec education does count) and Canadian work experience (if it qualifies). So the only thing that happened was, that one provincial nomination program was ended, that is all that happened. The practical problem is, that provincial nomination does give so many points, that it is a guarantee of normal express entry pull as long as you just meet criteria to enter Express entry. So provincial nominations are suitable for people that might be otherwise struggling with points (older age, less language perfection, les bonus points from education or work experience). For a disclaimer, provincial programs are based on a specific province needs and just because one was opened when you planned to go and study or work in Canada, it does not mean it will be like that forever. If an agent made you such promise, then he was misleading you. Again for those people demonstrating, nothing has changed for them other than one future option was gone. They still have their student or work permit until it expires. They also can apply into Express entry program as normal. On a side note for Canadian trying to cheer about this, be aware, such change can also mean that economy projection for next few years is not the best. so take it a warning sign. Or if we are lucky, it was found that this program was not bringing intended type of skilled worker or was heavily abused.

Perfect! International student means you will return to your home country after completion of your studies.

This is a slap in the face to someone who spent over a year preparing to come to Canada. I spent tume and effort and lots of money and sleepless nights to make a perfect application. I made sure I be 100% honest bcuz its mainly part of my religion. When i got accepted and came , I counted the hours in my part time and paid attention that i dont work any extra min over my 20 hours during studies, I did the same for my PGWP and PR application. Its hurts my soul that someone can be dishonest and gets a slot in the quota competing with people who are doing it like me. Its insulting. If those ppl who are not decent enough to submit an honest application and follow the rules they should not be allowed a spot in the quota. They should be removed and sent back to where they came from. Canada should bot tolerate frauds. We literally came gere for a better life , a safer life. By accepting frauds in, you're telling future applicanys to cheat thier way into here.

This is not meant as an insult to people from other cultures but a word of Gods truth being shared so you too can be delivered from the evil in todays word when Jesus does return and He is coming. Not everyone is guilty of evil works of the devil but we are all guilty of sin in every nation and every culture. God gifted us with the death of Christ so we can be delivered form sin in todays world and saved from eternal damnation. No other offer is made to man except those who believe in Christ. They came on fraudulent student visas, with lies, those who had legal student visas, perfectly knew that there are steps towards immigration. Those who had fake visas, also perfectly knew the fact and pretended to be innocent with lies. Instead of following regulations, they started rioting in city squares, in city parks, making noise, throwing garbage. I can't tell if half of these comments are watching the same video as me. I understand there are issues with Canada's current immigration policies and certainly, purely by numbers, there are a lot of immigrants moving to Canada, but I'm genuinely convinced the people in the comments watched the first half of the video and then turned it off. So many weird comments, ranging from "they're bad drivers!" to "I moved away from Brampton because of this problem" (what problem?? Indian people??). In the second half of the video, all three of the religious buildings they entered had extremely kind-hearted people, with free food for ANYONE to enjoy. Again I understand things aren't perfect, but it would seem a lot of people are using "immigration policies are allowing immigrants in too fast" to justify their hatred of Indian people.

As an immigrant who came to this country & fell in love with its culture 40 years ago, it's appalling to see how our beautiful first world country is quickly becoming a gutter. The newcomers these days are the privileged ones. So, just focus on the positive things in your new country & leave all your miseries behind... ie. Learn to adapt & enjoy your new country. Canada is a great country because of the love & effort of those before you, so now you are the beneficiary. Join the legacy by enhancing this beautiful country & its culture, so you can pass on this century old legacy for later newcomers to enjoy, like you do now. What dignity do you have & what kind of life lessons to your children by bullying your culture & religion into Canada at the expense of other Canadians? If they get nasty, I tell them that's definitely not the Canadian way to make friends & wish them Good Luck! This is the scary truth. We Canadians are being purposefully victimized and our rights as citizens has been eroded since the last 5 years. Our restaurants are primarily from India and Pakistan. Some Indian people are here on school visas or work permits and are wonderful people and speak perfect English. They are welcome.
