I am one of the persons(Punjabi and International Student) being talked about in this video. Please allow me to get express some things. \n\nFirst, our homeland was divided into two, one part went to Muslims(Pakistan) and one went to Hindus(India). If we talk about our own state, we are labelled as terrorists. Recently, a 21 year old protester(Google the name Shubhkarman) was shot at by the police and nobody was held accountable. Over 700 people died, in 2021, on the streets of Delhi while protesting for a year to stop corporate buyouts of our agriculture lands(these lands are not 100-200 acre like in West, average land holding by Punjabi farmers is 2.4 acre). Our parents want us to survive, so they send at least one kid to foreign land(Australia, NZ, Canada, US, Dubai, Malaysia, Italy, you name a country).\n\nIndians call us terrorists, westerners call us cheap unskilled labour and some even call us shit skinned, pajeets, diaperheads. \n\nI guess we are just sub-humans who have no rights.

Man, in one video, I hate this reporter, and in another, I love his work. In this video, good job on calling out fake students and Khalistanis. This is a very reasonable video but the problem is people start hating all the Indians and Punjabis after watching stuff like this.... The common reasons why Brampton has so many Indians.\n1) Even in India there are 22 official languages, but unofficial 121 languages with over 700 different dialects. In Brampton, the majority are Punjabi and Gujarati. These names first come from the language they speak, later to the Indian State. Each language represents a culture. In India also everyone feels safe within their community because it is human nature to bully someone who doesn't look the same as them. So, they feel safe within the community. This new Woke culture calls it racism and hate, but I think it is a common human nature.\n2) Helping each other to settle in the same community. So, they prefer to land here first and somehow settle in. The government programs for newcomers are just a waste of taxpayers' money.\n3) Closer to the Airport and Public Transportation is not too bad.\n4) A lot of part-time work opportunities for the students and newcomers. (Not the same under Trudeau anymore)\n5) A lot of activities for parents of the immigrants because they can't learn English or Culture at this age.\n6) Indian Food and Grocery are easily available.\n\nIt was not that bad before, but the latest influx of unskilled immigrants and students with the absence of manners has taken it to an unrecoverable level.

A model of the future of our entire counrty by 2050's , we are giving it to the wrong Indians. Once again natives come last, the true minority of caucasian are called the leading majority demographically and the divisions of Punjabi, Sikh, Pakistani and Hindu's are being segregated as they are back in India. So basically, the question is what will Canada become in 25 years?

Even tho most Canadians in the earlier years were mostly white, it was multicultural because they all came from many other countries and cultures. They still held on to their traditions but yet also formed a Canadian culture.\nTheir was a huge population of Chinese people too. They stuck together in large areas, many didn't speak english. Similar to Quebec maybe. They mostly spoke french and I remember a time when they didn't really like english speaking whites around. Seems like the premier would like it to stay that way. Protecting the culture. \nIn the 80's on the west coast I watched thousands of Sikh's and Punjabi's and similar move into large areas and take over many jobs in large companies. Lumber mills, rail yards, papermills and so on. I went to one job interview and outside the office window was a whole shift of people wearing turbans. Must have been 50 to a 100 of them. 3 years earlier when I toured that place in grade 12, it was all white people. What happened? That was around the time of the recession and jobs were getting scarce. The only people in line for job interviews were white people and the interviewers would not accept anyone without grade 12 and previous experience. Here is what I overheard as people were getting interviewed, Experience? No. NEXT. Experience? Yes. Graduate? No. NEXT!\nAfter 6 months of this I moved to oil country Alberta and Had 6 job call backs in the first day. At 2 to 3 times the pay I would have had in BC. Never looked back. But now that the industry has been attacked and the immigration has skyrocketed, Alberta is in decline.\nJust my 2 cents worth, and the people I mentioned back then, I have nothing against. I knew many and they were good people. \nBut the immigrants of today I feel to many are of another breed and not the same as before them.

I criticized the genocide of my Sikh brothers, sisters and children in riots in Delhi in 1984. That incident is the one that led few sikhs but not all to ask for a separate nation that should be named Khalistan and I want the media to not to call those sikhs “extremists”in foreign countries, we can call them Sikhs asking for separate country, they can not be called “Khalistanis” either because Khalistan doesn’t exist. Also, sikhs and Hindus always got along well. In all India, there are sikhs living everywhere just like Hindus. There was never a conflict or dispute between them. I grew up in a society where my neighbors are all mixed Hindus and Punjabis. As much as Sikhs visit Hindu Temples same goes for Hindus visiting Gurudawaras. How about our film industry, there are so many sikh Punjabis like the Kapoors, the Malhotras, they don’t want to leave India also. I don’t want to my Indian sikhs to make a separate nation. I want the Indian police not to discriminate against certain religion and not be biased. If a Hindu policeman saves a Hindu criminal and wrongfully and falsely put a non Hindu person in jail then it’s purely wrong and discriminatory and same thing goes for a Sikh policeman. How about our soldiers, majority of our soldiers are Hindus and Sikhs, they are protecting India and it’s citizens. I want people of all religions and backgrounds in India to live peacefully and get along.

Being a Punjabi, i do not want to leave Punjab, the people are Loving, the area is surreal and everything is like... YE TOH APNA HAI! but you have to, cause there is no oppurtunity. That's what i've been saying, we need economic reform. Whenever i've raised my concerns for the punjab's issue, i've been called anti national, terrorists by the Indians. That is one reason why sikhs here in canada have started using their identity as Punjabi over Indian. Whenever anyone asks me where I'm from, I just simply say Punjab not India.
