When will the Western leaders wake up, they still talk about friends. Trump is not a friend. Trump looks up to Dictator and it is clearly his big dream to make the US the same type of regime, he does nothing but tell the less intelligent Americans that Putin etc. are not the bad guys, they need to get used to the idea that that type of regime is a good thing. So it is easier to try to maintain power

Now the whole world sees that you cannot trust the U.S. Hopefully someone close to Trump will knock some sense into him. This is a bad idea ! After 4 years if high inflation, Trump is making things worse for the poorest with thess tariffs. If the U.S stands alone on the world stage, they will look like stooges because nobody likes a bully.

Not surprised. Trump, you're an idiot. You will lose all your allies and significant trade lanes because you have no idea how to run your country and negotiate. Your economy and people will suffer. If you isolate US from the rest of the world, who will come to your aid if Russia decides to take you over? Where will the Americans flee to? Mexico?

Trumps own words, “Vote for me, you will never have to vote again!” \nThis one is showing up on several pages. Make up your own mind. \nThere is something rancid in America, a slow, creeping rot that smells like cold McDonald’s fries, aerosol hairspray, and the unmistakable musk of a country too sedated to recognize its own hostage situation. For years, the idea that Donald Trump was compromised by Russia was dismissed as paranoid fantasy—just another wild-eyed conspiracy theory, another overblown headline in the endless saga of American political dysfunction. \nBut now, two former Soviet intelligence officers—Alnur Mussayev and Yuri Shvets—are saying it outright: Trump was recruited by the KGB in 1987, groomed as an asset, and remains under Russian control to this day. \nAnd the worst part? He’s already back in the White House. \nThat’s right, America. You did it. You walked face-first into the banana peel of history, slipped, and fell straight into the arms of Vladimir Putin. Trump was kicked out in 2020, spent four years plotting his comeback, and now he’s returned, like a bloated, orange cockroach that just won’t die. The Kremlin’s favorite stooge is running the country again, and this time, he knows exactly how to stay in power. \nIf you think this is just another round of the Trump Show, you’re not paying attention. This isn’t politics anymore. This is treason. This is foreign subversion. This is a God forsaken coup in slow motion. \nLet’s break it down, nice and simple. \nAlnur Mussayev isn’t some Twitter conspiracy theorist with a tinfoil hat and a podcast. He’s the former head of Kazakhstan’s National Security Committee, which means he knows exactly how Russian intelligence works—because he was part of the system. And what he’s saying should make every American’s blood run cold. \nAccording to Mussayev, Trump was identified, recruited, and compromised by the KGB in 1987 during his first trip to Moscow. They saw him for what he was: a narcissistic, greedy, attention-starved buffoon who could be easily manipulated. The KGB flattered him, promised him business deals, and planted the seeds of political ambition in his empty little head. And from that moment on, he was their man. \nBut Mussayev isn’t alone. Former KGB major Yuri Shvets said the exact same thing in 2021: Trump was cultivated by Soviet intelligence because he was an easy mark—too stupid to realize he was being played, too egotistical to care. They saw him as a useful idiot—a man who could one day be nudged into power, a walking, talking Trojan Horse for Russian interests. \nAnd now? The plan has worked. Trump spent four years in office weakening America from within, got booted out, and now he’s back for round two. \nIf you had told the American public in 1962 that a Soviet-backed asset would one day sit in the White House, they would have burned Washington to the ground before letting it happen. But today? Nobody seems to care. \nThe media treats this like just another wacky subplot in the never-ending Trump reality show. Congress is too busy fighting over meaningless culture war nonsense to do anything about it. And the American public? Exhausted. Numb. Checked out. Years of scandals—Russia collusion, Ukraine blackmail, classified documents, tax fraud, sexual assault, an attempted coup—have fried the country’s brain like an overcooked steak at Mar-a-Lago. \nTrump has done the impossible. He has committed so many crimes, so openly, so brazenly, that none of them matter anymore. \nAnd now, with Mussayev’s revelation that Trump is an active foreign asset, we have finally reached the point where the biggest political scandal in American history is met with a collective shrug. \nThis is how democracy dies—not with a bang, but with a goddamn eye-roll. \nThis is the part where the skeptics start clutching their pearls. “Oh, come on,” they say. “If Trump were really a Russian asset, wouldn’t there be more proof?” \nTo which I say: Are you blind, or just willfully stupid? \nLet’s go through the evidence, shall we? \nTrump spent his entire first term doing exactly what Russia wanted. He attacked NATO, calling it “obsolete” and threatening to pull the U.S. out. He tried to blackmail Ukraine into manufacturing dirt on Joe Biden, because weakening Ukraine helps one man and one man only: Vladimir Putin. He pulled U.S. troops out of Syria, handing power over to Russian forces. He picked fights with Canada and Europe while cozying up to dictators. \nEven now, in his second term, he is more openly pro-Putin than ever. He has made it clear that he will not protect NATO allies from Russian aggression. He is actively dismantling America’s alliances, just as Russia planned. And while Americans scream at each other over whether Target should sell rainbow t-shirts, Trump is quietly selling the country to the Kremlin. \nAt some point, you have to stop calling it a coincidence and start calling it what it is: treason. \nThe United States is running out of time. If Trump serves out this term without being removed, America as a functioning democracy is finished. \nThe media needs to wake up. Enough with the “Trump fatigue” excuse. This is not just another scandal—this is the single greatest infiltration of American power in history. Journalists need to dig into Mussayev’s claims, demand declassification of intelligence files, and treat this like the national emergency that it is. \nCongress needs to subpoena Mussayev immediately. His testimony must be public, and every document he has should be reviewed. If there is proof that Trump has been compromised since the 1980s, the American people need to know. \nThe Justice Department needs to stop pretending that Trump is just another politician. If there is evidence that the sitting president of the United States is working in Russia’s interests, he must be removed from office and prosecuted for espionage. \nAnd the American public? You have one last chance. This is not about Republican vs. Democrat. This is not about taxes, gas prices, or whatever nonsense outrage is dominating the news today. This is about whether the United States remains a sovereign nation, or if we spend the rest of the century as a Russian client state with a golf course. \nThe sheer volume of Trump's corruption, the blatant nature of his crimes, the mountain of evidence that should have ended his political career a hundred times over—none of it mattered. He survived it all, not because he was innocent, but because he drowned the country in so much scandal that nothing stuck. \nBut this time, it’s different. If Mussayev and Shvets are right, this isn’t just another chapter in the endless Trump circus. This is the culmination of a decades-long Russian intelligence operation to install an asset in the White House. \nThere is no coming back from this. If America lets Trump serve out this term without removing him, then the United States as a democratic republic is finished. The country won’t collapse overnight. There won’t be tanks in the streets. Instead, the destruction of democracy will happen in slow motion—buried under lawsuits, propaganda, and corruption so blatant that people stop caring. \nIf America lets this happen—if Trump is allowed to complete his mission—then Putin wins. The West crumbles. And the people who could have stopped it will look back, years from now, and wonder how they let it happen. \nGood night, and good luck. Because if people don’t wake up, America is going to sleepwalk straight into its own funeral.

Looking in from the out side I applaud Trudeau on his speech. But........ Canada needs the USA more than the USA needs Canada. Trump is who the United States elected by a majority. No games..... no fraud..... He IS THE Average large pickup driving, loud and rude American. He Is America and the rest of the world needs to take note.\n\n To be fair, in historical terms, the USA was created to be isolated and different than Europe. They went to War to become an independent country away from Europe. This whole idea that they follow Europe everywhere is only a small blip in history since WW2, they were never set up to be that.\n\n If Anything, the rest of the world should see there mistake in becoming so dependent on the USA. You should never put that much faith and trust in just one country.

Ok Trump. Let’s see if your idea will bring back companies to the US. Time will tell.

The tariffs are on all countries importing into the U.S. \nYou either build in the U.S. or have higher tariffs, it’s a strategy to build more business and jobs in the U.S. \nFixing the U.S. economy that is $36 TRILLION in Debt, while cutting off foolish spending in USAID. Do you have a problem with that?\n\nThe decision to befriend Russia is not cause Trump is pro-Putin, but to end a war Zelenskyy wants to continue for years, an utterly unnecessary war where thousands are dying for no reason, and billions spent on war when you can spend it on building up the economy (we already gave Zelensky 300 BILLION of our taxpayer money and Ukraine isn’t winning). The goal is to end unnecessary dying and to prevent WW3 nukes flying. Only complete fools think playing games with NUKES is a good idea, pointing a finger at you NATO!\n\nWhen NUKES fly, we are literally f…..ed!!!!

This is how a Statesman addresses his nation and the world.\nThe eloquent and thought gone into this speech.\nCanada, you are deep in our thoughts here in the UK.\nYou are our nearest cousins and will always be.\nThe world is a dangerous place at the moment, thanks to Donald Trump and his vice-president.\nBut they have no idea or understanding of 20th century world history.\nMr Trump, take a look at Germany 1930s...

I’m not a fan of Trudeau but he speaks in a calm rational manner. He is polite but firm. I’m an American and although I agree with some of Trumps ideas, being rude and not thinking things through before acting, is inexcusable. We have enemies all over the world and now we have even turned our friends against us. The drug problem is an American problem, not Canada or Mexico. We can’t keep guns from entering Mexico, arming the cartels, how can we expect the Mexican government to keep drugs out of America?

Prime Minister Trudeau, I am sorry President Trump's irresponsible ideas and choices affect so many negatively which includes you and your Canadians, and me and my Americans, as well as so many other. He should be ashamed of himself, but we all know that a narcissist feels only joy in hurting others. I worry every day, not just for the people of the United States of America, but also for all people around the world affected by this horrible man. I stand up and speak up with the hope that it makes a difference. Those I know are doing the same. I have heard so many republicans that voted for Trump, so very sorry now that they did. His irrational behavior is worthy of impeachment. Your speech, Prime Minister Trudeau, was honest and sincere and I appreciate your being so candid. I wish President Trump and Vice President Vance had the character you have. Best Wishes to you and the People of Canada, we have been friends for a long time and I would love to continue this friendship. Remember there are Americans here that appreciate you and your country.

I agree with all this courageous man has said. Wow-truth from a politician. Novel idea. The Anti-Trump. Go Justin.

So can someone clarify for me something, the US is puttint tarrifs against 3 seperate nations about 25% each and then the nations are in turn implementing tarrifts on the US about 25% each, so in total about 75%, how does trump think this is a good idea, each nations that we have tarrifs on only have a fraction of the total tarrifs we will feel, or am I wrong for adding the tarrifs from china mex and canada ??

Musk ideas for Trump to do the dumbest thing...??
2025-03-04 0
Trump will insult our Prime Minister. He will make him sound like an idiot! The only idiot is Trump! He has absolutely no idea what he’s doing or talking about! No idea!
2025-03-04 0
I used to think that the idea that Trump is a Russian asset was just a conspiracy theory. I am not sure of that now as how else to you explain why Trump is doing everything he can to undermine the USA? Why else would you cause a breech between the US and our allies Canada and Mexico? Why else would he destroy the infrastructure of our country through Musk and Doge? Why else would you stop all aid to Ukraine? Why would you stop cyber operations targeting Russia? Why would he set up an operation to humiliate the leader of an allied country fighting for its life against Russian aggression? Why would you send your vice president to Germany and have him insult our allies and not meet with the leadership of the country but rather meet with the essentially neo-Nazi Alternative for Germany? None of this--and many other actions--makes sense unless you begin to understand that Trump is actively trying to weaken our country to the benefit of the Russians. I know it is hard to believe but I can find no other explanation.

Waiting for Trumps response to this. Attacking Trump is a very bad idea ?
2025-03-04 0
As a proud American ?? I don’t support what Trump is doing. I have no idea what Putin has on him.
2025-03-04 0
The idea that Trump is+ve with Russia is wrong. Rest is Chris Allen's Greek encounter. Learn.?
2025-03-04 0
As a US veteran, I have no idea why trump is making these ridiculous decisions. Our country is being lead by blind, ignorant and arrogant people.\nPlease know the majority of Americans do not support this stupidity.\nI love Canadians and always have, Trump will never destroy the friendships made there.
2025-03-04 0
Some crazy ideas, from conspiracy theorist, are suddenly crossing my mind! What about if...Trump was the Manchurian candidate?!!?????
2025-03-04 0
Starting a trade war with our trusted allies is an extremely stupid idea... But does Trump and his associates ever have a good idea?? I am glad Canada is standing up for what is correct!! Hearing Trudeau speak in the language of FACTS, LOGIC, and REASON is SO REFRESHING!!!! Go Trudeau!!!
2025-03-04 0
The crazy MAGA cult followers at my job will say it's my company that's rising prices and it'll be their fault. This is how delusional my co workers are ? nooooooo it's trumps fault!!!! But they worship him. He can do anything and get away with it it's crazy to me. And we Americans have it good!!! I have no idea what these whites guys with big trucks and money in the bank are crying about!!! I make 19 an hour and have it good. How do these people not have it good who makes more than me?? They Blame Canada, Ukraine and the migrants for hardship?? What hardship?,!!!! And if they do have it rough it's their fault!!! Because if a guy like me has everything he needs and is happy how are these crazy maga people not happy who makes more then me?
2025-03-04 0
Are there ANYONE else than Trump that thinks these tariffs is a good idea? ?
2025-03-04 0
IMHO Trump is simply in Putin's pocket, most of his voters probably have no idea. The Russians have bailed Trump out of financial trouble many times. He's their guy.
2025-03-04 0
Trump is a stupid idiot. He has absolutely no idea what he is doing
2025-03-04 0
seems like a stupid idea to respond like this. why not instead react by removing the tariffs you already have on our country. that would end it immediately. this war was started long before trump took office. if you think were going to let you continue ripping us off then good luck with that.
2025-03-04 0
Actually, what would be more of an idea .. US states .. joining Canada .. to get away from trump .. just saying
2025-03-04 0
7:50. I have to disagree w M Trudeau and the WSJ. Trump is not smart and this a dumb idea. Trump is dumb and this is a stupid idea. And I find it hilarious the as soon as Trudeau starts speaking French, CNN cuts away.
2025-03-04 0
As a US citizen who voted for Trump, I have no idea why Trump impose tariffs on Canada. Why can’t Trump just ask Canada straight if he wants something done by Canada? Does he want to limit Chinese products through Canada?
2025-03-04 0
I have no idea what Trump is trying to do, the Canadians our not the cause of US problems

This is just a sampling of what happens when you elect an official do the highest office in the land while this individual Donald Trump is Holden s official position as dog catcher is out of his ability. The issue on fentanyl, is a intoxicant that will not and cannot be defeated. This is a total failure on the government's inability to protect its own citizens that is their number one job.. The only solution that I have heard that remotely makes any sense is the Cato institute conclusion that the wisest route to go is completely legalization with age restrictions. While this may not be the desired outcome it's the only one that I see that makes any sense whatsoever it seems that when a solution like this offered so many individuals who have no gravitas in this matter will come back to the same nonsensical bulshit that they're going to stop the flow that is absolutely impossible. However we will continue on that course and we will continue to fail. The Cato Institute was initially funded by the Koch brothers a extremely conservative organization that gets together a group of the brightest and the best in trying to determine what is the best solution.the Koch brothers were the group that invented the tea party I would love for anybody who disagrees with this post. I would like anybody who thinks that this is a far-fetched idea ,all I ask is that if you disagree with the finding that it should be legal with age restrictions if you disagree I would like to hear a solution that you have in mind that you think is better than the Cato Institute finding. I am under the impression that you do not have anything that remotely resembles a solution to this terrible problem. Right off the bat, with uality control, you'll stop hundreds of thousands of deaths. All of the issues that are being dealt with are just so screwed up because we've already been through this before. After making a constitutional amendment to ban the manufacturing of alcohol it was reversed and I hope that the country realize that we cannot win this battle with the same mindset. The only reason why fentanyl is such a dangerous intoxicant is because there's no quality control. Also the cartels are not affected negatively \nBy allowing the government deal with this problem. the end result would be not only do you save lives but you also have put a very negative Spike through their heart of the cartel in the pocketbook. Incense elan musk & DOGE cost cutting measures since this War on drugs has caused over a trillion dollars and no 6:28 results. The DEA does not remotely live up to its mission statement and has failed every year since that policy was put in place. I would love to hear any feedback and a solution that is remotely possible.. let's hear some original ideas that the country would benefit from.. the ball is in your court.
2025-03-04 0
This is sheer STUPIDITY. I have no idea what Trump is trying to accomplish here. What good can come from such policies? Is he trying to start a new Great Depression? Start a Third World War? I see no rational thought put in to this at all.
2025-03-04 0
The idea that a large portion of Trump supporters in the US will have lived through the past week and not regretted their choices in the voting booth, is alarming...
2025-03-04 0
Notice how much he has to flatter Trump. He knows that the way to get an idea into Trump's head is through his ego.
2025-03-04 0
I understand now why Trump got angry with Zelenskyy. He didn't want Zelenskyy to start WW3. That was Trumps idea and job
2025-03-04 0
Trump has no idea what he has done.
2025-03-04 0
A.H. in 1939, D.J. Trump in 2025 : different century, same objective, same behaviour, same ideology : fascism. People from the World, prepare yourself for WW3.......and I am unfortunately not kidding and disagree with that idea, but I do not see any other exit to Trump's madness or, should I say, objective...Trump voters, you choose this fate, you'll pay the price of it as every human being on Earth; don't think you'll be spared because you voted for that psychopath. He will not protect you from a nuclear war.
2025-03-04 0
As an American, I say, thank you for standing up to Trump! We all pay the price for the fact that a bunch of fools thought it was a good idea to put an insane felon back in power.
2025-03-04 0
So many of us in the US have no idea how this makes sense, how anything Trump does makes sense.
2025-03-04 0
Russians are in the OVAL OFFICE!!! Donald Trump is a traitor and a KBG Plant!! He was recruited by his first wife a KBG agent who was brought to the US in 1978. as part of a plot to break in to the NYC real estate market!!! The idea was to find a way to launder the increasing profits from Moscows drug and gambling operations!!! He has worked with the Russians for many years and is a personal friend of Putins!!! Russia has control of the US GOVERNMENT AND THEY ARE BUSY DESTROYING THE US ECONOMY AND DEMOCRACY!!! You might as well put Putin in charge!!! Hopefully they will arrest and IMPEACH Trump and his government, before it's too late to do anything!!!
2025-03-04 0
Trump is a clown and his inner circle failed history and social studies. They have no idea what they're doing.
2025-03-04 0
I have a good idea all you guys from different states come together with us usa citizens and take trump out of office cuz we need someone with brains ?
2025-03-04 0
The United States did not start a trade war. Donald Trump started it. Millions of Americans do not believe that tariffs or economic sanctions are necessary or a good idea. On behalf of all decent Americans who believe that our government is in the wrong, we apologize for our president’s behavior.
2025-03-04 0
While I didn't vote for Trump... The idea that this will hit Trump voters almost makes the financial suffering I may have to endure worth it. They will finally feel the consequences of their stupid choices on a personal level. This is the only thing that will speak to them. Thank you Justin Trudeau. I am not looking forward to this personally. But it's important that we as a nation face the consequences of our actions.
2025-03-04 0
We don't need the USA, as a country we are untied. I think Trump has no idea what he is messing with
2025-03-04 0
It's unbelievable once upon a time. Muhammad Gaddafi used to be called mad Dog, but it seems to be a very old mad. Dog is causing poisonous ideas, bitting more than he can chew , and trump politics serve his big egos for the next 4 years, and he never stood up for peace ,he's a big bully, I hope the rest of the world can work together to show trump Canada, Europe and the rest of the world can thrive without America. Well said, priminister Trudo.

To the uneducated liberals in the comments, Canada already has a 270% tariff on American goods and has for the last decade with Donald Trump did was put reciprocal tariffs on Canada toQ further balance, the imbalance so you guys being upset that President Trump isn’t acting tariffs on a country who’s already enacted tariffs on the United States then you’re being hypocrites. \n\nSee most of the world audience understands this you guys are actually the minority. Donald Trump is pulling at 60% in United States. The Democrats are pulling at 21% in United States. Just so you guys have an idea of just how unpopular you guys really are.
