This video is a fair assessment.\n\nIndians are generally not bad people. I have spent a month in India and have good friends in the UK who were born in India.\n\nIndians make good citizens in Western countries when they are aware of the cultural differences and allign to the Western culture in their public life and assimilate - and that means raising their sense of the responsibilities of citizenship & civic duty.\n\nBUT problems come when you get a large influx and they dont do these things. Western nations DO NOT want to become India v2.0 ethnically or culturally.\n\nNRIs in Western nations who aren't part of the problem need to become part of the solution. This is what doesn't happen in India. People feel free to behave badly because they aren't called out for it. Overseas Indians need to call each other out for bad behaviours at the time, not just on YouTube.

I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. I love the fact that you spoke some harsh truths here sir, much respect to you and your family sir. I hope you can continue making such informative videos for people to learn from. The other thing I have to add is that the word racism is thrown around too much and too easily in our current woke cultural climate here in Canada and this is just making the immigration issues worse because it produces a culture of fear for those Canadians that would like to help educate those immigrants that need help. But they do not do so because they are afraid of being labeled a racist or some other word and having their livelihoods and overall lives ruined. I am in a position in life where I do not care if people want to say such things about me. I am also well educated and in the position to come up with well articulated arguments in my defence. My main issue with immigration that bothers me more than the rest not only affects us Canadians but also affects the immigrants as well. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Racism is such an antiquated way of thinking… Our skin colours maybe different, just like our cultural backgrounds, but after all is said and done we are all members of the human race. There is one other reason that hatred towards member of your country is going up and it is simply because our hatred for our own government is so high right now and we are all only human. Some of us lash out at people that do not deserve it when we are really upset. That doesn’t make it ok. But I know that the fact that we Canadians hate our government more than ever right now, is due to the simple fact that our own government is not listening to our issues and what we want done with our country. Then that same government will labels us as right wing extremists simply for the fact that we no longer support our current government for example. Canadians are more angry now than they have ever been. The RCMP have been advised about this across the whole of Canada, so you know it is a real issue. I can control myself and will never snap at others due to how frustrated I am, so I would like to apologize to those of you that may have a bad experience with another frustrated Canadian. This is really not our normal behaviour. We’re are all stressed out and being called the bad guys by our own government just exacerbates the whole issue. Again, cheers to you all!!!

One of my closest friends in 2nd gen Indian Canadian in his 30’s, and even he’s had enough of these immigrants coming into Canada and behaving badly because he doesn’t want to be associated with them simply because they look like him.\nWe’re hearing stories of these new immigrants pooping in public, acting incredibly misogynistic towards women, overcrowding rental spaces, sex trafficking women and girls for room and board, and now flooding into the US illegally on tourist visas to Canada, causing tension with the US. \nOn top of this, the Indian government has been enacting state sponsored assassinations on political dissidents in Canada, the US, and Europe, as well as buddying up to Russia which is a hostile criminal government adversarial to NATO countries. \nI’ve personally seen Canadians go from the most welcoming people on earth trying to bring in as many people as possible, becoming increasingly anti-immigration, at least towards India in particular. \nThere doesn’t seem to be the same hostility towards other nations of other ethnicities, so it’s not a racial issue, it is specifically targeted towards Indians because of the bad behaviour of those who’ve recently immigrated.

They are destroying this beautiful and systematic country really bad and still Canadian govt doesn’t understand… ?‍↔️\nImagine Canada after 20-30 years later… ?‍↔️?

When india can get its overpopulation and poverty problem under control, and migrate here without importing bad third world behaviors, then they'd have a better reception in Canada. \n \nThe blatant corruption and third world mindset that abounds in India is going to destroy Canada unless something is done to curtail it. \n \nBangladesh is less than a tenth of the land mass of Alberta and Bangladesh has 171 million people. \n \nYou cannot tell me that people who come from such conditions could ever understand or value what makes Canada different in terms of sanitation and prosperity when the experience of people in India and neighboring regions is so different. \n \nAll I ever hear from Indians is their lack of comprehension or value that lower populations has, in fact many of them have contempt for the fact that anglo westerners don't want to live in dirty and overcrowded conditions. \n \nImporting hundreds of thousands of people with that mindset is going to cause intractable problems with the host country, and you can cry racism all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that there are obvious incompatibilities between people of the overcrowded third world and first world nations.

Hey,\n\nI don’t know how popular you are but I am hoping that you (or someone else reading) can make some short shareable etiquette videos for Indian immigrants. I am constantly annoyed by the following, but because I was born in Canada, I would be cancelled for saying the things you can. I am also Indian. Here’s the list that comes to mind. I might come back and edit this because I am sure there are things I am forgetting: \n\n- coughing into your elbow instead of your hands (literally watched a guy yesterday on the bus cough into his hands then put his hands onto the support bar)\n\n- Standing to the side and letting people off the train so you can get on instead of trying to walk through people who are trying to get off \n\n- Standing up and moving to the side to let somebody off on an inside seat of the bus. I have a butt. I don’t want to be squeezing by you \n\n- Taking off their backpack while standing on the bus and putting it between their legs\n\n- Moving to the back of the bus instead of crowding by the doors\n\n- Standing in lines to get onto the bus instead of crowding\n\n- Not littering. Either put your garbage in the bin or take it with you. Stop leaving it on the beach or on hiking trails.\n\n- Learn about hiking before attempting it. We have people going up in jeans and flip flops in the evening and getting stuck on mountains or injured. Some wear running shoes but they don’t have enough traction for the trail\n\n- Shovel the sidewalk in front of your home when it snows\n\n- Stop dousing yourself with axe body spray. \n\n- Understand that Indian food makes your clothes smell. It gives off oils that get stuck in everything. Open your windows and doors when cooking to minimize this as much as possible. You won’t be able to resolve this entirely but do what you can. The skytrain now smells like Indian food even when empty. \n\n- Stop riding your bikes and scooters on the sidewalk. It’s illegal and you have a responsibility to learn the rules \n\n- Stop hiring everybody that you know. Before nepotism was all about networking, but nowadays, it seems to be about hiring Indian people that you know. I am being discriminated by employers because they think I will do the same once I am in. Diversity in teams matters. Indian immigrants don’t seem to believe in this and think all that matters is the most qualified get the job. This is how you end up building facial recognition models that don’t recognize Black people. \n\n- You work at McDonald’s. Stop blasting Indian music. The McDonald’s by my place is blasting Indian music from the back and it overtakes the restaurant music. \n\n- In a work environment, even if it is all Indians, speak English. You ostracize your fellow colleagues and customers. You are also not improving your English skills by speaking in your primary language.\n\n- Make an effort to make non-Indian friends. It’s really intimidating even as an Indian to see large packs of Indian men\n\n- Learn how to swim. Every year we have multiple drownings at a lake because Indian people are unprepared for the reality of the water. This is a basic safety skill.\n\n- Stop staring at women. Even as an Indian woman I get stared at by these guys. Just stop. \n\n- Get headphones. Playing music or having conversations on speakerphone in public places is rude and very inconsiderate of others \n\n- Stop cheating. Whether that’s cheating the system or during classes. We grow up here and environment that even though we can cheat, the culture makes it completely unethical and you just don’t. The consequences are significant. I get it that you come from a country that doesn’t have enough resources for its population, but you give the entire Indian community a bad name when you cheat, lie, and do other unethical things.\n\n- Learn about Canadian values. The Canadian charter of rights and freedoms exists. Under it cases were won supporting equality for women, LGBTQ rights, etc. this is built into our constitution and it’s so ridiculous to come across people who don’t adopt Canadian values. Why choose Canada if you want a culture of what’s back at home. \n\n- I get it that our healthcare system needs to improve but am disappointing reading advocacy for private healthcare in Indian Facebook groups in Canada. Tommy Douglas was voted as the greatest Canadian. He is the founding father of our nationalized healthcare system. For the most part, Canadian are happy that we don’t have a healthcare system like the United States, where your access is determined by your employer or your income. We don’t go bankrupt when we have a health emergency. Go back to India or go to another place where you can pay for private healthcare, but stop advocating to transition our healthcare system to a private system. While you’re at it go look up who was determined to be some of the greatest Canadians.

You Indian should stay in India. Don’t go to foreign countries because you guys doesn’t know how to live a bad behavior. What a nasty people.

canada still has much going for her and i wouldn't bet against her.\n\ntoo often times, i find those talking trash about canada, are in truth also those who still have a backdoor exit plan for themselves to return to canada in case things go side ways for them abroad. it's actually both sad and pathetic in reality - someone who always thinks the pasture is greener on the other side but still does their best to keep a backdoor open just in case and return to something they've 'forsaken'. \n\nentitlement plus pure selfishness mentality in my opinion. fence sitters.\n\nalso many times, those who talk poorly about canada and leave her still return to her every year for a couple months - especially the ones with pr and or citizenship. can't give up those sweet sweet senior oas or gic later on in life or to escape to canada in case some geopolitical storm erupts in or nearby their 'homeland'.\n\nso for those who think poorly of the nation of which one grew up in, please don't talk trash about canada. she isn't perfect but she definitely doesn't deserve to be treated so poorly by ungratefulness.\n\ni think the only ones who are truly 'entitled' to talk trash about canada are the ones who either haven't stayed here long enough, are not citizens or pr holders and or those who literally no longer have any fall back plans to return to canada (ie: family, assets, housing etc) if things don't work out abroad and one is able to cry back home to mommy (canada). also those who don't make canadian wages but spend it remotely abroad are entitled to talk poorly of canada. don't take canadian money and than turn around and talk badly about the hand who is feeding you.\n\nwhat canada is facing today is also pretty much what most countries are facing all over the world (minus the drug epidemic). canada is doing better than most nations on this planet - pound for pound.\n\nthe drug epidemic is truly an uniquely north american tragedy in modern times.

It's all about genetics. If you are short, ugly and physically weak (vast majority of Indian men), racism will automatically follow you. Improve your genetics, Indian people. Arranged marriages have destroyed your genetics where a person that looks like a donkey and just as smart can find a partner via an arranged marriage and reproduce their bad genes. In my country, for a man to find a partner, we have to go to the gym, we have to physically look good, learn to defend ourselves, educate ourselves, get high paying jobs etc to find a partner. An Engineering degree won't automatically get us a partner here, we have to look good and fight for the women's love. Ugly, short, weak men who can't defend themselves, they don't get to find a partner and they die off and their weak genes die off with them. Sometimes if they are ugly and weak but super rich they will find a wife but that's a rare case. Indians haven't kept up with world standard genetics of strength, height, looks, physical ability. They have always relied on Maths and Science degrees and overseas high paying jobs to find a partner and be respected. Guess what, my neighbor is 6 foot 2 inches in height, he goes to the gym, works hardand when he walks down the street, everyone respects him and talks nicely to him and he doesn't need an Engineering degree to get that respect. He works in a factory but the world respects him because of good genetics and he can beat you up if you say anything to him. It's his good genetics that get's him respect. I have ugly, short and weak Indian friends and they get racial attacks all the time. I also have good looking, tall and strongly built Indian friends and they don't experience racism. It's all in your genetics. So stop reproducing weak genes and let them die off and in 50 - 70 years, Indian genetics will improve with tall, strong good looking men and women and your desirability overseas will improve meaning you could go anywhere in the world and be respected, you wouldn't have to do Engineering and Math based courses to balance off bad genetics or to get respect etc. You would be able to get service based jobs with little education with good genetics, like Realestate Agent, Management, Customer Service roles, Business roles etc. Not just stuck in a computer lab crunching numbers like most Indian men going overseas do now.

The racism against Germans that is so openly expressed in the comments here is unbearable. Yes, there are some bad people in Germany (basically in any country on this planet, unfortunately) who are themselves racist or discriminatory. But that is by no means the majority of Germans. I have lived here for decades and have met the most warm-hearted people. From the comments I rather gather that many who come to Germany simply extremely overestimate the demands they can (and may) make of Germany (or pretty much any other immigration-friendly country). If you come to Germany it is obvious that you have to learn German (or the local language). That is the case everywhere, including France, Italy and Korea - you name it. And if you can't do that straight away that's okay too, most Germans speak English and are very forgiving when it comes to language learners. Nobody shouts at you for not knowing German. Furthermore, Germans are very direct and don't care much about artificial and feigned friendliness. What you see is what you get. And I think that's honest and quite refreshing. \n\nThe thing is, YOU have to approach Germans and can't just expect them to roll out the red carpet for you just because you think they are in need of your workforce. The simple truth is: the standard of living in Germany is very high. The culture is diverse, and anyone who doesn't recognize this should broaden their horizons. Cities like Munich, Berlin, Stuttgart and Hamburg are beautiful, extremely multicultural and anyone who describes them as 'dull' will probably not feel at home in any city on this planet. The people are also nicer than many non-germans claim - that's obvious, because if that weren't the case, Germany wouldn't be the most popular country to immigrate within Europe amongst immigrants. Of course there are problems on the German side too. Bureaucracy, language barriers and discrimination. But they definitely don't deserve the unreasonable racism they face here in the comments. You can't criticize Germans for their alleged discriminatory behavior by unreasonably attacking and generalizing Germans themselves. Anyone who approaches Germans with prejudice and racism should not be surprised if they do not receive a friendly welcome there...

I agree with you leaving. I am a 3rd generation retired Canadian who used to be proud to be so. Now I am not, in fact I am embarrassed to say I am Canadian as it is nothing to be proud of. I think of how good things were in the 70's and 80's while I was young and now how bad things are today and it is truly depressing. Back then if you are willing to work, you could make a decent living, buy a car, a house and raise a family - today, good luck with that. The people in the west have had no say in the faulty governments we have had as Ontario and Quebec have put the final nails in our coffin when they elected that buffoon JT for a third consecutive term and then the NDP kisses his butt to join up and torture us more when most sane Canadians did not ask for this. JT is truly an embarrassment for this country although the US is in step with comatose Joe. I feel sorry for the kids and many others that are trying to survive, make a living and buy houses. Reverse discrimination has been at play for 20 years or so but is really out of control these days when a white Canadian kid that has got 5 yr honours degree in University has trouble finding a job today because you are the wrong colour. Our national anthem was changed a number of years back for no good reason. Immigrants are being imported by this idiot called our PM and handed out living accommodations, jobs and our hard earned $$ that he stole from us while our own people fall deeper into the quagmire. Many of these immigrants are bringing their hatreds and views with them to are country and are causing chaos. We are heavily taxed for driving our cars and heating our houses on FALSE pretenses with the govt saying it is to save the world - nice try - BS. The government and schools are pushing the alphabet children protocol per the WEF. These are just a few things that are wrong with this country that is sinking quicker than the Titanic. Everything this country stood for is now gone. It is so obvious to anyone that doesn't consume the main stream medias programming what is going on here (and when you do look at it you see how ridiculous what they report, how they report, they are no longer reporters but merely reading the scripts they have been handed by the powers that be) , however there are far too many people with their faces in their phones that are zombies today which is what the governments want. Good luck to you and anyone else left that is sane. Unfortunately too many people are simply programmed beyond repair and will continue to keep their faces buried in their phones, consume the garbage the main stream media is pushing on behalf of the powers that be and continue to vote to keep the same idiots in power.

Well, I am leaving, yes. Although I am very grateful with Germany, I work in IT, and I don't hold a diploma, but I have more than 20 years of experience in the field, I always been offered jobs beneath my experience, only because of a paper. I am Italian and was very enthusiastic when I arrive 4 years ago, but the way I was treated was mostly bad, that led me not wanting to study the language anymore, people were so agressive in the streets. When I needed the back of the justice, it was never on my favour, even when I was right, as I was hit in the street by a stranger who made my face bleed, police said that it was nothing and that it was the opposite, even when they had evidence. I was mistreated at a hospital in Schwabing, München and medical attention was refused, police didn't help and they requested my to litereally scream for help, and I did because I was bleeding on a place I didn't know, with -4 degrees, without any jacket. I even tried with the discrimination line, which doesn't work, and if you write them an Email, they will say they cannot help. I Will never understand that level of cruelty, not to mention 5000 Euros I had to pay for a ticket, because I suppousedly scratch the car of a person and because my Kaution was never returned, tried, but never got a lawyer, because you need to pay for the air you breathe in this country. ARD, what is that? You pay for the right of internet, and you pay internet as well, the desorganization with the states is massive, and often times, you will get a letter in your box post having to pay somehting else. My energy and money was completely drained. I just had it. Despite of everything, this country tought me great things, like discpline and hard work which I really appreciate and will take this knowledge...somewhere else. I also became better human being as a result of being exposed to all of the bad things. But I am isolated case, not everyone goes through these things, I did, and to me it was more than enough to wanting to Auf Wiedersehen. Unfortunaly Germany prefers to keep people who did not come to the country to add something, crazy as it seems, they would allow more people who rape, do not respect their culture and commit other crimes, instead of really welcoming people who came here to have a better life. Germany is currently too focused on other countries problems and failed on attending the needs of their citizens and the citizens who came to live here, including europeans, as myself. I truly believe that Germany is a beautiful country, München is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen, and has astonishing landscapes and vibrant nature. But...

MAT AAO CANADA jo b soch raha hai... Not at all a better country than India... The only thing that Canada has is its Purchasing power parity. You can get a nice car and phone here on $0 just pay the monthly installments and you are good. I don’t want to talk about drugs here. Every major hard drug, a small dosage of which can be lethal to us is legal in Canada. If you don’t believe you can research on your own. Canada is like 3 times bigger than India area wise and population of Canada is almost equivalent to any big Metropolitan city of India like Delhi. Log kam hai, space bht hai, sarkar k pas paisa bohot hai, that’s why people have little better life here. Bss yahi reason h Canada me achi life ka... India me log ye sab hi dekhte hai flane k lodke ne bdia muscle car leli latest phone le liya but uski installment deni b padti h... Vo kaise doge jab ap minimum wage par kam krte ho... Isliye Piche mat lago bhai. Dur k dhol suhavne hote hai... CANADA is the biggest scam that is sold to immigrants.... If someone has a backup in India then they can think about coming here spend some years of their precious life here otherwise plz don't even think about coming here.... Say if you buy a bicycle for your commute which is a good convenient and healthy option but still it is of no use of it. Reason is bikes get stolen here very easily. I am saying this coz I have seen this with my own eyes. Police is incompetent here. They will arrest you but will leave you after 15 minutes after making you sit in your car. I know people who have 5 6 DUI’s and they still drive drunk. They do it coz they know the shortcomings of police. They know jails are full here. Checkout what a high ranked police official said about cars being stollen in big cities of Ontario (its on youtube) for which he was trolled badly. Dur se dekhne par lagta hoga ya suna b hoga hmare logo ne k Canadians bohot welcoming h but ab vo bat nahi rahi.. Ye chij hmare parents ki generation me thi. Log welcoming the phle par vo ab budhe ho chuke hai.. Todays generation is racist (not everybody though). Just coz these countries are developed doesn't mean people here are developed too... India se jada greeb hai yhn k log... An average Canadian make $2200 to $2500 per month if they work @minimum wage, which is below the poverty line in canada again you can research about it if don't believe me. Teenagers ko paise ni count karna ata agar kisi ko paise dene b pad jaye... 15 16 year old kids ask their parents how to pay and how much cash they need to pay, Canada is Not at all good education wise. I dont even want to talk about the health care system of Canada it literally sucks. I got my family doctor after 6 years. India me raho Canada ghumne aoo vapis chle jao.. Eve hi faltu me kisi ke piche lag kar ya kisi ke influence me akar idhar na ao.... jitni mehnat sbko yhn karni padti hai utni india me karlo aram se haste haste life spend kroge... It's all fine and well that you want to leave Canada but where will you go that's any better? After all it is your choice. The problems we see happening around the world are a global problem. There are at least 2 major wars going on. Inflation is rampant in most countries in the world and we ARE heading for a global economic depression that will dwarf anything that we've seen in the 1930's. Speaking for myself my roots are here in Canada which is not the Canada I grew up in anymore. Sadly. Used to be a really great place to live until Trudeau and his band of thieves ruined it. I may as well make my last stand here. If I was going to move where would I go. The EU? Absolutely not! They're tanking. America? No effing way! The American empire is collapsing. Along with the FED note. South America? Don't think so. Most S. American countries are iffy at best. Australia? No. They're nuts. New Zealand? No. They're struggling badly and people are leaving there in droves. Africa? No way in hell. So that doesn't leave very much. Antarctica? Little on the cold side. Few amenities. ;) May as well stay where I am and take my chances. Better the devil I know than the one I don't. If you're serious about moving out of Canada be sure to do your due diligence and research about your target country. Grass always looks greener on the other side but many times isn't once you get there. One place that I AM attracted to is the Azores. Beautiful place. Friendly people. Good climate. One drawback is that I don't speak Portuguese. And I would have to be independently wealthy. After a certain amount of time out of the country I would lose my Canadian pension. It's said that where we are is where we're supposed to be. I may as well take my chances, make the best of a crappy situation and stay here. There really is no better or worse place than Canada. The majority of the countries in the world are struggling with their own problems. I'm not willing to jump from the frying pan into the fire. One of the biggest reasons I want to stay in Canada is that if it does come to a nuclear shooting war it would be very unlikely that Canada would be attacked. So here I'll stay. For better or worse. The LIberals won't be in power forever and if people have the smallest amount of sense, so few will vote for them in the next election that the Liberals will lose party status. I fervently hope that happens. ;)

If Canadians are unhappy about immigration, that literally means it’s an indisputable scientific fact that there are immense issues with our system. The dark and disgusting side of this that doesn’t get talked about is how many newcomers leave shortly after spending everything they have to boost our GDP before they realize they’ll never get the opportunity or life they were promised here. I don’t think it’s just Canadians that see immense issues with our immigration system.\n\nImmigration also implies diversity. Not just flooding the country with millions of people from one section of the world.\n\nWe are indeed in a catch 22 though, because with the lack of replacement birth rate we’ve had, we can’t simply haunt immigration. But the asinine quota needs to go down. This all boils down to basic math and basic economics. There are no excuses for how badly this has been botched.

Variety of foods: thanks to all the multi-cultures in Canada\n\nThese are just a few, sorry your personal experience was bad, very sorry, but that’s your personal experience and Canada isn’t as you make it seem out to be. The vast majority of people are not against immigration per se, they just want it to be done at a pace that it doesn't change the fabric of society. There are countries where this happens, and they don't experience the evaporation of social cohesion we've seen in Western Europe. Immigration can boost economies and foster diplomatic ties between nations if done well. If done badly, it leads to chaos.

Why is this constantly debated on social media and the gov doesn't stop it? Do they never look at social media for any other reason than to try and arrest people for bad tweets? Can they not feel the rising anger in the country? Do they think it came out of nowhere? 10 or 15 years ago people really weren't so upset about it, I am done with liberals, maybe conservative won't be much better, don't know, but done with liberals...Our leader has been pampered his whole life and has no clue about how hard things are, he just makes endless speeches about it...

There are now quite a few news stories in Canada of immigrants leaving the country - some back home and others to the USA and other places. Many just get a Canadian passport and then leave. There are public health care and pensions, so it can be an asset and also a convenient travel document to have. A lot of Canadian university graduates have a very hard time finding work in their fields and a lot of them look to the US for a better future. Both immigration and unemployment in Canada are much higher that in the US - so more people are chasing fewer jobs that often pay less and are taxed more than in the USA. Opportunities are generally a lot fewer in Canada than the US, and the business environment is not as favourable, and taxes significantly higher. You would be getting some of the entrepreneurs from Canada moving to the US for more favourable conditions as well to launch a business and also now a lot more rich investor types, so-called high net worth individuals wanting to relocate, because they just raised the capital gains tax in Canada. Capital gains is also triggered on inheritance in Canada with a deemed sale of property and assets, so rich people would prefer the American system and want to be residents there for tax purposes and have their assets grow in value in the US compared to Canada. There are very large numbers of foreign students and other categories of immigrants which may have as their goal going to the US after getting a temporary visa to Canada which is easy to get - maybe something like half a million to a million people in those categories depending on the year, plus around another half million regular immigrants and refugees now. The Trudeau administration has increased immigration to record numbers. It has been steadily going up over the years for several decades since 1990. Because of family re-unification it can have a snowball effect and could significantly exceed 1 million per year. A lot of the sending countries have much larger populations than Canada, so there are a lot more that can be potentially sent to Canada in the future. About 1/4 of the population of Canada has been added in the past few decades. Add to that visitors and temporary visas - that is a lot of people potentially moving to the US. Before the 1990s Canadians visiting the US were not required to have a passport and a drivers' license or birth certificate was adequate. Now a passport is required. It is impossible to effectively control the long Canada-US border, so there could be some unified policies in that area agreed on between Canada and the USA on immigration and refugees. Canada currently has a very open immigration policy with the government actively seeking out more immigration beyond its current processing capacity and trying to take rejected immigrants from other countries. The Canadian government, especially in recent years under Trudeau is immigration hungry. It might be the only country in the world doing that. What some news reports are now saying is that some immigrants are actually leaving, since they find it so difficult in Canada and some are worse off than they were in the countries they came from, which were considered to be less developed than Canada. \nWashington currently has more immigration controls and administrative competencies than Ottawa, so US pressure and influence is a faster way to get reforms into the system than waiting for local politicians to do anything, which is unlikely. Canada is seen by some as a backdoor into the US. Biden's immigration policies could be seen as very conservative in Canada compared to Trudeau's. It used to be in the news about how refugees were trying to get to Canada and walking across the border in Quebec and out west from the US earlier, but now there are more news stories of immigrants leaving Canada trying to go the other way, probably due to high costs and unemployment because the government took in more people than it could absorb into the economy. They have the idea that immigration drives GDP growth so that they can borrow and spend more, expand the civil service, etc. without making any cutbacks or efficiencies, supposedly without the Debt to GDP ratio getting worse, just by bringing in more people as if that would drive the economy. A lot depends on who you bring in as well. Are they going to go on welfare, are they going to increase crime, will they somehow contribute to society, are they a net tax benefit or cost in terms of government services, will they invest money, will they start a business and create jobs for others ? Those issues do not factor into government decision making in Canada for the most part. Ontario Premier Doug Ford did say there were too many foreign students. It is bad planning not to consider those factors since there are other costs that grow with those policies as well, and infrastructure has to be expanded. I think that the real immigration numbers to Canada are not transparent or made public, nor are the costs involved, if anyone even knows what they are. Nor is the impact on crime. You can guess from what the reports are in other countries. The Fraser Institute has made some estimates on the net costs of immigration to the government budget a few years ago, which were very high and which by now have increased - the cost equivalent of several new aircraft carriers each year. They are big numbers which are not publicized, but it amounts to the fact that immigration is subsidized by the taxpayers in Canada and it is not paying for our pensions as an ageing society as has been claimed. There is less money for education, health care and pensions per person, and those social benefits will probably have to be reduced over time. Social programs can only be delivered to the extent that the government has money. The bigger social system a county has, the more such immigration policies are going to cost. Trudeau has been expanding various social programs as well, so higher taxes and debt are likely with that approach. Then more productive people and companies will want to leave Canada and go to the US. Probably the government does not know what the actual numbers and costs are and doesn't actively keep track of that information beyond what is required. Probably nobody knows what the true immigration figures and their associated costs are in Canada, and hardly anyone has even studied those issues. If they can just walk across the US border and get papers so easily making an asylum claim, it is not surprising, since it would take them longer to get a regular visa and work permit if they did it legally. You could call that a loophole in the US immigration system which is being exploited. The US is better governed in general and has a better system in many ways, but I am not sure if it is the same on that. People have arrived on boats and have not been sent back. At least in the US you have more open information about those issues. In Canada it is hard to find out anything about it. Deportations from Canada are very few. \nOn other issues in Canada when voting in federal elections you have to show a government issued photo ID like a drivers' license or passport to vote and bring a card that was mailed out to eligible voters that gets updated addresses when a person files their taxes. I have never heard of mail-in ballots in Canada, but there are remote areas of the country in the far north who may have special system for voting. It is easier to get a Canadian citizenship than US and many more citizenships are handed out in Canada each year in proportion to the population than in the US. Canadian might be one of the easiest citizenships to get in the world. The official line now is that it is a country of immigrants. Based on current trends, will very little opposition to it in the parliament and most MPs supporting it, future immigration to Canada could increase to several million per year because of the rapid growth of population in the world, and the momentum already growing of immigration to Canada, so it may change significantly in the future. Historically around the world you can see many examples that country names, borders, flags and languages change over time with population changes, so it might not be called Canada anymore in 50-100 years. For example, Bulgaria used to be called Thrace which had been a powerful kingdom in antiquity and had a different language which is barely known about anymore. Over the past 2,000 years it has gone through a number of changes and had various regimes governing it, has been independent and also part of several different empires. Canada has only been a country for a short time in comparison and has been been going through significant changes. Trudeau has said that Canada is a post-national country. Canada is also going through a period of critical self-examination and deconstruction-revisionism. A lot of what had been viewed as positive from its history now is seen more critically, with re-naming and removing historical figures now seen as negative.\nDiscussing immigration policy critically is considered by many to be taboo in Canada, unless a person is saying good things about it in general. You can hear people say that the government isn't processing enough people, for example, but not often that there are too many or that it costs a lot of money. The trend of migration from Canada to the US would only increase much more in the future as it is going currently, and its role as a stepping stone to migration to the US could increase. The way this would be seen by many in Canada is that they are losing valuable people to the USA whom they consider assets, since a lot of officials have been trying to bring in more people into the country, but not everyone wants to stay in Canada nowadays because of a lack of jobs and opportunities. I am in canada right now. I live in Oshawa a town of GTA. Find a job is a problem. College life is good but there is a harsh truth of teachers being rude and disrespectful of the students. This country has a lot of scam. Even scammers are using indeed to get your emails and numbers to connect with you. Medical facilities are so irresponsible that the meaning of emergency in this country is 12 hrs waiting period. Not only the drugs are a problem. Bad parenting, Not understanding responsibilities as a tax payer all of these are included. And the most important role is played by the government who doesn’t have any plans to tackle this prblm ?

Alright. The median age in Canada is 41years. That means in 20 years, majority of the population would be close to retirement, which also means that if a younger population is not 'brought in' it would be disastrous for the economy. That being said, the government can limit the number for people immigrating from certain countries. If you need more Europeans, you need to create a social support net better than Europe. Its purely logical. \nIf you do not want more Indians, you limit the number of Indians coming to Canada. Its simple. Hating them for who they are doesn't help. Who said they don't want to go home? Canada invites international students with a promise to give them PR if they can finish school and qualify using one of the programs. I know because that's how I came to Canada. Unlike the US where it's hard to stay and you need a marriage, in Canada you can use a qualifying job. Usually people sponsored by family to get PR, as well as refugees, are put ahead of international students as well as those on work permits. \n\nIn the meantime, International students over-pay into post secondary, as well as working off campus and paying taxes, but are always last in line when it comes to being granted PR. The rules change so much so fast, it's easy to find yourself out of time and kicked out of the country. \n\nSo whoever watches this will be happy that International students are getting kicked out, but the problem with too much immigration won't be solved because the country is still taking in so many refugees. Right now it's international students getting the axe and are the scape goats in ths game. \n\nAlso, the reason why Canada takes in more immigrants beyond the obvious, is because they want to eventually do away with property rights. So while people can cheer kicking out international students, it doesn't prevent the inevitable from happening, because the politicians took in too many new people.. \n\nAnyway, good luck to everyone, from either side of this debate, it's bad news all around wharever the final outcome.

I have not finished high school but have worked on bettering myself since the day I dropped out, this life is not for the weak minded it’s for the risk takers. If the homeless who lived here their entire life couldn’t make it happen for them and are not happy with their current situation I would strongly advice them to seek help for their mental health, change their bad habits, quit their addictions and if that doesn’t suffice maybe move to a third world country just to experience true homelessness, true hopelessness..

I live in the country on a farm and our small town nearby has homelessness, but I had no idea it was this bad everywhere in the big city. Edmonton doesn't seem as bad, but perhaps we are just lagging behind. I have seen Vancouver is even worse, perhaps THE worst. Like zombies on the street and firearms hidden in the tents.

Inflation is higher than what they say.. real estate prices are out of touch with the actual wages and salaries.. cost of food is unbelievable… rent is ridiculous.. Wages are laughable.. taxes are insane.. we are also taxed on so many things on top of income tax such as .environment, carbon, plastic, sugar tax etc… it is insane.. Healthcare is going through crisis… Getting MRI takes ages.. So now they wanna bring 500k in the midst of all this ? It is going to screw us more .. I also feel sorry for the migrants who are moving out here with lots of hope and ambitions… I also feel sorry for us .. stress = mental health issues….. This government screwed each one of us.. what they are doing doesn’t make any sense to me. They are out of touch with reality.. Canada doesn’t have the infrastructure to support immigration at the scale it wants. It’s not just housing. It’s hospitals, schools, gov’t service centres—not only is everything expensive, it’s inefficient too. I genuinely feel bad for the immigrants coming here based on the Canadian governments empty promises and being left with nothing like the rest of us. I don’t know how Canada can fix this but if this keeps getting any worse the country is just going to fall apart at the seams.

Canada is a country that is built on middle class where a large part of the population are within the same earning range. There are positives to this, less crime, there is not a huge disparity between rich and poor which makes for a more sane environment don’t get me wrong, we still have our crime rate. Now you can see that the professional programs are limited compared to other countries in the universities and highly competitive so that you don’t have so many professionals with high earning power thereby creating a huge disparity. On the other hand, these high earners don’t get a tax return, get any govt cheque, their kids don’t get huge amounts for OSAP instead, they get billed to pay back the govt and that’s how those of you complaining now where able to get govt cheques when you just relocated, support low income homes and newly landed immigrants. There’s free health, good Ammenities, snow is cleared, the roads are salted and de iced, free Education, govt loans and school loans that’s where your tax money goes to. Everyone has an accent that’s your identity why will you feel somehow or intimidated when you are told you have an accent that’s being timid say yes I have an accent it’s African or Caribbean etc. About racism it’s rare never experienced it that’s not saying it doesn’t happen but am gonna call you out if it’s obvious I have been profiled. Yes the weather is harsh did you not look at your map before relocating ?? In all most of these complaints are individual experiences so I won’t invalidate it but don’t trash what you gained from. Retraining and certification is a must especially when you are coming from a certain country and it’s not a bad idea. Am in healthcare and retraining is a must if you didn’t school here cos it’s entirely different talk about work ethics, equipments, software, differentiation in policies, health laws and malpractice laws.\nLook at the brighter side of life and stop complaining migration has its pros and cons position yourself in a place to have a good life, go back to school, get certified, keep retraining and adding value to your certificate.

Canada is suffering because of bad leadership. The government is unable to step in in housing, because that would mean lowering the global value of it. Unable to step in in services, because it is stuck with unions that support laziness instead of competences and performances. Unable to step in in anything because it is controled by a literal mafia that totally surrounded the government and pull the strings of every ministers who are no longer there for the people they represent, but afraid of being killed by those mafiosies. \n\n So the honest worker is mostly doing 32k a year with charges that are about 30k a year. That means most people are going paycheck to paycheck, unable to afford savings, nor think about retirement. Unable to afford to improved their housing situation, paying rent that is so high that it should be consider a crime. \n\nIn fact, i predict many landlord will be killed in the coming years, by people losing their mind, because of incredible amount of stress they are suffering from. You think i am joking? Just the last 2 days, 2 woman lost their life because of being beaten to death by their husband... \n\nThis country is failing and failing fast because it doesn't take care of its population anymore... it is a doom country and immigration was the nail in the coffin. The system is unable to sustain such a demand. The next year is gonna see an incredible rise in criminality, and i foresee mass murdering events, like there was in the US.

You tend to get high taxes in places with free health care. Many use Canada as a bridge country to the US. In the US health care is very expensive. Many companies you would work for offer free health care plans for single individuals ( if you have a family it costs a lot ) but those plans have such high deductibles and co-pays that you can't afford to use it. Most US health care plans have very high deductibles ad co-pays making it extremely expensive. Then when you retire and start getting social security which is not much money by the way, you also get Medicare which also has a monthly charge around $150 mth. It doesn't cover everything. It does not cover dental or vision. It does not cover all your hospital stay which tends to occur as you get older. Most Americans end up having to sell their homes that they spent a lifetime paying off, to pay medical bills and end up on Medicaid which is the free last resort medical care and end up in a nursing home to end your days. Most nursing homes are bad. You end up in a 2 person room, in diapers, up for meals and back to bed, diaper changed 2 times per shift and one shower per week done by whomever in the communal shower room. Shelves until you die, which many do very quickly out of despair. After working your whole life that is the prize folks in the US.

Every parent knows what is best for their children and families. I live in Pakistan 2. Me and my brother were born in US to Pakistani parents. My mom didn't want to leave US but my dad said there is no religious environment there plus our whole family lives in Pakistan and didn't want us to grow there. Our apartment owner who was Christian was not letting us go. He said that u guys r such an amazing people, good Muslims, nice to everyone and take Care for everyone. It was really hard for both of my parents but Allah made it easy for us. My mom passed away when I was 18 and my brother 15 and I really miss her. My option is u can guys move to Pakistan. U can get Islamic education + Islamic environment. No matter how bad our politics, government doesn't care about Its own country and no cleanliness but I still love Pakistan. I really respect you guys for making such a hardest decision with strength. I really support you guys with this decision. Just don't mind I was just giving an advice that Pakistan is way better but it is totally up to u guys which country u like to make your better life. If people have good jobs, stable family life then DON’T move…culture shock is huge that people moving from India don’t consider, just by wearing and eating western food doesn’t make you western! \nThere are sacrifices to be expected which you don’t realized as your great grandparents or grandparents might have made when they started out! \nMoving to another country is never easy, unless you’re loaded with $$$. People in India are lazy as they have people working for them and don’t realize how difficult it is living outside of that lifestyle (not everyone in India can afford housekeepers, cleaners). Being independent and doing things on your own has its own positive (just need to figure it out). \n\nI have worked in healthcare for 16 years and let me tell you…social system works better as everyone gets the health service without being judged about $$. Healthcare is based on priority around the world but people don’t understand this as they feel like their problem should be attended first no matter what! \nNot all drugs are legal in Canada, marijuana is legal though with acceptable limits…you probably were misinformed about drugs! Teach your kids about right /wrong when it comes to drugs, smoking, alcohol and that’s the best you can do! I know people who live in India and do all that which you mentioned you were worried about for your kids. \n\nWhat you experienced was a classic case of culture shock and your expectations didn’t match the reality! Moving away from family, changing lifestyle and being responsible adult (doing things on your own rather than relying on workers) is difficult but doesn’t make the country bad that have you an opportunity to settle! Don’t take things for granted even while you live in India…appreciate the effort that goes into everything- keeping roads clean, people working hard, etc. \n\nBest advice I can give to those considering moving to any foreign country is: Keep an open mind, be ready to work hard and visit the country you want to move to before you make the grave decision of uprooting everything! Things usually turn around and get better after 5 years mark- focus on upgrading your education if you have a basic degree from India (even you know how competitive things are in India, so how can western world not be!)\n\nBeing vegetarian- things are tough when it comes to food but living in Toronto has never been an issue. Even people living in India avoid outside food due to hygiene reason which is not a problem in Canada as food inspection is pretty strict (having worked with ministry of health). \nCities like Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, etc has variety of food options (including veg)…just have to be really open to trying other cultural food (Asian, Mediterranean, Italian,Mexican, etc). My parents are strict vegetarians and have never truly struggled when they are out. \n\nCost of living is definitely higher as the standard living is higher compared to India. Education (until grade 12) and healthcare are free (in reality, you pay tax for it), you get pension when you retire (based on your contributions and type of jobs you had)…you failed to navigate the system and I will say having family around is why you didn’t take opportunity to explore and learn on your own. \n\nPlease don’t come to Canada and make life difficult for other Indians who choose to willingly accept the culture and lifestyle here after going through this hardship- cost of living and housing has gone up dramatically in major cities because of immigration influx! If you’re serious about moving and putting up, only then move! Otherwise all the best for your future endeavours!

The prince of Saudi Arabia is just telling him to lie in public when they interview him but the reality is that Saudi Arabia doesn’t care at all of Palestine he still want to have relations with Israel and he is just waiting for the war to end even one of his close worker saying in public that the conflict of Israel -Hamas didn’t slow them to continue with the agreement of peace cause the prince of z Saudi Arsbia wants yo tele some Israelis to work for him in Saudi Arabia and I feel sorry for him if he fulfill his wishes cause he doesn’t know how in the reality Israelis are and if they go to work in Saudi Arabia they are gonna do the same think they did in Palestine the prince doesn’t know the kind of scorpions will take to his country and that makes mi happy for him to pay for not helping Palestine .
