Yes this move does look like it could be connected to Putin. If Canada financially struggle then they can't help if needed with the war in Ukraine which is a plus for Putin. Bad move Trump US could be left out in the cold in future if he starts doing this to his allies and siding with Russia. Wake up Trump you're going down the wrong Path.

Now this is how an intelligent and reasonable leader gives a speech! I know Trump doesn't understand how tariffs work, but how can other Republicans in Congress agree to starting trade wars with our closest allies? Russia and China probably can't believe their good fortune. Trade wars with your allies, Trump crapping on NATO and then hanging Ukraine out to dry. How is this allowed to happen? Things are going to get much, much worse.

Trudeau is serving the final moments of his last term, but his approval ratings shot up since the Trump presidency started. Trump genuinely such a crappy leader than other leaders with approval ratings in the dirt are gaining support for going against him. As an American, it’s damn amazing. Going to be interesting to listen to Trump lying to Congress tonight. His only other option is to avoid talking about tariffs.
