Things are bleak in Canada so, now the migrants are hoping it will work out in New York. The USA and Canada cannot be hold so many illegal immigrants.

Just remember that the Canadian population of the whole country is less than the population in the State of California. We are also spread out over a land mass that is bigger than the whole of the United States. We don't really have the vast amount of people needed to completely control the longest boarder in the world. So while the government needs to up their involvement in this situation, patrolling this boarder is impossible.

Why is this happening you say. I can tell you probably what I think why this is happening and that is our president's open boarder policy. So all these people are trying to enter the United States with just the clothes on their backs. They want the American dream. I hate this so much. I know it’s not these peoples fault that their countries aren’t helping them but America isn’t even helping its own people. Imagine how it feels to be from the US struggling and then these people come and somehow our country has the means to help them when they won’t not can’t won’t help their own. What other country do you know of where you can just decide to cross their boarder demand help and say you know what I’m just going to live here illegally now. It wasn’t because he was being mean it was because if people started holding onto the boat and trying to get on the boat they would panic, and eventually everybody would swarm the boat. Well the same here there’s people who are already drowning, and other people from other countries want to come here, but all they’re gonna do is sink the ship, and then there will be no help for anybody and everyone will be doomed. Why can't they come here legally?? My grandparents crossed the boarder and became legal Citizens. Followed the laws adopted the country and didn't try to change the country. They learned the language and worked migrant jobs until they found better jobs. They encouraged us all to stay in school and better ourselves. I am a for immigrants but this need to be fixed. How to fix it, is charge American a $10,000 fine if you hire a illegal. Then make these people apply from home where we have time to check there background and then given a date to come. A wall does not work so we need drones and more people on the boarder. Most of these people do not and we only need so many fruit pickers. Also I think new immigrants should be required to take a class to learn the ways of the country so they do not accidentally cause conflicts and problems.
