The schools took in billions and made the municipalities take on the burden of rental demands, cost of food and resources. Sue the schools for not providing housing! The biggest concern is that they took over a town that has prime real estate and best location! Why are they allowed to take over infrastructure, best land and all the tax paying resources like Health Care, when they are not even from Canada or not even Candian Citizens. Took my parents 6-7 years to get to Canada, legally, approximately 35 years ago. How do these people come as students, then take jobs from citizens, and then sponsor their family members who can't even contribute to our society. Literally putting a burden on all the systems. The government not patching this loophole has fked us up. You come to study, then do that and go back.

The problem is that Canada didn't just take immigrants from India, they took in criminals in the name of "asylum". In certain parts of India, there used to be small-scale separatist movements, back in 1970s and 1980s. Senior Trudeau saw this as an opportunity to vent his frustration for India's not signing of NPT . So the guy kept giving "asylum" to the violent separatists, to "teach India a lesson" (Yeahh... sure) Gradually, it became so that once you have gained enough rep in organised crime, drug trade, so that it's difficult for you to stay under the radar in India, running from law enforcement, you would run to Canada, UK or Australia, and ask for asylum, with whatever reason. And those countries, in their stupid sense of righteousness, would accept it without any background checks. Now, yes, it's a trouble for us (good job), because most of the gang leaders are hiding away in these countries, running their operations remotely. Indian officials are only able to nab the low-level gang members. But it also means that these countries now ALSO have the worst criminals in their cities. And once they settle down, they will do what they know best .... crimes. And gradually they become a problem for their host countries, as well as other Indians in these countries. (Whenever Khalistanis do any parade, they force other Indian families to put up their yellow flags on their homes, to make it look like they have massive support) It's not good for anyone, but these countries have put themselves in a position from which they have no idea how to extricate themselves. Sure, you may blame Indians. But we were literally asking you to send those criminals back, and you refused to do so. Now they are your problem. If they create problems for us, then maybe, they will drop de** in some parking lot. But apart from that, most of their activities are going to be Canada's problem to deal with. They are already turning the streets of Canada into a drug paradise, hurting the young people of both local and Indian origins. Such a waste of life and potential.

Sad to see the racist comments both in the video as well as in the comments. There is no doubt that Canada took too many immigrants in the past 5-7 years. The reasons are many - and the blame goes on both the provincial conservatives and federal liberals. The tuition freeze in Ontario caused colleges and universities to treat foreign students as an ATM to balance their budgets. Foreign enrollments skyrocketed, especially in colleges, with students paying top dollar for dubious degrees with no job prospects. This put strains on the job market, and the housing/rental market. As an educated Indian-American who now lives in Canada, it pains me to see my fellow countrymen dominating Uber, Uber Eats, Bicycle food delivery and Tim Hortons. No one uproots everything in their home country and comes all the way for this. Most of these people are here legally and they work really hard. A last word - leaving aside the Khalistan issue that has caused a wedge between Hindus and Sikhs - the Indian diaspora, especially the Sikh, are amazing in the amount of charitable work that they do. Their concept of seva is unmatched. No one goes hungry when there is a Gurdwara around, as there is always free nutritious food. Same is true for temples. Even a young poor Steve Jobs ate at Iskcon temples. Last point - while some of Canada's problems are because of excessive immigration, Canada would be nothing without immigrants. The population would decline, with a native fertility rate of under 1.4, and entitlement programs would be in deep trouble.

When I visited Toronto, an Indian fast food worker said he was giving me an extra BBQ sauce as a favor and would charge for the second, I called the manager too school this moron and she was also shocked , when you mass import million of 3rd world largely uneducated Indians they mentally still think the are in India

We took in way more than we can handle. Canada already has a small population. Our system is designed for OUR population, and now it's crumbling under the weight of way too many new people that aren't even working with us, just laying around and begging. ENOUGH.

I am an immigrant,I never abused the system, never took what was not mine, I worked hard and I am nurse, I waited four years to purchase my dream car and 2 months in, the person who don’t use road codes or stop light hit my car! I worked hard and I am kind and respectful…. People who steal DAILY gets a slap on their wrist and gets their Canadian citizenship right away. I don’t eat or drink and place my cup on store shelves with clothes that other people are about to purchase. Canada is not safe anymore! All the jobs are going to a set of immigrants who acts like pigs! Driving in the dowtown area, u have to keep your foot on the break because there WILL be about 20 bikes that will ride in front of your car without notice . I work so hard and sometimes it’s so overwhelming, the last time this got to me…. I had to go and take a little vacation…. No I could not afford it but it’s better than getting stressed out because Canada is becoming a 3rd world country!!! There are HONEST people who work so hard and cannot afford anything , not even their rent! WE ARE FED UP, it is not the older immigrants, it is the new ones that are destroying the country and turning it into trash!

I am Native American. At college, I took a welding course just to break the monotony of classes as I was raised using my hands. This immigrant male, asked the rest of the class "why is she here?". I asked if he had a problem with me and he looked at the class to tell me not to speak to him. No one said a word but looked between us in silence. I asked him again, "do you have an issue with me being here?". Again he told the rest of the Caucasian men to tell me to stop speaking to him. I said if you have a problem with me, let's step outside and one of us will walk back in. You can't accept that a Native female is in this class, pack your family up and go home. Don't think of the state's because that's mine too. The teacher walked in and he could see and sense the tension in the room. He removed the immigrant and they went out of the room. A few minutes later the instructor came in and looked at me and said he'll be taking a class with no females. His country doesn't allow females an education yet alone a trade. You're welcome to stay. I have no intention to leave, was my comment back. I'm here to learn. Decades later, I'm driving home from northeastern Quebec and on the 401 is a gas/food stop. My child and I were passed by 4 luxury sports cars. They pulled into this stop and parked across all the handicapped parking spots. Bumper to bumper across the spots. We went in and met them as we came out and met a truck driver of the same nationality. He asked "how is Canada treating you?". They smiled and said "look", motioning to their silk suits. Another pointed to their cars. And another said "they treat us like kings'!". The fourth said "Canadians are easy to play! Cowards!!" A few days later, I'm at Walmart and present my tax exempt (we pay 5% tax) but the cashier looks at it and states "you all think your so special!!" Your paying the tax like everyone else! A customer behind me yelled for management loudly. When management showed, I didn't say a word because it was the customers behind and on the side of me with complaints of the rudeness of the cashier. She was removed and manager took over transactions. Not just mine but those after me. There was another incident with my child. An immigrant (can tell by the long tunic) was trying to lure my daughter away from me. I put her in a cart and requested help from a young employee who wanted me to write a book before calling security. Another employee came over and called security immediately. By the time they found the man, he had exited the store and got into a taxi. A few weeks later at an arena where youth hockey practice was taking place, the same scenario was happening. A man in a tunic was trying to lure children away and when caught, jumped into a taxi and left the scene. To attack an adult who can defend themselves is one thing but to go after children is another. I say stricter policy on crimes are needed.

Immigrant here, we got vetted and the condition to get into Canada was that we were WANTED by a employer so desperately that they paid crazy money to get us in. We speak English in public and we did pretty good here. Well until the libs took over and everything goes downhill now for 10 consecutive years. What's coming now is going to change the country to the worse.

Issue is. We are not hearing enough feedback from the average Canadian. The Canadians who dont face hardship and issues welcome all the new into Canada. I will bet that the average Canadian ( lower to middle class ) would say things are fine and if we took a moment to get opinions in a couple cities or even towns in Canada ( Ontario specifically) and ask the lower to middle class we will see just how negative the impact is on us.

I get what people are saying in regards to the more recent influx BUT for everyone talking about deportation……..you DO REALIZE THAT all of us who aren’t Native ARE immigrants & at some point we or our ancestors did this to the Native people. I'm a proud Canadian Immigrant of Indian origin. I came here to do specialized studies in Game Development. I took my time, and studied 6 years as an international student, paying 3x the tuition, sank $200,000 of hard earned money into the Canadian Education system — Not as a fast track gimmick to immigrate, but so I could achieve my dream as a Game Developer. This money was family income, earned on 1/4th the salary, taking 4x longer to save. I was a great privileged to me. Today 15 years later, no one would ever think I'm from India. I sound Canadian, I behave Canadian, I have Canadian values, and I am Canadian. I came here because I loved Canada. I would watch hours upon hours of indigenous history, and on my Citizenship day, I watched Juno Beach to celebrate. However I must say this... I suffered through s*icidal depression here for 8 years, because I had far less leverage here than in a developing country, and it's really telling what sort of situation we're all in... Rent caps in Canada were removed... The housing market was open to foreign investors / and real estate monopolies with a 20% year-on-year rise... Rents went from 1000$ to 2100$ MINIMUM for a 1 bedroom through Trudeau's term and the govt said "It's not a federal responsibility"... Auto insurance is like 2.5-3.5k a year in Ontario and if you get a dent, you pay a deductable... I was quoted 8500$ for two wisdom teeth surgeries while it costed me 260$ abroad... During Covid - property owners, banks, and grocery stores exploited our misery and made record profits!... The govt stopped filtering through it's immigrants with "interviews", and it's operating like a scam — "Bring all your foreign money, convert it to CAD, and keep our GDP stable.. while we neither have the infrastructure, nor the job market to support these numbers". I think some accountability is due... these issues are "symptoms", not the problem — The problem is our Liberal govt / policies, and our wonderful voting body who voted Liberal term after term after term while complaining. Why does this govt safeguard extremism, foreign politics, foreign separatism? Khalistanis are as much of a threat / nuance to India than it is to Canada, but in Canada they actually have a unrestricted platform. Instead of resenting immigrants, we need to start resenting how mismanaged Canada is by our govt, and hold our voting body accountable. We had a chance to vote differently, but once again a repackaged and rebranded Liberal term. Because my ethnicity is Indian, I've become an object of collective resentment / hatred, and I don't think that's fair.. Please direct it at your vote, and govt level policies. Why should I (and other's like me) be crucified with the sins of other immigrants? It's like hating all your neighbors in a burning building, when the management has been lighting the fire.

Can thank Trudeau for the immigration mess we are in. Between 2015 to 2024, Canada took in just over 3 million immigrants. This does not include temporary foreign workers and international students both of which saw a significant increase especially after mid-2022. About over one quarter of the new immigrants are from India and Pakistan. This likely explains how Brampton became the fastest growing city in Canada (ninth most populous municipality in Canada) and the third largest city in Ontario surpassing Mississauga at the start of 2025 behind Toronto and Ottawa. Trudeau preached immigration diversity but this is not diversity when over a quarter came from 2 countries.

Healthcare in Canada is only a promise, the reality is the wait-list, every step of the way. I took a 17-month wait for a mri and cut it down to 17 hours, cutting a multi-year process down to 6 days. To get a mri in Canada is not easy there are only a smattering of private options if you want to pay, but you still have to wait 3 weeks, and it will cost $3500. I said screw it, bought a plane ticket, flew to Bangkok arriving on a Saturday, saw a doctor on Sunday, had a mri on Monday, and got the results on Friday. Then I spent the next week sitting on a beach. The total cost all in was $1900. I am not fussy, I'll accept any hospital in any country that will accept me.

As you can tell from my name I am an immigrant from India. Been in this part of the world for almost 40 years. Educated from kindergarten with English as medium of instruction, a post graduate degree, in IT - one of the first things I did was watch, listen and learn how things are done here. I considered it a privilege and I took it as my obligation to integrate, not import my values or culture here. I worked, paid my taxes and never expected a handout from anybody or from the government. I loved to be the brown dot in a sea of white. I loved my new country. After the pandemic years, things have changed. There has been a sudden browning of Canada. I didn't leave India 40 odd years ago for India to come to me. NO, I am not being racist and it is not just the visual browning either. The loud, non English speaking, profusely littering, rude, entitlement-minded, anti-social, riffraff that seem to have found their way here displacing the native, white Canadians. I so miss the "eh". I miss the polite society. Wherever I go, I see a sea of immigrants speaking their own tongue. Rude, misbehaved. Cutting you off in line. Discarding the shopping cart any where they please. I am getting older every year and I do not want to die in a country that is suddenly so foreign to me. I would love my old Canada back, please. I want my "eh"s back please. I did my part in the last elections, but lost out to "them". Are we at a point, where we can never get the old Canada back??????

I think due to the prosperity and stability Canada has enjoyed for so long Canadians have developed a certain standard of living and expectations in regards to that. So no, we don't want to have to work 2-3 minimum wage paying jobs to get by, no we don't want to live 4 or more to a 400 sqft studio apartment, yes we want to be able to afford our own homes, yes we want to be able to achieve a stable middle class lifestyle. That doesn't work for the crony capitalists who's greed and lust for power always needs satiating. So we have the Liberal government bringing in more immigrants than we have infrastructure to accommodate in an effort to keep wages down so profits can always be up. Immigrants who are willing to accept a lower quality of life than what most Canadians expect/accustom to because it's still superior to where they came from. So the quality of life for all Canadians is exponentially reduced. We are to accept a lower quality of life and if we resist then we are branded with all kinds of derogatory names; racist, xenophobe, fascist, unacceptable fringe, far-right extremists, et al. What's undeniable is that before the Liberals took power in 2015 we had an immigration system in Canada that worked quite well and that since the Liberals took power our immigration system is a destructive mess. This isn't by accident or incompetence, it's intentional, by design. Unfortunately Canada has a problem with so much of our population being ideologically blind, willingly ignorant, easily manipulated, cowardly staying in an abusive relation with our current oppressive government. Question is can the country be saved before too much damage is done?

I was born here in Canada in 1969 and since Justin Trudeau took over as our government, everything just went downhill. I also very upset with our government bringing in millions of Immigrants and giving large handouts of of our Canadian tax dollars to support the new immigrants that our coming into Canada. Why is the government giving large hand outs to these Indian immigrants instead of helping us true Canadians who helped built this Country. It is a dam shame to see what the Liberal Government our doing to this country of ours were many are homeless, high cost of living and the high crimes that happens every day in Canada and what does the government do is let these criminals back into our streets where us true Canadians do not feel safe any more. The one thing that pisses me off is seeing is all these new immigrants coming into Canada by the thousands that are taking away our Canadian entry jobs like Walmart, McDonalds and A & W fast food restaurant where as our young born Canadian students and others can not find a job to help them pay for there school loans and get a good education degree. Trudeau's words are smoke and mirrors a bit imo. Liberals will go forward with an additional 20% carbon tax dispitie the tariffs occurring. Trump isn't the only one that is harming Canada in one way or another. Trump is forcing Canada to do better with our borders and crisis's that had not been addressed quickly enough. We (Canada) allowed these issues to get out of hand and it took another country to tell us that we needed to do better because the issues affect them as well. Many people took up his Trumps cause. I do believe that Mexico should endure the tariffs but not Canada!

His girlfriend is running foreign ministry of Canada, both of them targeted India big time just because India took out some of the Khalistani terrorists on Canadian soils.

I seriously respect him. I still want the west coast to part ways and go with Canada or separate in general. Trump is burning every bridge that took years to build.

I support Trump and I support MAGA. However a president needs to keep his word and Trump appears to have broken his word here. He asked Canada to reign in illegal immigration to the US and Canada complied. He said do something about fetanyl and Canada did. Trump said the tariff's were because Canada was not acting on these but now they have and we imposed the tariff's anyway. We look like liars and cheats. \nEven with Mexico we threatened tariffs if they didn't help with crackdown on illegal immigration, fetanyl, and drug cartels. Mexico complied and is also helping us. And we still slapped tariffs on them. We lied to Mexico too. \nAnd now we want everyone to trust us to negotiate a peaceful end to the Ukraine war with Trump threatening more sanctions on China and the EU. What the heck should they trust us and believe us after what we just did. \nWhen it comes to defining your character your willingness to keep your word overrules absolutely everything else. Our president gave his word that if these countries took certain actions there would be no tariffs. They did and now he slapped them both in the face with sanctions anyway. He broke his word. This is a dishonorable action. I hope it does not escalate from there. \nIf it was about promoting or building domestic industries, I think the Canadians could have helped us with that but now.... good luck now that bridge has been burned.

Canada took the wrong side ?

If you are an American citizen and you are siding with Canada, you are a TRAITOR!!! As an American, a woman of African descent and an immigrant, I 100% understand why my President has taken the hard but necessary decisions that he took. It is time for other citizens of the world to realize that the USA is NOT HEAVEN, and America is NO SANTA CLAUS!!! This country has wayyyyy tooo many problems to continue with the foolish foreign and economic policies that we have pushed in the past...CNN it is about time you start speaking truth!!!

I’m an Indigenous American here, I say if Canada was really our friend then they would understand that they have been taking advantage of our countries kindness for too long and it’s time they step up.. If us trying to do something good for our own country for one time instead of everybody else and it’s a problem like this then maybe we weren’t friends anyway..
