Wow! As a proud Canadian I ask myself where is the EU in confronting the Evil bully that is Donald Trump.

This bears some similarity to Brexit. Brexit was a trade war with the EU. We ripped up all co-operation and made trade very difficult. Our economy suffered as did the people. Brexit was exactly what Putin wanted. He helped orchestrate it. Our idiot PM (Boris Johnson) has strong links with Russia and even promoted the son of a Russian agent to the House of Lords (our second chamber in Parliament). Putin is laughing at y'all right now.

EU incl all other NATO nations, that you're ZERO without US. You will even not fight with Iran as a combined force.

The Economist floated the idea of CA as EU member. And it makes sense.

My husband and I were both immigrants to Canada, he from S. Africa, I from the UK. I never experienced any discrimination. My busband was diagnosed with late stage bone cancer at 31 years old. The medical care was so good that he lived another 6 mostly happy years. We were supported by the Ontario Health Care system with visiting nurses, even housekeepers and received every help we could possibly need, at no cost to us. I will always be grateful for the love and support we received from Canadian friends, employers and the medical professionals. What a country! I am in Europe now but feel strongly that Canada, the EU, Britain, the wonderful Ukrainians (I know quite a few refugees) and other countries of good will should work together for a better world. We are a family and families support each other in difficult times. Americans welcome when they are ready.

Canadians are Fvcked**. everything in their country before is expensive now its going to be more. Canada blowing smoke. Canada and EU have always charged USA with high tariffs where the USA did not reciprocate. Now we will level the field. Do your research people. Canada needs the USA, USA does not need Canada. This can be all solved on tariffs if all countries do reciprocal %'s. Doubt that will happen.

I am Canadian Citizen, but 100% support Trump for what he is doing for his country. Every country should be independent whatever their core values. I hate making a group of countries to blackmail other countries like EU, BRICS, NATO are doing around the world. Of course, we can make group of countries to fight with poverty, climate, making people life better, but what NATO and EU are doing just pathetic.
