This is not an isolated incident. Brown guys in delivery jobs, especially students from South Asia, face this kind of humiliation in everyday life. Forget parents, even many immigrants are unhappy in Canada. Every time I run into an Indian who has studied or lived in US he is frustrated. 2 people in my team received their Canadian citizenship and have started trying for positions in US. 3 white Canadians in our company moved to US in last 2 year itself.\nCanada is not a great country from parents. It's cold, white and depressing throughout. Many parents can stay for relatively longer in California or Texas where there is vibrant community and weather is very much like India. I lived for 10 years of life in snow before moving to Canada - Massachusetts, North Carolina and Virginia. I just 2 winters, I feel depressed in Canada as it's white for 4 to 5 months.

Medicare sucks! Even as a privileged white person having just moved cities not province and after 3 years and 2 cancers I still don't have access to a family doctor. Forget about any tests or diagnoses because you are told you need to have a family doctor to have access. People die of curable diseases here more than in many other developed countries. One of the top issues is being black. Seen as black and identified as black when you leave a predominantly Black Country. \nWhen I watch the various Realestate shows of white people buying property abroad as second home or just packing up and moving. I always say it must be nice! Canada business system prefers the big franchises businesses that have millions of dollars. If you have a small shop or restaurant get beaten by the big corporations that has franchises. the food costs are high and when selling u just cant sell for a better profit that can actually make you money. The Multi big paying makes money in Canada not the small business immigrants come and create. In many African states many of the individual business that strife and create wealth because there isn't too much huge corporations that competes with this small business like the first world nations. In SA for example we have seen an explosion of many migrants going there creating small business and striving better than they will be in Canada. The taxes are high in Canada that's true u cant be rich sorry u will work until you lose your hair f not your hair turns white in a very short time due to too much stress and worries. I'm from Canada ?? originally and I speak English, no French. I'm from Winnipeg. Manitoba. I live in Huntsville, Alabama the rocket city!!! ?, although I visit my family that still lives in Winnipeg which is my brother among others and friends I grew up with.
