As an American, I don’t watch CNN clips and believe what politicians say on either side to get my news. However, it’s absolutely true that EU, and China places tariffs on the US. It is also true that United States provide most of the security for all the free nations. At what point do we say enough? I do not know if Mexico or Canada has tariffs on US goods before this. But if they did, they have become quite entitled, haven’t they.

Why do people still watch CNN after being lied to over and over? Didn't they tell you Hilary was winning in 2016 and then lied to you guys again about Harris leading in the polls in 2024 lol. Not sure if you guys knew but we all know there's immediate pain with these tariffs but in the long run, we should come out on top. I get you guys are emotional and don't like Trump but the reality is that USA doesn't need Mexico or Canada but they need the USA. Mexico and Canada's exports are 70-80% to the USA while we only export 13-14% to them. This means most of their economy relies on the USA and only a small of ours rely on theirs.

As a Canadian, I can assure you CNN and all Americans, Canada will not back down. Is there no one at CNN who can translate French? Really? I'm American, and I'm hoping Trudeau announces that he's making trade deals with Europe (and even China) that cut us out. Betraying our allies should never be incentvised. I'm even hoping they cut off our oil, which WILL jack gas prices, since our refineries in the Midwest are only deisgned to process Canadian crude. And the truth is that the reason for the tariffs is that Trump has direct control over them, and can probably have Elon do something with the revenue that couldn't be done with normal taxes. We're all getting screwed here.

Why do a piece like this when it is clearly obvious when you interview actual servicemembers past and present about the importance of military camaraderie and mental fitness. If somebody is confused about their sex or gender, that is a mental illness which excludes such people from serving in the United States military branches. CNN gets it wrong, on the wrong side of history even after such extreme ratings losses and audience. Kaitlin is not helping AT ALL.
