Prime Minister Trudeau, can you annex America so we can have common sense leadership again. You and Ukrainian Leader Zelensky are true leaders. Trump is hurting our allies and most of all us Americans. Just know i and many other Americans did not vote for Trump, a criminal and womanizer, I as an American stand with Canada. Go Canada,!!!!!

I'll say what Prime Minister Trudeau couldn't say.\n\nThe US President and half of the nation's population are modern day Nazi's. They blame 'outsiders' for their problems. They fund genocide and advocate for ethnic cleansing. They blame their economic woes on other nations and attack erstwhile allies. They threaten to annex other nations.\n\nThese are all things that Adolf Hitler did in Germany. The similarities are remarkable. \n\nCanada is strong and most importantly, united. There's no question that we will get through this.\n\nThe United States is weak and incredibly divided. I fear for the chaos that is to come and for the other half of the population that are not Nazi's. This is what it was like to live in 1930s Germany.

He wants to do it with laws by getting Canada to join the USA. If that does not happen, he will use the military to do it, and Canada will be seen as the enemy of the USA allied with China. Trudeau admitted that without the welfare the USA has been providing to Canada, your economy will collapse. The Bank of Canada is bankrupt. The Canadian dollar is about to collapse. How will you feel next year when you need two dollars to buy what one dollar buys now? And plan on having fewer dollars to start with because your carbon tax, your sales tax, your income tax are all going up. WAY up. This is what happens when you decide to compete with a USA that is unshackled. The USA can produce more of our own oil than we can use, and we will sell the extra to YOUR foreign customers cheaper than you can produce it. Then you will be BEGGING for a pipeline. So Trump invited Canada to become a member of the most successful and powerful union of sovereign states in history, something that even our own territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and all the others do not have. An invitation to be a bona fide member. Why do you think that is? Minerals? The USA has all the minerals we need. We have more oil, coal, and natural gas than any nation also, and we can produce and refine it cheaper than any country can. So Canada was invited to become a state so Trump could peacefully eject the ChiComs from North America. And did you accept? No. Did you say no thank you? Trudeau is correct. I am ashamed of our current usa government and its treatment of its closest allies. I am not a fan of PM Trudeau but on this occasion, I'm willing to flipflop. Oh, my goodness, it's so refreshing to hear a country leader speak a coherent sentence, a coherent thought structure, zero vanity tripping, berating opponents, finger-wagging, screeching accusations, tantrums. And then in a second language!!! Just because I'm not one of HIS fans, I am however a massive fan of Canada. I support Canada in this situation 100%. Imagine if Trudeau announced that he would be pausing the carbon tax on the Canadian people to help offset some of the costs imposed on us by the United States. During the Second World War Canada punched way above its weight in supporting it Allies and defeating Hitler and the scourge of fascism. It’s not a country or a people I’d want to take on lightly but as Prime Minister Trudeau highlights this is going to hurt US citizens as much as Canadian.

Canada has done nothing but put out propaganda. Canada is a Liberal country that interferes with our elections. As someone from the Netherlands, I wish our former prime minister and current NATO leader Rutte responded in a similar way to Trudeau. He was always a true politicians' politician, but the way he stood with the US right after the horrible treatment of Zelensky was a new low. If the majority of US allies responded in a firm manner the way Trudeau just did, it might be enough to scare some Republicans into doing the right thing.

I live in Maine on the border with Canada and im absolutely ashamed at what trump is doing. Canada is an incredible country and a great ally to the US, and this entire thing that trump is doing is reprehensible. It would be an improvement to have a leader like Trudeau who can actually get a point across.

The speech of Mr Trudeau, the way Canadians have shown solidarity for one another, today it all puts my country, The US, to shame. I am ashamed of what my government is doing and I am disgusted with the people doing it. In Mr Trump’s first term, as eclipsed as they were by the many many many actions and attitudes he imposed on us that embarrassed and hurt us as a country, there was the rare occasional decision I could at least understand even if I did not support it. Since taking office literally not one thing he has done has made sense to me as an American. I can only say how sorry I am for what the country I love is being used to do to you all, especially our closest allies and friends and in particular the people of Canada today. I grew up in Commerce Twp Michigan. I visited Canada regularly and, even as crime from Detroit poured across the border into Canada, Canadians always treated us with respect and welcome. I never imagined that would stop but now I find it hard to imagine how it might continue and it breaks my heart.
